Title: Will all coins continue to go down until 1st August?
Post by: lakimens on July 16, 2017, 07:52:46 PM
I've heard of something happening on August 1st, I still don't know what it is. It seems to be dumping all coins.
Is it safe to say they'll continue to drop till the end of the month and then rebound in August?
What is happening on August 1st?

Chances are big the price of alt coins will drop till 1 august because of the fear for a chain split.
Most coins seem to follow the trend of Bitcoin.
The admin of this forum posted a nice article about 1 august: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2012799.0.

Time for holidays. People discard the bitcoins. In the autumn, it is likely to take off.

Not all coins are being dumped, however since the majority of altcoins are priced versed BTC.
The Lower BTC price goes verses fiat the lower the marketcaps of those altcoins go, even if no altcoins are sold.

So what you're saying is that Bitcoin could crash HARD after Aug 1st, if not enough hash power is put into the new BIP 148?
Since everything is linked to Bitcoin, there's a chance for the whole cryptocurrency market to collapse on itself?

Everyone is sitting on their fiat currency waiting to buy up as much btc and altcoins as they can get their hands on when it bottoms out come aug 1.

The crypto world isnt going to collapse, its been through worse then this before, this is when the smart investors make money.

Bitcoin is going to come back up as always , any altcoins that have any value or a good idea behind them, will come back up. Like always.

Just wait it out and try not to panic.

All tokens are losing their values day by day, people are scared, panic sell on the market today, famous media are playing their roles.

Of course today many of them are selling some of the coins they have at a relatively cheap price because their anxiety about bitcoin prices continues to decline. In my opinion not only the media who have a role in this case, of course, many parties who have contributed in it

Bitcoin Segwit is going to happen on 1st August and because of that most the the coin are dumping and the reason is people are doing panic sell at this time I will recommend to stay away from the market and try to get the coin at the lowest level so you can get as much profit as possible when it will start raising again after 1st August.

The question shouldn't be "will all coins ..." but "will bitcoin ... ".
I expect a lot of volatility from 25 July to 1st August. It could even rise during this period. After 1st August, I expect bitcoin to get back to $2000 and stay there till Septembre when everyone will be back from holidays.

Since bitcoin value is decreasing rapidly now, others coins  will definitely be affected negatively because bitcoin  is the strongest among all the crypto currency. And this is happening as a result of panic of the 1st August meeting as to whether bitcoin will split or  not.

Hard to give an answer! Maybe the best choice now is just forget about crypto for 1 month (if you are not interested in day trading or short term speculation).

Also i guess it will continue because maybe a lot of investor is continue to selling there coin in the market so i guess thats the reason of continues going down of the market value pf the coin amd it will continue to go down in august 1 but i guess the segwit will be successful so it will be a great pump.

Bitcoin hard fork and segwit application thing is called 1 august massacre. We need to learn reading the market properly before take action. As long the uncertainty remains, all of the coins will go down.

It will not safe for you to save until the end of the month, But if you want to buy more cheap bitcoin and you can try to sell some of your bitcoin and buy more at the price of bitcoin already lower. The rebound of the bitcoin price still a speculation we don't know what will happen with bitcoin after the scaling. The 1 August is the day to deploy the BIP148 for the bitcoin.

I guess it is what will happened until august and then it will just depend in the segwit if it will be successful or not a great dump in the market value of bitcoin or maybe a great pump in the price in the market so really a great risk if your going to hold a bitcoin until august

If you look at coinmarketcap 955 of the coins are dropping even Bitcoin price is dropping, and it will continue to do so until the fork is implemented and we have a real and most accepted blockchain this is a good opportunity to buy more coins with good potential but everybody seems to be dumping.

Footy Cash (FOOT) has not dropped - in fact it has gained value.

Here's Why:

FootyCash has seen a meteoric rise in valuation for the past month; with a price increase of more than 5000% on multiple exchanges.[/b]

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=FOOT_BTC#

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1374929.0

Here is why I think FootyCash is a great cryptocurrency:

1. Footy has Rarity - Only 4 million coins total can exist.  There is a small POS inflation rate - about 3% annually (for staked coins only).
How many of you can say like the Winklevoss twins - that you own whole percentages of a cryptocurrency.
Looking the current price of FootyCash you actually might be able to!

