Getting Started
Before you can star you have to open a free account! On the home page simply enter your email address and once you’re done, a confirmation email will be sent to the address you provided together with your new account login details. If you don’t immediately receive this email from BidyBit, then check your Spam folder to ensure that it wasn’t mistakenly identified or blocked. We recommend you to add us to your safe senders list (noreply@bidybit.com, support@bidybit.com) in order to avoid future confusion.

Buying Bids
Click on the big green “Deposit” button on the main page of your user panel, a window will slide down, with the instructions on how to fill up your account. We are accepting bitcoin as deposit option. Remember, when depositing to your account you are really buying the right to place bids and that each bid is worth depending on the slot you are bidding on at the exact moment of the bid. The price is shown at the bottom of every bidding block.


Bidding
Simply click the “bid now” button on the corresponding Jackpot slot you wish to bid on (at homepage of bidybit). Your bid will be recorded and your name will show up as the highest bidder. The corresponding amount of each bid you place gets credited to the Jackpot amount you are able to win.
For example, if the Jackpot is $100, and price for each bid is 1 cent, so each bid you make instantly gets credited to the total amount of what you can win at that Jackpot! So everyone who bids, contributes to the amount. Isn’t that awesome? More for you to win!
Each time you’re outbid by another user, you’ll need to manually click the “bid now” button again if you wish to guarantee that you’ll be the leader and win the grand Jackpot!

To those who ask if this is a ponzi. It most definitely is not. What yo see is what yo get.
We dont take money at any part of the site, only at the withdraw section. As other cent auction sites take percentage for themselves from each game slot directly, we believe that it is more accurate to take it at the end of the game(withdraw step), as you always can know exactly what we get and what yo get, and that this amount wont be hidden or changed as if it would be taken directly from auction slot.

So this is 0% BidyBit fault.
Our system is working correctly and the time your account balance will be credited , depends on Blockchain. We do believe that it should work normally at any moment now. Please be patient.

Graphical design of the BidyBit is indeed professional and well done, but I have no idea about technicalities behind gambling, processing payments and deposits.
If you read ndnhc posts you can see deposits are not always credited and there are some problems with it at this moment. I would rather wait and see what is going on there for now.

I think 10% aren't that good as well, maybe there should be a maximum fee because at some BTC amount it gets huge.

But I think in the long run this is quite small because it gets only charged when you withdraw and not while playing (dice sites charge about 1% house edge on every single bet!)

So while you are playing the site owners have no benefit from you because the amount of all bets will be won by a user.

We do still have some bugs to fix + our system got a bit overloaded tonight and we most definitely need to fix it fast for normal gaming experience.

I had cashed out everything before. Can you take say 1% of the jackpot win instead of the 10% withdrawal fee?

For now it is as is, but as i mentioned before, in time as BidyBit progresses this fee will be lowered . You are still able to take home Huge Jackpots even with the house fee of 10%, the game model is quite different than any other bitcoin game currently out there, so based on our calculations this is really low fee, even compared to non btc auction sites ,  who take not less than 15% on each bid.

Any single-player game can be made provably fair by merely utilizing a source of randomness that is unknown to the house at the time the outcome of the game is determined, but it's a lot different when it comes to massive live multiplayer games.
By that i mean, that the term "Provably fair" is not what you may think and you cant apply it to our game because the game is different in type than dice or casino games. This is more auction and skill than luck game.

We have done our best to make this game as fair as possible.
We are still working on adding more statistics, details and logs for users to check.
Plus we do constant work on site security so it wont be hacked from outside.

Yes it could be possible but that would ruin the fun and the whole point of this game. It would be risky for us to do so as if we loose for example on a game that we would play on, that means that we didnt gain extra but lost a lot. These are problems that come from blockchain API. We are currently looking in to alternatives, but there are not many.
Usually blockchain API is working perfectly , sometimes it just get's these bad days.

i think you don't got the point... the withdraw is working... the problem is you allowing withdraw from unconfirmed transaction... i'll give you a exemple:

Address A - Random user
Address B - Bidybit
Address C - Me

Address A send to Address B with low fee (unconfirmed)

Address C ask for withdraw - Address B use unconfirmed transaction from A to pay C... so it will be unconfirmed too

Timer seconds are going down, jackpot amounts up.
Be the last bidder and wait for the timer to drop to 0, and claim the Jackpot!

