As you perfectly pointed out, our blockchain based reviews have these advantages. However, reviews can be updated in the smart contract by its owner during a small timeframe and then become immutable until the owner makes another purchase to the very same merchant.

We cannot disclose the exact amounts for now. However we already sold SATs prior to the ICO which represent enough seed to launch the project but does not represent a large amount of the total ICO.

We didn't have a third party escrow, but during the ICO all funds will be locked into a smart contract vault.

The fund will only be forward to Sandblock multisig wallet if the min cap is reached. However, if not, all funds will be refunded.

We'll make the ICO's smarts contracts open source soon. You can thus verify by yourself the mechanism put in place to ensure the safety of our investors.

I love the mission of this project, providing satisfaction to the customer is very important as the customers are the key to make the project successful.
If they can achieve their mission I'm sure that its a win win situation to both sides, to the customers and to the project owner.

Interesting project. I think anyone interested in excellent customer service should be interested in this project. I have just downloaded the white paper. What captured my eyes was,"worldwide loyalty coalition of merchants and customers". We all know how customers sometimes get the back end of the stick. Sandblock seems to want to change that.

Hello entar pasar, Satisfaction Token which are ERC20 token, have a limited supply and will be minted during the ICO. So, the maximum supply of the token will depend of the crowdsale but will remain constant after the end of the ICO.

Hello llhibionada. Yes, there will be transaction fees (some gas), but they will be kept as low as possible.

The process of withdrawal is described in the schema below, a customer decides to withdraw their merchant tokens (MTs), by sending MTs they unlock the SATs from the merchant program, a part of those SATs directly goes to the Merchant (exit fee), another part is burnt (eco fee) in order to balance the economy and the rest is sent to the customer. The MTs are then burned as they do not have a SAT underlying value anymore.

Its good to see that this project plans to use blockchain to prevent fraud, malicious actions, and verify transactions to ensure that each actor in the ecosystem gets rewarded as intended.

This project has a potential to be big. We all know how loyalty point accumulation and cards have been big for the past couple of years. From airlines to clothing shops. This is the project to keep these retailers accountable and boost customer satisfaction.

Of course customer satisfaction is based on a lot of criteria, what we are building is the protocol that will ensure the balance and fairness in the relationships between merchants and customers as well as the relationship between multiple merchants. We are not trying to guarantee customer satisfaction, which is only something possible by the merchant. By creating this framework, we aim to improve and give more value to those customer, merchant relationships. For example by giving customers the opportunity to give their opinion freely and be rewarded even if they are not satisfied, or to give customers the opportunity to exchange loyalty rewards with each other and not be locked anymore in merchants programs they do not wish to participate in. Or give merchants the capability to acquire new customers from user referrals or other merchants from the coalition.

If the SAT goes from 30cts to $6500 it will mean that the project has evolved as we would like and that we have succeeded in creating the first worldwide loyalty coalition of merchants and customers.

It will also mean a lot of work for us, because we'll have to continue to support new merchants wishing to join the coalition and maybe offer other services related to the SAT.

The protocol that is core to this project is the Satisfaction Protocol. It is open source with multiple sub-protocols, such as the loyalty, feedback and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) protocols. It is decentralised, based on smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain, and handles the rewards attributions as well as the various merchant rules.

I think it will succeed. Maintaining relationships for customers and merchants is something any business owner wants. Good idea and wait for the project.

The Feedback protocol will be handled by doing a market research aspect. It will gives merchants the capability to seamlessly conduct research about the satisfaction of their customers and reward them for their engagement. When setting up a feedback program, businesses can choose a type of feedback (review, 5-star rating, survey, etc), the subset of customers they want to target, the conditions of the feedback as well as the reward. Once validated, the feedback protocol generates a smart contract that will autonomously handle everything.

I wonder how could sandblock be so beneficial in terms of transaction basis? I mean as we all know bitcoin transactions are getting larger and larger, is there i way that sandblock could be used as a tool to lessen the transaction cost and make transactions faster?

That is a big obstacle for Sandblock. However Bitcoin is a high transaction cost and takes a lot of time, it is not free and transactions aren't fast because there are so many Bitcoin trade.

Good question. I couldn't help but giggle a little after seeing your question because what you are asking is exactly what they will be doing to retailers. It really would be interesting to see how they rate.

The advantage of using blockchain for this service is that everyone is able to know for which transaction the user has given a rating. It adds transparency to prevent fraud. Furthermore, if a merchant still manages to cheat and the fraud is revealed, there is a good chance that the merchant will be excluded from the coalition.

I mean how do you decide what price  should be offered for 1 SAT or any cryptocurrency when it is launched . You could place it for some 1000 usd also the why you placed it for only what you have mentioned above ?

tramp game within this apps is very funny ,but a little difficult for me.

I think this is one of the few applications that can highly influence people to get into Cryptocurrencies. Rewarding loyalty for a project is a step towards mass adoption. Incentives generate more investors.

According to the Expectation Confirmation Theory, customer satisfaction is the comparison between a perceived experience and expectations. I think this project will be great.

