We have developed dozens of customer loyalty apps over the past four years, and that's just the apps that can be published under the Appsolutely name. Even right now, we can confirm that establishments that will be part of the LoyalCoin system are Pizza Studio (pizza restaurant in the Philippines, imported from the US), Gong Cha (milk tea chain in the Philippines, imported from Taiwan), and the University of Texas. We are currently in talks with numerous merchants such as ThaiRoute (market-leading transportation booking system in Thailand) 7-Eleven Thailand (convenience store chain), Bistro Group (Philippine restaurant chain that has imported brands such as TGI Friday's, Denny's, and more American casual dining chain), and FamilyMart (Japanese convenience store chain imported to the Philippines), among many others.

The Philippines has released a set of guidelines for bitcoin exchanges in the country last February (https://www.coindesk.com/philippines-just-released-new-rules-bitcoin-exchanges/). Long story short, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), the country's central bank, only set security requirements and will only step in when the crypto is used in money laundering and terrorism financing activities. In August, the BSP granted licenses (https://www.coindesk.com/philippines-central-bank-grants-first-cryptocurrency-exchange-licenses/) to two cryptocurrency exchanges, and this is the exact type of license that we are in the process of getting. As for the general sentiment regarding crypto, the BSP is striking a positive tone (https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-fast-near-real-time-convenient-philippines-central-bank-official/), in contrast to the heavy-handed approach of some of our neighbors.

To be honest, we are quite bullish about our prospects. Our current legal head, Richard Funk II, is a lawyer who headed the central bank's anti-money laundering compliance division. Needless to say, we have quite some skin in the regulatory game.

I clearly see starbucks logo here https://appsolutely.ph/ and it is your cooperation with them what matters for me as investor (obviously I don't see their logo anywhere in the links you provided above). If you have starbucks on board - I'll throw my money at you, but I care little about other companies in your portfolio.

When companies approach Appsolutely for our services, we develop the full program for them, unless they request otherwise. We own the patent in the Philippines for digital customer loyalty programs (proof: searching this database (http://onlineservices.ipophil.gov.ph/ipophilsearch/) for the old file number 22014000462 will bring up the exact patent owned by our CEO.) This intellectual property, alongside other assets, enables us to offer a full digital loyalty service to our clients.

Hence, our capabilities in the digital loyalty front involve various fronts, such as sales and marketing, web and app development, corporate relations, and more. Creating loyalty program apps is just one part of the whole solutions suite we provide, as we also handle the point-of-sale systems' integration of loyalty programs and other company-related arrangements. We also collaborate with each of our clients for the exact specifications they want for the program.

As for Starbucks, we can confirm that Starbucks Philippines is one of our clients, and that we signed a contract with them for an ongoing deal. That's the extent of what I can reveal so far on that matter.

Hmm, this seems real. I've been working for a travel agency for quite a time and learned that, for an instance, airlines are getting more money selling mileage than actual tickets. This will happen to a lot more things in the future, which will certainly create a great market to compete on.

As for your comment about supply, we pegged it as such (10 billion for all LoyalCoins, including 4.75 billion for the launch) based on how much we intend to raise (up to $19 million, or $0.004 per LoyalCoin) and so that LoyalCoin is more accessible to the general public and let more people use our platform as early as possible.

After all, we're talking about rewards points here, and there's a lot of wastage going on in that front. Colloquy estimated that in the US alone, $50 billion worth of rewards points and air miles go unredeemed, and that's just as of 2011. In Canada, it's C$16 billion as of 2017. So our pricing and supply peg is actually more reasonable that at first glance, because of those humongous rewards points wastage that we're aiming to end via the blockchain

We do hope that LoyalCoin becomes one of the stable coins around the cryptocurrency world, because after all, we're linked to real-world applications such as rewards redemptions, which have set values and are market-oriented.

I love this coin! I love the potential, partnerships, and the market. However, I am concerned about the bad reviews on the appstore for appsolutely apps. Those claim that the app frequently crashes, and doesnt really get updated. Any extra information would be helpful :)

I still dont think that a decision should be influences by 2 bad reviews, as this cant represent the whole amount. In fact this is strange to me, because at least in Android every seems happy and Appsolutely's Apps have good rating. There are millions of users of our Apps, you can be sure as i stated yesterdya, that if there is any bug, developers will solve it as soon as possible, either for Android or iOS.. it doesn't matter, as we wont leave anyone unattended. To put this into perspective, the United States is quite strict when it comes to investment regulations. Only accredited investors can partake in private placements of securities. While some people would urge all cryptocurrency ICOs are tokens and not securities, regulators will have a very different opinion regarding this matter. A  lot of the ICOs we have seen can be labeled as traditional sales of equity.

As is to be expected, the team organizing a cryptocurrency ICO cannot guarantee only accredited US investors will partake. They can take the necessary steps to prevent most US citizens from investing, although these measures can be bypassed. Right now, the ICOs tend to ask if you are a US citizen, but there is no verification of whether or not one speaks the truth. Some projects use geolocation to block US citizens, but those can be bypassed with a proxy or VPN. It is impossible to prevent US citizens from participating, but these measures have to be taken regardless.

Some of the bigger cryptocurrency ICOs will ensure they hire lawyers who can create a more “workable” environment for interested parties. If they would not take these steps, their entire token sale would be liable to criminal charges in the US. That is, assuming the SEC would ever decide to investigate a particular crowdsale for those specific reasons. It is highly unlikely that will happen, even though the SEC is looking to regulate ICOs moving forward.

Once the SEC will effectively intervene in cryptocurrency ICOs – which is only a matter of time – things will get very interesting, to say the least. A lot of previous ICOs didn’t take the necessary steps to “deny” US citizens from investing. All of those projects and their teams are at the mercy of the SEC for the time being. Violating US securities laws is not something anyone wants to deal with. Additionally, these laws can also be enforced upon non-US companies, which makes it even more important to take countermeasures.

It is evident this unregulated space will be of keen interest to financial watchdogs all over the world in the coming years. The bigger question is how many companies will get burnt for not doing their due diligence. It is bad enough to know most of these projects may ultimately fail. Worrying about future criminal charges will certainly have a big impact on all of these crowdsales moving forward.

Public key is your NEM address while private key is your password or security key.

Try not to copy private key from mobile phone and email to yourself...because now you have your private key floating around in email...which is not good sometimes.

So it is long...but take the time to type out the private key on your desktop computer, then copy from your desktop text document to your NEM NANO Wallet application.

I recommend typing the private key onto a text document first on your desktop....then check the numbers and letters again. Then copy and paste from desktop text document to the NEM nano wallet field when it asks to enter private key.

All contributors should completed the KYC. If the certain person chanhed their NEM wallet to their email address it means that the system detected a multiple use of that wallet therefore contributor should send an email to tech team change the address.

Philippine blockchain company LoyalCoin has forged a partnership with ride-hailing app, Grab Philippines.

The partnership allows LoyalWallet users to use their LoyalCoin to redeem P50 to P100 discounts on Grab rides, LoyalCoin said Monday.

LoyalWallet, the crypto’s digital wallet that can be downloaded from both Google Play and Apple Store, is the primary consumer hub for earning and spending the digital asset and conversion to other currencies.

“This alliance emphasizes our end goal in expediting nationwide adoption of blockchain technology,” said Patrick Palacios, CEO of LoyalCoin.

Martin Luchangco, Grab’s head of Business, the partnership is in line with the ride-hailing app’s goal of providing its consumers with services that support their everyday needs.
