Thank you but how can i do that and where to signed it? all the informations are in the OP, check it and you will find answers to your questions. basically signing a message is proving you have full control over an address that you signed

Is that a question? There's no other way to prove that you own an address as good as signing a message. Some people may accept sending a specific amount of bitcoins to any address as proof but a determined scammer may try to pay the real owner to make a transfer. Of course they can still try to do the same for signed message but no bitcoiners with half their brain would sign a message saying that their address is controlled by someone else.

Any format that is clear is fine. E.g. yours would be difficult for multiple lines, but there are others that work well.

If you are confused about the format why not try mycelium wallet to sign message, though it operates only for smartphones but if you have it will be so easy to you and you have to share it to copy the whole including the(-) as it looks like this. -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- Message Here -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNATURE----- Version: Bitcoin-qt (1.0) Address: Your wallet address Here Signed Message Here -----END BITCOIN SIGNATURE-----

I need this signed message thing but I'm not that techie when it comes to this kind of stuff, so I'm really confused on how to use it, I have an airbitz wallet, but I can't find the option for signing message, I guess it doesn't have one. So do I just need to change wallet? If so what is the best and secured wallet to use with sign message option? Thanks anyone

I never use airbitz wallet, so I can't help you to sign message from there.. Very good desktop wallet - that i use over two years - is MultiBit Classic (not HD). I don't like MultiBit HD just because is more comlicated to recover. I'm almost sure that after instalation, you will not need any help to sign message from MultiBit Classic.

I wouldnt suggest using mutlitbit classic just because its no longer maintained (besides critical bugs). It will likely no longer work properly when SegWit is activated. @zer01ten as you can see from the first post there are several wallets that easily allow you to sign messages. The question is whether or not you need to sign with a specific key, for a specific address. If thats the case, it might not be possible. If you can sign with any new address, electrum is probably the quickest to setup.

Oh my, that's my problem I'm not that knowledgeable about the specifics, I don't know if what should I copy and paste or whatever. Anyway in case of electrum, I'll try to download it and see how it goes. Thanks Shorena

For starters try signing a message like this: This is zero1ten from bitcointalk.org and today is 2016/12/06
with just any of the electrum addresses and post it here so we can try to verify it.
