Title: BUBBLE REBRAND IN PROGESS NEW DIRECTION NEW PURPOSE LOCKED
Post by: MakingBubbles on May 01, 2015, 01:04:01 PM
Important
 Moved thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1348538.0
Ive been in school for 6 months now and am doing very well. I've completed my first programming class and I'm learning java. I dint think the original goals are achievable by just one person so I am rebranding to a better much more attainable platform.  I think the community will be pleased to see what I am working on.

I will leave  the thread and work on my new project and in a month or so will open a new thread for the coin as my real account.  The new project Will be much easier to do but no less important. It is my hope that the original goals of this project will come to fruition. I think I will need to prove my worth first.

I've fixed the dl for the wallet

I am making progress and am learning a lot i have been reading about CMU project and intel projects as well the good news is so much work has allready been done. the bad news is i still need to figure out exactly where they left off and what the current state is. this is really going to happen

IMPORTANT :
on aug 20 2015 my acct was hacked and an impostor released malicious code i have since deleted the posts and warned people.

I am a software systems engineering student and bubble is my project. As i learn and grow so will the project. it is not a case of me going to school and needing something to do but quite the contrary. I have a goal and need school to achieve it.  While at this point I am more of a hacker than a coder my aim is to be able to update this to a point where we can achieve 2 primary goals within 24 months.

first goal :
The Bubble Network- within 18 months

The Bubble Network will be the core of the project ,this is the actual nuts and bolts. What it will be is a grid computer capable of High Powered Computing on a massive scale. This however is not the primary focus. while it is a good thing for researchers it is no big deal to the common man. This is however the most important step and can been seen as a major accomplishment.  At the point when finished you will only be able to access the bubble network from a Linux style command terminal.  at this point developers can access the network and begin utilizing it. How we will achieve this is by speeding up block times (miliseconds) and using the blockchain to transmit instructions between nodes. this will not only create a ledger for coin tx but also for all instructions executed in a given time frame (muh-ha ha )

Second Goal- within 2 years

A task oriented fully parallel GUI operating system

This is the real purpose of bubble. An operating system built for parallel systems, user friendly and shiny. This will be very hard and requires task oriented programming. Without breaking processes into tasks it is impossible to get the speedup we are looking for.  The purpose of this is to give access to everyday folks from any device and give them a VPS style environment within the bubble.  Think of it more as a universal desktop for all users.  from there u can utilize other programs designed within the network as if they were running on your own machine.  For example  - say I programmed a clock inside the bubble and you wanted to make an alarm clock you can run my clock within your program and then build from it paying me a tiny fee every time you access my running program. you can then in turn lease this to your customers for slightly more and receive a small profit for your work and i in turn receive a profit for mine  and the user gets an alarm clock that he only pays for when he is using it -- get it?

info
Why cloud computing

As devices grow smaller thier overall computing power diminishes. While this is cool and convienient it leaves little room for real work to be done. Now more often, we outsource this process to giants like amazon or google for a fee and give them total control over our information.  This may not seem like a big problem now but, in the future these companies will be able to control whose ideas and products reach the marketplace.

Task parallelism

Task parallelisms uses parallel processing it is a process which allows for entirely different calculations to be performed on either the same or different sets of data. This requires the decomposition of a task into sub-tasks and then allocating each sub-task to a processor for execution. By this system we can run many applications at one time.

Grid  computing
using many separate machines loosely configured to run as one, we can build the worlds fastest computer

A giant bot network

A botnet is a number of Internet-connected computers communicating with other similar machines in an effort to complete repetitive tasks and objectives. This can be as mundane as keeping control of an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channel, or it could be used to send spam email or participate in distributed denial-of-service attacks. The word botnet is a combination of the words robot and network. The term is usually used with a negative or malicious connotation.

The future depends on a supercomputer being built that can outperform human intellect. Futurists call this "The Singularity" . Once this is achieved we can outsource most of our problems to this super intelligence and it can solve them for us at an accelerated rate. This invention  could benefit all of mankind but, would most likely be sold off to the highest bidder leaving the common man behind. In this scenario the elite solve all the problems of the world and live in a protected bubble, while u and I fight for the scraps.

