That's an excellent point about protecting vulnerable patients from unscrupulous people.  Care4Me's most critical element is the group of Oracles who vet the nurses' professional qualifications and state licenses, before they are allowed to sign up on the app.  The app will monitor license expiration dates, and will disable access unless the expired license is renewed.

The process whereby the Oracle, or Director of Nursing, checks the qualifications will be fully documented, the documentary evidence will be archived in electronic files, and digitally signed to prevent tampering.  This cryptographic proof will then be recorded on the public blockchain ledger.  Authorized auditors can then review this documentation to confirm that only nurses with current certification were allowed to serve patients.

Additionally, the cost savings for the Healthcare industry in preventing hospital readmissions is very substantial. Every year hundreds of millions to billions of dollars are spent on preventable hospital readmissions. By lowering the amount of admissions by servicing clients directly in their homes will save Hospitals and insurance providers billions of dollars annually.

I have a friend who owns a small business lining up hospitals with nurses for short term employment, like 6-10 week contracts.

He makes about $130k a year from commissions for each contract.... So yeah, this market is HUGE.

This will be a necessary service as millenials and generation Xers age. Their familiarity with technology will make it easy for them to recognize the benefits of this service. Imagine one day an individual wants to go on vacation and they need a professional nurse to take care of their elderly parent or grandparent at home. Instead of going through the arduous and expensive process of hiring a nurse through an agency, they will be able to hire them instantly through the application. This is one of hundreds of examples that illustrate the benefit to the public.

1- Is there an escrow for this project ? and if yes then who ?

3- This is care project I see you have mentioned America / south america / asia / europe . Is there a plan to extend to africa too since they are probably the most need for any kind of  care .

Team Care4me, You guys have done a great project. Using Ethereum technology in the Health care industry is the best usage of technology. Reducing the cost of readmission and providing nurses a dedicated job are the two most important things i liked about the platform. Hi, I love the concept but as an investor myself in many ICOs what I see missing is the why should I give you money? What is CareCoin going to do for me if I hand it $5K? Is it a dividend coin? Every time a nurse or patient uses the coin, does a percentage roll back to holders? The product is definitely filling a need and I love the fact you have a working prototype when so many other projects do not, but I would like to hear why this is a good investment for those contributing. I personally am looking for long term investment projects and this totally sparked my interest, just looking for more info on the long term prospects for investors.

Even though am advertising your campaign, am a bit skeptical about the whole ICO launch, dont take it wrongly but i think this ICO launch was hurried .

We chose the funding amount because it is what we honestly need to complete the MVP. No more, no less. We want to earn the trust of investors and prove that we are a real project with real milestones. Most pre-ICOs might shoot for millions of dollars, but we sincerely want to complete our project and earn the trust of investors for our Official ICO. At our ICO we will raise millions in order to expand corporate operations and scope of services.

Hi can you please check the website  ! I think buying carecoins is not working after I choose an amount and try to click on BTC or ETH nothing happen . It is not even hanging I just get no respond as if I clicked on nothing . I tested it with chrome and opera browsers . I think that is the reason only few coins sold .

Honestly admin, this project is ideal also for nurses. I'm a undergraduate nursing students. We always complain about "toxic" setting in hospital. But, if this campaign works many nurses would have a much lighter working environment. Same with the patients who mostly want to stay home while going in treatments. It has more possitive possibilities than a much lesser risk.

I wish that this application which will be created can come to every country but is so hard to do because many poor countries are not connected with modern world but it can help them a lot with some useful apps,tehologies and tools.

We intend on scaling the Care4Me platform to an international scale. Most likely we will start with Europe and Asia, then south america and then Africa. Countries lacking infrastructure will require some clever strategic planning in order to penetrate those markets.

The care4me coin seems to be on the verge of expanding quickly. There should be more awareness campaigns as you said about multimedia. I wanted to take this to your notice . I dont know whether it is a bug or what but whenever we click on the presale tab on your website it asks us to login and purchase the carecoin. Even we have logged in and then click the presale it automatically logs out and asks the to login and purchase. I think its some kind of a bug. Hope you rectify it.

No it wont be available on any exchange. They have mentioned in their ANN thread that the ICO will be on October-November and will last 1 month. So probably after the ICO they will launch it internationally and then by the end of this year the coin will be available for trading. I wonder what will be the value of each carecoin when its available for trading. :-p

I suggest that you must read their whitepaper and then compare it to other healthcare platforms.

Since most of them have different features I can't state the comparison between all of them so you might do your own research about it.

If you want to realize something, you have to work on it, never give up, believe in yourself, and think in a positive way. Those are my self-rules if I want to achieve an ambition. And that is applicable to you. Your projects does not need to be perfect, it just needs to be suitable. Don't dream big, be realistic and with the help of willpower, you will get what you want. The campaign is active till 5th week, it's just the manager isn't. This happened to him before, he explained because of ISP problem. About the Carecoin Dev, i don't know not unless they are the same(nevermind, just a guess though). Hope they will credit the payment asap.

1) for nurse onboarding: according to video "care 4 me staff review the information" and according to white paper "Certification of Nurses' professional qualifications by independent reviewers". I confused...who does onboarding? and who pay them?

2) For paying nurses: who pay nurses for the job? according to video "insurance provider did not cover care management service". Main problem is with insurance provider yes? Where money comes from ... care4me does not solve the problem?

Care4me you say is like uber and I agree! Uber is private company. uber review drivers and have private server. uber do not need blockchain. Care4me is private company like uber and do not need blockchain.

You try to take money from ICO investor with ERC-20 token but purpose of coin only to give away coin for free so that nurses and customer use app in the beginning.
Please explain why ICO is good investment and not donation

After the above post almost two weeks have passed and nobody respond.
Neither to this prety serious post or to update us what is going on with this project.
Still the bounty payments are not proceed,the devs/team are not active and the investors...

Can someone a bit responsible have the courtesy to answer us about it?

Is this project still alive? The roadmap says they should be an ICO in october, but it doesn't seem like that there are still active devs on this thread. Looking at this semi-professional website it makes the appearance of another coin to get fast money for the devs. I feel sorry for those who invested in this project.

OP is Last Active:   August 16, 2017, 12:43:34 PM and the other dev is inactive, I didnt expect this to happen in this project.
If they really abandoned tue investors then they are professional.