2. Footy is the first Fantasy Sports Crypotocurrency ever made. - Footy is the Bitcoin of Fantasy Sports!

3. Fantasy Sports is a multi-billion dollar industry - with tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue just for Fantasy Football alone!  If you count all the illegal gambling the figure goes much higher - maybe hundreds of billions? (not that I am condoning illegal gambling - but it's a fact of reality that must be considered anyway).

4. Coinmarketcap list just under 900 altcoins; of those listed only a  small percentage of altcoins have a cap of less than 4 million total coin.  Every coin on coinmarketcap with a rarity of less than 7 million total coins produced are all worth more than $2.00 USD - with the exception of Dreamcoin (because of YOBIT) and FOOTY CASH (which is currently undergoing a price correction: 5000% increase in the past month alone.)

5. The coin was greatly undervalued because of unawareness of the Footy cryptocurrency and Fantasy Sports as well.  As more and more people become aware of its value the price will continue to rise.

6. FootyCash has a great developer, active development, and the best community support!

7. FootyCash has a promising roadmap and is currently developing Masternodes for the next release.

8.  The name FootyCash may sound funny but "Footy Cash" is an actual English term (apparently):

     https://www.power100.com.au/news/local-news/81959-footy-cash-to-go-to-good-friday-appeal
     and
     http://www.heraldsun.com.au/ipad/california-club-brothel-sues-in-footy-cash-feud/news-story/bd77f7d397a34a067342a113b5bfa5d8

9. DraftKings, FanDuel, and other Fantasy Sports companies are getting the legislative green light to operate in most U.S States and other countries as well.

When these companies decide to follow the trend of most corporations and switch to blockchain technology - I guarantee you that they will take a hard look at FootyCash first!

10. Oh, and the price of Bitcoin is dropping and will continue to drop until the August 1st Segwit activation takes place.

While Bitcoin is dropping, FootyCash is actually gaining value daily.  FootyCash is a great store of value to weather this storm.

No one can really tell what will happen before and after of August 1, all we're seeing right now is a major dump of bitcoin and some altcoins. Good thing I already converted some coins to fiat. The exchange is constantly red and no one knows when it will recover, its jaw dropping when seeing this. The least we can do is trust whatever happens in the activation of segwit2x.

No one knows on when the dumping would stop. It might dump until it reaches August 1 and theres no assurance that there would be a rebound after that particular date. If you do read out the important facts about August 1 event then you will surely know whats the cause of these price decrease on most coins in the market. Not only bitcoin but altcoins too.

In any case, stay safe and monitor the market before investing.

In my opinion, buying at now not bad choice if have good funds can buy, but just use 10-30% for shopping because we not know the price can still falldown in next time or bounce and recover! Ready with happens the price continue falldown and use 10-30% for DCA

First things first, no need to panic. Whatever coins you ve purchased and whatever current price is, THERE IS NO LOSS UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY SELL.
So, if u re a sensitive type and like to check market price every 2 min, DONT. Just step away from your computer and come back after a few days/weeks.

The market will definitely be extremely volatile for the next couple of weeks even months. I do not think we ll see a decreasing trend only cause current dumps re caused by completely ignorant people who dump cause they panic. For example, BTC was $1830 yesterday and $2000+ already today. So, what do you think how do people who panic sold yesterday feel? Well, like stupid idiots.

Finally, I do not think crypto market will get destroyed after Aug 1. I do not even expect a fork considering SegWit2x support is currently at just under 90%. We have seen these crypto dumps before and the best option is to learn how to ride the wave. Patience is everything in trading.

This is just my opinion regarding the topic, I think as long as bitcoins price is going down the altcoins value also goes down with it. But I think after August 1 if bitcoins price will start to increase slowly, eventually all coins will try to increase back too. But there's no need to panic, I have some coins left in a certain trading site and I just left it there and will try check back after a couple of months or by December.

Unfortunately it's a yes and there is no sort of guarantee that it will stop after august 1, altcoins only survive because of bitcoin and as bitcoin falls altcoins also start falling and the problem is when people sell altcoins they sell it for bitcoin and then they dump bitcoin because of this the price of bitcoin is falling at a  really high pace. If you holding just wait soon in few weeks bitcoin will rise and altcoins will also start rising hopefully. If you also noticed the overall market cap has reduced so that is another reason for the fall when total market cap reach $100 billion again everything will surely be back to normal.

You are right. The bitcoin is the king of the cyrpto currency and it is the prime currency for some exchanges. But I think it will not last too long since the market is much stronger then 2013.

