Title: Bitcoin hard fork 17 December - Super Bitcoin
Post by: R0nnyKing on December 04, 2017, 03:30:36 PM
Hey to all of you...

There is a another hard fork coming on it's way at the 17th of December, which will create a new coin, called "Super Bitcoin" (there are in total 3 hard forks in December).
So I do believe Bitcoin won't reach 15000USD till the end of this year, it will float around 10-11000USD I think.
I do also believe it might drop a bit due people cashing out to buy presents etc. What are your opinions?
I have invested a huge amount 2 weeks ago and I am very pleased with my current profit. I'm a long term investor, not a trader.

Information about the Super Bitcoin:
- http://supersmartbitcoin.com

Now to go back to the purpose of this post...
I am using the program "Bitcoin Core" to store my coins, but I was wondering how to collect the new "Super Bitcoin"? I suppose "Bitcoin Core" will not support this new crypto, so I am looking for a good software wallet.
Do installing another wallet requires to re-download the whole blockchain once again?

Thanks in advance (and happy holidays),
David ;)

Well bitcoin is the king of crypotcurrency so pretty much I don't believe what you are saying that bitcoin won't reache 15,000 US dollars. Wait until bitcoin price surprise you. And let's say it reaches up to 13,000 USD by december and a chance by the end of the year it will be 15,000. If you see the recent you'll see how much demand bitcoin is gaining.

I know the hype is spreading pretty good lately but I expect it to float around 11.000USD according to the upcoming hard forks. More and more facilities are looking into Bitcoin, this is good news, the price will only go up in the next few months.
I hope you are right because at the end, I'm a long term investor ;)

Greetings to all of you.

::) ::) We have series of forks (jokes) coming around this month. So be ready for some free money.
However, I am not getting why you think fork will decrease the price of Bitcoin. According to me, it will give pump to BTC price as people will buy more Bitcoins to claim free money and build greater wealth. People already having Bitcoins will follow HODL mechanism so there isn't reason to believe why it will dip.
It will surely continue its upward trend.

That's correct, I only mentioned one of the forks ;D I think it will dip a bit, nothing to worry about.
About that "free money", that was the purpose of this post. How to collect it with a software wallet. I'm using "Bitcoin Core" at the moment.

Its frustrating to see that everyone is just coming up with their own bitcoin forks. Moreover, most of these forks are just useless and aimless without any specific objective. Nevertheless, if you want to gain some bonus coins of this fork I would suggest you the most easy way to do it. Just go and make account with any exchange which is supporting this fork. If you do so the forked coins will be automatically added to your wallet and these will be easily tradable too.

As long as the forks don't compete for real Bitcoin hashrate (if the forks don't use SHA-256 mining algorithm) then it's not a problem. Who cares? If you don't like them just ignore them. Im going to get the free coins and sell them for whatever price they are going on.

The only real problem I see is, everytime there's a fork, I have to move my damn cold storage to access the coins. This is a big problem because moving your cold storage in it's entirety raises the risk that you screw up and lose your coins in the process.

Saying this don't you think that most of these forks are just useless? considering that they don't even get listed on major exchanges for long and end up staying on minors like Yobit. Moreover I feel they are quite harmful to the integrity of bitcoin as if useless people continue with such forks the forks which actually require the attention of miners as well as people would just get ignored. People will develop a sense of negativity towards fork. Bitcoin gold was never looked in form bitcoin cash was looked. Even though I feel bitcoin gold's aim is much better than that of bitcoin cash.

If this is true then another fork will occur which mean another airdrop will happen and it will become another bullish run bitcoin as the community already chooses to HODL bitcoin. Im sure bitcoin will reach new all time highs as the new fork coin will become a pump and dump and will be converted to bitcoin.  The question which wallet provider will support this new coin.

The Super Bitcoin developers should announce which wallets or exchanges will support their coin. Which ever you use, remember to have access to your private keys. I assume (but it's only an assumption) that Bitcoin Core would allow anyone to claim the forked coin because this is the original Bitcoin wallet.

Do installing another wallet requires to re-download the whole blockchain once again?

No.

You only download the blockchain when you install the Bitcoin Core. You're essentially running a node, you're part of the blockchain network, when you work with Bitcoin Core.

