I think Im pretty late for the ETH party. And ripple too bounced about 100%, missed that too. Is there any altcoin that is yet to born or just born, has a great potential as ETH or XRP? Your ideas?

NEO and OMG look to be primed, the only question is when some news will be released to trigger the pump. Could be a week, could be a year.

You may want to look at staking coins.  They generate more coins over time which means that if the coin appreciates in value, you  get even more return because you have more coins than you started with.  There are risks though.  Staking coins are going to only get more popular.  I suggest looking at RAIN and GRWI.

NEO and definitely cybermiles or (CMT). NEO already has a . lot of hype going round.

The one you have to look into would be cybermiles. Great idea, market fit, and strong team. They partnered with 5miles to implement their blockchain and then commercialize it for other businesses. Their ecosystem contains sellers, buyers, and my favorite, arbiters. Objective people that get paid to solve disputes (like sort of what paypal does but the community is the mediator). There's so much more, but you can only really grasp the whole picture in their whitepaper.

I've too heard a lot about cybermiles recently. And a bit of initial jump won't hurt. I bought XMR when it started to increase at $30 and still is in x3 profit.

i'm going to echo what other's posted above and go with NEO.  I was late to the ETH and BTC train as well but i think there will be opportunities in the near future. 

Ark have huge potential, all-in-one blockchain with so much money available for research and development.

well in my country, people hype for electroneum, u can buy 1 nov when people going to dump it. well, i heard people said the coin have a future because it's in the online games & gambling business. it's a for a long term.

don't be regret because there is many coins that you can choose if you can analyze each of coins and I am sure that you can make other profit with other coins. but if you are still want to buy eth and ripple, then I think you need to wait for a while until the price is getting down because of bitcoin price is increase. I think for new coins that already born is too risky because we don't know how good the coins to survive in the market and we can not analyze with all the things we can because the data is not enough.

XRP now in low price, you can buy and stock this coin, hold for long term, because xrp will ne back to high price..

If you are looking for appreciation, you have to think more mid-term valuation.

I think no one cares about ark but their feature is very good, coin that you must buy.

Most newer altcoins are still low in price. If you can take a risk and pick the good ones, chances are high that you will be rewarded with a huge profit. My personal favorites are:
1. Ardor (from the team that build up NXT in the past but with much more functions than NXT. This will be a big shit if accepted and used by other projects)
2. Verge (privacy coin with strong community and active development. Once they release their wraith protocol, price should start to rise sharply.)
3. Flik (very low market cap right now but a great team and community. Could be the next Netflix/Youtube hybrid.)

But you have to be patient until they deliver.

XVG Verge. Wraith Protocol will allow user to choose between total private transaction or public like bitcoin is. It is at 86 sat right now which is really low.

Take a look closely to Waves, NEO, Neblio. And IMO my favorite long investment is BAT.

I think these coins are great for future holding: Neo (superb community), Omisego (great pr), Waves (perfect roadmap), Ark (nice project), Bat (great product). I am planning to hold these coins.

I also own some ARK and NEO. As for a smaller altcoin that is still developing a following (since ARK and NEO seem to be well known), I would put up Deeponion. I'm not going to mindlessly shill, but I will at least mention them. The dev team really listens to the community and it was trading at $4 for about a week a few months ago,  it's currently just below $1 so I would put some money into it if I were you. I really like coins with a strong team and this team constantly puts out ";)" for the community. Plus their forum is really active. So you can't say no one told you about them now. :P

Beside ETH, best altcoin to buy now for future is WAVES. Because this altcoin strong in fundamental and the founder of WAVES also actively promoting the platform and blockchain technology of WAVES.

It's not that late to join the ETH party. It can still pump to another ATH as many thinks that it is going to be the next bitcoin though I already deployed most of my ETH now. Currently every altcoin who lost 10% or more of his price after yesterday is a good buy. After the fork the prices will drop 20-30% at least.

When BTC was trading at $100 per coin, people were saying that they missed the BTC party as well, and now the price is at 6k :)

Just think of it, we've come from one dollar to six thousand, and ETH went from zero point three dollars to three hundred dollars plus. What this means is that the party is still going! Just because the coin hasn't increased in value for the past 3-4 months doesn't mean the party is over. It took BTC many years to reach to the point it is now, and the only thing that is stopping it are the users themselves, which they don't seem to want to stop this anytime soon. Remember that it's the people who give BTC value and as long as they believe in it, we'll be seeing a steady growth. Let the naysayers keep on complaining about BTC and ETH and saying it's all a bubble. When BTC will be 50k in a couple of years and ETH over 3-5k, we'll see if people will still be asking if they're too late for the party.

