That's a lot of money I can understand how you are feeling right now but IMO just hold you're BTC it has a lot more potential and isn't it at on 6500$+? it was 7.5k like a week back.

Bitcoin is currently raise in market. Because past two days before bitcoin cash is developing in fast growth. All the miners are access in Bitcoin cash. But currently all of them reverse to Bitcoin. So today little amount is raise and tomorrow it reach peak in cryptocurrency. Don't worried about Bitcoin. This have great future in market. Once it will continuous fall. You should exchange the currency.

I'd sell 10% or so (7 BTC) so you'd at least get something out of it if the worst case scenario happens. The scenario of BTC being overtaken by BCC seems unlikely although one can never be certain of things in cryptoland.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by “average price 7500 USD”. If you mean you bought them at $7500 then definitely hold to make a profit. You shouldn’t sell now for a loss. I think the prospects are good for Bitcoin to make solid gains in the coming years. I wouldn’t worry too much about Bitcoin Cash because it will eventually have the same issues with transaction times when it’s blockchain gets more bogged down like Bitcoin’s.

I do not see any reason for selling bitcoins just hold and wait for some time bitcoin prices will go up again soon. It is evident that bitcoin prices are to  go up and since the last years the the development graph of bitcoin is good there is a always a food increase of price after every fall in price.

If that was my entry point then I wouldn't even consider selling right now, wait it out and bitcoin will recover in time. Honestly you may have to wait 3+ months for a decent return but it will get there. The only reason to sell would be because you feel you can recover your losses and then some elsewhere.

When there is a drop, one should then only buy bitcoin and then hold it for a period of time and have patience. And keep checking it's price and when you feel that you'll be in profit if you sell, then do so. There really is no specific time on when to sell or when to hold. It just depends on how a particular person uses it. But now you can hold some btc and sell like 10-20% of what you have now. If you really need to sell. Or else wait for some more time for the value of btc to rise and then sell. Good luck! :)

Hope you know bitcoin is a world best coin and why you think sell your bitcoin. You Told me that you are very wearied to bitcoin cash , it a very simple solution , you have a 70 Bitcoin so you can sell 35 BTC and buy Bitcoin cash . i thing your problem will be solve.

If you put so much money into something, and especially at the price you entered the market, it would make sense for you to do some actual research, because if you did, you wouldn't be asking this. You probably thought that Bitcoin would just continue to go up all the way to $10,000 and upwards without a correction or other things happening. Bitcoin Cash is nothing more than a pump and dump coin that at some point will not hold even 10% of its current value anymore. It's just waiting till the deep pockets (Jihan & Co) completely run out of coins to dump, and till that time, they will make it seem like their market is active and thriving.

As long as the price is high  there would be no problem in selling or holding bitcoin. You could earn in either of the two options. But in my opinion, it better to hold it and earn more in no time.

Hold on to it because it will be a large amount someday if you will not sell it now. Holding a bitcoin requires a lot of patience and if you want a vast amount of profit you should hold on to your bitcoin because you will be a big time if you know that the time is right.

I dont blame him. It is not easy to hold bitcoins specially when it goes down so low that it is hurting already.
But as I have seen in his posts, he bought bitcoin gold and other altcoins and he might have been profiting there too.

Exactly. Holding for today can make you a millionaire tomorrow. Always think about the future. Don't be affected on how the price is currently right now. Holding bitcoin takes discipline. You should resist the urge to sell even if you already earned twice of your investments. Think what would the price be after 1 or 2 years. When bitcoin becomes globally adopted. The demand will be increasingly high while the supply is limited. This will lead to the continuous increase in bitcoin's price.

We can't blame him really. Bitcoin cash manipulators are manipulating traders very well. They create panic and then they make people sell their bitcoin for BCH and other altcoins as a result.

Why sell any? I don't foresee anything on the horizon that is going to be a problem for bitcoins price. I would hold all 100%, I think you should be looking at tripling your investment or so inside the next 6 months and potentially more. If you need the money for something then sell some but I wouldn't. Although it is hard to say that when I am not the one sat on $1m worth of bitcoin right now.