Another fork, Super Bitcoin? Tell me this isn't true. I realy don't see any sense in so much useless forks, this can't bring any good and on long term it can only harm Bitcoin. Community will have to decide one day what is the final goal and which way we want to go otherwise this might bring Bitcoin to an end. No banks, no governments, Bitcoin community will ruin itself. Or anyone realy thinks that all these Bitcoin altcoins can replace original Bitcoin and bring more profit? People, get serious.

Another fork, Super Bitcoin? Tell me this isn't true.

get ready because there are many forks coming in, we have: Bitcoin Platinum, Super Bitcoin, Bitcoin Uranium, Bitcoin Silver

If this is true then another fork will occur which mean another airdrop will happen

well, this Christmas we will have many "free money". take the champagne and celebrate with the family, because this is a very rare opportunity, it is not every month that we see such a thing as "free money"

Moreover, most of these forks are just useless and aimless without any specific objective.

I agree

The hard fork may even come a day or two before 16th or 17th December. Every body should get ready. I read  in   Qoinpro.com newsletter  that every person who has any amount of Bitcoin in their platform will receive the same equal amount. So guys go to and deposit with them to receive  same amount.

I don't think this fork will have any effect on bitcoin price.
Bitcoin went through many forks and after each one it become  even stronger. Many forks will happen soon each one of them has a ridiculous name
which proves that it will fail, thus, you don't have to worry since your investment will be safe.

Oh my gosh, I guess, it is just a matter of time until Super Bitcoin Z or Super Bitcoin Z Turbo II comes out.

This really gets out of hand and even though Segwit2x and Bitcoin Gold had an effect on the price due to the success of Bitcoin Cash and the media attention, I hope, this time, this won't affect the price, as there are two many forks under way.
Is there a tl:dr for all the upcoming forks?

Seriously??? Come on people, find another way to earn the money, this makes no sense whatsoever! This just sucks. Let's just hope that every next fork continues the trend of every next fork being worth less and less. This would definitely discourage forks without any proper reason.

Most people now associates a fork with free coins. Remember that because people anticipated bitcoin gold and the supposedly segwit2x fork, bitcoin got pumped. So in a sense, these forks.could actually increase the price of bitcoin because people hoard as much as they can to receive more free coins.

Why are there so many forks this December? Even though, I don't know the reason, or even whatever reason it is, dude you are right that it has a good impact on bitcoin. Bitcoin price will just continue to rise due to this upcoming forks, and I think it's time for me now to buy bitcoin. Just wondering, which one among those five upcoming forks would be on top?  :-\

I don't like hard fork in way of making new coins.
It would be better to crypto world to update bitcoin own network or something like this.

I will search. But do you have even one link for Super Bitcoin?

8)
Why the dev not name the coin superman? It is better to name supperman or spiderman. It is very popular figure. Super bitcoin or anything is just fake coin. Bitcoin diamond is fake, btg is dump and pump, bch is hijackers, the dev of bch hijack bitcoin users. All forking are useless and worthess, they are shit , trash, dump, suckers.

This is all pure trash and nothing but a trying hard coins. I just don't understand why they're making these coins or the devs just wanna raise and make money from it and want something that they can manipulate like what's happening in bch since they can't manipulate bitcoin.

I don't believe they're scam or a joke and I believe that they were created by purpose.

Hey to all of you...

There is a another hard fork coming on it's way at 17 December, which will create a new coin, called "Super Bitcoin".

Thanks in advance (and happy holidays),
David ;)

yes and yes - in short.

The Bitcoin Core will not support the new coins, but a resonable expectation from Super Bitcoin devs is that they will provide their own fork of the Core software too. If they do, and when they do, all you need to do is copy your wallet.dat (it cointains your private keys) to that new software folder and redownload the new blockchain. It should give you access to your super bitcoins.

The word of caution, though: before you send out any super bitcoins (or bitcoins) make sure that the replay protection is implemented in super bitcoin. You don't want to be sending out both of your coins!

From observation, I have come to realize that what all these forks have successfully done was enabling the bitcoin value and price soar. Suspiciously, I believe all who are behind all the forks (past and present) definitely have a great stake and share in bitcoin core and the forks provide a safe haven. Believe me, with all the forks lined up for this December, bitcoin is going to hit the ATH at $15k.