Well, 1st August is the day that the blocks in blockchain of transactions will increase I think.
But the instability of knowing how this will happen is making the volatile values of every coin go down ! I guess it will be like this till atleast start of August. But am also hoping that they will get back on track once this problem will be solved !

Last morning bitcoin has already bounced back. I think there are supports already but still not so much because people are still observing the segwit activations. Once this drama is ok, bitcoin will rise again. Those negative  speculation really affects the biotcoin price.

I dont think so all coins will drop till 1st of Aug market never goes in the same direction for long time Downtrend or uptrend both is the part of market it can reverse any time nobody can predict the exact picture of market but we can be careful while trading one must have good technical knowledge of coins that we hold for  long & never believe on rumours always do your homework also.

Not sure about altcoins, but about Bitcoin, you might be right.

Also, recently I have seen some analysts saying that in order to get coins in both chains, people will probably move money out of the exchanges.
If that happens, the number of Bitcoins in exchanges will drop drastically, and being a matter of supply and demand, the price will go up.

It would comes into zigzag way inspite of the downward trend as of now because of the upcoming event on this August but for now i do already see some greens on altcoin compared on last weeks price movements which i do see most of them are on reds which we can able to say that we would somehow hit the bottom if the price movement would be on this way but yet prices starts to breath now even in bitcoin.

What is happening on August 1st?
Most of bitcoin investors eagerly awaited for segwit activation so that block size would be increased and transaction fee would get reduced. But no one expected that hard fork might happen and bitcoin would split into two chains.Even some big whales are trying to make investors panic by spreading this news so that they would sell their bitcoins at cheaper price. As they expected, newbies sold their bitcoins and even altcoin holders also started to sell their coins since most altcoins prices are valued based on bitcoin. But i think that all confusions would settle down after august 1 and then bitcoin prices would skyrocket and altcoins would follow it in prices.

August 1st will be the big event in bitcoin because Segwit2x is going to happen in August 1st and splitting of bitcoins. As for now this is just an speculations for most bitcoins investors and there is a long discussion to happen at August 1st. We should still keep our pace calm and wait for the results after August 1st.

Yes , you are totally true , but you should need to know the exact reason that why the price of the Bitcoin get down because the main reason of the down in the price of the Bitcoin is of panic .
Here to upgrade the network of the Bitcoin and Making it more efficient they want to update with new technology where the same block chain technology will Handle the two coin ( may be this idea can drop because of already launch of BTU , still suspension for me )  and increase the size of the block of the Bitcoin network , so that people can use Bitcoin with more ease and with low fee , but due to this news many people  getting  in the fear because they are thinking that they can loss some money but reality is that nothing will happen bad or mistake because the Bitcoin netwronteam already made the trial of the Bitcoin new update segwit2x , and that is not bad for the old chain of the coin of the Bitcoin .
So don't getting panic and hold your money btc in the address at which you can handle your tat address that have private key .

In my opinion, yes they will continue to go down until 1st of August because there is a lot of FUD spreading in the social media and also in the market and that makes the people scared of getting in the market so they are just looking at the market without doing anything good action but i think in the mid of the month of august the prices of coin will start to climb up again.

Mostly, but not all of it of course. people like to diversify their investment, so if bitcoin price goes up then altcoins will follow it and take a look at current price, most coins on the rise due to people buy back after significant decline. Let's see how long it could last until next correction, I expected for big rally in the end of this month because miners has show their intention to signal segwit2x early http://www.coindesk.com/bip91-begins-bitcoins-miners-signal-segwit2x-scaling-proposal-early/

There are currently too many people and organizations who care about virtual currency, the value can change in a good or bad way because of the members and the media.

Of course all bitcoin users expect bitcoin prices to continue to increase as last month, because this will bring a good impact for the economy of its users. Certainly with decline in bitcoin prices will certainly have an impact on altcoin prices and down, but now getting better.

There will be a few exchange halted operations on August 1st to reduce the risks for investors because the bitcoin will split because of the demands of the increasing investor.

In my opinion, yes they will continue to go down until 1st of August because there is a lot of FUD spreading in the social media and also in the market and that makes the people scared of getting in the market so they are just looking at the market without doing anything good action but i think in the mid of the month of august the prices of coin will start to climb up again.
I think this will continue to go downtrend as many do the panic selling. Eventhough we cant really predict until what price its dip but for sure their will be an uptrend happen after august1. Lets just wait and observe of the things might happen.

There will not be a Hard fork of the BTC, it was obvious.

It's just manipulation on the part of the miners.

