This coin looks pretty interesting for sure :) Wish I would've heard of it sooner to mine but I'll look for some dumps to happen into some lower buys but definitely looks good so far :)

This is one of my favorite new coins. Masternodes and staking work great, the POS reward schedule is fun and fair, and it's exclusively (for now) trading on Bleutrade, which I hope gives that exchange some well-deserved visibility.

Actually it's also listed on Yobit now as well :) I just noticed that and it's trading around 4k a coin

This coin has no fast droping value as another POW/POS/MN coins.

I wanted to (24 hours long buy order) buy at 2001 sat but someone dumped only to 2002.  :P

Mining is hard now. Too many miners. I´m waiting for block 9000 for bigger rewards.

Im new with nodes but had this one running fine and had 6 MN transactions. Then my node was kicked. When I try to restart the node it says "could not allocate vin for collateral address" Don't make sense it was running fine before. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Do you have stake=0 in the conf file?

It is hapenning at coins with MN as well. There are too many masternodes and not enough ordinary nodes.

I think theres about 22 masternodes.

yea it says 0 but it has staking weight now too didn't notice that before. It was working fine but now I cant get it to start. It just throws up that one message.

I think it is more profitable to just stake, now.

Try change masternode=0... in you conf.
Restart wallet.

Create a new MN address...copy config...send collateral... close wallet...(pick as many addnodes as you can in your conf file)


change masternode=1

run wallet again... start MN

I usually compile wallets with GUI or on windows, but I just tried to build this real quick on Lubuntu (mistake?) and compile error happened not finding a header file, the libsepc256k1 being the file not found, tried to sudo apt-get it. I don't know what it is really, what do?

I will say that Fade's staking like a champ!

I'm also thinking that simply staking is getting higher payouts than running a masternode.  I could be wrong on that.  How many coins are people getting each day running a masternode?

I may be wrong but I would assume that would mean 50% of the reward would go to a masternode right? I think anyways don't quote me on that but I think that is the way most masternodes have run in the past :)

DRK/Dash whatever you want to call it is just a modified version of coinjoin in the first place.  All these masternode coins are pulling the code from there so I assume the reference made by the dev to it in the original ANN is simply a reference to that.

I would still like to know what the masternode payouts are in a 24 hour period.  Anybody?  Just with staking I'm getting about 240 coins in a 24 hour period.  I have 7,787 coins staking.  Are masternodes getting more?

At the current moment there are 18 masternodes.   
With about 1400 block per day at 20 fade per block.
Half goes to pos and half goes to masternodes.

So.  Masternodes have about 14,400 Fade between all masternodes.

with 18 masternodes on the network each one is receiving about 800 Fade per day. 

I was going to answer his question. Did I read your code wrong? It shows a target time of 69 seconds (I think. May be reading it wrong), which yields about 1250 blocks per day. If he jumped in and got the 19th masternode, it would yield about 660 coins. Still more than he is getting.

I get 30-40 an hour. If I didn't have to keep restarting the MN I might get more. This is the first node Ive run and other than disconnects I like it better than regular staking. Is there a way to keep the MN from disconnecting every 30-60 minutes?

This.  Masternodes constantly disconnect.  If I don't babysit mine, it disconnects.  I have the bulk of my coins staking simply because of this.

Does anybody know if there is a rich list available? Does not look like anyone is selling much.

There appears to be an error in the instructions for a masternode. In the conf file, the line should be staking=0 instead of staking=1. If the staking is not shut off, every time one hits a stake(and not a masternode payment), it messes with the coinage and one has to redo the masternode. I am not sure if this is your problem; however, since I am not running a MN at the moment.

The block explorer that was chosen is just about the cheapest on the market so no rich list as yet

I'm still here  :)    Work has been a little crazy the past few days.   We have a bunch of servers that went down in our datacenter.   Updates are coming.  By this weekend everything will be posted and a clear picture of Fade's future will be shown.

