Title: Journey from .15 btc to a motorcycle (32 btc) via sports betting OVER 1 BTC NOW!
Post by: xboxgames on June 08, 2013, 05:59:51 PM
Starting today, I am attempting to go from .15 btc to 30 btc to buy a bike listed on bitmit. It will probably not be listed if I get to my goal, but its worth a shot.

THESE PEOPLE HAVE SENT ME BTC TO JOIN ME IN THIS JOURNEY.  I AM PLACING THE SAME BETS FOR THEM AS I AM MYSELF, SO THEY CAN MAKE SOME MONEY ALONG WITH ME:

SuperBit has sent .8308 btc, and I will place the same bets and bet amounts as what I place for myself in this thread
DebitMe has .8308 btc, and I will place the same bets and bet amounts as what I place for myself in this thread
Optimator has sent me 5BTC to use to place the same bets, but I will be betting more on each bet for him.  Same games though.
ShooToo has sent me 1BTC to use to place the same bets, but I will be betting more on each bet for him.  Same games though.
WillThePill has sent me 1BTC to use to place the same bets, but I will be betting more on each bet for him.  Same games though.
TheTortoise has sent me .274 to use to place the same bets, I will be betting less than my bets for him.  Same games though.
ThisIsGil has sent me .78 to use to place the same bets, I will be betting less than my bets for him.  Same games though.
RavinTavin has sent me 5BTC to use to place the same bets, but I will be betting more on each bet for HER.  Same games though. ALSO, SHE DONATED .1BTC DIRECTLY TO THE BIKE FUND

Current Bankroll:  1.1197 btc

I will post stats and my picks each day here.

Each betting unit will be .01 btc. Feel free to follow this thread, and if you would like to join bitbook.biz please pm me and use me as a referral, and if I make my goal and you place bets with me as your referral, ill transfer you a part of what I make from referrals.

I will be using three different sports books as of now.  They are:

https://casinobitco.in
https://bitbook.biz/?referer=xboxgames
http://bitcoinsports.eu/

Casinobitco.in has graciously credited my account with .1 btc worth of credits on their site to help towards this challenge.  I will be reporting back in this thread during the progress of it as to how fast their payouts are, customer service, etc., good or bad.  I appreciate their rep reaching out to me.

http://bit777.com contacted me and provided me a .10 freeroll, with the stipulation of I got to play three games on their site, if I lost, they would refund me.  If I won, I could cash out and apply wiinings to this challenge.  I ended up winning .12, and they sent me an additional .1, so they contributed .22 to this goal.  Thanks, bit777!

The rep from casinobitco.in has contacted me after seeing this thread, and has asked me to check out their site.  They were very interested in my concept of building from nothing to something, and have credited my account with .1 btc.

I agreed to report as to their payouts, customer service,  etc during this challenge.  I notified them that although they have credited my account, I will not sugar coat any reviews.

Thank you for the bankroll boost to help this challenge get completed, and I look forward to testing your new site during this challenger.

I find this a very interesting thread. When you make the bets, once the events end, can you also update us with the results (won/lost; current balance), so we can keep track of your progress.

Looks like an interesting thing to follow! But if you want to go from .15 to 30, you may want to learn math first, otherwise you'll lose everything, :p. For the record, what I'm referring to is your count of 5 wins + 3 losses + 0 pushes equaling 9. 5+3+0 is 8.

Regardless, I'll follow this, and good luck!

I'm referring to is your count of 5 wins + 3 losses

I can make 100 bets and none of them have a result yet so I would have 100 bets with 0 wins and 0 losses.

What is your method anyways? Just going based on stated odds and hoping for the best, or using knowledge of performance to try and evaluate who will win?

I follow sports a lot. I'm def not a pro handicapper though. I will take some iffy picks if odds are there though.

Curious, are you increasing your bets as you go up? Ex. when you hit like 3 BTC are you going to be risking more like .15-.25 per game?

Yes. I'm already risking a lot.  I'm going bust or boom. This is a rush job. Example...have .19 btc on atlanta tonight.