Super Bitcoin is good news for me.
I think it's a good rival for Altcoins and the features were slightly changed and I think it's more scalable and faster than Bitcoin and earlier hard forks like Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold.

It's just another fork, if its a scam we will know it, if it's not then we should welcome it. Until then, lets hope that Bitcoin reaches new heights, $15K by end of year.

I would say some of the forks have clear purposes and aims. It is too early to argue which one is better than the ohter... Anyways, the market will follow where the hashrate goes, right?

There are about 8 forks happening this coming weeks. I have made a list of the forks thats gonna come up this hilarious Christmas month for the Coin field in my last post, feel free to check it out and get ready for the free Christmas candies : )

Is there a tl:dr for all the upcoming forks?

hahaha

Super Bitcoin Z Turbo II is fo funny  :D :D :D

reminds me of the childhood endless Dragon Z series

I only have a basic Idea about it forgive me if I am wrong somewhere.
There are two types of forks soft/hard fork, hard fork causes a split in the Blockchain creating a new coin and if you hold BTC you get 1:1 of the new coin which is created from Bitcoin hardfork, if you hold 2BTC you get 2new coin you can Google for more detailed info.

I am using the program "Bitcoin Core" to store my coins, but I was wondering how to collect the new "Super Bitcoin"? I suppose "Bitcoin Core" will not support this new crypto, so I am looking for a good software wallet.

Well I was wondering the same thing about Bitcoin Core. I cannot find any information about it tho. I'm very curious how the things will work out.
How does the other wallet "knows" either I have the complete blockchain? Do I have to fill in the path of the blockchain folder which Bitcoin Core is using?

I don't think this fork will have any effect on bitcoin price.
Bitcoin went through many forks and after each one it become  even stronger. Many forks will happen soon each one of them has a ridiculous name
which proves that it will fail, thus, you don't have to worry since your investment will be safe.

And also bitcoin drop is always happened because of its volatility which is when some of the bitcoin holders release  their profit there will be a chance that  bitcoin value will decrease. I think  that is the common reason why sometimes bitcoin value dropped .

Maybe you are right bitcoin demand increase in th recent time that can make huge increase of bitcoin price.
But let say if people dont like and dont support this fork, what will happen? People will decide to sell their bitcoin and save it in USD.
But thats just opinion, however i am the person who likee and support bitcoin fork anyway.

This is ridicolous how many more bitcoin forks will people make just to get some free money, since the ratio should be once again 1:1, whats the point to keep coming with forks, as i know bcc has already raised the blocks sizes and readjusted the difficult to dont let miners play with it, soo why another fork besides some greedy people wanting easy money. Just to remember all those brilliant people focus into more bitcoin forks that we are allowing big whales and players to get more and more control.

peopl are tightly holding bitcoin on their wallet as this fork will come so soon and expecting a free coin soon.. that will hold for a while like bitcoin cash..

The only real problem I see is, everytime there's a fork, I have to move my damn cold storage to access the coins.

Absolutely untrue, you don't have to move anything.

The Bitcoin Core will not support the new coins, but a resonable expectation from Super Bitcoin devs is that they will provide their own fork of the Core software too.

That's not a "resonable" expectation at all since you apparently don't understand the bitcoin software. There is not some magical "Bitcoin XYZ software" and then "Bitcoin XYZ wallet software", there is only one single Bitcoin XYZ software including all the functionalities. Any fork of the original Bitcoin Core software naturally includes the wallet gui.

If they do, and when they do, all you need to do is copy your wallet.dat (it cointains your private keys) to that new software folder and redownload the new blockchain. It should give you access to your super bitcoins.

Of course you don't have to redownload the "new" blockchain because from the very first block all the way to the fork block the blockchain is identical, as long as the block db structure wasn't changed by the fork developers (as happened with BTG). That's what the forking means - sharing the same history data.

Even if the developers did change the db structures you still don't have to download anything, you can simply connect the new software to the original one and pull the data via localhost.

How long this situation will continue?
Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond, now Super Bitcoin. What will be next?

Bitcoin Diamond is not a fork, it's an altcoin. It doesn't share a common pre-fork blockchain history with the original Bitcoin, they mine blocks from the beginning.

