Well, you can buy them in the nastyfan shop for .108 including shipping within the USA. So I would be expecting somewhere around there.

Why are you selling so soon after buying?

Well I listed every physical bitcoin thing I have. I would like to keep the lealana silver, the OG penny, and the OG minted seat.  Initially I had the goal of buying one of every physical item, but I am too late in the game to do that so now I am trying to sell my all of my coins to focus on owning all of the coins made by one person. I wanna stick with owning one of every OG coin, but I don't think anyone will ever part with the gold coin that was 6k? (or was it 8k)

User is trying to refuse escrow. He didn't want to USE OGNasty as an escrow, although he is advertising him in the thread. Then I said that MJ will be the middleman and that he'll forward the package to me. But he kind of refused and asked me if I would release the bitcoin once he sends me the tracking info. He wanted that the escrow will be made public and that MJ MUST release the bitcoins once the tracking says "delivered"
Very suspicious activity in my opinion.

0.43 I offer for all

Edit, if you want to sell the lealana by itself, I'll offer 0.15 for that.

Why can't we just agree on an easy and classic escrow transaction? MJ receives  the coins, he releases the bitcoins, and reships the coin to me?
You're trying to avoid it by adding unnecessary things (release on tracking number, sending me video of packaging, public escrow sht) and telling me that you cannot use OG as an escrow.

I didnt think OGnasty would bother with this as an escrow because of his 1$ fee, he would be making dust.

As long as your paying shipping fees and escrow fees Ill use whoever

No thank you, however, I would agree to not post on this site for .15 BTC a month. PM me and let me know if you are interested

0.5BTC for everything - including your account. you must also request to be IP Banned, then you can take your shit to the Litecoin forum.

No thank you, but I will lower my offer to .10 btc per month to not post on the forum.
Holy $h1t!
Having to pay somebody to not post on the forum on a monthly basis?!? :P
Is this a new form of reverse extortion?  :D

Haven't heard of that one before. ::)

Very suspicious activity in my opinion

0.43 I offer for all

Edit, if you want to sell the lealana by itself, I'll offer 0.15 for that.

That is the most tempting offer I have received yet, I think we are going to have a deal
Well, I offered you 0.44 btc, plus shipping.

Well you don't say. :-\

Trade got cancelled between me and Zeroxal because me sending the coin to the escrow, and escrow shipping coin to Zeroxal  was too much of a "hassle" (in their words)

I'll offer 0.42 for everything, plus shipping to Austria.

I would accept that if you paid for shipping to austria, and I guess it depends on the way I send it I will PM you more details

.41 but I also want your forum account as part of the deal.

AWESOME. I am so happy you posted that I am going to quote you and put that in the OP incase people do not go to the second page, this is the best news I have heard all day.

Because

I was under the impression that how normally escrow works like this

Me
You
Escrow

You send BTC to escrow
I send you the package
I update you and escrow with tracking number,
escrow releases btc

however, I have learned that escrow can possibly be

you send btc to escrow
I send you package
you receive package
you update me and escrow that contents are valid
escrow releases btc

however, I do not see how escrow protects me in the second situation because who ever I sent the package too can just say I sent a rock or something

two weeks ago i learned that it could also be

you send btc to escrow
I send coins to escrow
escrow reships coins
escrow releases btc

however, then this puts the BTC and items in the escrow hands so the escrow would have to be trustworthy and also in this situation it allows for more error, and damage to the package because I recently purchased the binary eagle and the case was damaged from the escrow to me, so I am SOL in that situation because the seller isnt going to fix an issue that was caused by the escrow and the escrow should be punished for the USPS damaging the item?

Buyer sends btc to escrow.
Seller sends product to escrow.

If all checks out fine,
escrow releases btc to seller
escrow ships product to buyer.

Everybody is happy  :D

Killyou, stop.....take a breath.  This is how most every transaction goes:

You make a deal with you, the buyer, and escrow in a pm
Buyer agrees
Escrow gives a btc address to buyer
Buyer sends btc to escrow
escrow confirms payment
You send product to buyer
Buyer gets product and alerts escrow
escrow sends btc to you

This is the basic norm of business here.  Anything other then that is suspicious, and not of the "normal".

Hope this helps

yes but see I do not see a point in using escrow because than I am relying on the honesty of the buyer.

I am going to be using this type of escrow for my trades

you send btc to escrow
I send coins to escrow
escrow reships coins
escrow releases btc

I guess this is possible ^ assuming the escrowing person wants to reship the coins.

