You can use this forum to arrange exchange of coins with swedish citizens, my first try would be the Skandinavisk subforum. Doesn't look huge but might give you better pointers than some international audience from teh Philipines could provide.

You guys up there have some new exchange coming in a week from today that is on your equivalent of our Nasdaq, so this should be a great option to sell into. However, shame on you for considering to sell.  :P I know what you mean tho.

I don't sell much but when I do sell some profit I sell it a the highest rate, that is buy selling it for cash locally in my home town. It used to be a lot easier and more people was buying but recently it seems not many people want to buy at premium rate lol Localbitcoin is where I set up a cash trade and Bittylicious can also be used for a quick transfer to my bank but don't like to much going to my bank. Localbitcoin would be a good choice if your area lets you OP.

I've used bitcoin-brokers with good success about 2 years ago.  The guy still keeps his thread active with bumps on one of these boards, and the feedback on the thread remains positive from what I've seen.  When I did larger sales in the 2013/2014 juncture timeframe I was exceeding the realistic capacity of that service so I just used Coinbase (and my dedicated Wells Fargo account was subsequently canceled but fortunately it was only after most of my planned sales)  Bitcoin-Brokers seems to go through periods when sellers are either in demand or not in demand which makes sense.

If I need some spending money I'll likely sell through bitcoin-brokers again if possible.  I consider my remaining account at Wells Fargo to be throw-away.  I just keep it open with a minimum balance in order to cost them money since I figure they have to extra reporting requirements on me personally.  My way of hopefully getting even a bit.  It would be a good account to have random people all over the country feeding cash into.

Well, I like LocalBitcoin and if I am really desperate, I would use a exchange.

The problem with using the exchange is all the KYC and AML regulations you have to jump through to get registered and validated, before you can do transactions.

It's so much easier to trade with someone local, if you find them on LocalBitcoin. {A bit more risky, but it works very well, if you find a reliable person}

Start with small amounts, until you form a good relation and trust, and do this in a public setting.

How the hell does that work?
It is not an exchange if it does not accept both buy and sell orders.
Chances are that it is just selling their own coins that they probably mined.
KnC maybe????

Most of the time I just look to spend my btc directly.
You can buy most digital goods in btc. I almost bought an iPad but I was invested in an altcoin which lost 90% of its value. Although it is regaining it slowly now.

I just googles search "buy <product> with bitcoin" and most of the time I can find what i'm looking for.

Look no further than btc-e for all your selling needs, it is not stupidly under price now either they are actually well priced now. Also they have never let me down in over a year and I highly recommend them to anyone including family if they needed somewhere to sell for stated reasons, not a problem in over a year from them and not heard much in the troll box in the way of issues with them. You will also have some fun there while selling if you have humor to sense.

The Kraken is good if you are in the EU because it does SEPA withdrawals which are cheaper than normal wire transfers. If you are dealing exclusively in Euros there is only a tiny withdrawal fee of about 9 cents compared to $20 to $30 withdrawal fee for a wire transfer.

kraken is my exchange of choice. they are very fast with processing cashouts and you have the money in your bank like no other exchange can in such quick fashion.

I sell bitcoins to a PTC site owner who then adds it to my account and I withdraw it via PayPal. Since he sends mass payments, it's the safest way for me and PayPal then transfers it to my bank account.

Title: Re: Where do you sell coins ?
Post by: Xialla on May 12, 2015, 11:05:19 AM
If you are dealing exclusively in Euros..

soo, they are not converting SEPA to dollar once they receive payment and all is processed in Euro? sounds cool to me..:)

Another vote for Kraken, especially if you are in the European SEPA zone. Quick deposits / withdrawals and a solid exchange indeed.

I have always used Localbitcoins, as BTC-e withdrawals are delayed in my place. But LBC is having its own disadvantages, and we can't trust that exchange as they frequently collaborate with the authorities. A few days ago, I received my Bit-X issued Mastercard. Now I can do the withdrawals anonymously, through ATMs.  ;D

I've used Safello (Swedish bitcoin exchange) whenever I need money fast (within 12-24 hours)

If it's not that urgent, usually Bitstamp to benefit from the current EUR/USD exchange rates.