Going bust or boom will never work in the long run. You have to be prepared for a losing streak. No matter how good you are you will still experience a losing streak, especially with sports betting.

This is my thought as well. What you're doing is like the people who go all-in every hand in poker. You may jump up a lot, but you have to know when to slow down.

I was asking your bet amount because I was wondering how you're bankroll management was going.

Agree. And I have good BRM normally.  This is a challenge, I'll slow down and speed up on this. This is supposed to be a fun thing, with a chance to get a bike.  I don't want to drag it on, but get results good or bad.  Enjoy it with me!

Got ya! Maybe putting in good BR management would help when you get half-way to the goal or so. I think that would give the thrill of going fast without the risk of getting most of the way and dropping it all.

Ugh, noticed I changed my last comment half-way through and misused "you're." Was going to say "...wondering how you're handling bankroll..." and then changed it half-way, XD.

I guess this is yes and no.

I did not go busto last night.  My bankroll was about .243 still

I just topped up some, to be able to bet a little bigger, after all, the bike won't be available forever :)

Also, I may have someone who wants to piggy back off of my picks, and they may match my current bankroll.  They will get access to a spreadsheet with all the picks sorted, and will receive their share of the profits either daily, weekly, or monthly, thier choice.

The bankroll amount shown in this thread though is just MY current bankroll.

If anyone else wants to piggyback, PM me.

Actually, I lied.  I hit a bet I forgot about, that was delayed from yesterday.  So my running balance is .4988, without me topping up.  However, I am going to leve it in there, to boost myself a bit.  So my balance is at .8308

I have received a partnership with a member here, who has sent me 5BTC of theirs to bet alongside my bets.  I am keeping this btc out of the running total, and will be placing the same bets that I make here with their BTC.

If the person would like to confirm, they may, if not, they can remain annon.

If anyone else wants in, you can Pm or post.  I have created a spreadsheet for them to follow which shows their current balance, and they may withdrawl their btc at any time.

For the record, a few people have sent me BTC to bet along with my bets, and I have opened individual spreadsheets for each of them to track their investments.  Any of them may withdrawl at any time.

SuperBit has matched my Starting Bankroll as of today, and I will place the same bets and bet amounts as what I place for myself in this thread
DebitMe has matched my Starting Bankroll as of today, and I will place the same bets and bet amounts as what I place for myself in this thread
Optimator has sent me 5BTC to use to place the same bets, but I will be betting more on each bet for him.  Same games though.

Posting this for the public record, that I hold funds for each of these indiviuals.

If anyone else wants to join in, you may.  PM me or post, and we can discuss.  You will get your own spreadsheet to follow, and can cash in and out immediately and anytime you wish (unless I am asleep obviously).

Offer open still, if you want to join the ride let me know, you can get started on today's picks, make some btc, and be a part of this epic journey :)

Exactly! This is unbelievably cool. To take .15 to 32 btc means you have to double your money 8 times. Crazy hard. The hardest part has to be the start and xboxgames has already doubled his money. To have something on the line makes it more exciting to watch, but it's a great challenge regardless.

I have been transparent throughout, plan to keep it that way, that being said:

I agree that the first part is the hardest.  Starting at .15 leaves super little room to wiggle.  I got it to .8 ish....still not a comfort zone quite yet.

I honestly think that once my own bankroll for this hits 5 btc, that I have a great chance.  However, to double 2+ times already...I am starting to get confident that it is achievable.

Having the bike on the line makes it more interesting, because of the time frame element it adds.  That bike can sell at any time.  So the need to stay at it and keep building adds pressure and drama.

I really appreciate the followers of this thread, and especially those that have joined me by sending funds for me to bet my picks for them alongside mine.  They agreed to donate a percentage of their profits to this challenge, which makes this even more achievable.

I said at the beginning this will be epic.  Keep watching.  Bust or Bike, 2013.  This has me pumped, and thank you all for commenting and following along.  Now lets win these darn bets :)

One more comment.  If I get really close, say 28btc....  It is going to be extremely hard to not just say, as poker players say, ALL IN, and put 4btc on one game I really like, and try to get there.  We will see when the time comes.  :)

ShooToo has sent me 1BTC to use to place the same bets, but I will be betting more on each bet for him.  Same games though.
WillThePill has sent me 1BTC to use to place the same bets, but I will be betting more on each bet for him.  Same games though.