Their didn't need to be a pump for him to dump, there was almost 1.5BTC worth dumped on the buy orders from the start when there wasn't many coins, I wonder who that could of been ::)

Fade is darker than dark.  It's so dark, no development can be seen, no roadmap can be seen, no dev can be seen.  Nothing promising can escape from the weight of its darkness.  It's like peering into a deep dark black hole.  So very dark.

Next time I should just take my $75, place directly into toilet, and flush repeatedly.

If this is truly a scam, I can't say I will ever invest in anything again except btc. JK. It was fun mining anything  and for a couple days I actually felt good about this one. Anythings possible. I want a dev who will at least say hello. That way, if the network breaks down or there is some kind of issue on down the line, we know someone will try and fix it. Personally, i do not need a roadmap. Many of the potential promised features, I will never use anyway. And I know it would be a miracle if this coin will ever get mass adoption.

You sir are correct.  It's become so cliched anymore to have a roadmap, of which everyone knows won't get completed.  The only roadmap that got completed in a very short period of time was Crave's.  Its first roadmap anyway.  Would just like a dev that posts once a day to say hey, still here and working on stuff, and keeps people from freaking out.  Roadmaps with dates are probably a bad idea anyway because if you don't meet those dates then people will be scared off.  But IDK.  Maybe I'll just try to make small gains over time on coins that have been around for months, have active dev teams and active communities, and just try to buy low sell high again and again and again.  It's harder, and I might just lose my money just like I might do on FADE, but at least I lose my money because of my own trading skills, or lack thereof, and not because I fell for another clone where dev disappears.  Too early to tell though if that's what's happening with FADE.  I really hope not.

Yeah pretty cold out here when devs are scamming for 1.5 btc profit if that's the case. And if not, why even have a launch if you can't even support it within its first week of infancy? Even if the dev had a family emergency, this is no excuse for not taking 30 seconds to mention it so that we might be well wishers in his absence. At the moment i wouldnt worry about the situation.. everything works, still 25 nodes running... not that bad for a 'dead'Coin.

I guess this can be both a blessing and a curse. Although it is a bit of a joking pun now, The branding is actually cool. Would be a shame to let it go to waste.

We all know it's not. That's why nobody is dumping. Funny thing is there was 10k fade dump within 30 minutes of the devs last logon. If he does not want to support his coin, I will gladly integrate it with my upcoming professional project. And If I don't step in, somebody else will. There is just too much potential here. I know the dev is very intelligent. He will come back. If not, we will be ok.

If we don't hear from the dev by this Saturday, lets talk about moving forward as a new community. I just picked up several pertinent TLD's. Be patient and keep on staking in the mean time.

We are waiting for him to show, but cannot guarantee his return. We are fine thuough. This coin is barely a week old. If you are going to sell on yobit, I would not just dump into the buys. That would place your current valuation of fade at a ~6 btc market cap. I would just stake my coins.

yes, this coin just needs a little dedication and competent dev to be a great coin. spec. are awsome, masternodes running great, good incentive to hold. someone (maybe you Viecoin??) should use the current situation and make something off it.

Oh trust me, we will be in good hands. I just aquired all fadecoin TLD's and cfade as well (com,net,org etc). I have my own project (not viecoin), that may help fade become a game changer. Real fade drought.

Well, as soon as I have 5000 coins, I will redistribute 1000 coins to someone else. I'm only interested I keeping one masternode running because it is a pain in the butt to get more than one running. I might as well give the excess coins a good home where they can thrive and multiply.  Please don't abuse my coins and panic dump them.

I'd bet anything this was launched by the darkcrave dev.  It's this Josheph Stuhlman prick.  He was shilling for both coins on twitter.  FADE was ninja launched at cryptocointalk right as BCT initially had it's outage.  There was no pool and crazy low difficulty for quite a while.  I was going to solomine some, but I had a massive brain fart and totally forgot how to do it!  I did mine some as soon as a pool popped up though.