SEPA transfers are only available in Europe at present. If you live anywhere else in the world you have to use the old fashioned wire transfer method which has high transfer fees. The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is a payment-integration initiative of the European Union for simplification of bank transfers denominated in euro.

I think its better to sell your coins on a person than the money exchanger sell it in any website because it will help you to not have transaction fee and also the it will help the buyer bought a coins anonymously and not have any records in any sites.

but it also rise the risk, if you are not dealing with high trusted member, and even than it could be that that account was bought or hacked

also it's not really practical, especially if you can't find someone from your zone, you can lose something in fait conversion

and in the end you need a debit card anyway to receive money from abroad...

read your comment again please. it doesn't make sense. whatever exchange people use, never trust an exchange completely. chinese or european or usa, it has nothing to do with how trustworthy an exchange is.

Sell in trusted and a famous exchanger and you know that is not a scam and your money is safe.

not always, looks at bitstamp and bitfinex they are famous exchange and they were trustable back then but they got hacked, no exchange should be trusted they are subordinated to hackers
But you are sure about that exchange are trusted and have a good services.

good services maybe, but trusted no, my point is that they are being used only because they are the most trusted, but no trusted 100%, and you are in the end to be bound to use them, you have no choice, they are the less worse out there
They are 100% trusted because they not break or put a bad comments on their names for just only to scam you. And my point is, in your country that exchanger is most trusted and 100% trusted because its fame exchanger and your government will notice if that exchanger do a wrong things like scamming.

if they are 100% trusted then why no one leaves more than what you needs to do trading in those exchange? because nothing is 100% trusted, at best it is the most trusted
What you are mean "no one leaves more than what you needs to do trading in those exchange?" i didn't understand.

usually big traders, or everyone with some intelligence, don't hold all his money on exchange, but only those few coins that he need there for trading, otherwise you can't catch the P%D to perform your move quickly enough in the market
So you mean that, people who have or have intelligence or who are have an experience in trading don't hold they coins and they using their coins so that they can use it to grow their coins or make a profit of it.

Well, I like LocalBitcoin and if I am really desperate, I would use a exchange.

The problem with using the exchange is all the KYC and AML regulations you have to jump through to get registered and validated, before you can do transactions.

It's so much easier to trade with someone local, if you find them on LocalBitcoin. {A bit more risky, but it works very well, if you find a reliable person}

Start with small amounts, until you form a good relation and trust, and do this in a public setting.

This, except I sell on LocalBitcoins for the same reasons why I buy the majority of my coins there as well.

I'm a New Zealander and while we have a few exchanges over here, our country lacks any major ones and those exchanges that do exist have markups that don't differ that much from buying from LocalBitcoins. Using overseas exchanges is a bit of a hassle once fees are taken into account and most have minimum deposit/withdrawal limits which far exceed the small amounts which I typically deal with when buying and selling. I've been very happy with buying and selling on LocalBitcoins so far, and since I only trade with those who have a good trading history and lots of positive feedback, my experience has been very positive.

Fees aren't a huge problem. Last month, I sold about $50 USD worth of BTC via LBC. The difference was between the actual price and the price I sold the coins for was probably less than $3 USD.

Not to mention selling on LBC typically requires no proof of ID since the buyer assumes no risk in the transaction.

EDIT: Probably should have mentioned that all of my trades so far have been either online or done via cash deposit at a bank. The latter is also a good way to buy bitcoins without ID requirements.

too bad it's require id for every transaction and every amount, i removed my account there(i let it expire based on their policy), not gonna bother with an exchange tha t can't provide at least partial anonimity(which mean that it will require only your name and nothing else)

if you can connect your fiat bank account with coinbase you can make withdrawals from crypto* to fiat.
*that crypto on coinbase can only be Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin so will will have to exchange into those before going out to fiat.

Buying from the poloniex exchange give you some re liabilities and that’s the most secure exchange to buy bitcoin, bittrex  is also famous nowadays my friends are buying from these two exchanges and they don’t trust in any other as same for me I usually buy from poloniex and sometime from the bittrex also these two are my best choices to buy coins and the coins I bought fro poloniex give a lot to me in past.

You can transfer your Bitcoins to any exchange that allows fiat trades. Are you just trying to trade as in making multiple buys and sells on an exchange to increase your Bitcoins, or are you trying to cash out? If you want to cash out, you will need to use something like Coinbase or localbitcoins to sell to actually get cash out. It also depends on what exchanges are available in your country. If you are based in Sweden, then there may be an exchange locally that you can use.

