Quick question - if I were to mine say 10 million shares here, would the account be transferable later, so that I can sell it to someone else who wants my allotted distributed-computing work?

No, that's not allowed.  For legal reasons, accounts cannot be transferred.  Selling your account is a violation of our Terms of Service (the "Loyalty Points are not transferrable" clause).

This weekend our log files got too big and began bogging down the server.

Too popular already, eh?  Wink

Let me tell you, despite your startup/growing pains, your quick response, transparency, and willingness to make up for your problems have earned my loyalty points. Cheesy

Coinlab, could you calculate the estimated hash rate over a period of 5 minutes?
It would be preferable, so i could get an credible reading. As it is it seems a bit pointless.

Keep the good work Wink

Seconded.

A graph of performance over time would be even better

Very much agreed!! I completely understand that there will be bumps along the road with starting something new as this... Thank you for holding up your end!

Getting a few stales today, seen at least 2 scroll by in the last 5 mins, and 9 in about 10mins.

Generally seems to be getting less performance than mtred (until it went down today) over the last few days, although have to say the reject rate is low.

Hi coinlab,

Could you please make a change to your current interface to show the average hash rate over the last 15 minutes instead of the last -.02 seconds? The current interface gives me no idea what the pool thinks my hash rate is.

Thanks,
gigavps

Curious, how is the development coming on ur proprietary software?
I ask because we are getting pretty close to a 2.50$/gh point(if price drops to 7$ or diff gets around 5m or combination of w/e in between)
I noticed stated in OP, the 2.50$/gh will only be redeemable w/ the proprietary software...

Pool performance has been pretty bad today - so bad that I have cut over to 50btc until someone tells me its back up and working

Avg hash rate over 24hours has been about 10% off what it should be in CG miner, and showing even less on coinlabs server:

Yup, pretty bad all day. I am on a backup pool right now and every hour I check on CoinLab, but no luck.
Comm failures galore, GPUs working at 50-60%.

I think the pool performance keep dropping after gigavps most some of the ghz to the pool and the pool may not able to handle it !

Me from Malaysia even worst !

Most of my mining rig has switch over the backup pool !

I went over from BTCGuild to Coinlabs a few days ago (last Thursday I think?) and since then my miners have been sputtering like crazy. My hashrate graph (I'm running BAMT) has turned from a Rothko to a Pollock. And I don't care what your taste in art is, that's just not on. Back to BTCGuild until Coinlabs gets a bit stabler. Great idea, dodgy execution at the moment.

If I've said anything amusing and/or informative and you're feeling generous:

I saw the same issues last night with connections, pool not submitting work fast enough, etc.

On the other hand, the pool has been rock solid at times with the lowest amount of stales I have ever seen.

I have 10+ Gh pointed here and also good to see guys like Giga pointing some power here.

I would urge everyone to stay with it as much as they can, because they really won't be able to figure things out without having a normal load pointed to it.

Chris and Coinlab have been very fair in compensating for performance issues. I would say stick with them and I believe they will make things right. They are in for the long haul.

This is the future of GPU hashing for $$$

I'm running about 65Gh on coinlab currently. I would recommend anyone running on the pool and seeing communication problems to use cgminer and setup a backup pool that you can leak shares to. cgminer is really good at making sure your mining devices are being fully utilized so make sure you have taking advantage of this.

Best,
