Dev is pos interest  20% per year or less ? And when start logo contest ? I think ASN need better logo.
Thank you

Logo contest should be this coming week as long as user8x8 is still up for it.

My 35,000 asn are ready to be paid to logo contest winner.
Perhaps some body else wants to add some more ASN to the prize?

Also I think that we need coin logo, wallet splash acreen and twitter account background. Psd/ai/whatever originals included.

Hello,problem to sync wallet ver. v1.2.0.0 . Last block 4946 . Any help ?

Hello which wallet? Have you tried clearing the peers folder and restarting? If that don't work you can add a config file in the main folder in roaming. Add this to it:

Quote
rpcuser=yourusername
rpcpassword=yourpassword
rpcallowip=yourip
rpcport=6224
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
addnode=104.131.111.163
addnode=104.236.113.178
addnode=37.59.24.15
addnode=5.135.190.96
addnode=192.99.21.103
addnode=144.76.238.2
addnode=23.92.53.139
addnode=78.8.237.23
addnode=77.22.162.43
addnode=74.111.225.128
addnode=85.139.107.129
addnode=81.243.116.139
addnode=167.114.77.213
addnode=188.226.188.168

If it still will not synch let us know and we'll see if we can find the issue. Thank you.

Hello again. Try saving your wallet.dat (be very sure you save wallet.dat!) and conf file. Then delete the rest of the contents of the folder in roaming and restart the wallet. Try it first without the conf file in there. You may need to close and restart the wallet a couple times. If that doesn't work try it again with the conf file in there.

If there is still an issue it may require a bootstrap of the synched blockchain.

Dev, please make sure we have something big before BitTrex puts ASN for delisting due to low volume. Because I think no matter how many cheap asn you accumulate, the coin will die in that case.

Just in case you didn't know, they only delist coins with under 0.2 BTC a day volume over a long period of time. ASN is remains well above that.

When dev displays ASN road map start trading on  first page bittrex in no time.

The original post is updated, along with our first big release. Will be posting some highlights in-line.

Logo Contest
___________

One of the members of the community stepped forward and offered a 35000ASN bounty for a new logo. Thanks go to user8x8. We're going to go ahead and run the contest starting now. Make your entries by posting them in the thread below. The contest will run for about 1 week. All of the entries will then be posted in a poll, and the logo that gets the most votes will become the new logo. The ASN team reserves the right to disqualify an entry if it is a copy of an existing brand, or is obscene.

If you wish to include proposed new graphics for the wallet splash screen and twitter background, you are free to include those as well. Thank you for the support and good luck!

The new Ascension wallet BETA is here! You can download it from the links at the top of this post. It contains a few new features that will be elaborated on below. In short, it now has a block explorer inside the wallet itself, has in-wallet encrypted messaging (which we call AscendChat), and contains coin-join mixing technology (which we call AscendSend). Without further ado, on to the details:

AscendSend is essentially the coin-join feature with an ASN tweak or two. The nodes have been set up with 5001ASN on each for mixing purposes. This is required in order for it to mix coins properly. The current limit on AscendSend is 5000ASN per transaction. This may be increased in the near future, but for now, don't send over 5000ASN in one transaction. This process requires a specific order of actions to achieve the desired result of sending through the coin-mixer.

1. Create a new wallet address and label it 'mixer'
 2. Send the amount of coins you want to send to your new 'mixer' address
 3. Wait for ~25 confirmations to pass.
 4. Enable coin control from the advanced features options in the wallet. Check how many coins are located in the wallet called mixer and how many confirmations have passed for the mixer address balance.
 5. Go to the send coins page in the wallet.
 6. Enter the destination address.
 7. Enter the amount of coins you want to mix (To a maximum limit of 5000)
 8. Select the 'sendanon' checkbox
 9. Press send and wait for a short amount of time for the notification to return. You will see a smaller amount in the notification due to the process splitting up the TX in to smaller amounts.
 10. The mixers will now process the smaller TX then send into the block chain to the destination address.

Android Wallet
___________

The staking android wallet for ASN is complete. We want ASN to have a lot of mobile options, and this is the first step towards that goal. It is completed, and is in final testing stage right now. It did not make this update, but it will be released this coming week. Below are two preview screenshots. The first is an android phone, the second is an android tablet:

Current pre-mine resides at this address: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/asn/address.dws?12.htm As you can see, that puts the pre-mine at the #25 wallet on the rich-list. These coins aren't for our personal use. They're for the benefit of the coin, to be used for bounties to acquire needed features and services for Ascension. We've begun utilizing the pre-mine for exactly that. The available bounties are as follows:

Translation - 4000ASN
Promotional art/graphics - 4000ASN
Paper wallet generator - 5000ASN
Gambling/dice - 5000ASN
Web wallet - 20000ASN
Twitter tipbot - 30000ASN
Mobile wallet - 50000ASN (Android, IOS, Windows) Android CLAIMED -

Please DON'T do the work for any of these bounties until you PM us and get our approval. We don't want you to do all that hard work if someone has already staked a claim to it. The finished product must function properly to be paid the bounty. (this includes translations NOT being google translate) If you believe you can add something worthy of a bounty that isn't listed here, please PM us or post it on the thread. Please note: The bounty funds are very limited, if you'd like to donate ASN to the bounty fund you can send it directly to the address:

AMrYr1gZ9RfAgRbcyB7EvS8Jb3mXvcVV4N

All donations received to the pre-mine wallet will be used for bounty purposes ONLY

We have also paid out of pocket for several features and services in BTC. But our funds are limited. We have a couple of amazing offers we're considering right now from services such as Coingateway and Coinpayments, but they are more expenses and our funds are limited. If you'd like to contribute to the Ascension fund you can donate to the following BTC address:
