Do you have a 'grind'?  Like are you good at drawing?  Good at writing?  Good at Programming?  Good at gaming?

Your best way to earn bitcoin is just like earning cash - you can gain far more bitcoin by offering a good or service for it rather than trying to waste time on stuff like faucets, signature campaigns, HYIP (ponzi scams anyway), and Mining (which is very cost prohibitive and not profitable currently with the price environment)

Otherwise, buying it outright is also effective if you already hold down a day-job.  If you're simply looking for income, period, then consider looking for a remote based job that pays in bitcoin.  My own blog shows jobs posted on craigslist.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach, no scheme that will work for everyone. It all depends on your capacities, inclinations and personal circumstances. In this manner, you should decide for yourself what you are most capable at and stick to this...

Practice makes perfect

I have been around fiat money all my life, but I still don't have too much of that!
No one is going to give you bitcoins for nothing, you will either have to advertise, work, gamble or invest.

If you don't have any bitcoins to start with, and aren't able or willing to buy any, then you will have to advertise or work to get them.
There are quite a few websites with small jobs being paid in Crypto  - this is the only one I have heard about though http://work4crypto.com/
I don't know if it is any good though.

Good luck, remember though, Bitcoin is just money, you still have to earn it if you want more of it!

One easy tip.. I dont think anyone would donate Newbie bitcoin. So, dont put your Bitcoin address in your signature. Put a signature campaign code instead. One of the popular campaign that accept is 777Coin. I have been putting 777Coin code for months and getting paid well.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

This is good advice.  Most want a certain level, but 777 is lower then most on requirement.

As someone said above you will not be getting "donations" but I didnt see you ask.  Look into selling goods or services to make a little coin.

There's a few sites out there for people looking for work and wish to be paid in Bitcoin. Some of the jobs are Bitcoin-related or require certain skills, but you might also find some general things that aren't too difficult:

/r/Jobs4Bitcoins: http://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4bitcoins

Coinality: https://coinality.com/

BitGigs: http://bitgigs.com/

Bittask (not too sure about this one): http://bittask.com/

Buying Bitcoins is the easiest way to get them. Alternatively, you can offer coding service if you have some coding skills or sell exotic items only available at your area at the goods section.

Most of these site paid you very low / required good skill to do it
It better for newbies to join signature campaign

And don't try to "invest" on HYIP / ponzi

When talking about a HYIP, are you referring to somebody else? I don't think I posted anything about that. Unfortunately you seem to be right regarding the job sites that I posted. Hopefully some things will pop up that allow you to essentially work for Bitcoin without needing any skills. I know that some people need text transcribed for their Youtube videos, for example.

the easiest way is to go to cryptothrift.com (or any other marketplace) and sell stuff/skill. Also, check out the services sub here, a signature campaign can generate some nice bitcoin too.

Signature campaign are nice source of bitcoin indeed. But he is just a newbie. He need to be at least full member to start earning something decent.
And than mean 120 Activity tick. Op if you want to earn now from signature campaign you may want to buy additional bitcointalk account. And start earning now. But beware of scams, many accounts on the market are on the verge of ban/right after first/second ban period.

It's always better if someone post a question like that, and give information on their skill levels.

For example, if you say ...." I am entry level IT person with no skills " we could direct you to stuff that require no skills or if you say " I am a IT programmer with advanced skills in ......" we would direct you to sites that address your skills and talents.

It's difficult, when little information is given like this.  Sad

I would not suggest buying account for signature campaign. He or she will have lot of trouble later on. The best way is to level up him or her self and join signature campaign. As I said before, 777Coin is paying a 'decent' amount of Satoshi for post made by Newbie.

The marketplace is the best place to start. Try selling digital /physical goods, or offer a service to be paid in bitcoin. Thats probably the only legit way to earn bitcoin.

Easiest way to get yourself started is to buy some from an exchange. If that's not an option you could have a look through the various bitcoin freelancer sites on this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=985550.0

Also make sure to check the services board, lots of opportunities there to earn some btc:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

there is no safely investment, even signature it's time consuming if you get banned(you lose all btc accumulated), but you can try some high quality faucets, that provide high payout like those with 1k payment
