for me its a yes! the main goal of human is happiness whatever human wanted to reach it towards to his/her happiness.
For example why do people want to work? because they want a better life, and if they reach better life they also reach their happiness.

So for you what is the main goal of human?

T me the main goal of being human is to find your purpose. It kight be to find your happiness or to find it in other people. SO long as you do it morally and also that fills up your soul then that could be the purpose in which you are created.

Yes I agree also.But that happiness must not only on your self.You must share it to other people. Yes, you're happy but the important people around you are sad, hopeless, that happiness will not male you feel good.

I agree to happiness but not when it is egocentric ecstasy them i have a problem with that it should ecocentric, meaning the whole planet contribute to happiness and humans being the stewards and maisters of the earth should lead the way but once individuals are positioning themselves to gain individual happiness without any coordination to gain the same for the whole world including every living and non living thing then your seek for happiness is selfishness and it will end nowhere than agony.

Sense of fulfillment and success in life makes them happy.. Its their goal in life..but for me there's more than just being happy its giving all that you are and all that you have to someone greater and the reason for anyone's existence...God

For me its not just happiness.A stable life.A sense of fulfillment.Nothing to worry about.That is what all families want to have.

I realized that happiness is a state. Not a moment in life, but a condition. And the more you are in it, the better you understand life and yourself. The more chances you have to live even happier.

It really is the goal of most people to be happy. When are we happy? feel good, comfortable. There are so many things humans aim for, happiness is just one of them. Since the premise is it being a main goal, I think I can say that it's on top of the list because everything that people actually do is aimed for them to be happy or satisfied. However, there are so many other things that a person aims to do or have that may not be quantified within the sphere of happiness.

I don't think it's true, because happiness is just a part of human purpose in this planet. I'm a Bible believer which is written in the scriptures that the real purpose of mankind is to share the gospel of God in the whole world and happiness will follows only if do such a good things.

main goal of life in human is actually finding the meaning of their life. why some people die while you are still alive? it is because you have a role to play in this world. once you find true meaning of your life, you will be happy as well.

Yes it should be. Unfortunately, to reach that you have to pass thru many challenges and sometimes in your journey, you forgot about happiness, all you are doing is keeping your self stress. In the end, instead of being happy you are frustrated.

Yes.  Why would human live in suffering.  Life waa not given to us for us to suffer and be hurt.  Life was made for us to appreciate and live the most out of it. Our main goal should always be happy and make others happy as well.  By that we can say that we have lived our live with a purpose

It's not happiness, because if everything proceed in a lucky, good way, then you don't learn from your bad experiences. If you grow up rich, then you don't really appreciate what you have because it's normality. You need to reach rock bottom before you can truly appreciate things.

I think happiness is not the main goal of each person, but it is the wish and want each individual. If the happiness is the main goal of human, then they don't achieve it, it means that they will not be happy for it. So, it is really bad when the happiness to be the goal. We should be happy in whenever and anywhere, not being happy for certain something only. 

We have different goal, some are money and the others are they dream to be , all they want are good carrer, not all people success are happy because not only being success make you happy, sometimes you can be happy in a simple way.

Everybody wants happiness. I don't think any sets out to be unhappy, but we all have different ideas of how to get there. Some focus on work/career, or money, but neither of those are usually satisfying.

How many people do you know that truly love their jobs? Unfortunately most don't, because they're just working to make a living, not because it's their passion.

Also, money doesn't buy happiness. Like they say - more money, more problems. The rich are often pretty miserable, because it becomes hard to make new fiends and trust people. When you're rich, everybody wants a piece of you, so you start to distrust everyone, and live in fear that somebody is coming to steal your wealth/hurt you/hurt your family. So they lock themselves up behind barbed wire fences, in their ivory towers.

Most people just want recognition and a sense of purpose. Doing something that helps others, or creating. After all, creating is in our DNA - be it art, tech, business or babies. For me it's doing, or creating things that make my (not going to lie, charity starts at home) and other people's lives better. Making people smile and experience something new.