If you have something cooked up for it Viecoin, you may as well take it over because I highly doubt this guy is coming back.

1. Possible re branding to my upcoming project Vibranium aka XVI http://www.vibranium.org/ (this is a rough draft people be easy lol). I think this idea has the best potential with premium branding to get us on Bittrex and has added value.

2. Create Vibranium as it's own coin with community given parameters. And only allow Vibranium to be purchased with Fade or by burning Fade, creating buying pressure for Fade.

3. Keep Fade as the name.

4. Use Viecoin ( I have all TLD's  for this as well.)

5. Open to suggestions.

Either way looks like the max fade supply is around 4 billion. I don't agree with that amount, even if it takes several hundred years to get there. We also need to fix the MN payment system.

Another thing. I will need as much help as I can get. I work 8-10 hours a day as a Hypervisor Architect/ Systems Admin, so I still need time to spend with my girlfriend lol. I'm in my 30's though so I'm mature and have our best interest in mind.

Price swings could stabilize from now on, this only needs active dev team and could shoot thru the roof.

Have it at!  This coin is going nowhere but down unless someone steps up to do something with it.  Seeing as you are the only one who is raising your hand, I'll go along with whatever you decide to do with it.  Rebrand probably is not a bad idea as it has the stink of scamcoin on it's current name now.  The masternodes are constantly disconnecting as you are aware so fixing that issue would be a top priority.  I see you had intended for Vibranium to be a rare coin.  As we currently are under 700k FADE, I'd consider it rare.  It is currently producing 8640 new coins a day though so it won't remain that way for too long.  I'd say just halve the reward ever month until settling at something tiny like 0.1 for the rest of its life.

Yep that's the harsh reality lately and one of the main reasons I've gone back to the basic coins now :) Nothing but good ol' fashioned altcoins with good communities still and Devs who are still around :)

We have code auditors and we will question the dev on his intentions and why he thinks his clone will set him apart. SuperNETRadio@gmail.com, send request here and we will set something up. If he does not do this you know something is up from the get go because why wouldn't a dev want this kind of PR for his project for free ? If he has good intent he would have no issues doing it.

well people are not willing to take higher risk considering there was no development yet other than standard stuff. note: standard stuff that works pretty well actually, don't know ppl complain about masternodes getting disconnected but few of mine are working like a swiss clock.  ;D
i am sure interest will pick up as you start implementing cool features into fade, so will the price. this coin is a virgin, potential is great. GL btw. i will be around to support you the way i can.

Ya sorry, but the whole hype of Crave has simmered quite a bit.  If this coin was launched 1 1/2 months ago and then abandoned, I could see it really taking off.  There are SOOOOOO many Crave clones it's not even funny.  Most have already failed.  I'm holding my nearly 10,000 FADE, and staking, but I'm being realistic in saying that I just don't see this one going anywhere if the only thing it's going to be is another Crave clone.  Even with a roadmap, anon development, it'll just be a minor pump and dump because people will be onto the next hype coin promising new things other than anon.  People will dump once they get their investment back, and that'll be the end of it.  Sorry to kill anyone's "dreams", but I've seen this happen to so many other coins in the past year it's really not even funny anymore.  Dev disappears, community takeover, minor price bump, people dump to get out, and coin fade's away.  Really, pun not intended there.  Not to sound like a dick, but the only reason I haven't sold yet is I would only get 20% of my investment back, and really, what's the point of that?  In hindsight I wish I hadn't bought this one because by the time this coin came out, there were literally like 30 Crave clones that had already failed.  Just a bad decision on my part, and no point in this one.  I'm REALLY hoping I'm wrong on this.  Really hoping.  We shall see.

This is an obvious Crave clone in the worst sense. Like multiple sloppy copy overs. I don't intend for it to stay this way though. Hopefully it will work out without having to do a full swap.