The most ideal situation right now would be if you could sell them to someone you know in your local area so you can make a trade that way. This is the best and easiest way because if you two do know each other then you can choose really low fees when buying and selling to each other. The next best option is Bitcoin ATM's which are in every major city in the world right now. Check coinatmradar.com

I never sell my coins unless there is some financial cash crunch in my business. Whenever I sell my cryptocoins I usually prefer localbitcoins and some reputed domestic exchanges as I can get my payment directly into my bank account with the lowest fees, unlike the international exchanges. I am optimistic about cryptocurrencies on the larger time scale and hence I rarely sell my coins. To be honest, I have never tried cash or ATM trades so far but I want to try ATM transactions soon.

Although i am also trying my best to continue holding my bitcoin, but whenever i feel the need then in previous time i was using Urdubit exchange for selling my bitcoin directly to my local currency, but now as our government banned such exchanges therefore now i am using localbitcoin, but still i am not felling any difficulties while selling my bitcoins using local bitcoin.

According to my analysis, the bitcoin price will continue to increase, so this time you should not sell. You can see that the market is fluctuating continuously and bitcoin prices are constantly adjusting. Therefore, this time is very sensitive, if bitcoin prices pass the $ 7000 threshold will uptrend if the drop to $ 6000 level will continue down trend. Therefore, you need to follow bitcoin prices when trading.

There are many exchange sites where you can sell your bitcoin or altcoin depending on what altcoin you are holding and on which site it has been listed after the launch and its not an tedious process to sell your coins and if you are new and have any doubts that you can always watch videos on youtube before getting into it and it will help you in the best possible way.

I sell my coins in an exchange but sometime i prefer peer to peer transfer or mode of transaction because i don't want to dump it on the market so i am just getting into peer to peer and transferring it to their wallet because it is a win-win situation since the buyer will not going to worry about the fees of the exchange and so on.

You can try selling cryptos to fiat using Gemini and Coinbase. Coinabse is the most popular of the all and is going to launch institutional trading desk soon. Moreover, Bittrex is also going to bring crypto to fiat trading option. They are still in testing phase and once verified, they will brink crypto-fiat pairs. I am eagerly waiting for Bittrex fiat exchange as it has decent volume and after the arrival of such pairs, volume is likely to increase.

However, the mentioned exchange can be use for EU though but it will be better if you use Ivykoin (http://www.ivykoin.com/).

I sold my coins on Bittrex/Binance & cex.io

Exchanges are working better for you which are providing path for you to sell out your holding coins. Once you sell on nay exchange then it can not be undone so keep great care in making decisions according to the market situations.

Binance and Bittrex are best rated exchanges through which you can sell out anytime as it is internet so you can use this service anytime 24 hours. Remember that when you sell it should be a price higher than your buying price in order to make profit.

I mean not all the trading sites would have the alt-coin that we are holding for example some new alt-coins wouldn't really be in the well known trading sites.

You can use any exchange but just choose those exchange that has large volume, for example you have particular coin and that coin on their exchange is very low volume then it will also affected the price, there are few people selling/buying that coins. So ,better choose those exchange that has large volume, you can check it in www.coinmarketcap.com .

I think I will not sell a lot of coins but when I sold some coins, I sold them in the highest price, and bought or sold them for cash locally in my hometown. A few years ago it was much easier and more people were buying but recently it looked  there are not many people who want to buy at a higher price. Localbitcoin is where I use cash trading and Bittylicious can also be used for fast transfers to my transaction but I use Local bitcoin as a good choice in selling.

That differ form person to person. Actually such sort of choices are always depending upon what a person thinks of trading and how it takes it along the way. Some people like one thing and some like the other. So don’t just get into this discussion that what is the most suitable thing and how can we get best thing. Because it might be best thing for you but worst for many others.

Reason is, you are done with your patience and you handled it so amazingly and now you are looking for your profit and result, and if this thing just gets ruined, you would be a big loser. That is also a strategy that can pay off in the end. You are actually holding the portfolio for green market and this will actually maximize your profit but you would still have to sell them when the market is green. Better do research about the easiest and efficient way to sell your coins. Besides, since you are not selling right now and the market is down, you can rather buy and hold more to get what you have been questing for.