When they finish playing, the BTC will start again!

It is a poker game, nothing more, just to buy cheaper bitcoins, and have a maximum of fees for a few months!

A lot of fuds are spreading and its not healthy for community. It affects the price as many investors are here for a real business. Maybe if the fuds can lessen, coins will bounce back again before August 1. Maybe not all coins will recover sooner but all potential coins are getting ready for this.

I am not entirely sure, but I'd say the big dump is over. Maybe there will be another dip, but it will recover soon. The money is there, people are more mature and they want to invest into future technology.

Panic sellers already sold (like idiots) and the happy whales and other people who had some money bought all of the dump. Now the panic sellers realize it is already recovering and they buy in again (with losses). FOMO. Usually it is too late in a stage like 1-2 weeks before something happens. People who sold nothing are laughing now (and those who called early enough to rebuy cheap).

It was stupid to begin with. Lots of smoke grenads from whales to shake out weak investors and buy their stuff cheap only to sell it to them again. Free money for everybody who is somewhat smart. I mean come on. Even when there is the thought of a possible hard fork with a low probability. Nothing would change for BTC. BTC stays the same and chances are slim that the BTU thing would succeed. Why would it even matter? You are stupid if you sold at a loss.

there isn't anyone who can answer that question with certainty

markets can't be predicted, you can only make assumptions

since the market has been bearish the last three weeks, we can assume that the downtrend will continue

I think the best strategy is to buy over time. For example 20$ every week. And when the price begin to rise again you decrease your investment amount.

Read some news, so you'll know what happen. There's big speculation about 1 August that bitcoin will split and the price going down. That's why many people take safety step with exchange their coins become currency. I suggest hold your coin and see the price after August, become scam or not is the risk. Surely we all have seen major decline is now found in the bitcoin and some altcoins. Good thing, because the converted a few coins to fiat. The Exchange is constantly red and no one knows when it will recover, with jaw dropped when I saw this. Little that we can do is trust no matter what happens in the activation of segwit2x. the possibility this would happen until the end of the month or early August

Actually this is all happening due to pump and dump only because sudden down in the price of the Bitcoin was the reason of the pumpers and dumpers .
Well here the main thing is that we need to go through the better ways where we can make estimate and can get idea whether the will go down or not and what are the limits where we should stop buy and sell the particular coin.
So make analyse himself about the coins and then decide that how much you can make profit and loss .
And here this is common thing for us that altcoins are related with the Bitcoins but sometimes the price of the altcoins can go with the Bitcoin , so more better to have patience and skill and experience to not to get loss in any ways .
Mostly it happened that Bitcoin going high and altcoins going down and vice versa .

August 1 is a rumor stating Bitcoin will split into two that's why some are panic selling their Bitcoins as earlier as now. And as bitcoin goes down so will some altcoins too. If that is the case and the coins are decreasing before August 1 then I think it is an opportunity for some who have the budget to buy coins while they are on sale.

I think that is completely rational and reasonable to think that BTC will go down till 1st of August and then we will see what happens.
And most of the altcoins will go down with it.

But while observing the prices this logic is not completely true .

1) Look at the last 24 hours, BTC was dropping but ETH was going up like crazy.
Any explanations for this ?

2) LTC remained relatively stable , going considerably down only in the past hour or so .
I have heard a lot of that LTC seemingly is a choice for many moving investments from btc to ltc. Do someone has explanation for this ?

Right, because I think the current bitcoin is still a reference for altcoin. It is not surprising that altcoin prices also decline, as traders still rely on bitcoin as their exchange hub. After hearing the news of 1st August, they decided to sell their altcoin to bitcoin and after being bitcoin, they also decided to sell the bitcoin for money.

At the present moment, it seems that traders are hesitant to make any altcoin purchases. But once this news passes, I'm sure everything will be back to normal as usual.

According to me YES. Because at this time most of the traders are converting their bitcoin to USDT and few solid altcoins and keeping them in their hard wallet. So when most of them will convert their coins so the trading volume will get low and when no one will trade eventually price will come down. But I am sure when segwit will be done bitcoin will start to grow and sure altcoin will also grow with that.

