It's not that it's bad it's just that a lot of miners/renters don't know any better so they dump their coins for very little profit as soon as they can instead of holding them for the chance of earning a whole lot more than pennies later. |

The problem is most coins will die after the initial P&D. How do we know this is an exception and worth holding for miners. |

New alghoritm. This isn't a coingen coin. (So the dev has knowledge of coding) A lot of coins that are pump and dump are coingen coin. You pay 0.25-0.4btc and they create a coin for you. |
