I want to buy moreno now, I have been watching this coin for sometime but for whatever reason i haven't bought yet. Planning for HOLD it for 6 mounts at least.
The price now looks too HIGH. Is now a good time to buy?  ???

Looking at it's price now, you are right that it aint a good time to buy now but if your planning to hold it for 6 months, somehow you will gain profit but you wont have big gains. I am certain because Monero rarely moves prices now and if ever it dumped after 6 months, you would have to hold it for a longer time. Instead of looking into Monero why not invest on other coins with potential? There is a lot out there IMO just look for profitable altcoins to invest into.

Nothing too late I think to buy monero, even to buy ethereum at the current price is also not too late if you want to hold in a long time. I think it's a good move, reducing the risk of losing your capital, and maybe when the bitcoin price gets higher, the altcoin price will also make adjustments and may go high....

Monero is the answer for someone who is looking for anonymity, and I believe the coin price will continue rising. I have been charting Monero for a long trade, and it shows Monero is still in healthy uptrend from 08/2016 I'm sure the price will keep growing, just find a good entry point at 0.0138 - 0.0154 I believe its the reload zone for Monero. Monero is one of those coins that gets pumped but the pumps aren't that big and also it gets dumped and they are not that big either. it is more like a stable coin rather than a pump an dump thing, possibly because it is old and big and with less shenanigans than other altcoins out there.

if you want to buy it, then it is probably a good idea to wait a little before moving ahead. right now bitcoin is rising and after it may have a fall, in both cases altcoins drop hard. and when they do it is a better time to buy than now. buy at the bottom.

Last week I am trying to find a 2-4 coins worth to invest in them. But can't make the last decision.
The candidates are naturally Monero, Ripple, NEO, XEM, WAVES, EOS, IOTA, maybe 0x.
But my investment money is not big, so I won't invest in Monero at its nowadays course rates.

In my opinion it will grow further, like all big crypto's now. Nothing to do with it - more hype - more price. At least you would not loose your money, I think.

I personally will buy monero at this price, especially if holding for the long term. It is one of the good privacy coins around.

We see the movement of btc, followed by eth and some other alt, including also xmr which have pump. We'll see later, whether this upward trend will continue.

You can buy Monero in Bittrex and Poloniex. But you have to first buy BTC or ETH to trade in the 2 exchanges.

It is never too late to buy cryptocurrencies. Everyone seen all these greens in the market ask same question. No you need to create your own chance and buy at advantageous position. Monero is good.

It is pretty high and you might no make too much. A better option is to invest in Deeponion. Similar to Monero, but better. Also it has a giant community and the market cap is very low. That is your best bet right now and what I am doing.

It is never too late to buy a given coin. Each of them has an increase in rate and you just have to invest more now. It's more risky because you can lose more, but it's not too late.

Great point. Deep web does use monero on a regular basis for many transactions everyday which is one of the main reasons I feel that this coin is going to rise in value soon in the upcoming months. Also, the rally by bitcoin will help monero grow im value for quite sometime before experiencing a correction itself. Good time to buy some monero if you ask me.

Me personally i wouldn't since if we are thinking about profit lets say 10x. I feel there many coins 0.50-1 more likely to hit 5$-10$ vs monero going to say 1700$ . i could be wrong but, that's my feeling to it.

Deeponion!!!!, i don't now much about it. The only thing i see every where is deeponion airdrop. i agree that the community is big. But i think is too early to invest in deeponion. all the same i will do some research on this. Also i only use bittrix for personal reasons.

Using the exchanges for very large amounts is not a good idea since you may have the risk of losing your tokens if the exchange goes down. By the bitter and poloniex are very trusted exchanges. But remember prevention is better than cure.

i think much better to buy a low price mate to get much profit when that coins go upward or when it bullish after 6months. Instead of buying today cause like you said the price is so high.  . This eth based currency really shows more growth in the chart. We will find the more growth in monero I think because there are many turns to GPU mining with the XMR side I think. People are suggesting me to mine also asks to me go with the monero mining to making the profit with that.

ICO are more risky because there are a lot of fake ICOs out there. Most of these coins will not be around after a year or two. It's much better to invest in older coins.

I also have coins like NEO i want to trade for others because i have been holding NEO for a long time now and its still not increasing in price, but I want to still HOLD it for much longer because is one of those coins to HODL.

Monero is very popular for veteran crypto holders but not for newbie. Many people drop by bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin, then they will know monero or dash. Not all cryptoholders have monero in ther wallet.I am interested in Monero but I don't have XMR at all.I prefer litecoin and ethereum.

Since you have already noticed that the price of Monero coins is quite high right now, I think it is not yet the good time to buy this coin although you can observe a continuous gain, you will be just gaining a small amount of profit since you have started on a real high price of it. Now Monero is at $176.46 as per coinmarketcap.com. The growth ratio is positive since last month.  It began from $84.58 (Nov 3rd)  to $176.46. The highest rate was at $199.41 on 29th November. You can very well buy now.  Though value falls down,  it goes up bit high. All the best.

In the end of XIX th century it was a gold rush/fever. some people made their first thousands of bucks,  it's a cryptofever that happens  right now and IMHO we don't have a lot of time in reserve so don't hesitate and invest your money in that crypto you like most of all. maybe right now it's price seems to be high but tomorrow it will look low and you would regret for not investing yesterday...

I really do not know why people watch the market for too long. Find a good position most especially at dips and get in.

If you wish to study the charts before making a purchase and you are sure of what you are doing or how to analyze the chart to get the best position in, then go ahead, otherwise if you do not have any idea what to do, just like the correction we are having presently, buy in and watch the growth in the long term. If you keep studying, you may miss the best chance to buy now.

I see it like this. Dark markets are in hiding now. They are suffering and still licking old wounds caused by Interpol and Bitcoin use (good lesson for them). Now I cannot comment on some activities of the dark market which I do not agree with, but some things I believe they help with, because legal rules in some countries are simply too rigid. So dark markets are a necessity, we cannot pick and choose which things can or cannot exist, this is the price of democracy and decentralization.

With that in mind, Monero is always going to be a good buy. Not too late. It is not $1,000 yet!