Here is my pledge, if you get the bankroll to 27 btc, I will "tip" you the extra 5 to get you to 32.  So you end up getting 32 and I get 22 Btc.  I would encourage the others that are "going along for the ride" to make similar offerings, because lets face it, a return of 2550% is amazing and commendable ((22-.83)/.83)=25.50.

That is an amazing goal and I wish you luck and support your efforts (obvious from my "investing" in you).  Personally I have gone from putting $200 on Oddsmaker to just over $1000 or a 400% increase, and was very happy with that.  But I hope that you can blow me out of the water.

On a side note, I have made a pretty good return by betting on the Kansas City Royals against ... it doesnt matter... to score under a certain number of runs in a game.  I usually bet the under when this is around 8 or 9 points total.  This is def a good bet when James Shields is pitching.  I am from KC and love to see them win, but I also make a good return when they win with a low scoring game.  Just something to think about and look at, thought I would mention it as I have made around 200 bucks with pretty small bets (about 30 bucks a game) pretty consistently this year.

I just received a message from the spokesperson from http://bit777.com

They have expressed an interest in trying to help me reach my goal, and have offered the following:

Hey,

We would like to contribute a little bit to your journey. Let's test your luck.

We will let you deposit 0.10BTC, and make 3 risk-free bets on any game. If you win, submit a withdrawal and keep whatever winnings you get, if you lose or your balance is under 0.10 BTC, we will refund your full 0.10BTC.

The risk-free betting will count only for 3 bets, so use them wisely.

I am posting to let the members following this challenge see that this company has an interest in helping me achieve my goal, and to keep my challenge transparent.  I will be doing this now, and after 3 bets, I will add any winnings to my current bankroll.  Thanks!

So, I deposited onto http://bit777.com .10 btc, per the terms that was offered by Bit777.  Here are my results, and also my feeling towards this casino.

This is a pretty smooth looking site.  I do not normally play casino games online.  I had not been onto their site before, and I must say, its pretty slick.  Super nice graphics, and very responsive.  I will check them out after this challenge for sure!

Now, the results.

I was given a 3 game freeroll basically.  I chose blackjack, because at least in a real casino, the house edge is the least in it.

.10 btc = 10 chips.

My first bet I placed was for 3 chips.  I lost.

I then bet 4 chips, and won.

For my last bet, I bet all 11 chips.  I was dealt 10, dealer had a mid number showing.  I hit, got 15, so I stood, and the dealer busted.

I cashed in .1, cashed out .22

Adding .12 to bankroll :)

Thank you bit777.com :)  I will be back to try out more of what you offer after this is over.

Were the odds in Jankovic's favor so much so for that Tennis Match that the win on a .15 bet was only .0195?  That seems like very low odds, but I have never even seen odds on a tennis match so maybe thats normal?

For the record, a few people have sent me BTC to bet along with my bets, and I have opened individual spreadsheets for each of them to track their investments.  Any of them may withdrawl at any time.

If anyone wants to join I'm about to set up bets for the day and send out spreadsheets to the new investors. Let me know!

Does anyone know a good app to track bets so they can be input during the day and followed easily.

I found one called bettracker but it costs money for more then 3 bets.  Maybe a sportsbook app that lets you bet play money would work?

This is the best so far, but again very limited in how many bets u can follow.  It would be awesome if users could input their picks and other users could subscribe to what handicappers they want to follow.

I have the GF's birthday party to host tonight, so I wont be on at all until very late.  Good luck with any bets tonight, hoping to be over 1 Btc by the time I get back. lol. But seriously good luck.

I used to bet on bovada.  My first year, a few years back I lost money.  Each year since I've ended positive.   Not obscenely huge, but pretty decent.

You're winning bitcoins but youre losing physical money.

Now you just have to figure out a way to hedge the losses in BTC cost per unit now at $100.98.  At $3400 you are now looking at 33.66 BTC

https://www.bitmit.net/en/item/35918-2003-buell-firebolt-xb9r

I have a job and I have some money.  If I make the goal, I will pay cash for the remainder, but I think BTC will go back up anyways, so it'll be ok.  Or, I will just win the extra... .15 to 33.xx :)

Current Bankroll:  1.145 btc

I will post stats and my picks each day here.

Each betting unit will be .01 btc. Feel free to follow this thread, and if you would like to join bitbook.biz please pm me and use me as a referral, and if I make my goal and you place bets with me as your referral, ill transfer you a part of what I make from referrals.

I will be using three different sports books as of now.  They are:

https://casinobitco.in
https://bitbook.biz/?referer=xboxgames
http://bitcoinsports.eu/wat kinda bike

Wins: 32

Losses: 24

Pushes: 1

Total games bet: 61

Total units wagered: 326

Starting btc balance: .15

Current btc balance: 1.145

Don't worry, Ranlo. In the future I will be doing sports betting with a revolutionary new currency called "Bitcoins." When I achieve this greatness, I will start by proving my ability by turning approximately 0.15 Bitcoins into 32 Bitcoins. Upon its success, I will then purchase you a brand new 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo. You have my word!

Also, another one for today:

KC/Cle under 8, .12

Go Royals, my favorite days are when they win by 1 or 2 and keep the total score under 8 or 9.  They have made me a couple of hundred dollars this year by simply betting about 30 to 40 bucks each game on that.  Plus the Royals are my team and they are coming back to hopefully end with a good year!

Can you respond to my PM and let me know what's going on? Been 4 hours and haven't got nothing after you said a few minutes... hoping you are just busy or something.

Bought 3 BTC from xboxgames and he hasn't sent them yet. Figured with people sending him and trusting him with their BTC it would be fine to send first and skip escrow. Last time that happens.

I'll delete this post once I get them. Might just be busy but who knows, going on 5 hours now.

I wasn't scammed, but bitcoin is a high trust endeavor. Check the second link, bitcoin has seen this sort of thing many times before. Friendliness and cleverness are not things to automatically throw trust in when payments can't be reversed.

Doesn't seem like a scam because why scam when there are still people willing to invest... The scam comes when you pick a few losers and then people want to bail out... Not worried yet. Let's stop bashing the guy and give him a chance :) its only been a few hours and people complaining with less than 20 posts....

People are willing to invest because the accusations are just now coming out, and people don't know better. This is unfortunately common it bitcoin.

One of the people accusing him engaged in an honest and smooth trade with me yesterday. I hate to see people who trade honestly and smoothly get fucked because they aren't jaded enough to be versed in the finer points of making the scammer get caught when they scam.

I bought BTC from xboxgames. PAID but never received them. This has NOTHING to do with this thread or his sports picks. I'm just warning people.

If it does turn out to be a scam, and i'm not saying it is since it hasn't even been a full 24 hours and their could be a legit reason in the delay. Then it's completely my fault. I sent him a moneypak without escrow, trusting he would send me the bitcoins. I NEVER do this but today I was in a rush and took a chance.

But cmon, he said he was ready to do the transfer. Then he kept telling me a couple of minutes, couple of minutes and nothing after 10+ hours. Now RavinTavin, you posted you sent him 5 BTC. You posted this AFTER I sent xboxgames the moneypak. So he can accept BTC, places bets using BTC but can't send me the coins? What am I suppose to think? and then ostr1234 comes forward and basically says the same thing happened to him and he has been waiting 2 days?

so once again, this has NOTHING to do with this thread. I just wanted to give people a heads up. My fault for not using escrow, I know. Lesson learned.

If I do happen to get the BTC, I'll delete my posts and apologize.

I have to finish up some more work and then I will take and post screenshots of the private messages sent back and forth.

You can thank TradeFortress for that. I had a smaller link to that post of his, but then he had that offer to compensate for signature links. I figured I might as well take compensation from a link I'd have in my signature anyway.