Bubble?
Bubble aims to solve these problems by using basic human drives (mainly greed) to achieve something remarkable . A Supercomputer comprised of smaller units linked together through the cloud. This de-centalization of computing power will ensure access to everyone for a smaller fee shared amongst its hardware owners. When this project reaches its goals, your Bubble will "stake" for a new currency spendable on the bubble network for cloud access. Users who wish to use the cloud will then have to purchase this currency from you and then feed it back into the network for access. this fee will then be divided up and paid out to "miners" as an increased stake reward. The more miners, the greater the power . The more users , The greater the rewards.
MORE INFO TBA

I'm using one worker very usuall. But sometimes some rents won't connect to this worker so I have a couple of workers.
If rig is not connecting to any worker then I create a ticket to cancell rent.

I'm using one worker very usuall. But sometimes some rents won't connect to this worker so I have a couple of workers.
If rig is not connecting to any worker then I create a ticket to cancell rent.
ok thanks :)
so i'm doing the right things then.
i'll separate my workers, to monitor if my rigs connect or not. but didn't know about the result of finding block

Yes, I'm doing this too, watching in my workers at pool, but sometimes there is no need to watch if rig already mined something before you rent. Usually this rig connecting fine.
When rig has 0 hr/s before rent it can be live after rent or not... Better to watch RPI and history.

Pos reward will be 1000 coins not 1 like advertised, also maturity is 40 confirmations and 6 hours!!!

int64_t nSubsidy = 1000 * COIN; means you get 1000 coins per stake block!

But PoS started at 500th block? So it might be less.

You also need to update the daemon on the vps that has the checkpoint private key.
we had enough forking today lol

i have contacted the host but they are in different timezone it may be  4-6 hrs before i can get the nodes updated ..
you need to control it. use a VPS
its only $5 or $10 man

this will fork alot
you don't have a checkpointing public key means you don't have a checkpointing server
Code:
const std::string CSyncCheckpoint::strMasterPubKey = "";

do you want me to make the checkpointing server for you?
i can give you the public key to put between the ""

and i can host it on my server.

great looks like 1 more fork here in a bit guys

dev better setup that checkpoinitng key asap, we don't need another forking coin this week!

you can use makekeypair command to get a key pair from console, then add the pub key to source, and run your main wallet with: checkpointkey=priv key

BUBBLE is setting a low standard. The Ann is the first impression of a coin and it looks amateur. This coupled with the low price on the exchange does not accurately reflect its value.

C-CEX skipped SIGU being the top volume coin on Yobit for days, then it went straight to trex.

Well very nice strategy you have here. I'm sure by being so meek with your bubble, most can't see the overall plan. Good luck on shaking the weak ones. Should not be too hard. But I tell you if several others held a position like mine right now, Yobit would be bone dry.
I will store my bag for the high hundred thousand sats like they will deserve.

I have actually following version: v1.0.0.0-g32a928e from the op
is that the third wallet ?

Addnode bubble.supernova.cc

DEV....
this is crazy .....do realize what u are trying to do .. u are creating a supercomputer network on the cloud. That's intense .. I like what I see but how realistic is it and it looks like it will be a lengthy process

yes it will be a lengthy process and the end result will be good things for all .. the miners will no longer waste energy rather they will only use IDLE processing for the network ... the real thing will be cloud computing together as 1 massive computer capable of solving anything we dream up..  also a better financial system bassed on growth, resources and balance not profit is just another bonus

this is not really that much of a stretch the whole world is moving in this direction.. what we intend to do is give a common denominator to the process ... keep in mind Bubble is just the asset to stake the main currency into existence .. it is not a currency per se  and will not grow beyond 1 mil in total units.. those ,in the end, will be undependable and will be needed to run the "miners"  which will mine your bubbles and stake the main  currency ( unit x for now) they can be cashed out to unit x but the process destroys bubbles making your competion more powerful

This will bring a new age to us and because of greed people will create a massive brain that can do everything. Imagine if the btc network could do everyday tasks like computing crazy stuff for science and handle the money syatem and drive your car .. this is future talk but these things will come to be

Staking good here. No problems. 42 active connections to network

Bubble , a new kind of asset? hahaha.. good one.  Maybe you meant the bag as asset.

once u understand the full scope of what we aim to achieve you will eat those words

The same problem with the wallet from the op out of sync

looks a way better. IMO

You can hire somebody to create a better design for this coin.

