MinerFTW needs to realize that the new masternodes work.
And he needs to realize that he is not the dev of litedoge.
Also he needs to realize that the update was Pre-Anned since may 20th. he didn't bother to say any objections until after it was released.
Also when people and exchanges update to the new wallet, they will automatically find other peers using the irc thread that is in the new wallet. so we won't need his nodes any more( the ones that he keeps threatening to turn off.)

@aquitasIJ I for one do not spend a lot of time on the forums and don't read the OP every day.  You've mostly been absent since the almost failed release of the coin while a few of us have been promoting and helping the coin gain popularity and value.  Why try to fix something that isn't broken?  I hold a large quantity of litedoge and do not agree with the way development is heading.

what do you mean you don't agree with the developement?
the inflation is too high so the pos reward needs to decrease.
and adding features to the coin is good.

and you are telling me that you haven't checked the thread in 11 days?
the update and new features were pre-anned 11 days ago.

why are we even having this conversation.
new features = good
lower inflation = good

what are you and minerftw smoking  Huh

Oke. I will disable them then.

I hope the dev stops leeching on other peoples backs and setup a working explorer for his coin himself instead of letting other people pay for it.

Dev don't want them from me then its fine by me also.

All enjoy the day and if the good guys need anything shoot me a pm. im out Smiley

We're having this conversation because I DO care about this coin.  Why should I have to check this thread when the coin has been working perfectly since MinerFTW helped you fix it?  Also, I lost a lot of coins during higher rewards due to all the forking.  It's the dev's responsibility to keep the explorer running and MinerFTW had to step in and do that for you as well.

New features are not always good.  Lower inflation is usually good except in the case of where so many of us lost out on a lot of rewards early on due to things being so broken.  I think the coin has a better chance at gaining value keeping it the way it is and not making changes right now.  Let it stabilize and grow a bit more.

Also, you should listen to the community.  ALL of the community... not just this ONE thread.  Do your job.

I'm having a little trouble
I get:
Error: could not allocate vin for collateralAddress

Googled but all that came up was to unlock wallet and to add staking=0 to conf  Huh

any bright ideas?

Maincoin..  when I type the gen masternode  it gives me a key.. do I then need to importprivkey that key to get an address... I tried to send to the address it generates but that's a no go..   let me know what you did on that part of the tutorial..  Thanks

Step 3:
Go to Help > Debug window and type: masternode genkey

Step 4:
You get an address. Sent 5Million LiteDoge to that address

after you send exactly 5,000,000 to the masternode address, you need to wait for 15 confirmations before entering masternode start.

Masternode guide:

guide for how to make a masternode on your computer:
Download new wallet
Click on the Masternode tab in the wallet.
Click on "My Adrenaline Nodes"
Click on "Create..."
Put your name of your masternode as the Alias and put your IP with :9999 next to it. so for example xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9999
Then click ok
next you click on that masternode and you click on "Get Config"
Then you copy that and put it in your litedoge.conf
replace the thing that says "port=" with "port=31321"
and put in the conf "staking=0"
and enter a random words different for each one in the things that say "REPLACEME"
then save the conf in your litedoge appdata folder.
then start your wallet again
send exactly 5000000 coins to the masternode's address
then wait for atleast 15 confirmations
and then go to "Help", "Debug window", "Console"
and then enter "masternode start"
or you can go to the masternode tab in the wallet then click on your masternode and then click "Start" or "Start all"
the import thing to do in your qt wallet is also go to "Settings" and "Options" and put the "Reserve" as 99999999999 so it doesn't stake at all
Then wait and you should recieve the masternode payments.

Thanks very much  .. first problem I had I was trying to use my main wallet for staking to also be a masternode... Ill create a new wallet just for this purpose.. Also.. I downloaded the new windows wallet and I have computer still running the old wallet.. both are now on different forks.. can you confirm which wallet we need to be on and also what block we are on now..  We also need to contact this site as they only have the two nodes Minerftw provided which are now gone..   http://blockexperts.com/ldoge

old windows wallet block # 101630  around 16 connections max  net stake weight 900 mill

New wallet block # 101863  only 3 to 4 connects max  net stake weight around 500 million

also when I close the windows wallet im unable to reopen it.. it is not closing the process out correctly.. I had to not only close the windows process  but it was then bound to the local host port    I just rebooted pc to fix it..   So there is some kind of glitch there.. im running win 7 ultimate  64 bit edition..

Best Regards