This is the big update in the crypto currency devs create a bitcoin fork instead of creating a new coin this is just all another altcoin but they have an edge because they are bitcoin fork and they are getting good support from the community, soon we will have fork every month, it will become the bitcoin fork competition.

Too many hardforks, hard to keep up. Investors don't care anymore and all of these forks just another reason to hold on to Bitcoin - the original stuff.

This is the thing we should blame why bitcoin now is at 12,+++ USD now LOL..
peopl are tightly holding bitcoin on their wallet as this fork will come so soon and expecting a free coin soon.. that will hold for a while like bitcoin cash..
everyone hoping for this and will get into the market a boom like before .. its been tried and tested with bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold ,, once many people start to hold on their btc and many people still trying to buy more to reserve more airdrop on fork the market is really having problem with the supplies over demand of the crypto community!

I can only guess how much will Bitcoin cost by December, 15-16 if today it is conquering the new top, trying to climb the rock with 13 thousand height.  Some forks turn to be good, anyhow. I am speaking about an evident success of Bitcoin Cash.

go yo cryptopia website and check out their news section, the link is on top of the page. there is also a forum which you can check or ask this. they are the only people who can answer you.
if you don't see an announcement then they most probably won't give it to you.

these days i only know Yobit is giving away these forks!

Thanks in advance (and happy holidays),
David ;)

Bittrex doesn't support this fork. They didn't credited BTG, did they? Hitbtc also didn't credited Bitcoin diamonds. Only Binanced did it during diamond fork. Now, the position of them is just an unknown.

Who can take bitcoin seriously anymore? Another sign of a manic bubble, in my opinion. Seems like the mining cows that pump proof of work coins  just want to milk as much out of it as they can, while they can. Might be reason to be wary.

Title: Re: Bitcoin hard fork 17 December - Super Bitcoin

Always the forthcoming forks of bitcoin positively affect the bitcoin itself with respect to its value. People tend to invest in bitcoins to get new coins that are free of charge. Therefore at this time the cost bitkoyna increases. Now she swims within the limits of 16 000 - 17 000 dollars and makes 16 537 dollars. Considering that according to different information, during the last month there will be approximately seven such plugs, the bitcoin rate for this period should rise quite well. However, upcoming holidays have some influence in the direction of reducing the rate, so it also floats a little in price.

Did read about this forkfest in December but thought that it wasn't real .
It seems that no one cares about these forks, they are nothing serious.

That being said the high transaction fees and times still is a real problem for BTC. Companies are now refusing btc now because of these problems .

Since the second half of December, seven forks have been waiting for Bitokoin for a month. The future of the plug has always had a positive effect on its course, as people are more actively investing in bitcoin at this time in the hope of getting a good profit from the appearance of a decent coin of free cost that spins off from bitcoin. Therefore, we must assume that, in spite of the coming holidays, bitkoyn will grow in price. This also confirms his behavior in recent days, when he came very close to his recent historic high.

Binance support the fork, they have already issued Super Bitcoin to Bitcoin holders on a 1:1 rate. Binance has also issued the Bitcoin X (BCX) to holders of Bitcoin too. They support most (if not all) Bitcoin and other altcoin forks, check them out, Binance referral https://www.binance.com/?ref=10028938

I think it will be very difficult to predict how the price for Bitcoin will behave during and after the next heavy file. If we compare the last few times several times, then there was no problem with the drop in the price for Bitcoin. Based on this, I would not worry.

What is there to think particularly about whether or not this year the bitkoyn course will reach $ 15,000 if it has already passed the $ 18,000 mark. Virtually all forecasts for this year bitcoin fulfilled ahead of schedule. Therefore, a significant part of bitcoins holders is very surprised by such behavior of bitcoins. Because of this, the topic of whether the bitcoin is a bubble has been increasingly discussed, so quickly it has risen recently in price.

Yeah guys we will automatically get all the Bitcoin fork but you need to keep your bitcoin in supported exchange like Yobit for example. I got my Bitcoin DIamond there but I didn't feel safe keeping all my Bitcoin in yobit exchange for tiny profit since the risk is very high.