It's a gamble whatever way you look at it. By investing in xbox, I took a calculated risk in full knowledge that I may not see any coins again. Of course if it is an elaborate scam, that will suck, but I was prepared for a worst case scenario of losing my investment anyhow, so that does somewhat soften any potential blow.

Hopefully, the only btc that people threw into this were those that they could afford to lose. You should never gamble with money you need for living - that's basically gambling 101.

Regardless, I am of the opinion that xbox is legit, and I'm certainly not going to join the mini witchhunt and pointing the finger in this thread. Yes, xbox could probably do himself a favour by at least posting to quell everybody's fears, but I understand that life often gets in the way of things and unlike some people on this forum, myself and xbox are members of the elite having-a-job-and-a-life club ;)

Give it a few days - if you hear nothing from him by then, go ahead - freak out. In the meantime, remain civil and corteous no matter how concerned you may feel. We could all potentially benefit here and there's nothing to be gained by driving someone away who may make us all (slightly) richer!

Although I believe xbox is legit , the 'wait couple more hours - 1 day' deal wont work on these fella's because some of them says he scammed them 2-3 days ago already , so they have been waiting , this is probably their last stop :D I hope xbox will clear these accusations because I think he build a good rep here

This is so sad. I had high hopes for this thread, it was just starting to get really popular and interesting. Such a shame. Maybe he got enough money to buy the motorcycle and decided to split.

Oh come on! His last post in this thread was literally only 10 hours ago. People do have to work, sleep, spend time with families etc!

Can we give it a good solid 48 hours before we jump into full on burn the witch mode please?

I agree we should give him some more time, but check his profile and trust history. 2 days ago he got 5btc for a moneypak but still hasn't paid. He's also been logged in after the accusations started.

Welp - if it helps calm anybody's nerves, I just checked my private betting sheet and he's still on there adding to it and updating - if it's a scam I'm unsure he'd still be going to the time and effort to update the multitude of private sheets he's keeping for us all.

Like I said - please cool off everyone. Give him the opportunity to explain. Innocent until proven guilty, right?

I'm quite surprised that he hasn't defended himself at all today. Seems like he has logged in today but hasn't posted anything. Considering the accusations being put his way it's a bit concerning for any investors.

Fingers crossed this is resolved shortly

I hate the fact that this topic turned into a witch hunt , I mean shouldnt there be a seperate stuff about this? We here believe in him , hopefully this will change anytime now as he will write here and set things straight . He has almost 10 btc on his name and he still updates everyday , why not run away with it after the accusations if you are really a scammer and just stay and update ? :D I believe he is not a scammer , people who think he is should open up a new topic rather than writing here.

Welsh as you can see my profile I'm new to the community. I had no idea to keep the transaction public for proof. I had to many messages with him and I deleted them. Other than that I would be happy to show them public, Couple of them I have in my mailbox which I reported to Admin for proof. I was hoping for the best as he looked legit. It's been more 55 hours now and still nothing. And xboxgames has been logging in since our transaction. He can't even respond??? Come on.........

Got some bad news guys. I googled some of his account info and it seems likely he is this guy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167410.0

We don't normally do this sort of thing, of we'd have warned everyone right away. Really disappointing to see this stuff.

Yep. I PM a member in this thread (he can claim it if he wants) that this is the guy running this scam. I didn't follow this topic so I was unaware he was getting people to send him coin to gamble (why they don't do it themselves I have no clue).

Don't get your hope up on ever seeing your coin again. Moneypak is instant cash from an ATM. There is no excuse to take hours let alone days to complete your end shipping the coin.

I dont know because we wanted him to buy a bike with that money? We actually did wanted to give him %10 :D at least me.

It was either give him the money and he will deal with it or simply play them myself and give him only the %10 , the first one sounds much easier :D

I still trust him . I am as far as trusting enough to say , he will return peoples money , if he sends my money back for some reason for these events , I will send 5 btc back right away!! I write this here , if I fail to deliver this , I will pay all of you debts , otherwise you can count me as a scammer and give me a tittle.