That's a lot 70 bitcoin in the house. I hope that OP did just held those bitcoins that he got. That surely made him to be wealthy now if he just did nothing. Any update on what you did with those you've got there leveler? I hope that you didn't scared out yourself with bitcoin cash and you'll also get 70 bitcoin cash that you can just later on sell it to have more bitcoins.

70 btc is too big amount and very few people would be having that volume of bitcoins in their wallet and you can take your own decision whether to sell or hold as if you are satisfied with the price then you can sell certain percentage of it and hold rest for the future.

70 BTC is a lot. You shouldn't sell it all, but I would strongly suggest diversifying. This could result in lower return on investment, or might not, but regardless it protects you in case other currencies end up doing better.

As form the price chart of bitcoin from last few months it is good to hold your bitcoins for some more long time. Today it is of 12k usd. Might be next week or next month it reaches to 15k usd and then you may double of it as you said it was of 7500usd on an average.

If you are care like normal is with all this money i think the best thing to do will be sell a part of your bitcoin and keep the rest.

Bitcoin hold is better I too think because if we hold now means in future it much much high value at that only sell is better in bitcoin so time is main to sell and hold in the bitcoin system  or sell something at now and maximum by hold is the best .

Current price of Bitcoin is $13k which is a really high price .It totally depends upon you.Both the decisions will be right.You have 70 BTC ,if you will sell them at this rate you wil earn alot .But if you want to hold them then you can do that also because in future bitcoin will rise more so you will have a chance to sell your Bitcoin's at a more higher price which will give you more money.

My expression is like I'm riding a roller coaster and all I can say is wooaaaaah!  :o too many bitcoins. If you are good and want to settle your life sell 20 bitcoins and enjoy your life to the fullest while the remaining 50 bitcoins you just have to hold it.

I guess you hold for now. Btc is getting higher everyday. You'll make a lot of profit from it. Just imagine in less than a month you'll double your investment just by keeping btc in your wallet. In that amount of btc you have, you can sit down and wait for you money to make good bread and butter for you.

I know that this was posted almost a month ago and if you were able to hold your bitcoin just continue to hold it. Bitcoin price i think will continue to skyrocket until it get listed in 2018. People are realistically expecting it to be at $20,000.

As long bitcoin cash keep follow bitcoin, nothing too worry about it. You have to understand that bitcoin cash is not the main ( primary ) coin in the real market, it's just alternative income. For people who like challenge they will replace their money into bitcoin cash to create another opportunity making profit. But some people replace their money to understand how bitcoin works, same with others or not? ( learning ). I think keep " hold " for btc is good ( at this moment ), but this is your money your faith and your decision. I hope you'll keep hold and good luck.

I don't think so if that is true, well having that huge amount in bitcoin is very risky for you to save. Beware of many scammers and don't put your all eggs in one basket to ensure your stock bitcoin safe. Just hold your bitcoin it is more potential that bitcoin will continued rising up. But always the decision is yours just keep safe your bitcoin and don't other know your private key to avoid leak of being scam.

70 BTC? Seriously? What a rich person.  If I were you, I will just hold it than sell it. Bitcoin is growing so fast each day and I am very surprise that it is now 13K USD. But according to what I have read bitcoin already hits 14K USD. It only means that as the price of bitcoin grow, your earn profit and since it grow fast you earn fast.

About the bitcoin cash? What are you worrying about? Its price? That it may pass bitcoin on the days or months to come since it already passes ethereum? Well I think you have nothing to about. Up to now bitcoin is still the number one and the leading crpytocurrency.

Cause its your money.  But for me i not gonna sell it right now cause bitcoin still increasing and now bitcoin value hit 14k we are now heading to 15k so no doubt about it cause  We can noticed if bitcoin value goes down.  Just stay updated and seek some new about bitcoin growth rate if you worrying about the drop.  Then you can sell it right away when you notice that bitcoin value decreasing.