There's an opening for a new wallet that can split your coins on all these forks. Of course it would need to be from a somewhat trusted company and one would also need to remove any btc on that seed before using it.
I'm Sure many would even pay a fee for such a service

The forks will affect the bitcoin price, but it will rise again as we have seen before. But forks or not, a price correction will follow after CME futures launch. In a few days it will rise a little, but then the price will fall back to 14K. So at the end of the year the price will be much lower than it is now, with or without Super Bitcoin.

Most people thinking that superbitcoin are hardfork on Dec. 17 because they dont check the website of superbitcoin the price of bitcoin are affect and dump a bit and now the price are boost again.
I received a bit amount of superbitcoin on binance which can be trade to small bitcoin.

I guess ignorance is really bliss. So disappointing to see all the posts in this thread already yet nobody even stopped to verify if the dates were correct. You are quite lucky that binance actually credited you with superbitcoin. Didn't know they would list it. I guess they made good on their word to "support every fork."

Can you share how much bitcoin you had in their wallet and how much super bitcoin did you get again those. Also what is the ratio at which they are allocating and which are the next fork coming in pipeline and which wallet is supporting it so that we can get those coins?

Another day  - another fork - another scam. Every fork of bitcoin shows how a bitcoin holders is strong. Only 1 BTC we need. Not BCH and others.

This coin is a scam though the people that are making websites to take Private Keys and wallet information is getting worse as more altcoin forks happen.

We can't claim the coin yet? Lol

fork already happened...the only way to claim the forked coin was to have it in a supported wallet/exchange ala binance on the 12th when the fork went down.

you can use this site for Address Check if has balance or not :
http://sbtcwallet.org/ (http://sbtcwallet.org/)

Either fake website in hopes of recording generated wallet addresses, or the explorer is down.
- Showing all addresses as empty.

i guess it only check tow numbers after dot.
example : X.XX SBTC

if you have lower than 0.009 sbtc i guess it will appear as empty.

Not true.

Check any address.
I picked a random address: 16JsPYBSYtGuF1w9EGtpYk8GqJ8SQ8QcCz     Has 32BTC in it.
The website still shows 0

you're right..
but it works on some wallets like these :

1JUToCyRL5UwgeucjnFAagKs4v1YqhjT1d
13DYB5HbAZ9ZESPSgDiFEY9fV3ugkbfgQK

i don't know why not working with your wallet.. maybe because last transaction is old.

That wasn't my transaction.
A blockchain is in order of date.  So, even if it hadn't caught up, it should still have older transactions prior to new ones.  Basically, it wouldn't make sense that it would have a newer transaction prior to an older one.

I've checked 10 different addresses in my wallet.  3 show a balance.

Not calling it a scam site.  It's definitely broken though.

I have tried to get those free SBTC coins using exchanges, but my coins where on another exchange site.

However i had some BTC left in my electrum wallet and i have found a SBTC electrum wallet.

After using the SBTC electrum wallet i was able to gain my SBTC coins. 1 BTC = 1 SBTC

I think its only working if you have some balance in electrum, but i am not sure.

For anyone who is interested in the link: www.sbtcelectrum.org (http://www.sbtcelectrum.org)

I couldn't find a mac wallet though, but for the windows users its working fine.

1. Domain registered by you last night and you claim to have found and used it before it was even made public -- Bullshit

2. Site claims to be linked to it from supersmartbitcoin.com -- Bullshit

3. Site says to "Always Verify the Downloads Using Checksums", but doesn't post a hash -- Bullshit

4. The file is 3.49MB (NO wallet is this small) -- Bullshit

5. Site download link is:  http://www.sbtcelectrum.org/files/Bitcoin-Wallet-2.0.8.0.exe  -- Bullshit
Virus Total is served a different file than if you download it directly.

6. Submit the actual file to virus total -- Bullshit

7. Website link (to the source code) at the bottom is to the Bitcoin Cash version of the wallet instead of SBTC -- Bullshit

My review results -- It's 100% bullshit.

Hey there i noticed lot of new users would post a site to claim your new bitcoin fork etc.  Those ppl obviously are trying to get you to download a fake wallet.