But for those who do not believe this issue ,, they will greatly take advantage of this moment. Because it can buy and accommodate it cheaply

Bitcoin Segwit is going to happen on 1st August and because of that most the the coin are dumping and the reason is people are doing panic sell at this time I will recommend to stay away from the market and try to get the coin at the lowest level so you can get as much profit as possible when it will start raising again after 1st August.
It is much better to look the segwit as a good thing for bitcoin development. It is a direct part of bitcoin system development for the stock of bitcoin on the market balanced until it reach a great price. Dumping is usual and quite common to bitcoin so its better to just get ready and make some decision on point so you can earn more. If you are going to decide on panic selling you would need to monitor the price so you can know and observe the trend of bitcoin price so you can earn until the start of August rather than to lose you investments.

In August 1 there is going to be an hardfork meeting and that meeting if it is positive we expect bitcoin price to increase and if it is negative the price to decrease. From now till the time, amateurs traders will be selling out of panic but the professional has foreseeing the outcome and they are taking position on were the price will swing to. Currently bitcoin has appropriate from near $1,800 to $2,378 today and we expect the market to appropriate further as many started to understand that what will happen in August 1 is negligible.

Right now we are experiencing the affects of indecision and fear of the weak hands as they are selling their position in preparation for that date. If Bitcoin goes down in August 1 we better be prepared with all our Altcoins as it will be a sure thing that they will be affected as well.

Not all coins are being dumped, however since the majority of altcoins are priced versed BTC.
The Lower BTC price goes verses fiat the lower the marketcaps of those altcoins go, even if no altcoins are sold.

Since everything is linked to Bitcoin, there's a chance for the whole cryptocurrency market to collapse on itself?

Then altcoins will go up also and it will give profits to the wise investors who bought from the dips.

Exactly not all coins noe are dumping. Mostly some of them are just following the price of bitcoin. And these results to panic selling becaause people get afraid to lose some of their money when august 1 comes.
Some do follow some of coins arent and this thing is really normal on cryptoworld which prices do go on different ways and dont really vary on each other but as a bitcoin/alt users we would eventuall pinpoint whats the similarities of movements into our coins. For now its gradually increasing already even August 1 is fast approaching but still we cant be sure if it would dump again or it would already increase its price without tending to dump its price again.

Markets follow the principle of "Maximum Pain". Whatever is most likely to hurt as many people as possible as much as possible is the most likely thing to occur. That's why the little guy is always getting crushed...

Since bitcoin value is decreasing rapidly now, others coins  will definitely be affected negatively because bitcoin  is the strongest among all the crypto currency. And this is happening as a result of panic of the 1st August meeting as to whether bitcoin will split or  not.

Actually bitcoin and the alternative coins is quite related to each other. And for the development factor it also connected and inclined to each other so it is expected that the sudden changes that people assume that will happen to bitcoin will also likely to happen on altcoin but it is better to not panic and always think that bitcoin development is always there and nothing bad will happen because it may continue to develop more as changes and it's price is just a part of its progress and development.

In this case is very  possible that the downward trend continues still until that date because it is not yet clear what will happen after that deadline, only the most versed in the field know more precisely what would be more likely to happen,up to now it has not been a price fall that could be considered tragic, all those expectations created make that wobble in the graphs,in short,I think it is more likely that the price will go down during these days and the wait will be long for many holders.

Like you, I'd love to know if all coins will continue to go down until 1st august?
The market will decide, the market is all the people involved in cryptocurrency which represents about 3 million ppl.
You have to make statistics on a sample of people, I'd say at least 1000 to make it accurate.
Then please, come back to us with your conclusion. (asap)

Well if I were to have good insights here I must say that it's not predictable to think that coins will rise or fall.  We just only depends on the current updates everyday. So if there's a problem with the demand and supply prices will eventually goes higher due to fluctuations happening. After you see that most of the coin prices is rising, you now have the best timing for another coin investments and can buy back to invest for another long term.

1st august is basically about bitcoin fork , and yeaaa it might affects altcoin a little bit i guess, there will be an adjustment rather than keep dropping down.

I've heard of something happening on August 1st, I still don't know what it is. It seems to be dumping all coins.
Is it safe to say they'll continue to drop till the end of the month and then rebound in August?
What is happening on August 1st?

The drop in the price of coins is because of a chain split in august first concerning Bitcoin and which will seriously affect the price of other coin in the crypto market.
And this drop in the price of Bitcoin is due to a panic sell of coins, which is causing a drop in the price of Bitcoin.

I'm not quite sure about this but I heard that the news on August 1 will not happen. But, since the news had already spread I think most of the crypto currencies value will decrease because of panic selling. Of course everyone is scared about the decrease of value in any coins. But, it doesn't matter when coins increase or decrease day by day. So, let's just see what will happen on August 1.

