Hi All,
I'm starting to play around with crypto currencies just to see how they work. On my Win7 pc I've got wallets for BTC, LTC, Darkcoin and Doge. Each of these wallets has a small amount of each coin. Is there an app that can give me a one page summary of what's in my various wallets? I would also like the app to display the current USD value of each of the various coins. That way I can get a quick summary of my crypto currency position when I do my quarterly financial summary.
Anyone know of any apps like this? I did some googling and didn't find anything. Thanks,
Advait

You can simply use MultiBit. "MultiBit is a secure, lightweight, international Bitcoin wallet for Windows, MacOS and Linux" https://multibit.orgSo you can 2, 3, 30 BTC addresses in one app, stored and ready to use. But one app for many crypto currency in one, did not came out as far as I know.

On my Win7 pc I have the Electrum wallets for my BTC and LTC, I have the Darkcoin wallet and the Doge wallet. I'd love for someone to create an app that allows me to see the summary balances from each of these wallets and the current USD value for each of the coins. That would save me some time when I do my quarterly financial summary. Is that impossible to do? Or pretty easy? I'm not a coder so I can't even guess how hard it would be. Thanks, -Advait

Question is "only" how safe is that one. I don't trust to any wallet that comes up. It isn't a wallet, it is a monitoring app. You don't want to share private key with it and I think no need of address too. Looking at their description, it says we have to type how many coins of an asset is owned.

Question is "only" how safe is that one. I don't trust to any wallet that comes up. Yeah this app isn't really a wallet, so there's no need to worry about trusting them with your private keys. As MZ said, you just enter the amount of coins owned and it calculates the value. Saying that, you'd be right to be concerned if app did function as a wallet, I personally wouldn't trust any android app with my keys. @OP Glad you found what you were looking for.

I made an exact software to show the balances of each address you input, check it out: https://www.btcdlc.com/shop/bitcoin-supermarket/QuickwalletBasically you just enter the addresses you want to keep track of and it will show the balances of it. You will find my app very useful

I installed Cryptonator on my droid and it does the trick for me. I enter in the amount of the various coins and Cryptonator calcs the dollar values.

Later i might consider adding more coins to it like litecoin and such. Also i have another app if you want to keep track of the bitcoin value or statisics, you might wanna check this out then: https://www.btcdlc.com/shop/bitcoin-supermarket/bitcoinstats

If you are running android system and want to see balances of your different cryptocurrency you can try out Universal Bitcoin Wallet. Go to google play and type the keyword. It allows you to own wallets for different cryptos. If you don't have android system perhaps you could try installing bluestacks. I'm sure that would work. Furthermore it uses HD wallets which makes it easy to use

Thanks for the info. Looks very interesting. Currently I want to keep all my coins on my pc. I do daily backups and images so that helps me feel secure. I also daily backup my Android phone, but the thought of keeping all my coin assets in one wallet makes me nervous. It becomes a single point of failure. Thanks,

You can download it from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=900719.msg10377629#msg10377629. It is a wallet. You will have to share private keys with it. OP is looking for a watch-only wallet not real wallet.

At one time I used: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=569924.0Can view miners, and BTC balance without having access to wallet. You could put in request to get other currencies I'm not sure if you will have luck on that though.