I guess that works as well. Though it's more than happiness. To be fulfilled, i think it's not just about happiness for ourselves but also for the people we care about. To be happy means to be able to share to others as well what makes us feel that way. That would pass as a decent goal in life right? :D

FOr me the main goal of every person on earth is to feel contented and to find himself. Happiness is the product of both these aspirations so i would put it as a side quest. You can only be ever truly happy if you find your purpose and to see yourself contented.

I think the pursuit of happiness is definitely a worthy goal but it is perhaps where often we get lost, maybe instead of pursuing happiness we instead need to better learn to appreciate what we already have and realise that happiness is not something we have to pursue but something that is already available to us as long as we are grateful.

Yes, whatever we accomplished in our life in terms of career advancement, personal and professional growth one thing that we want is to be happy. We make effort and show our love to our children, wife, brother, sisters, friends etc for them to feel appreciated. There is happiness when we know that the person we love is in a good situation. I think so. In the first place, this is why people strive to work so hard. They want to achieve happiness, but the only problem that I see here is most of the things and activities that can make people happy costs money, some are even expensive, like travelling for example. Imagine as simple as travelling and just having the need to go to a different place, still it needs money in order to be achieved. This is why my main goal has always been to be rich.

I've never thought of happiness as something to strive for. You either have it or you don't, depending on your circumstances.

  My goal is the peace and well-being of my family. All the rest is not important if your family is fine. This is happiness.

The main and the only purpose of my life is to travel. I don’t know about others.

I believe yes, the main goal of human is to be happy. We are setting goals and achieve it while we live because those goals would provide us a complete happiness. We are living to reach and get what we want because having what we aim for will definitely make us happy in life. Reaching our purpose and living a life without too much pain and a lighter living will provide us an internal happiness and joy.

in the right way. the pursuit of happiness were there from when you were born. everyone wants to be happy but that's just the vague, sometimes need to undergo hardships to get out. It brings great emotion with each!

Happiness is the sum total of the main goal of human endeavor or life.
Whatever we do, work, education, trading in businesses,training, travelling
to other places.All have one major motive which is to have a better and fulfilled
life full of happy moments of achievements.Once, you do not meet up with
your life expectations, happiness becomes elusive until achieved.

in my opinion it is also yes, people do everything to achieve their own happiness. Though, of course, happiness can be different for each person - someone finds it in money, someone in family, someone in religion, someone in conflicts, work, art, etc. But of course everyone achieves his own happiness. Even altruists, they are doing everything to other people, but in these moments, though it is a kind of paradox, they achieve their personal happiness. So, for sure, it is humans' main goal!

Humans are not wired only for happiness. We are wired to experience a full range of emotion and to strive to be happy all the time is an impossible feat. See if you can allow yourself to experience that full range of human emotion and ask yourself what brings meaning to my life? Can I move towards that however difficult that may be. Can I lean into discomfort? When the pressure to be happy is lifted, paradoxically there is a freedom and a vastness of opportunity that appears.

I think not every people choose happiness for they main goal in life. For me be a good person as the Al-quran said  is the main goal of my life. If you be a good person, you got happiness. And not only on earth but life of after earth, i mean heaven.

It depends Because Sad People Wants To Be Happy but Sometimes You Need To Be Sad because How Sad You Are In Past The happier It will become In the Future.  You Need To Accept The Trials In Your Life To Reach Your Goal.  But if The Contentment Is their For Example You love Your Wife But Your husband/wife Cheating And You Choose to stay people think You choose to be sad But The Thing is If You Choose To Leave your Wife Or Divorce him/her its more painful and Its The most Saddest part .

Yes the main goal of humans is happiness its because you will do such things even if you sacrifice others feelings as long as you want to be happy not only for them, but the reason is if you really want to then make it on yourself. Being happy is make you feel better and you will also have a longer life.
