I learnt about bitcoin in 2014 and since then it has been a great help to me

I just want to advice anybody that reads this post even if you have bitcoin or not, get bitcoin and safe it,  so if you can lay your hand on bitcoin now, please safe even if it is a little.


My story-  the was something i did in 2015/2016 i hard a little money with me and i wanted to discipline myself cutting my spending then an idea came into my mind to turn the cash into bitcoin and safe it and i did just that ( i even forgot about it). one day i hard nothing on me at all i was not even able to buy food for my self and my Girl. then i remembered that i saved bitcoin in one of my offline wallet, without wasting time i exchanged it to cash with localbitcoin. i was shocked by the ROI. it was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Why not it seems like a good choice to save for our future even if its not bitcoin Fiat could also be a good way.

I wish I had invested more on bitcoins. Lost my interest from crypto world few years ago and ended up cashing out everything. But I am back and won't be leaving anytime soon.

The story is indeed a life saver. It is nice to know how saving in bitcoin literally saves OP from starving, anyway , I had not any good story yet but I hope it will be soon.  I failed to save Bitcoin in this past months but due to this story, I was moved to save Bitcoin.  I will try to not touch my earning from this forum sig campaign and see if this will give me way more in the future.

yes I will save bitcoin for my children, right now i'm doing job as well as manage my bitcoin business. I save bitcoin for th better studies for my children, m y elder son want to study in oxford and i'm ready to take him admission in oxford because i have all dues to pay.

I've experienced a lot of things for my age, my experience is that the result is something that is not easy, so I want to rely on Bitcoin, but I do not know what the price will be tomorrow.

My plan is to start saving some part of bitcoin as savings  for my children just as  the OP  as recommended I think it is a very good idea this will serve as investment for me and for my children in fact it could also serve as a pension for future use, there is a wide speculation that the price of bitcoin will keep on rising probably it could reach $10,000 in a few years to come.

It's a very good idea. I am sure that in future every satoshi will be very valuable. That time, our children cannot earn or collect BTC as easy as we can today ( I know earning BTC is difficult today, I am comparing it with future). It might be the best gift which we can give them.

I don't know about this but for me, you just save yourself from the starvation. You yourself saved yourself and not bitcoin because bitcoin is just a digital currency. And if want to thank someone, thank the users and investors of bitcoin the reason why the price of bitcoin is pumping nowadays.

I don't have children so i'm not that worried about their future and saving up for them. Young people have their own ideas and don't want their old folks to pave the road for them.
I'd actually prefer to spend my money the way I want and If I ever have children I'll make sure they have a place to live and the rest is up to them. Keeping BTC for the next 20 years could backfire on them and become worthless by the time they get a hold of it. It's much better to leave a roof over their heads and if they're smart they'll make money somehow.

That's great to listen that bitcoin helped you to buy food for your little girl and may god bless her with all the happniness of life. But truly bitcoin is a blessing to me as well. I started when bitcoin's price was standing at 450 USD and you can easily understand that how much I am in profit now.

Few months back, I met with a little accident and I didn't have much cash with me being it was a month end and I was waiting for my salary. I simple cashed out a very minor percentage of my bitcoin using localbitcoin website and I received the cash with 5 minutes. I was able to spend for my doctor's fees and all the tests he had suggested. I am grateful because that day, I didn't have to borrow money from someone.

It is true that bitcoin is not just a life changing coin but also a life saver. Just like you, I save my bitcoin and use it for special purposes only by converting it into cash. There were time that I have to pay for my sister's school bill and glad that I have some saving in my wallet. It is very advisable to save for you child and even for yourself it maybe fiat of bitcoin. But I prefer bitcoin.

While saving in the name of the kids is a good idea, I do no know why we need to use them as a reason, save in bitcoin because it benefits you, because saving in bitcoin is a beneficial thing to do, bitcoin is very similar to exercising, it is good for you, it is going to make you healthier, to live longer and to have a better quality of life, while you can do that for someone else the one that will get the biggest benefits is yourself.