I heard some news about August 1, some said that it's not true some said it's true. But the point is the news already spread out and most of the bitcoin users and investor will surely pull out their coins. So, most likely all crypto currencies will drop and maybe it will rise again after a month.

I think the news about August 1 will have a big impact to all the crypto currencies' value. Most likely everyone will be afraid that there will be a big drop on August 1 so everyone might sell out during that time. So, the value of all the coins will surely drop. Even if the news about August 1 is true or not it surely has a great effect on the value of all coins.

Yes there is a lot of fear in the market in general that's why everything is so volatile at the moment. It will obviously calm down but with this volatility its hard to say if it will head up or down during the next week, though I think it will be up.

I will somewhat disagree with you. I believe that bitcoins will keep on rising till August 1st. After Segwit, there is no chance for bitcoins for coming down. Those who want to buy bitcoins should grab as many as they can before the implementation of Segwit. Besides those who are already having bitcoins in wallets should keep holding to them.

Well, under $2000 has been correction price in few weeks ago, next support line is $2300 if next time continue correction again. But, if Bitcoin get some news about hacked or active SegWit2x failure, I can't guess the price in that time will breakdown to $1000 or under $1000 :-\.

Thanks for your suggestion. The price of BTC has been already quite flaky. It may be right time for alt coins to mean their names, good alternatives. But I wonder whether the dogecoin has the pump potential, considering the original intention of the coin, keep inflating and keep price down?

Things need to doing now is waiting the signal from Bitcoin and the happens after August 1st or first week of August on market. This is best choice for trader want buy altcoins and holding long term. In current bullish are trap all and can make you loss money anytime

Yes i really agree with you, don't buy altcoin right now safe your money untill after August 1st, and you can continue for trade bitcoin after that process finish, maybe on second week of August.  ;D

Nothing will happen if everyone does not think it is a scary thing, at least be more relaxed for a moment that all prices will return to normal after 1 August

I reckon the price will fall come august 1st you can always count on people shitting themselves, just be ready to buy in when the time is right!

Keep an eye on the stats here you can see when segwit locks in.  I was watching this last week and the price of bitcoin was going up the more BIP91 was more likely to lock in.  Made a nice profit this way  :)  I have sold everything for USDT and in 5 days we shall see what happens!

Nothing will happen on august, stop this nonsense! Story about fork is almost done..
Altcoins which are pumped before now falling, it is just natural process, or should i say we entering new period in which we can expect another "BTC rush" but alts will have a lot of problems. Especialy few very popular coins in the top.

We can only predict and I appreciate each of your views about the influence of August 1st.
But i think only the market and the user requests that determine the altcoin is up or down.
Theoretically the cryptocurrency market or any other market is indeed always depends on the demand and supply itself.
When there is a huge spike on both aspects it could directly changes the market direction.
1st august is basically about bitcoin fork , and yeaaa it might affects altcoin a little bit i guess, there will be an adjustment rather than keep dropping down.

Yes I agree, there will be an effect on August 1st. But whether it brings improvements on alt coins, we do not know.
Hopefully bringing good change to the world of crypto.
If you want to take a risk , buy some potential altcoins such as nxt, xrp and dogecoin now.
Before the price affected later as i believe the skyrocketing on altcoins market will happened.
Mark my words , and that's the conclusion of my whole analysis so far , feel free to join or ignore it.

Thanks for your suggestion. The price of BTC has been already quite flaky. It may be right time for alt coins to mean their names, good alternatives. But I wonder whether the dogecoin has the pump potential, considering the original intention of the coin, keep inflating and keep price down?
Yeaaa we all can see it the price movement of bitcoin always have a good range , between $50 to $200 .
And the last bitcoin drop are around $600 , while altcoin survice a little bit and move up again by now.
Dogecoin still has a lot of potential to get pumped in my opinion , we can see 100% price up for dogecoin.

So far it seems the altcoins have been following the Bitcoin trend. But I think we can see a turn of events once Bitcoin gets segwit. Most of these coins would be even more worthless.

As I guessed, BCH was a coin used for the pump.
Bitcoin was strong in this process.

Speculators are very likely to make many altcoins continue to decline to aug 1. and only a few altcoins are still skyrocketing. Investors still hold bitcoin, which has a negative impact on altcoins. And it seems that after the issue aug 1, altcoins will start to stabilize and restart a reasonable price than it's now.