Not to mention who bears the cost of the double shipping costs? You? The buyer? Both?

In that case, you might think about videotaping yourself while packing the goods, including a clear shot of the shipping label,
so in case of any dispute (given the buyers missing "honesty"), you can provide sufficient proof to the escrow that you held up your end of the deal, so that he can still release the btc to you.

I've used this with Minerjones recently for an auction I won.
Since the seller was based in the US anyway and I prefer to get stuff shipped internationally in batches, rather than one by one, it was the obvious thing to do.
I think it depends on the situation, but it's one way to go for sure.

Title: Re: [SELLING] TONS of coins for sale

Given that sales are often made here in 10's of bitcoins, rather than 1/10ths of bitcoins, this all appears to be getting out of hand.

The escrow is the trusted third party, and independant arbiter in case of dispute. Escrow is there to provide protection to both seller and buyer. Generally they would only handle the digital coins rather than a physical item.

BUT If buyer cannot trust seller to ship the item, rather than an empty box. And / or seller cannot trust the buyer to confirm delivery of the item, rather than an empty box ... then the escrow can be used to relay the physical item also. This is not generally how it is done, but it can be, if needs be.

At no point should escrow ever be released on being provided a tracking number only. The recieving party (or their proxy the escrow, in the second escrow scenario) should always be able to validate the goods recieved, prior to escrow funds being released.

If a deal cannot be reached in any of those models, then there isnt a deal to be had.

On a side note, how much for the Sol Noctis coin with shipping to the UK?
Thanks

Let me refer you to my OP where MJ states that he would reship the items to the buyer.

and again, I will refer you to my OP where it says I am taking offers

also, I sold 1 coin so far, just shipped it, and we did not use escrow!

Guess this could count for my daily bump

buyer sends btc to escrow
i send coins to buyer
buyer confirms and escrow releases

I backed out of the deal because the offer was too low,

how much would you offer for it straight out? /you could buy all of the auction spots

I would offer what I offered you yesterday.

Would you release the btc instantly? Because I fear January 1st the price is going to drop 25%+

Or we write a clause in the escrow that ties the sale to a USD amount?

Instantly as in when the escrow gets the coin?

Nah like you send me the btc and I ship you the coin. But we could include a clause in the escrow tying the sale to a USD amount

I have no issue sending you the coin and you sending funds to escrow tho. But I am really trying to get 10/$20 more out of the coin

Current USD price of 0.15 btc is $145.80

And no I mean when escrow releases me btc it equals 150$

Fine, but when it winds up equaling $165 at this rate, I get the difference back.

How about escrow gets it ad a tip

No, ill do that on my own.

I am declining your offer 100% sure about this, I will not be accepting it (and probably kicking myself next week) I appreciate it, it tho. Unless your offer changes or BTC goes to some ridiolous price and your offer is still valid which I doubt it would be, would I revisit this.

(My decision is based on I didnt realize I paid as much as I did,

So you were willing to do the offer until I was set on using escrow....

no, I am fine with escrow. but if BTC goes up to the price of 1300 than the amount that I paid for the coin is loaded to the coin. and I thought I paid 120 for it but I really paid 130 and I am trying to profit on this.

Can I have your address for shipping?
So you agree to tip escrow and pay for shipping and have escrow release

Well I dont know what to tell you I am open to escrow, and since you are trusted enough I was willing to ship you the coins directly instead of having escrow reship them

Well, let me make an offer then, 0.5BTC at the time of writing this (which would be 468 USD) for everything won in that auction,
if you include shipping and everything gets shipped directly as one pack from IM2 to me.

I'll better this. I offer $475 at the time of writing. If $475 goes above 0.5 BTC, then my offer stays at $475. If it drops, then I pay the equivalent of BTC at the time of sale.

Seems fair.

I cannot sell you the lealanas and the cas for 0.12

The thing is, you just cannot price BTC deals in $ terms. BTC is BTC, it doesn't change. 0.5 BTC worth $400 a week ago is still 0.5 BTC, even though it is worth $470 now.

You need to stick to BTC, and BTC only- not $.

:)

That is some really weird stuff to post on a bitcoin related forum. I'm sure plenty of people would love your coins but maybe you should ship them in bulk to a reseller with a more trusted reputation. They would still be your coins, the middleman gets paid for a small risk and any that don't sell after a month could be returned to you?
