Awesome, I am about to go to bed as it's been a super long day but I will share what I know 100% as of right now.

Once Coochie Coin is listed on Novaexchange I am going to be doing a swap to a whole new chain. I think it would be easier than trying to hard fork to a new algo, new coin cap, new difficulty retarget, new block time and clean up all the walletbuilder code. So we are for sure 100% going to be doing a coin swap. I already have new, yet similar, logos made for the new coin.

Very very soon, within the next couple of days we will have a good block explorer on a very nice site, thecryptochat.net once the new chain is active I will make sure both explorers stay active until the swap is complete and that the old chain continues to move until the end of the swapping period so everyone can transfer their coins.

I will NOT, let me say that again, NOT be pre-mining any coins for myself on the new chain. I 100% HATE premines. The 1st block of the new chain will have 690,000 coins for the swap (or a similar amount depending on how close we are to the 690,000 cap once that point comes). All coins that are not swapped at the end of the swapping period will either go to translation bounties or to faucets and possibly air drops in the form of making transactions back and forth to myself and paying a high TX fee so that it is randomly distributed to the miners. I will make 100% certain to stay 100% transparent with the 690,000 (or so) coins that are premined for the swap.

I do not want an ASIC algo right out of the gate. I have seen many alt coins that are on ASIC algos get stuck because someone will come in with a crazy amount of ASIC hash and jack the difficulty very high, then stop mining. Then the chain is stuck because no one can crack the super high difficulty that the ASIC put there. If in time when the price of the coin rises and it is profitable for ASICs to be slowly introduced then that is awesome. I just don't want to risk the chain getting stuck on some unbreakable difficulty.

My current road map/timeline right now is as follows.

1. Get listed on Novaexhcnage
2. Create the new chain and start the coin swap on Nova
3. Once the swap is over, disperse the unclaimed coins by way of faucets/bounties/air drops
4. Get listed on big exchanges so that a market can build for Coochie
5. Start reaching out to adult themed sites to start getting Coochie accepted as a form of payment

This is just a short road map and I do not have an specific dates for anything because I don't want to make deadlines and not be able to keep them. I am online a lot and very active so anyone can reach out to me with any questions that they might have.

Mining this coin solo is pretty much the way to go right now... There isn't a working pool that I know of right now. Once I have the new chain ready and working there will be pools for that.

So obviously the old dev of the coin coded it wrong. He said that there was a cap of 690,000 total coins. As of the time of writing this message there is currently 697,818 coins. Once it gets closer to the swap on nova I will have to change the premine amount of the new coin to match what is currently out there so that everyone has the ability to swap.

Regarding staking with coins in the wallet, you had mentioned 69 confirmations before coins mature for staking.  I'm at above 100 confirmations for the deposit to my wallet, but when I hover over the icon in the bottom of the wallet for staking, it reads "Not staking because you don't have mature coins" ---- is this just a wrong tooltip and are my coins staking?  I've unlocked the wallet for staking only.

I don't have an exact time on the current stake age maturity. There isn't anything listed in the OP from the origianl Dev other than 69 confirmations for coinbase maturity, says nothing about stake maturity though. I can tell you that it doesn't take very long for the coins to start staking, I just don't know the exact time on the current chain.

Hmmm....we'll see how it goes, I haven't seen any stakes received yet even though it says that my coins are mature.  If anyone else gets successful stakes, post here and let us know if it shows up as "Minted" in your transactions.

Also, had been successfully mining yesterday, but as of about 10 hours ago, it went from regular mining rewards to basically no mining rewards.  Haven't received a successful mine in about 8 hours despite the miner churning along.  Any idea what happened?

That is weird that you are not receiving any stakes. I swear it didn't take longer than a day for myself to start receiving stakes the first time. In any case it shouldn't be too long before we get on Nova and make the switch to a new chain that is actually done correctly and not from walletbuilders. Like I said, he obviously did the coin cap wrong because we are now well above 700,000 total coins and he said the cap was at 690,000. So who knows what else he screwed up in the chain.

How did the coin total supply on COOC jump from about 700000 to over 2 million in the past month?  How does the #1 wallet on the richlist now have almost 800000 coins?  1 month ago, the #1 wallet on the richlist had ~130000 coins (that one is down to #4 on the rich list now).

The block explorer on thecryptochat.net got stuck and started reporting false numbers. I brought it to the attention of the team over at thecryptochat.net and they have switched the BE to their new server system and they are resyncing it. Problem should be solved.

I don't really have any bags to dump... I hold a grand total of about 9,500 Coochie currently. I am currently at work but once I get home I will be more than happy to show a screen shot of my wallet, and I will even go one step further and show you all of my transactions at coinexchange and nova... because I have never made a coochie transaction at an exchange... All 9,500 coochie that I currently hold I mined. And yes, you are right, it normally doesn't take this long to code a coin. However I do have 2 jobs currently to support my family and one of my jobs the past couple weeks has been severly understaffed so I have been putting in 60+ hour weeks... I sincerely apologize for the wait and how long it is taking but I am doing the best that I can do.

so now is a new dev take over this project ?

The new chain is in the final stages of creation/testing. As I have already said it's a brand new difficulty re-target and I am making sure that everything is perfect before it is fully launched. Within the next week at most the new chain should be live and I will be in contact with Novaexchange the moment it goes live to setup the swap.

The swap rate is going to be 1:1. The current total coins in circ is about 1.2 million. I am going to have the new chain premined 1.6 million to account for the coins that are going to be mined during the swap as I will try to leave the swap open for about 2 months to give everyone ample time to swap. The left over coins, as said before, will be given to faucets, air drops and bounties.