Have you been holding your Bitcoins? It is now at 14000 US dollars mark. Price of bitcoin is very volatile that you should observe its trend if you wanna profit a lot in the crypto world. You should hold if you think that it will still pump.

Well, since the average purchase price is around $7K, you are already in profit so technically you can take the risk at this stage considering the earned profit and current market levels. Even in the worst case of 50% correction, your capital amount would remain the same thus I would recommend holding for the long term. However, if you are looking to liquidate your investment then you can do that through systematic withdrawal plan.

As price already crossed 10k$ , so you can understand what may be more chances for the bitcoin price . As the price already crossed this limit , so here we can expect that the price of the bitcoin will not get back to $10k/btc because this is my natural analysis style that never get fails , so here you should not sell your bitcoin .
And also another reason here is that new forks are coming , so if you can have bitcoin in your wallet then surely you will be Able to make money by holding bitcoin in your wallet by equal amount after fork , that will be free money .

Given that the guy owns 70 bitcoin at 7k each average then he obviously already has a substantial level of wealth and so most of our inputs aren't so valid. Going from 500k to 1m isn't so critical. I would say you touched on the important thing that is that if he wants to withdraw it should be strategic and it shouldn't be an all or nothing decision.

By today's rate he already doubled his investments I hope he is still holding that 70 bitcoins.I think this is just the start of bitcoin price journey so it will reach moon soon,so it is better to hold our bitcoins then trade or investing on ICOs.

How to predict the big dive?

Study also about technical and fundamental analysis it will help you predict prices.

It's funny how a person can obtain large amounts of Bitcoin yet they don't know how to have their own exit plan. Now assuming that if you really have 70 BTC in your wallet wouldn't it be bad for you to listen someone else's advice that came from the internet? As you will receive a lot of different answer for just one question. If I were you I'll start to study technical analysis and at the same time create my own strategy from buying to selling in order for you to become an independent trader.

You earned huge amount by now if you still hold your bitcoins, the current price is $14k and still increasing every hour.

I monitor the price and i was skeptical at first if the value will increase because of the dips happened recently. But with the current state of btc it already surpassed my expected amount of it this month which is $10k.

Just keep holding because the value will surely rise in the coming years.

because i have to make it with the bitcoin hold you really need to sell it and I'm going down the price of bitcoin you also need it again to make it big, just like trading it will make you really sure you should have a bitcoin hold so you make a big deal, because I have to make it sooner and the bitcoin increase is less than you would expect the oppurtunity that the next day will increase its price and double the return on your investment.

you know most of us are also experiencing that kind of problem , not just op because bitcoin is really confusing and its really hard to decide whether you should still hold or sell it but yet 70 btc is already a big amount just by basing on todays current rate of bitcoin therfor i suggest to op is better if he can just withdraw it immediately or as early as possible before the value of bitcoin can go back down again. also it wont really hurt that much if he see's a significant price surge after he  sells his coins because he already made a big profit from that said amount. so better safe than sorry.

It's up to you. Though many people forecast that BTC will rise to $20000 or more, who can make sure it won't decline? It's hard to say. I suggest that if BTC makes you win what you expected before,  then you can sell them. Of course, if you are positive, you can hold it.

i think still bitcoin price is increasing we need to hold our bitcoin for right time when the rate cross 25$ then you need to sale your bitcoin because at that time you can get huge profit if you have a number of bitcoin but remember that it is not must you can also sale now if you can understand that you can earn profit by selling now.

70 Bitcoin is actually big but I think it is better if you keep on holding it. But if you are so worried about it, then just sell 70% of it and secure the 30% profit of yours so you can still have bitcoin in your wallet. In that case, you're actually gaining 100% because you bought it at $7500 price.

You were holding 70 btc when price was $7500 and right now price is almost $15k so you have already doubled your investments only by holding it and doing nothing with it so you want to even triple your investment my suggestion would be to keep on holding your coins without investing it anywhere as you already have an example in front of you that what you can achieve only by holding it.