Get someone to do this for you if you need to. You have a great idea. I'm a cloud hypervisor architect with over 8 years experience. I will run with this idea of yours and my luscious branding on my own coin if you lack the desire or necessary aptitude. If you post anything, make sure it is something that you might really be interested in yourself. Otherwise, others might not take you seriously.

I might be able to assist with provisioning after you have procured the hardware. Just get someone to work on your branding and make Bubble seem dead serious. That italic generic font is not cutting it. Make it higher resolution too.

This project has lofty goals , but it's grounded in reality.  This won't take much to achieve because everything needed already exists in the current marketplace. All this will take is a partnership with a hardware manufacturer . To build the units.  Once this happens we will see this become real .

You have intentions on having a top notch offering, so it must be serious. That red symbolizes other cryptos going through your osmosis anon to get clean. I know it looks like shit, but it's a start to give you an idea.

Hi Dev, I was messing for around 5 minutes and came up with this. I'm not asking you to use it, but it's yours if you want it. I just want you to see what I'm trying to convey. You have intentions on having a top notch offering, so it must be serious. That red symbolizes other cryptos going through your osmosis anon to get clean. I know it looks like shit, but it's a start to give you an idea.

Sure buddy here. Maybe you need the original, but there are tons of free software that will give you transparency in a jiff.

It's fucking disgraceful. Going to put down support at 3k. Luckily the dumps weren't big. i will be sure to catch dumps when they occur. If you want to sell then please sell, I don't want my bags to become too big though.

edit: support got dumped into. I am done with supporting this. Will just hold my bag and see what happens.

One day at a time. People are broke now because of all the scams. A low number of coins is not enough to provide support.

1. Fix your branding. I almost did not mine this because of your crappy retro graphics.

2. Consider masternodes. Give people an incentive to hold your coin while you scale up.

3. Mobile staking wallet. Same function as #2.

4. Be more active and let us know what you are doing.

5. The last thing you should be concerned about as a dev is the price, unless you are looking for an exit.

6. Hire more people to join your team.

7. Don't abandon your coin. This is probably the last chance that most will ever take if this turns out to be a sham.

8. Get us on Bittrex. I'm lonely up here hitting a block a minute.

The people over at c-cex are not amused. Your entire coin isn't even worth 500 usd now. My coins will be at 2.5k in case anyone wants to buy them. I am done. Selling at 500 would be giving away my coins for free as there's enough support to catch more than half of all the coins in circulations there.

You need to give people a reason to buy your coin  if you want your coin to fly just having a small amount of coins is not a good reason at all.... look at 42 coin by your logic that coins should be worth 1m btc each

also I can't tell if you are trolling or not with the new logo  ???

best of luck dev please do something with this coin, daily or just regular posts in the forum updating people on how the coin is doing will go along way and will help the coin fly :)

im not trying to hate on your coin im holding my bag and not selling, I just don't get why you promise something in the ann then don't deliver, if you are so worried about the price of the coin like you said in a previous post, a good looking ann with correctly spelled text and a bit of professional photoshop will really help this coin.

You should really have someone edit your posts.

We are currently working behind the scenes and collaborating on something exciting (think plug and play ;)). There is no need to worry. The current price is extremely cheap for what's in store.

This coin and dev is a joke. Based on your posts and graphics, I can only imagine what you are "collaborating on". In the meantime, we'll all just "imagine something that is even plug and play" and "just chill"....all while dumping this sad excuse for a coin.

so we are thinking something like  i5 + systems dedicated with a dynamic governor on pos hashing( in the 5 % range)  the rest of resources get utilized by the cloud ... its  like a Linux shell so you have to dedicate the whole machine to this.  i think this solves major issues im having getting a mask built (its real expensive to build hardware). i think a cap on the amount of bubble u can put into staking is a good idea because it will drive stake holders to buy more gear and grow the cloud

What the developer is talking about does sort of make sense, it may of been worded better but it makes sense.

