Not worth the risk. Just like any other lottery, its built so that you loose. The odds have to go in favor of the house or of course they wouldn't make any money.

You forgot to point his other shill out.

I didn't forget, I thought it was a weaker case and wouldn't help my point much.

All I am saying is, why do we keep on hating if we do NOT have any facts, till now we only suspect?
I agree it seems fishy, but I played for 0.05BTC and got 5BTC (100 times as much).
I do not want to promote his site in any way, but I would say, just wait a while and see how it turns out.
That there wasn't a jackpot higher than 5BTC seems pretty true since he is running the lottery only one month or so.

I say just keep an eye on it and see what happens...

Hi.
I would like to know if some one know something about lotto page http://www.btclottery.net?

Is any one allready play at this page?

Pretty dodgy if its not regulated.  They can just name their "friends" as the winner.  Though nothing else abt btcs are regulated either.

Well, in the end its ur choice what to believe.
I do NOT know the owner of the site in any way and all I can say it works.
Still I can NOT imagine that there is a jackpot of 10kBTC, I agree.
The rest is just speculation Wink

Gambling is an entertaining (even addictive) activity, but it is by no means an investment vehicle. I almost cry when I even think about it. One of those things millions of people look to for hope of riches, and they are all just robbing themselves. Fun being the bookie or casino though :/

I mostly win Smiley
Bought just a ticket for the sake once, and won 5BTC.
Thought about entering again bought 2 tickets:
1.) 3,8,16,23,32,38
2.) 6,13,18,25,31,36

Draw of the 17th is 2,3,5,23,33,38
Which means I got with the 1st ticket 3 out of 6 again Cheesy
Total I made 10BTC of this lottery by only paying 0.15BTC Smiley

I'm just lucky I guess, 2 times in a row 5BTC (3 out of 6)  Grin
But even if I lose I would NOT care at all since it is only 0.05BTC per ticket.

I've read this thread a couple of times and chuckle at all the scam/noscam analysis.  The point is, all games of chance are the same.  There's a chance you'll get the winning numbers, chance you'll pull the right cards, chance the dice will come up sixes, and a chance that the house is rigged.  I picture this guy as just another guy like the rest of us that came across some money (had it, given it, stole it, whatever) and put up a site in hopes to make some more.  So this guy speaks no good english, his advertising skills suck, and there is a chance his whole operation might be a scam, but life is a game of chances and this one only costs a bitnickle.

withdrawal       ฿-0.05    ฿0.21    August 17, 2012, 12:47 pm UTC
withdrawal       ฿-0.05    ฿0.16    August 17, 2012, 12:49 pm UTC

I don't know about the transaction ID, all I know is that I did it via the "tor-browser", so maybe that causes the problem?
Or you are just not able to payout 5BTC? no offense Wink

It just sucks if you win again but then someone is telling you that you haven't! Although you paid!!!