I just had an animation bug where the timers of all the jackpots were going upward from about 30 seconds  ???

After I reloaded the website the timer went back to their normal time and were going downward again.

I really would like to know what caused this display bug.

We have noticed this bug too.
We are working on it, so it doesn't show up like that.
But as you said, when you reloaded the page it went back to normal.

As this service (API) is provided by blockchain then it is they're fault that the deposits delay, as recently they are experiencing these delays  from time to time but not always.
So when blockchain unlags the money will be forwarded and it will trigger our site and your deposit will be credited.

Stop using blockchain.info as your API.. There's alot of other free bitcoin api out there. To name a few:

OR, you can host your own light wallet using coinb.in.

Yes, we can see now that blockchain API delays almost every fifth deposit.
We do apologize again to you all, as this ruins the game if you have to wait for unknown period of time to be credited.

a) someone place a bid right after yours , making it look like 20 sec added to the timer.

Please right now take the site down and stop using blockchain receive payment api. It doesn't work some of the time and it gives huge delay for processing. Once it took 30 confirmations for me. Also it sends double requests sometimes and sends the wrong information.

I clicked on the "Bid Now and it was Post back() and it went freeze for almost 30 seconds and then came up being Responsive" , I guess if it was Internet Problem or server side Fault.

I'd like to report a bug on the site, in which it was used against me, and lost about 0.2 btc. My username is chipsdelight.

Bug:
-Timer doesn't add additional time when someone bets as soon (split second) as another bidder places their bet.

To Reproduce:
Legends: PlayerA = 1st player, PlayerB = 2nd Player, Game1 = the lowest game which has the initial jackpot of $0.01.

1. Game1 started to countdown.. PlayerA initially bids on Game1, making him the highest Bidder.
2. Game1 started the last 10seconds count. PlayerA is focused on winning the game, he is ready to click the bid button as soon as somone else bids against him.
3. Game1 started the last 5seconds, PlayerB came and bid. Timer went up to about 11seconds, and PlayerA immediately clicks the bid button and outbid PlayerB, BUT timer did not add and stayed 11seconds and counting.
4. PlayerB got confused so he bids again at 5seconds mark, and the same thing happened, PlayerA immediately bids after him and timer just stayed 11seconds.
5. PlayerB realized the trick, so he bids as fast as he can as soon as he gets outbid by PlayerA.
6. Down to 7seconds mark, We see PlayerA bidding as soon as PlayerB bids, and vice-versa. And the Timer just keeps counting down to Zero without adding additional time every bet.
7. PlayerB loses since he was not fast enough to click Bid and was afraid to bid against himself.

Probable solution/s:

> Deny bets from a player if he is already the highest bidder. Bidding multiple times against yourself doesn't give any benefits since bid cost doesn't increase every bet, you are just adding to the jackpot-pot who can be stolen from you with just a single bet.

>Limit a player from bidding against someone by about 0.5 seconds, enough for the server to update the timer.

Currently this is on purpose and not a bug. So if many players would be playing at the same time, and everyone clicks at the same time, the timer would jump (count of players) x 10 sec. So it would be hard to reach 0 at any point.
So use this as your own strategy.
We will look in to other options while we progress, but currently this is not a bad thing but better for our players.

You misunderstood me, yes i know that the timer will jump when someone bets.. but the bug i was referring was, if two people bets almost at same time, outbetting each other,  the timer gets bugged and doesn't jump.