Effectively everyone in the network is a node , their unused/spare computer power is part of the node/network , with thousands of people connected, thousands of nodes connected and acting effectively like a super computer. With the ability to rent the power of the network to do as you desire.

It would be like connecting a super computer to the internet and allowing people to use parts it's power/processing function to do stuff that they wish to perform. perhaps renting a part of its GPU processes to mine a coin, or renting some of the CPU processes to either mine a coin or provide extra power to gnome research . Or using the hard drive to perform other different functions . But the super computer is made up of thousands of people that are connected to the network all offering their unused processes to be utilized by anyone in the network if they so choose for a specific price.

If the idea can be delivered it's a good idea, it gives the network an intrinsic value. being able to direct fractions of the network power/processing to the specific goals or functions that you wish it to perform .

It gives everyone connected the ability to earn coins by renting out their unused computer processes, allows others to rent that power and direct it in the direction they so choose . It gives the network a real world value , it's not just a currency but a super computer that can perform many thousands of different tasks assigned to it .

The core concept is a good one , and if it can be achieved, and in the future no doubt will likely be achieved anyways then it would serve a purpose and give natural built in value to the network .

If you want to buy a coin that will actually deliver something like that. Buy XAI. XAI has a real developer who works hard on his coin. The link for the XAI thread is in my sig.

I was an original IPO investor into XAI so already know.

It in effect has already been made to a lesser extend but not connected to a crypto currency and still very basic. But it can be made and has been made in the past (similar conceptually)

you guys are so funny you love to hate ..... what if i told u i was working with the developer in an attemp to bring low level programmers in building a shell in linux this  will function as the operating system for bubble it will take over your machine and once it does the read out will be a fancied wallet interface which controls the whole system.. the coin is just in a veg state right now dev dosent like to give much away and is smart enough not to promise things till he is confident its coming together... bubble will be swapped 1:1 a few times as things develop... off exchanges through tor to make sure when the final system is ready  your bubbles will appear out of no where, and the bubbles them self will only by traceable by the sender and both parties will do the exchange through the networks own escrow account ...  basically all records will read that only one account has ever recieved any bubble   and the network destroys its key when the receiver picks up bubble. this actually creates a guarantee that no one will know who owns what bubble..  also bubble will not be transferable off the network the only way u will get them out is to burn them for network credits creating less bubble..  he also has plans to make the network allow u to burn bitcoin for network tokens .....BURNING BITCOIN he said will ensure that current btc hoarders have a place in the bubble network...  so if u can basically help turn a botnet into an operating system, or can help us write some stuff to make bubble  stake out in a new currency   we have a job for u and can pay

Any further progress or did you bail?

Bail it is. Guess that's 1 btc i'll never see again.

The initial ann compared to the one up now is completely different, dev said there would be CONSTANT updates to keep this coin in a permanent bubble.

GOOD JOB DEV, SO MUCH INFO I CAN'T TAKE IT ALL IN AT ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it'll take a while before anything serious happens here.

Everyone accumulating and trying to be as subtle as possible.

I dont think so. I believe its dead. Nothing more to see here. We should all just move on.

There has been very little trading volume on c-cex over the past week, and none today. C-cex will remove BUBBLE if its average daily trading volume falls below 0.2 BTC for 30 days. Without c-cex or another exchange I don't think BUBBLE will catch on.

another dead(

far from it

ever hear of Chapel programming language

roadmap is coming it will outline the steps we will be taking over the coming months to produce :

1:  A custom linux kernel  (for the supercomputer)
( this will be needed for each worker + the master server to distribute work across the network) while linux does support parallel processing there are many dependencies          and code updates  needed to run a MPMD (multiple program multiple data) parallel computer using  a SHARED memory model on a DISTRIBUTED memory machine  incorporating PanFS a parallel file system to allow the entire storage of all machines to be utilized (a revolutionary idea)

2: A custom android\linux  kernel (for developers)
this will be the master client which can give commands the the master server to then distribute work to the workers and receive results.  (some serial processes may run on the device to reduce network overhead, it will be up to the user to define which processes he wishes to run parallel or serial in his program... we are looking at ipython  but it seems its not good enough and we will most likely have to pioneer the Chapel programming language   )