Seriously, this is getting a bit old now.

When he's proven to have scammed us, let the floodgates open. But for now, can you all stop crapping up this thread in the gambling section with your relatively unsubstantiated claims as to the legitimacy of this betting syndicate?

I have no clue what you are all like in real life, but the lack of patience and ability to just wait 24 / 48 hours before launching into a tirade is making a few of you look borderline autistic.

Let it go and come back in 48 hours for an update - this is not life or death; There are bigger things in life to worry about and groundswell of popular opinion does not prove OP's legitimacy either way.

Time will tell and the truth will out. Until then, the only thing you're all doing is adding to the noise to signal ratio here.

It's been more than 55 hours already. He doesn't respond. before he was responding instant. Moneypack got to him instant and he said he has them ready and will send instantly next minute he confirms the mp. He can't even respond like he did before the transaction? I had patience and ability to wait 24/48 hours. i started to write about it after 36 hours since i send the mp with out recieving btc.  So please don't tell me to wait if it's obvious that he scammed us.

No. It's been more than 55 hours already since you had a problem with him. With a trade. My point is that if this all turns out to be a storm in a teacup, we now have about 20 whining posts crapping up this thread that have nothing at all to do with gambling and everything to do with trading.

Start a new post in the relevant section. Link to it here if you must. Just please, stop adding to the junk posts here.

I'm not accusing anyone... but if this was a scam, i'm sure he had a couple different accounts or people to play along. That's how it usually works, right?

Anyway, he logged in a couple of times according to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=126750 . Hopefully others see this thread and know not to deal with him.

He just pm'd me back after I asked for my money back, he said to give him a few days to "sort out some major life events and ill make sure all are compensated as promised"

I do not know what this means.  If he is going through something big, my condolences to him and his family.  If it is just another ploy and he is leading us on, then it seems that hope is lost and I am sorry to anyone (including myself) who lost on this.

I saw it as a fun ride, I knew the potential that it would be a scam, hence why I only put in .8303, and it was pretty fun.  I am not sure what will happen in a couple of days.  If he comes back and makes things right I will be happy to continue along this roller coaster of a ride to make some profit off of gambling.  Otherwise good luck on future endevours all who lost money here.

Yes, if it's something in his life which has made him have a set back then, I offer my condolences. I have had to delay things before because of real life issues many times. I normally try to contact them and offer additional interest/items.
You don't have to offer them additional things, but I hope everything is well.

I honestly though Xboxgames was legit, he was very transparent throughout everything he has done on the forums. Hopefully everything is well with him and his family and he can complete the orders which he has in the near future.

IMHO this started to become a dodgy scam when xboxgames started accepting loads of BTC from other people, I can't be the only person who saw this coming from a mile away. It went from an innocent rags to riches betting diary, to a massive investment scheme which has ended up profiting xboxgames a nice $1.5k of Bitcoin. Bad luck, guys.  :-\

So apparently, the way I see it, is that someone has some urgent and unforeseen personal circumstances, that by all accounts appear to be pretty damn serious, and people are lining up to make baseless accusations and generally shit all over him. What a fantastic community we're building here.

xboxgames: If you're reading this and need any help, drop me a PM. The btc is immaterial at the moment. I won't judge and I'm here if you need me.

At least you have those MFC coins Tavin. It might be too early for you to abandon bitcoin completely though if this fucker disappears. Head on over to #bitcoin-assets on Freenode IRC. Letting Mircea have some fun with you on there might be a rather profitable activity.

He may have personal life issues nobody is disputing this. But the fact he was able to accept multiple moneypaks from people and not send the BTC at the same time is ridiculous excuse to be honest. As we all know it takes seconds to conduct a BTC transfer so I don't buy this excuse one bit.

The guy even said the other day he went to a hotel/spa with his missus for the night, which I'm sure was around the time he was accepting money for coins.

Sorry guys, its reassuring that in this day and age that some people can still think the best of people in situations like this but I can't see you getting your money back, sorry to say.