Hello all, sorry I have been away but I am currently working 7 days a week with very little time to breathe... I just got done with about 5 hours worth of work on the new chain, myself and a friend of mine have been working out the final calculations on the new difficulty re-target mathematics. All of the base coding should be done very soon. We have been running into hiccups with the diff re-target, as I have stated before is a brand new re-target system, more info on it will be released when the new chain is public. As with anything that has never been created or used before it takes time to make sure it is working perfectly. If any of you ever have any questions feel free to send me a private message, I get an email alert when I get those so I know to log in real quick between my extremely busy life lately. Everything at work is going back to normal so I should start being able to get back on here more often starting this week, I should finally get 2 days off this week if I'm lucky. Rest assured though that I am not going to stop until this coin is finished and has a purpose, even then I probably won't stop. Never take my silence as a sign that I'm not doing anything, because I am. Just hang in there, I'm here for the long haul. :)

I sent an email to coinexchange a couple days ago and they said that they were looking into the reason that it was offline, I will send them an email again right now.

Just got an email back from coinexchange.io They said that they are moving the wallet to a new server and are currently re-syncing it. They said that it should be up and running within the next 24 hours.

The Rich List on coochiecoin.thecryptochat.net seems off --- my wallet doesn't show up on there and somehow, someone has managed to jump up to 197000+ COOC while the network has effectively been shut off. 

How do we get this accurate again?  It would be good to straighten this out before the big swap!

I have been bringing down the difficulty almost daily but someone keeps jacking it back up and getting it stuck. Then I crack the stuck block just for someone to jack it up again... The number one reason I don't want it on an ASIC algo anymore and why we have developed a new difficulty re-target system to help prevent chains from getting stuck.

You are correct with the BE, for whatever reason it shows my address is blank as well... I will contact them about it and see if they can re-sync to try to fix it.

For news on the new chain, it is complete and ready to go. I am currently getting a BE setup for it on the same site.

As most of you know, Nova is changing management and they are shutting down the old site completely before the new management takes over. I have been talking with coinexchange to see if they will agree to do the swap instead, however, it's not looking good with them. One of the ideas that has been brought up with myself and my team is setting up a burn address that people can send their old Coochie to and then having them PM me the TX ID so they can then be credited with Coochie on the new chain, I would then flag that TX ID as already being used so that no one can cheat the system and use the same TX ID again. I am hopeful however that an agreement can be made with coinexchange so that there is a trustworthy third party involved that everyone can trust.

How has the premine gone from ~700000 to 1900000?  How did the coin supply more than double over the past few months?  I wasn't in on that action!  :D

I'm not trying to sound mean in anyway but simple math can explain this. The current amount of coins is around 1.53 Million. With the block reward currently set at 7 and the block time being 1 minute that means that 420 new coins can be created every hour, 10,080 new coins everyday and over 300,000 coins every month... I had to keep the premine about 1 month ahead of the current supply to account for all the coins that are going to be mined during the swap period. That is the reason for the extra 300-400 thousand coins.

With the new chain the reward will be 5 forever at 2.5 minute spacing. This comes out to right around 1 million coins per year for the rest of time. So there will never be an issue with too many coins or not enough coins as far as I see it.

Coinexchange.io has the only other exchange wallet. I have been talking to them back and forth and they keep telling me that the wallet will be out of maintenance very soon, last I heard all they had to do was sync the chain. I just sent them another message about it.

The newest news from coin exchange is in. They have informed me that they should be able to do the swap on their site. They also informed me that the sync of the old chain wallet on their site is done and they will be bringing the wallet out of maintenance any time now so everyone can move their coins from Nova to Coinexchange.

The new chain is almost live and everything is moving forward quite nicely.

Seems like it's stuck again w/ very high difficulty?  Trying to mine it now but haven't gotten any rewards after leaving it active all night....

Do I run the same files on each system, with the wallet open on each of them?  Do I need to use a different username for each? 

When I tried changing it to user.1 and user.2, and matched the details of the coochiecoin.conf and the bat file on each system, I received an error that the username & password didn't match the needed credentials. 

When I just have the same username for each system, I'm able to run the bat run successfully on each at the same time.  However, having left them active for the past 12 hours, I have had very little mining success, which makes me wonder whether they are configured correctly...

Great --- thanks, MC --- any tips on multi-rig mining this to the same wallet?  Should it work without assigning different workers?  If so, is running the same .bat and .conf file on separate rigs OK to do, and will result in parallel mining?  Apologies for the more general ccminer question and not explicitly COOC related --- I just haven't been able to nail down an answer to this after a thorough google search.

I don't have a definitive answer for this either. I think there is a way to do it by way of the .conf file or something to that extent. But solo mining on multiple rigs will work all the same, it will just split all your coins up among different wallets. Of course when you send all the coins to an exchange you can then send them all to the same exchange address which would then combine them in the exchange wallet. Or you can just send all the coins that you mine to the wallet on your main computer so that all the coins are on one address.

That's good!! The chain has been getting stuck quite a bit lately. Some of those websites that auto switch coins must be hitting it when the difficulty gets low. It will go almost a whole day without a block being solved and then I will crack it and someone will almost instantly mine 10 - 15 blocks and drive it right back up.

more and more projects are emerging now and have brilliant and unique ideas right now. very unexpectedly there will be a project like this that will go into crypto.