3: a user interface
whats the good of all this if u cant use it? the user interface will be necessary for regular users to access the bubble and use the products / software available.. an example.... say i made a videogame in the bubble instead of compiling it for windows then hoping my users can run it i can allow them to run it directly from the bubble for a fee thereby monetizing my idea and giving my customers direct access to the software from any device.. this could be done with any task even say complex algorithms which depend an data from other programs running in the bubble   this has huge implications

more info on Chapel can be found here :  http://chapel.cray.com/overview.html

3: lots more updates to the bubble code

this is a huge project never attrempted on this scale and has mostly been used in primitive forms by goverments and giant multi nationals please be patient

the final product will basically act as 1 giant computer working on multiple tasks  giving multiple results

keep in mind there is a lot to go over and as i grow my horizons new things pop up

I wish you the best with your project, but you could definitely have handled things a lot better. look friend ive have stated multiple times it will be months before we produce a semi working prototype the first one i built using redhat was a total failure ( it could do only SPMD) so no news there... now i think i might have the knowledge  needed to start working on the operating system i need to allow the cluster to be able to run multiple tasks and output multiple data... so the network will be able to handle all the work given to it from all users

sure  i believe u mean spmd not sdmd

mpmd  is multiple program multiple data   Tasks may execute different programs simultaneously.
spmd is single program multiple data All tasks execute their copy of the same program simultaneously.
SPMD  is the most common form of parallel computing but has limitations on the amount of work u can do at 1 time ultimately wasting resources
in our model we want all users to be able to run their programs on the system at any time using a shared memory model on a distributed memory machine with global memory pool.

the good news is alot of the work has been done allready its just putting everything together ... for instance IPYTHON language supports using the gpu in parallel processes (similar to how gpu miners work) and CHAPEL supports full mpmd arrays so the operating system will by default use these dependencies its just coming up with the code to do it all

i was holding off on this but i'll give a little info...... because we want the rewards system to be fair there will be two ways to produce network credits 1 will be staking bubble (this will be the masternode) the other will be by doing computations on the network like you will be rewarded when your worker completes a task.. the worker reward will be  the money paid by the user to get the work done....the stake reward is how currency is minted into the supply .   so  by these means we hope that we will be the fastest and cheapest supercomputer in the world (the cost of running the network will subsidized by the minting of currency)  this will give us a huge advantage over our competitors  because they will have huge costs where we will just have huge rewards (assuming we have customers to use the supercomputer)

I just know the dev wants to keep the price low so he can collect, and then dump.

Any word on anything? I have a pile of useless new coins I mined over the last few months that have done nothing!
I am sticking with the older more solid coins for now.

where is the dev?

My wallet works good. Staking nicely. Is it to soon to mention a community takeover on this coin?
What would it take for the dev to post something, anything? Been almost a month now

I'm afraid we do need a good dev for a community takeover... I have some basic coding skills in C, but not merely enough to maintain an altcoin...

Community takeover= bag holders dumping on new, unsuspecting people. Shitcoins should just die instead of being passed on to the next sucker.

Yeah, because the 1 thing holding this coin back was the lack of ability for a few to outstake all the others, and take a large % of their stakings.

but now seems as good a time as any to update the op

IMPORTANT :
on aug 20 2015 my acct was hacked and an impostor released malicious code i have since deleted the posts and warned people.

For example  - say I programmed a clock inside the bubble and you wanted to make an alarm clock you can run my clock within your program and then build from it paying me a tiny fee every time you access my running program. you can then in turn lease this to your customers for slightly more and receive a small profit for your work and i in turn receive a profit for mine  and the user gets an alarm clock that he only pays for when he is using it -- get it?

i hope this better outlines the intentions of the bubble project

So, can we say the definitive RIP for this coin?

1. The wallet link is dead even if for what it seems the dev restored the access to his account
2. It doesn't have a huge volume of trade
3. I don't see much activity on this thread...

Anyway if somebody wants to prove me wrong i would be surprised if somebody has a link to the clean wallet (and a conf file of course if needed)