Pretty much this part is where it is at. If you are selling BTC you better have them on hand, be online, and be ready to send them when you can confirm as soon as possible after you know what you've sent isn't crap.Even if he pays the MoneyPak traders back he has just generally engaged in some horrible practices for a person selling bitcoin.

xboxgames requested actual codes so I loaded them on the site and he purchased from the guest account.

I'm happy to load actual moneypaks for anyone needing to purchase one.

That has very little to do with the part where xboxgames is being accused of scamming new members out of MoneyPak funds

Not sending money to strangers promising fantastic investment returns simply because they could spin a fantastic narrative.

It was obviously a gamble in more than one way. I sent money to xbox fully aware of the likelihood of not seeing any return. Like I said above, the first rule of gambling is that you never invest more than you are willing to lose.

Maybe look for something related to Xbox. Or you could look at the scam accusations thread. I believe they listed a few possible alternative usernames.

What most likely happened was a kid had a small bit of BTC, nothing else really to his name. When entrusted with everyones BTC he went and gambled off the record to try and win more. Probably ended up losing it all then to continue "degen-ing" he scammed some people in the currency section. Hes now disappeared obviously.

It's just such a shame people do this, while it would've been so much fun if this was legit. Also, this ruins it for generous people like bit777, who actually helped him out, and I doubt he'd ever trust someone who does something like this again. It ruins peoples trust and ruins the fun. I hate it.

Makes sense, though he was doing pretty well on here at least (with the bets he claimed), so it's a bit odd that he would throw it all away. I know for a fact more people would have invested in him, and the amount he could have made off this (just by taking, say 10% of profits) would be massive. And if he lost it all, it had no consequence for him. I would LOVE the chance to be in a situation where I can risk other people's money without any risk to myself, and still get paid a portion of any winnings I get.

He was a scam artist. One of the reasons I held back and didn't invest. I was replying in a loan request and he jumped on and asked me. After a few searches I saw he asked a few people in the lending section. Yet, he criticised people when asking for coins. He's a fool. He could of made a lot more if he continued the way he was. Unless, he started to loose a lot of money. Then decided instead of risking it all and pissing people off because they invested in him. He would take all the money he could and run. Then start posting under a new account. I wouldn't be surprised if he has posted here under a alternative account. Just because we wouldn't expect it.

I think even tough I found a lot of info on him , 2000$ was a small amount to care for people . I lost all of my mining money whit my horrible 40 mh/s hashing , now they are all gone , I lost 0.27 btc which was as you can calculate takes over a full month of my computer being open. Thats not a lot of work I know :D but still it was my frist coins . I cant imagine people losing hundreds of dollars.

He should get a scammer tag now. I doubt he will be back using this account and most likely is already posting under a different name though so it's probably a waste of time.

So where are the people that wanted to give him more time and believed he would come through? ;D Looks like I saved others hundreds of dollars and BTC after all.

Omg thats so horrible , on the other hand I feel good about losing 0.277 bitcoin :D :D

How can noone go to court for multi million dollar scam?

I know admins are not reading this but if they are , keeping these type of scammers here without a tag is couraging others to scam. Just give them an IP ban , thats all we ask for. How can someone with 2000$+ scam still log in? Thats horrible.

The trust system in my opinion works much better. The trust is made by users and therefore much quicker. A scammer tag has to be made by a mod and that could take time.

They don't ban unless they're being very malicious, e.g giving out viruses. You know, "decentralized" structure and all that, as well as the fact that an ex-scammer may pay back BTC one day. Maybe (0.0001% chance) the OP is actually not a scammer.

Yeah, it really sucks :-\ Although I know, for instance RavinTavin did legitimately lose 5 BTC, which is terrible. :(

Coins per 24h at these conditions   0.0013 BTC

By this calculation if the difficulty doesnt change for higher I would need 213 days to recoup.

I dont know what else I can do , I am trying to sell my popmundo cash or my erepublik golds or what not , but its not that easy to do so.

You can use CoinFaucets (http://coinfaucets.tk) to help. It won't make you rich but you can run through all the faucets pretty quick during down time (and it keeps up with the timers/rotates them for you).