I haven't sold yet but my  I know people who did this and some of them told about some special exhanges, others sold to their friends or people on the Internet, however, you should be careful not to face some scam scheme
Yes! We should be careful! I believe to special services which allowed me to exchange with people

which ones ?
https://beta.streamdesk.io/dashboard
Nice service - it is uninique - they are only at the ico period, but they have alredy launched beta - and it work
Selling of coins is not a problem and this means that you are new here if you are asking about the way to sell coins right. So you do not have to worry about it and just follow the best recommended exchanges which are always available on internet. Search out best exchanges like Binance, Bittrex and Coinbase which are the most suggested exchanges and highly rated so you can easily sell out there by creating account first.

I sold my coins on Bittrex/Binance & cex.io

I rely just two exchanges, one is no doubt Binance and other is Okpay in my country. There are thousands of exchanges in the world but do not trust any anonymous exchange because many of them are scams and will ran away with your money. Binance is one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanger and most people use it for their transactions.

Yes I agree on that we need to sell it through some exchanger to avoid being victimize by scammer. We cannot really sell it directly to the person specially to the person that we don't even know and see their faces. Because there are so many scammer on the feild and if we don't take care of our coin maybe we will loss.

Why is there no sale of coins with Fiat, it's a local exchanger where you live right? I'm not from Swedish so I don't know where the exchanger is for you, maybe localbitcoins.com can help you if you still can't find what you're looking for. There are many ways to sell your coins but selling decision is very important and I think you can get more profit if you wait and hold it for some more time but this is only possible if you are a person who believes in patience. You can place your coins on your exchange account and can simply sell it as we have exchanges like Binance and Bittrex etc which are best exchanges in the world.

many exchanges are called by everyone in this thread such as, etherdelta, hitbtc, binance, etc. I just add that you can try all the redemption places and prove which is safe, the transaction time, transaction fees, and other factors, all places exchange I think it has developed so they compete in the facilities and convenience of the merchants, but if you are given an exchange link you should not open it because there are many wallet hackers now, increasing the security of your wallet privacy from hacker attacks

Why would you have to sell your tokens ? You should hodl your coins for the next bull run.  No matter how long it takes, just HODL these as an investor and don't sell anything!

We knows this is an old topic over a 3 years passed, so maybe theres only a few crypto exchanges on that day and hard to find where do we going to sell our coins we have. And this time there are a lot of exchanges and one of my favorite is binance where as a big volume and easy to use for buying selling coins.

Where do you sell your coins ? i use a swedish Exchange to BUY coins, but they don't take sell orders lol.

Maybe Exchange Swedish is an exchange account that moves specifically in the trade sector, so he ignores features which have been considered important, namely sell orders. Given the cryptocurrency condition which cannot be used legally in many countries this feature should be applied to their account as the main feature.
Indeed, sometimes Exchange which's too monotonous to 'just sell' can make it difficult for us especially when we are stuck in financial problems because when we want to sell it, we must transfer it first, to an account that has a 'sell orders' feature. I think it's really ridiculous before our coins become money they've cut it.

It depends which coin is listed on which crypto exchange, if any coin is listed on more than one exchange then you should the best one like Binance, I have used Kucoin, HitBTC, Poloneix, Yobit, Bibox, although I did not find any issue with any of these exchanges still I prefer Binance, its platform, options are easy to use , even mobile is too good to use, one issue I find with Hitbtc exchange is they only allow to sell round figures, I hope this helps if your question was related to it.

In which country would you sell your electronic money on the electronic money trading platform in that country? The value of a penny in each country is not the same depending on the purchasing power of the market and the number of investors. Which currency is high value, the trade is more favorable.

Each coin will be listed on different exchanges which we can not able to sell them on one exchange. For you fiat currency you need to convert them in your local exchange which makes you money in fiat currency. Most of the crypto exchanges don't have a direct relationship with your local currency so you need to find a local exchange for exchange cryptos.

It depends upon the coin I have because I cannot exchange my coin at any exchange except for bitcoin or ethereum. Almost all coins have their own place where they want to be listed. Well, IDEX also give freelisting on coin but I rather choose centralized exchange because the price becomes stable once it is list in centralized exchange.