It is a good story and this is not the first time bitcoin helped someone in real lfe, bitcoin had saved a lot of people life and increase their economic condition, the salary in my country is not so big, and I am struggling to buy the things I want, and after I knew bitcoin everything changed, my life has become better and I will save some of the coin for my children, I think bitcoin can become the best heritage for my children

Saving smaller amount of bitcoins can prove to be a great investment which which will yield very good dividends for yourself and even Children in the near future,  I think it will be wise to put the money for your children's trust fund rather into bitcoins, that am sure can take care of them during their college years.

I haven't had a child. but, I will try to set aside little by little bitcoin, for the future investment family and my son to be born. and thank you remind me. I will remember.

Its true that one of the best decision anyone could have made based on average income earned in this century is have bought some bitcoin in the  past as I have never seen any one investment that have turned greatly what bitcoin has turned into even with inflation happening to price level, the returns overshadowed such. To comment on the title of your post, for now, I will be just saving bitcoin for myself because at the moment I don't have children because I'm still as student but when the time comes that I know that I'll be having a baby, I guess I will have a lot of bitcoin by then and I will save some of it for my children's future. In the future, bitcoin will be surely more important to our lives to support us financially so better start saving them while we still can.

Many people are now imagined themselves to be investors. This happened because bitcoin is now demonstrating a stable growth of prices and do not need any mind to profit. I don't have a children as of now but i am already saving bitcoin for the future because i want to secure my future and my future family so i will not suffer for being poor and the lack of money. I know everything what is better should be for kids, but I think we should not forget about ourself. The life is too short. I haven't kids and I plan to spend bitcoins for myself only till the moment when the first child will appear. After I plan to share those money on kids also, maybe I would have to say myself no for long trips and something expensive, but I'm not plan to leave myself without any joy even a little one.

With the way things are going it seems the best investment anyone can give now is bitcoin but for me, rather than giving the guy at 18, I will rather keep it for his/her education to any length which by that time, j won't bother myself at all ask to where to get additional money for that. Favoring children with regular saving of bitcoin is good, but the same has got risk because of the bitcoin's backing nature. Saving in terms of bitcoin helps with an added earning as the price of bitcoin varies regularly. Even after this, children need to be taught to operate it, else at times this gets unused.

Well saving for the kids future I guess it's a right call by the OP and I fully agree, and I don't think it's going to be a problem for the kids to  learn to use because they wouldn't be kids forever and at the right time when it dawns on them that they've been left a fortune I think they will do everything to get to know how to use it.

There is not much of a point in saving in fiat, all your fiat must be invested in something, real estate, stocks but the market that is giving the biggest earnings is definitely bitcoin, so save all the bitcoin you earn no matter the source and convert most of the fiat that you can afford in bitcoin, that way in the future its value would have multiplied and you will be able to enjoy the fruits of your great investment.

That was nice of you in a few years that 0.1BTC will be a lot more valuable but besides giving them that money you also  need to teach them about it because if you do not then it is very likely they are going to spend that bitcoin in whatever they see not realizing that they are wasting one of the best opportunities of their lives, so more than money give them education.

That is a good start for a child to start getting educated in bitcoin and having at least 200 USD worth of bitcoin is such a good amount for a child because most of the children there cannot afford to have even at least 20 USD. Keep teaching your child and maybe someday he can be one of the most wealthiest person which his source of income is bitcoin.

We cant make a period since we do know theres no guarantee on bitcoin world and we wont know in upcoming years if it would be still alive or not because we know anytime or anything could really happen on bitcoin world but we can really pressumed that bitcoin would really have a good future knowing that its adoption is growing bigger as the years passed and so as on the value too.

It is absolutely a good thing to do. My being here today is not mainly for myself per se, but mostly for my kids. Im not sure if it is really advisable to save bitcoin for my children's future. As we all know that bitcoin's value is very unpredictable. Is one has bitcoin right now, he can take advantage of its current price and make coversion to fiat. I pay tuition, electricity bills, water bills, car bills, even to buy food every day, they are the result of bitcoin.

Yeah sure that if i had a children i would teach him about cryptocurrencies, not just only Bitcoin. This is probably be the future of money, i am sure of that, no matter how much years does it take..
But it is difficult to do that, you know that the society at the moment doesnt like people to invest, save money or something like that, the new generations are educated only to spend money, and that is how the system works.
So it is not easy, but it is worth if you teach your children about bitcoin because you are "teaching" him how to take care of Money, not only bitcoin.

