You can wait until its official but you can do the math. Company spends 9 months developing a game breaking chip. They develop it and get test results. Company employs a PR agency, yet the only news we get is a coindesk article mentioning it can do 0.2W/GH. What can also do ~0.2W/GH? Bitmain's chip, ASICMiner's chip. And as with both of those two, just because you can doesn't mean you can afford to [run chips that slow].

Price went up 0.2btc in the last 3 hours, Bitmain has told me they will not give any extra coupons.

they are doing very well by this move.
 anything that slows diff increase is pretty good.

right now getting one from lee is better

not sure if he will stop selling at his 340 price.

edit he has suspended sales for now.

they are not doing well for anyone but themselves.  i love how the individuals get hosed.  miners earn less and less and bitmain decides to raise prices instead of lowering them.

Well they are the only game in town these days so they can raise prices all they like. We have no other miners to buy that have any chance of a positive ROI.