Token
The Satisfaction (SAT) token is ERC20 compatible and built on the Ethereum blockchain. While the SAT token is ERC20, the branded tokens that are built on top of the SAT tokens are not. SAT tokens can be traded on exchanges while the branded tokens are limited for trade on the Sandblock ecosystem.
Sandblock characterizes it as a “utility” token. France, where Sandblock is registered, has turned a corner on the cryptocurrency market and has been welcoming innovation, including ICOs. But they have yet to develop a regulatory framework for new tokens, including whether they should be classified as securities.
Sandblock has assigned a hard cap of USD 8 million for its ICO at an exchange rate of 1 ETH = 3,000 SAT tokens. They accept Ethreum, bitcoin and bank cards, including Visa and Mastercard, as payment methods. The pre-sale is already 100% sold-out, suggesting there is great demand for the Sandblock project. The public crowdsale is scheduled for mid-May.
Merchant and other partners are incentivized to join the Sandblock platform sooner than later, as the cost for doing so rises as the number of SAT tokens are depleted.
Sandblock has capped the number of tokens at 55 million. Half of them will be offered for sale during the token generating event.
The TGE will be split into four separate tiers, and any unsold tokens resulting from each tier will be burnt. Following the crowdsale, the number of SAT tokens will be fixed and unalterable. The rate for the SAT token decreases in each phase of the public crowdsale.
The budget allocation isn’t bad, but there’s always a risk when a significant percentage of the fundraising will go toward development. In the case of Sandblock, the pre-ICO is a good indication they will raise the funds they require for product development.

Team
Sandblock is a young startup that was only founded in 2017. They feature an eight-person management team on the website as well as a group of strategic advisers, who have an impressive track record for advising successful ICOs.
Sarah-Diane Eck is the founder of Sandblock and face of the brand as head of marketing. She holds a “triple masters degree from the business school HEC, the engineering school AgroParisTech and the law university Pantheon-Assas (International Tax Law),” according to her biography. She also leads a French crypto-fueled charity where she is helping to shape the tax treatment of cryptocurrency donations.
Fabrice Bascoulergue is a product lead at Sandblock and is also the co-founder of a company called Flashgap. He’s had experience with the development of mobile apps for more than 1 million users, so that should come in handy with the development of the Sandblock mobile app for iOS and Android. Jeremy Grenier is also on the engineering team.

Verdict
The Sandblock project has the potential to resonate with consumers, given its focus on rewards programs as well as the anonymity of personal information. Major businesses have invested in successful loyalty rewards programs off- chain, and as more companies adopt the blockchain, Sandblock’s potential user base grows.
But major brands might not want to relinquish control of their rewards/loyalty points and might be keen to develop their own proprietary token-fueled programs. With the exception of the partner firms that are already on board with the project, there’s not much of a precedent to determine if merchants will play nice.

Risks
    Sandblock says it’s autonomous, yet it’s highly dependent on the participation of partner businesses and consumers for its success. -3
    There are also many moving parts. For instance, it’s not just the Satisfaction token at play but also the tokens of the many channel partners that must take off in order for the project to flourish. If it catches on like Kohl’s Cash, great. But for that to happen, Sandblock must be successful not only attracting businesses that are already on the blockchain but perhaps eventually traditional retailers whose brands consumers know and trust. -2
    The SAT token is being defined as a utility token. Considering that the partner tokens built on top of the SAT cryptocurrency will be assigned a value and are tradeable, however, it might resemble a security token to regulators. -3

Growth Opportunity
    The more that the blockchain and cryptocurrencies make their way into the mainstream, the greater the growth potential for a project like Sandblock that is fueled by consumer activity. Sandblock already boasts several key partnerships across a potential 5 million customers and more than 1,000 shops and online retailers. The partner list includes ETHlend, Innovorder for payments, Europe’s movinga, retailer EspacePlaisir, fashion brand Artumes & Co and Blue Points, another merchant rewards startup. +3 
    Many major brands are evaluating how they can integrate the blockchain into their businesses, with companies ranging from Sony to Starbucks filing for patents and exploring investments, respectively. This activity bodes well for a platform like Sandblock that is fueled by other brands using their platform to reward consumers. +2
    The Sandblock ecosystem is mobile-fueled with an app for both iOS and Android, which is sure to prove an attractive feature for millennials. +4
    Successful pre-ICO could be a harbinger for similar results with the public crowdsale. +3
    The management team is impressive and the list of veteran strategic advisers adds heft to the deal. +3

concept of having a app for sat tokens is very good and interesting.Having a app for earning SAT tokens is very feasible for me easily earn the tokens without using the personal computer or laptop which is very handy for me.

Bounty ends when token sale ends (around mid june!), and you can now earn DRT tokens from sandblock app.

There was a Easter egg bounty when you could earn many BSATs they will be converted to real SAT tokens after bounty end and you will be able to spend them.

why does it take too long for ICO. 1 year!

Ico is coming to an end on June 16, token distribution is shortly there after. What you are talking about?

they list the coin in coinrail - the exchange for korean only. That mean no one could buy-sell. That's the plan, that's the korean, same as EBcoin.

SAT yesterday got listed on Gatecoin and Coinrail, there are no sell orders and dirt cheap buy bids. They should have promoted SAT listing on forkdelta so there could have been some hype before listing on centralized exchanges.

You need to have some patience. It's literally been a month since completion of ico.

I like the concept and this is definitely a huge market to address. They do have an application which is a huge plus, and the game Trumpy Bird is really addictive. Their advisory board looks really great and should be able to guide them through the tough decisions after the ICO which is reassuring.
