You try putting the following into your ascension.conf file:

addnode=104.131.111.163
addnode=104.236.113.178
addnode=asc.suprnova.cc

I did start up a fresh client without a conf to check and it synched for me right away. I checked on the nodes in NSLOOKUP and they are working fine. I need to get some sleep now. If the issue persists after adding a conf with addnodes please let us know.

My wallet also stopped syncing

i created the conf file, added all the nodes nothing  changed. Because the graphics from the wallet sucks i can not see on what block he hangs. Only thing i know is that there are problems with the blockchain, nodes, conf or the wallet.

I think its not something what i did wrong because almost nobody can use the wallet.

Any helping info?

Helping info for the people who still have sync problems:
-close your wallet
-Go to your roaming folder from ascension
-make a file named: ascension.conf -> add all the nodes what are posted in here
- delete everything in the roaming folder from ascension ONLY NOT: WALLET.DAT AND ASCENSION.CONF if you delete wallet.dat u lose all the coins!!!!!
-start wallet again, happy syncing.

Block reward is up to 1838. PoS blocks are firing by rapidly. They may end up shortening PoW more than we anticipated.  We will keep you updated.

Now is a great time to mine if you have not started yet.

It looks like PoS is going to eat almost 50% of the PoW. Would that mean more like 7 million total coins instead of 12 million?