For altcoins I will prefer Litecoin & Ethereum coins. Ethereum’s data processing is much faster than Bitcoin and value is increasing day by day. It is very difficult to say about a single coin that it will go to moon. If it was possible everyone try to buy that coin.
So it is good to invest three to five good coins. ETH is good at present price because its source of income is trading platform and will increase day by day.
Moreover WAVE, LTC, NEO are good to invest.

The token's price is always getting dumped after the token distribution.
Its better to buy the cheaper one after bounty hunter dumped it.

I think waves and Eth are somehow better altcoins to buy now. Bitcoin prices are also going higher and being reciprocal of it, all the altcoins are just going down. While crypto is becoming more and more popular we are nowhere close to the world being caught in a cryptomania, most people in the world have not invested any kind of money in bitcoin which tell to us when that happens we are going to see some ridiculous prices the ones we have only dreamed and I think it is not going to take that many years for us to reach that moment, at most I think it is going to take us a decade.

so far I have two types of coin that never get out of my monitoring, I always monitor the CAG and OXY from ico to slide into the market, in my opinion both coins have a very good potential in the future.

There's still no doubt that ETH is still the best altcoin out there. I mean the project is pretty solid, ICO using it as investment, the price is 'stable', I mean it you are for the long haul in altcoin then invest on it. not sure about sonm was a better coin. The only coin gets a lot of dump due to the investors already lost their lost to this project caused by the worst distribution. Even the team can't make the code to execute properly. I remember the distribution takes a month. The price already recovered a lot but it still below the ico price.

What distribution do you mean? The distribution of the tokens bought during ICO? As I got my from the ICO quite fast as I remember, nothing to complain there. But you are right, the trading price dumped a lot and traded eversince the ICO below the ICO price. Thats sad, but no big deal for longterm holders. I don't know man I believe we are in a very dangerous vector whenb ir comes to bbq coin and other innovative icos. iExec RLC 2018 might moon, Rubycoin 70% option, DigitalNote post ICO was innovative air launch but it failed to meet it's 800% target moon. Synereo innovated through new technologies all the way to this day but NEO might take it's place in the CMC. Price decline doesn't change litecoin's future honestly. I believe in it and it will grow with bitcoin eventually, sometimes dumps are normal. You can see them as correction waves.

I don't understand why you are targeting altcoins that are yet to be born or just born. For something new, basically no one can tell you what will happen. Yes, there are some good ides out there, some good projects, with good devolpers and good marketing teams, but will they stand test of time??? Who knows?

If you want good, secure invetment, invest in some crypto that already lasts for long time, and that gave and its still giving good ROI, and in that category DASH is the King. It just goes up and down, and you just need to buy it bellow 0.05 BTC and wait for it to jump 10, 20, or 30%.

If you want to make more than that, more than 100% ROI, than you should buy something that lasts for long time, but lost its value due to this ICO/FORKS hype, and will, most probably, outlive both of those two concepts. Something like QUARK.

So that is the all philosophy, buy cheap, sell expensive.

I think that omisego, stratis and waves are the most ambitious coins righ now. They have great vision for future. Their plans are awesome. Developers are active. PR is fine even. These 3 can make people rich.

ETH for sure. Ethereum is the platform of new altcoins. It will go up in the long-term

NEO is performing well. I was expecting them to go up but I wasn't expecting that fast. I couldn't even buy more and it started to go up like crazy. Sometimes you need some luck and good timing is important. I missed bigger opportunity this week.

 for me. the list of best altcoins to buy now for the future is first CREDENCE have a good platform and soon to launch. XCPO have a good background. ELTCOINS promising coins and last LITCOINS good profit small value .

As i predict earlier its eth. This is the coin in second palce next to btc. The price of eth is stable now. But in future surely it will become more and more in the coinmarket. It is good for long term investment. But we have to wait with the patience. This is the time to buy eth and hold it for future.

For ETH... You've not bounced of the party yet. It still has potentials. No time is a bad time to invest. BTC is the strongest of all. I won't  advice any alt coins for now. Stick to the known coins.

I don't think it's late for ETH. It's still under $400 and it has potential to go as high as Bitcoin in the future. You better buy before it's too late though.

The "usuals", BTC, ETH, XMR are gaining little by little but it's hard to say if their potential gain is as good. Even Iota just mooned a bit.
I think these will fall back -15% before new year. But, my previous prediction was BTC 10k before 2018, i'm gonna stick with that.

Yes, ETH has a good chance of climbing as bitcoin. Most of the ICO actively attracts investment through the ether and makes it more popular. The same can be said about the Waves. I see it as a good investment in the future.