Bitterx and poloniex are the best places but for now I use the Binance exchanges right now because it gives us the most satisfactory result apart from it ether delta is good but according to me it is not good to trust blindly as I trust bitterx because using ether delta will leak our private key for it we will have to type our private key and it will remain back on the system, so we have plenty of options.

Basically, what you need to do is find a trading site where users register and transact by way of selling or buying coins. There are many trading sites of different popularity available to lodge your coins in and trade them for value. There are some that are available per country or locality, an example of which is coins.ph, which is available in the Philippines. However, the transactions and value of the coin you are eyeing to buy may depend on the discretion of the people who are selling or buying them based also on the status of the market.

I sell my coins depending on the exchange, there are coins that I have, but if the coins are still only listed on a few exchanges which include small volumes, I will wait for the coins to be listed in the larger trading exchanges.
because when the coin that I hold is already entered in the stock that has a large trading volume will be able to increase the price even higher.

That's right, it is just a matter of being patient but somehow it takes years to be listed in big exchanges that could result into become impatient and sell it especially when we are in needs of money.
I openly do selling of my coins when it is already listed on the market exchange cause it mostly dumps in few hours especially from bounty rewards.

Selling is not a problem earning is a problem. Anyway if you want to sell your coins, it is right that you can sell your tokens in that exchange where it is listed. If your tokens have priced and you want to sell them it is better to convert them into bitcoin and then sell it. By this way you will find buyers easily and comfortable and you will have a record of your transactions.

Yeah it is great idea. if you have bitcoin already then selling your coins is no problem, but you didn’t tell which coins do you want to sell. If you have bitcoin for sale then you do not need any particular exchange. You can sell it anywhere you want. But if you want to sell in these days, I suggest holding because the price is low and you may lose your money.

I have some experience with coins.ph and I cannot think of any other outfit in any other space who are as helpful and responsive as these guys.  Filipinos are super-lucky to have such an option.

My sense of things is that because the Philippines economy is so powered by global remittances, the government is at least ambivalent to their operation.  I sure hope for The Philippines sake that the multi-national banks are not able to pressure Duterte into harassing them out of business or screwing up their services.  Thankfully he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who is easily pressured by these scum.  I'm sure that that is why they hate his guts.

I prefer popular markets and it is not a decentralized market that requires private key input. I prioritize the volume and don't immediately sell it, at least see the situation to stay traded first before finally taking further advantage. Many markets with large volumes and if indeed campaign coins have not been registered in popular markets, then I will wait patiently.

Still it will be a problem if you are using the localbitcoin.com to sell your bitcoin where cryptos are illegal when you are cashing out huge amount or cashing out in regular intervals because banks will be watching the transaction and will reported to the governments when they found suspicious about crypt trading on your accout because LBC traders maybe on their watchlist so make sure you are not facing any legal issues from this.

There's no plan to sell my coins for the moment and as the latest happenings prevented me to do that since price wasn't in good condition. That's merely a great dump ever and if I have to compare it with last year's scenario it has a huge difference in terms of volatility. Selling maybe was the last options when the cryptocurrency economy will become profitable enough to increase at a pumping price, but for now I prefer being calm and wait for that perfect time.

Currently, I'm using bitsgap since I can easily see the price differences from major exchanges. The platform helpful service specially when you are a short term trader. I like that its still free trial from now until early of next year. You should consider it also, so far I'm using it with no problem. Since the platform doesn't hold any coin, its good to transfer it to your own wallet after trading, this gives you more security and full control of your fund. Personally I use Hodler wallet after trading this gives me tge simplest way of storing funds.

Where do you sell your coins ? i use a swedish Exchange to BUY coins, but they don't take sell orders lol.
thought it would be good to know a few sites if the big day to sell comes hehe

It depends on the coin that you want to trade but yes it should start at something from fiat like btc or eth in you official or popular exchange for crypto. Then from btc or eth you buy the token that you want.

I am a beginner and absolutely do not understand how to work on the stock exchanges. But one of my friends advised me to the Velvet.exchange site, and everything became possible thanks to the training materials and the demonstration mode that is on this site. After reviewing other popular exchanges, I found many benefits with Velvet.exchange and realized that he was the best.