That is very fantastic you have 70 bitcoin . Now i'm going to suggest you at first you need to calculate how many bitcoin is your seed money . Then you can sell your seed money and hold your profit only so it is not a panic for you hope you can understand my suggestion.

according to me, you need to hold your btc if we look at the price now, and maybe the price will reach higher and give you surprise, moreover there news that bitcoin fork will be launched soon. keep wait til you get huge profit from holding it.

You should sell half of them and double the profits and half you can save for the future purposes as this is the best opportunity to double your profits by selling it as if price crashes in coming days then you will regret for not selling at a right time so instead of getting greedy you should think practically.

Having 70 btc is having a lot of money, I'd advise you to figure out your capital bitcoin and sell it. You can then hold your remaining bitcoins i.e your profits.  This can then be used as your capital bitcoin, as bitcoin price is going higher day by day,  you will make profits soon.

As some of the others have already mentioned, you should only sell the the amount you have initially invested and hold the profits, this way you won't be taking any risks with your own money.

Seriously, that's a large amount of Bitcoin and with great power comes great responsibility. Even if you sell all your Bitcoins you can easily buy them at profit when market goes for correction or faces a crash. But on the whole saw, your profile and you seem to have lost many coins in the past due to wrong decision. So, at the present situation you should sell 10% of the Bitcoin and subsequently 10% as Bitcoin rise. Even if it starts to fall you will have time to sell your Bitcoin but on the whole reserve 50% bitcoin for your future.

I am sure you might have meant 70 Bitcoincash. Still if you have bitcoin, its now upto you. If you sell, you become so rich. But you still can turn over a lot, if yoj hold them as the peice is so so high and would reach $20K at the end of December 2017. Decide upon. Best of luck.

if I were in your place I would sell 50% (35 btc are currently about 450.000€! ) so I would not risk losing this big amount, and then with the remaining 50% (plus other fork!) I would have fun trading and holding them.

Bitcoin price may dump and continue to pump. So if I were you convert some and hold some of your btc. But if taking risks all hold it for long term. Because there are many predictions on btc that it might reach to $40k or more.

You will be very lucky if you still have that amount of money in bitcoin till now as the price of it now reached to a much higher level and it will continue to increase so the better oprtion will be that you keep your money in bitcoin and when the price reach to a highest peak then think about its future.

i wouldn't sell btc now because there are so many forks coming in december, gather them all and then sell some percent of your btc to fix the profit. i really don't think the price will dump till the end of the month with all those news about btc futures trading on stock exchangers.

I am having a hard time deciding whether to sell it now or to hold it, so I just did was to sell just half of it. The price is really tempting to sell and it's still surging and we didn't know where it will gonna take us. So I'm putting a target for selling, I'll sell some if it will reach $20k then I'm all good and the remaining will hold again and wait for another new ATH. I don't wanna be greedy so this is the least that I can do, and once again HODLing is real and will gonna give us a sure profit.

I do believe that you are still holding, Bitcoin is now $16,456 and if you are still holding since then till now you should have make serious profits by now. If i were holding a 70 BTC right now and someone ask me if i will sell or hold i will still hold for it because the market of bitcoin still growing up and will grow more.why it will grow more? Simply because too many people are getting interested with bitcoin. Today, the bitcoin value is $16,075.02 which means that you are now a millionaire and probably, you are spending your earned money in everything that you want. Then if your bitcoin was sold then it's kinda disappointing for you.

You just have to hold that 70 bitcoins you have. But if you managed to sell some at $16,000 then that's a good deal as the price is getting lower now so you can buy some more coins out there if you wish. And if you are not happy with the correction that we are experiencing now, just hold.

If I were you, I would hold all 70 BTC.Because bitcoins price is increasing rapidly.And I guess it's the best way of gain profits.Bitcoin price $15000 now and I think it will hit $20000 on next year for sure.I will advise you to sell half of your BTC when price will hit $20000.And keep the rest of the BTC until 2020 because experts are predicted that bitcoin price will hit 1M within 2020.