It's wise to choose bitcoin as savings than saving it in banks cause the interest has a huge difference. It may be expensive to buy bitcoin now but when we think of the possible value in the coming years then we would not waste our time and have bitcoin now. Future life is harder than the present. Everyone doesn't know what will happens in future. I have deep plan to save Bitcoin in future for my child and family.

Every parent wants to secure their child's future and they will do anything just to give them a good life.

It's hard a person who has a child nowadays has so many extra costs paying the child's internet bill , getting him new games , fulfilling his all technology requirements and many other things. I agree that saving Bitcoin is a good investment in the future. For example, University school fees is getting more and more expensive. Saving in fiats is difficult to catch up the fast rising school fees.

Hey, saving for your children is a responsibility that you took when you decided to have kids. Saving bitcoins is good if everything is going smooth, but you have to consider its volatility. Bitcoins can be used to save and at times it is very profitable, but when it comes to your kids future, you shouldn't just rely on bitcoins.

If what you plan to do for your children is save up bitcoin for them, then you have no idea of the kind of mistake you’re  bout' to make. Why do you have to put all your hope on it? There are much better things you can do.

If you think you’re making lots of money from bitcoin, why not start up industries like Microsoft, Coca-Cola etc. At least they will benefit from it. And if bitcoin happens to be around then,  they will at least have the money to invest into it, if that’s the choice to choose to make. I’m not saying saving bitcoin for them is bad, but you got to think smart.

You are one kind soul, nice to meet you! Honestly speaking, I don't plan this far and have never given it a thought. I am guy who lives in present and makes sure if he would wake up tomorrow, he won't have to beg anyone for anything. Also, I have humble needs.

If you are going to save bitcoin for your children you need to also teach them how to manage their money, I have seen a lot of irresponsible college students spending their college fund in parties and alcohol and even taking student loans to do so, I have no doubt that people like that are not going to go far in life since they are taking such mistaken decisions, so you need to teach your kids about the dangers of doing something like that from an early age.

Saving bitcoin for children could be one of the options to help them financialy but you have to have on your mind that bitcoin is volatile so at the end you might not have that amount of money you wanted. So to my opinion one of the solutions is also to teach them about bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and how to use all the advantages. So, like they say, not just to give them fish but to teach them how to catch the fish.

Right now i dont have children yet but i save my bitcoin when it comes have a problem for my self or to a family on my house. Actually bitcoin it a big help for us you can change it for cash in a big amount if the value of the bitcoin its going to rise.

Saving for our children's future, in whatever form of investment it is, is always a good idea, especially when they are still very young. As our kids grow old, their expenses are go increase as well. If we are able to accumulate bitcoin at today's price and able to hold it until they have reached college, it would be substantial by then and most likely enough to cover for college tuition fees and other school related expenses.

Surely they will but in my country bitcoin is not fully functioned and the government has sill some securities about bitcoin while legalize it in the country. I have two children and they are still a baby, before me and my husband did'nt know about bitcoin we are lack of financial,we didnt know where to get money to pay our expenses and our salary is not enough to sustained our other expenses.then we found bitcoin and now we have also a savings for the future of our kids ,for their future education or other expenses.we did not know what happens next so now if we have extra incomes lets save for the future of our kids.when my kids grow up i will teach them also about bitcoin to get money and saved.

Even now there are a lot of assets that you can put your money, bitcoin is not the only digital currency, there are a lot more other too. Bitcoin has the highest price but it is not the only digital currency that can be traded. There are many alternative coins and also there are new upcoming new currencies.

When i first joined bitcoin one of the thing that goes in my mind is that i will be doing this investments for the future of my soon to be children.  I may not have kids as of now but it is one of my intentions,  i did not joine soley for self benefit since i already earn enough from my job.  So all of this savings ive made will one day possible go to my childrens inheritance.

I don't think that saving Bitcoin for a long time is a good idea, what I mean about that is when you save Bitcoin and you have enough savings to build up a business I think it is a better use of your time and money as having a passive income is a better inheritance then just money. Yeah your right! Me, i have not yet child but i am saving money for my future expenses and for my future life. I am taking the opportunity that i have income from bitcoin through signature campaign, trading, investing and mining.