That's correct and that's for purpose as i said. So the game would be more enjoyable.
The correct answer for you would be.
If two or more users do a bid at the same time in time interval not longer than (1 second =1000 milliseconds)  , then the timer will add seconds only for the first bidder. And if in the next second someone else will bid, then it will be added again. This is so that timer doesn't bug and it actually doesn't change the gaming experience for you as a player. It's just the way we have thought out the system to work. :)

There is no limit for bidding. Each bid costs the amount shown on the corresponding game slot, so every time you click "bid now" button, the amount will be deducted from your balance and added to the Jackpot amount of that game.
And you don't have to bid straight away or be the first bidder. You can join in any game at any time and try to outbid others to get the jackpot, even if you made only one bid.
The point is to be the last one, when the timer drops to "0"

There's just one problem I have with this: there's no incentive to be the first bidder, because you won't gain anything except for your own money.

That is not correct. If you check the game site, there are 4 blocks and each of them shows jackpot amount at the top. So that means that just by one bid even if you are the only one, you can win the jackpot. For example first block has the jackpot of 2 cents and bid costs 1 cent. So if you bid and even if you are the only one and the timer drops to 0, that means that you win the whole amount. Each block has different jackpots and different bid costs.
So if you are the only bidder then thats even better for you, because you double your coins without a fight and win twice the amount of your bet ;)

Users deposit a small amount of bitcoins into your site.
They bid on all of the jackpots when there are a lack of players.
Eventually by doing this they can start raking in profits and even if new players come in, from their old winnings, they will just place more for free, without having any risk of their original deposit.

Pretty much within 48 hours you can make:

0.00171 BTC * 94.42 (0.508333... hrs) = 0.16146885
0.00342 BTC * 44.3 (1.08333... hrs) = 0.15153230

The rich get richer. I keep seeing the same people betting, and I have no chance because I have no idea how much they've already gained from this. You can't possibly make any profit with 10% withdrawal free with this amount of free cash, and although you may have an Advertising Budget, I don't think you can afford 2.5 BTC every week (about 600 USD)

Not true always, if there are many bidders it takes time and strategy to outbid others.
You can even always be the one who waits in the background while others go in to a bidding war,
and jump out with your one bid at the right moment, and there might be the possibility for you
to be the last bidder and claim the Jackpot.

Other do no't know your actual account balance, the odds for every player stay the same no matter what balance you have,
so even if someone has $5 on balance and you have only $1, the other person doesn't know that and even tho he has more, you don't know that too, so who will win? No the riches but the strongest and the one who will give up thinking that the other has more. ;)

I agree, I've played here with a dollar and a 50 cents to test days ago and just lost it all as expected. You'll really need a lot of money to win this game. This is a rich man's game, sad but true indeed :l

I found a minor bug: the low roller's game (most left) is was frozen at 0...
I try clicking 'bid' and it says "game not found or has ended".
Then i tried refreshing the page (F5) and it was still frozen at 0.

Edit: nvm the freeze cleared... the winnerboard shows my name... all is good :) It is only a small inconvenience to the user

Sorry but we do not know these sites you are mentioning.
As for the $5/24h you mentioned, then yes we plan to do it as the game progresses and more players join. For the first month we had a block with 5$ Jackpot, as of now we have lowered the Jackpots to see how works better, as not everyone can afford a $5 bid.
And as currently there are only 4 game blocks we can't have that many options. In time there will possibly be more games running at the same time.

There's the freezing glitch again. So me and this fellow bidder (let's call him Bob) were spamming bids in the 0.01c
I won the bid even though Bob apparently bidded after me according to the history (but Bob's bid didn't count for the current round or carry over to the next).
The bid box was then frozen at 0 secs with the winner being Bob and it didn't show the winner message.
It eventually unfroze and everything went back to normal. It usually happens when someone is spamming and (attempts to) bid just right before /after the closing. (I'm not sure)
This is just a minor glitch as not much money was/is at stake but you should really look into it.

Earlier today, roughly 9.5 hours before this post, I withdrew $25. However, this $25 never made it to my wallet. I looked at the hotwallet for the site and it never even got sent.