Currently market is pumped due to CME Futures Trading. This will fade away as market stabilizes. We will see big correction before that. If you want to make some quick profit set the target around $20,000 and sell. but don't forget to buy the dip later.

I think you should be worried just like many of us who think something tragic might happen to bitcoin soon with the way the coin is pumping up. however i will like to consider dividing your coin and do some research on some coin you can buy. if i were you i will consider buying ETH and LTC. these are two stronger coin after btc and with the way ETH has gone this year, it has good prospect to grow further next year so if  at all anything happen to bitcoin you have less to worry about

i think still holding is better than selling because rate of BTC is still increasing with a quick speed and if you can hold them for some more time then it is more possible that the price will cross 50k$ then you can sale your BTC and can earn enough profit but if you need urgent money then you can also sale now there is no issue in selling BTC at anytime you can sale.

Especially not to sell, with this very sensitive value in the ever-changing variations. Which gives no chance to sell your money while being sure that you have the right price will goes down or remain constant, for example, I sold 500 USD in bitcoin when its value is equal to 4800 USD, while if I have waited only two weeks it will win me about 800 USD at least, but this is one of the bitcoin's things.

With that much btc, i think its ok to sell some of it and put it to good use like starting a business. That big amount of money should be diversified so though bitcoin is seen to even reach higher value, its best you also have some other sources besides it

Totally disagree with you, the good management of your money is always necessary, whatever it is the sum of the bitcoins you have, if you do not know how to exploit it  the good way you would do nothing and you would win nothing. Otherwise, you have offered to invest a sum so that it would be self-productive, but it fails to mention that the investment could become profitable or fail.

I think we must buy and hold btc for now because there some announcements or information that i have read that bitcoin will have another hardfork.

In my technical analysis which I've been sharing on Instagram several weeks ago, Bitcoin will see a price of 8000$.

In my opinion, the future of Ethereum is better than Bitcoin cash.

Mybe their is no reason to sell bitcoin because it is flactuated. You need to hold it first because bitcoin is good and there is always an increase amount of price and everyone justified it and they have seen it in their account. Holding is beneficial for everybody.

hold it for now, btc prices are unstable, on the chart in previous years on the same month btc decreased, wait until mid year I think btc will start up again, even will jump high, just wait and be patient

In my opinion, you still need to hold you Bitcoin as we all know that there are so many dips this month but that is normal in trading because it is not always rising up of prices.
Just hold your coins and be patient to wait until the price increases again. You are incurring paper/virtual loss not until you withdraw it and that is released loss.

Yeah bitcoins are flourishing, they are making a difference in society by increasingly user’s number that are getting more and more every day. People are talking about them, getting bitcoins, trading them, earning money. This is making a better image of bitcoins in general public and only for this, they are increasing now as people buying them and supply is getting shorter.

Holding is a hard job if you are not convince enough because the market is not stable and anytime there is a dump that could happen.

There is so many posts across the forum with panic like concerns for the recent bitcoin correction. It was always coming and regarding the OP's post I would say its time to buy, definitely not to sell. Once the bulls start on btc the price will take off again very quickly.

70btc is too much though , so the price of bitcoin is 9806.99 dollars which mean that bitcoin is still low as of now so it's better to hold your coins though, in spite of the risk still worth it , and still don't worried about the bitcoin cash you can earn it instantly. So for me it's better to hold it though.

Bitcoin needs to be kept. The bitcoin course will only grow (sometimes leaving for correction). I think that in the summer we will see the price of bitcoin somewhere 20-25 thousand dollars. So do not sell your bitcoins.

70 BTC? wow that is a lot! well you lucky to have those with you now! but if you dont have an expenses that can make you sell your BTC, then hold it.
BTC will surge in terms on its value, I am not sure in it but I do have faith in it!
also if you want to go make a quick buck, you can go trading with your BTC and buy some good altcoins and then sell when you get a good profit!