My question is this.  If you download a wallet like that but don't input your seed, would it be safe?  I ask this because i assume when people want to claim their bitcoin forks, obviously there are people that would download the program and enter the seed.  I read cases where some ppl do that and then their coins got stolen etc.  But are there cases of people downloading software like this or similar and then their wallets got hacked even without them entering their seed?  I assume they possibly could since there is most likely a keylogger?

However someone mentioned that the only way you can have your wallet hacked is if you actually type in the seed.  Can other posters here confirm this?  I would assume if you download something malicious, thats all that is needed?

Correct.

If you download a wallet and don't put in your pkey/seed, then they can't take it for a normal/legit wallet; however, most of these wallets are not simply waiting for you to put information in them.  They simply search your computer for wallet.dat / wallet.aes.json files, etc in order to take your comes.  In the above 'bullshit' calling post I made, it isn't even a wallet.  It's simply spyware giving someone remote access to your machine so they can search through everything on your computer.  Yup, keylogger and remote access / remote execution.

If a keylogger, then there is nothing to 'hack' since they get your password when you type it in.  Also, passwords are typically easy to guess and pw crackers ran on the wallet files.

Okay so you are telling me that the person that posted that link, if someone downloaded that link and did not do anything else or used a virus scanner to remove it, would it still be there or not?  Would a virus program remove it or not?  Because i would have to assume with links posted by these posters with 1 post etc... someone probably downloaded it etc.  Do regular free virus scanners like windows defender etc find it or not?  What program did you use?

So that would mean that remote access could basically check your computer for your wallet and then steal from your wallet?  But what if you have encryption then?  That would be nothing for them because when you copy and paste, then it would show up for them?

The other thing is what computer are you using to click on that link?  Its obviously a computer you use only for watching movies/downloading torrents etc and thus its your infected computer?  Thus it doesn't matter what you download on it because you dont do anything moneywise on the one you have?  Or are you using a virtual machine etc?  Thus you download whatever infected virus it doesn't matter because its a virtual machine?  And obviously this would be a separate computer even though its a virtual machine for you downloading that?

What I am saying is that the user who posted the website is a fraud and it trying to get people to download the fake wallet in order to steel your coins (NOT your SBTC, but your BTC).  A virus scanner doesn't find it (yet).  Being that it is only 3.5MB, it isn't even an infected wallet; it is simply a hack/RAT (remote admin tool) to gain access to your machine.
Having encryption is pointless since they will have live access to your machine.  And, since they would be logging your keystrokes, they only need to wait for you to type in your password the next time you use your wallet to have access to your coins (or any alt).

Downloading the program doesn't infect your machine.  So, you can download it and hold it without a problem.  It's when you start the program that you become infected.  Setup a VM and try it if you want to test.  Ummm, I suggest against it unless you know what you're doing.  Want to be simply, then simply use a hardware wallet so that your coins are safe even if used from an infected machine.

No.  The post from bitcoinjohnson on December 24, 2017, 01:14:10 PM was a phishing attempt with malware.
I reported him and the site for malware.

Either he deleted it or a mod deleted it.

Basically, Super Bitcoin appears ok, but scammers will try to get your real coins as much as possible.  This thing it happening with all alts.

As for super bitcoin, it's basically useless right now.  Even if you claim them, you can't deposit/withdraw from any exchange.  Basically, the value/use is stagnet until exchanges allow them to be used.

There is a lot of information about what days will be forked. At the same time, different sources call different dates for these forks, starting from December 15. However, I do not see any information and discussion about how these forks occurred and more detailed information about the new coins that formed when the bitcoat branched. And bitkoyin meanwhile smoothly gaining momentum and growing in price. According to CoinMarketCap, the bitcoat price is now $ 16,751, which is quite good for its restoration in the previous year.

Yes, it happened.

Wallet exists.
It's traded on exchanges; HOWEVER, you can't deposit or withdraw from any exchange yet.

So, it's kind of worthless right now.  And, when exchanges accept it for deposit, the price will crash as people jump in to dump.

Exactly.

I remember trying to keep full amounts of bitcoin in various wallets.  With all the forks, it's not possible.  Meaning, it's too much work.  Just realize that you're going to have to pay TX fees to take small parts of each in fees for each fork.

Have an old address?  Just work your way down the value in each for till you claim each.
