Newbie here, I've been wondering when is the best time to buy coins? Is it a good idea to wait for prices to dip a bit or should I buy them as soon as possible to avoid anymore increases in price?

On my own point of view I think now is the best time to invest in bitcoin since the value of it drop a little bit so when you buy bitcoin now you can be able to save more and all you need to do is to jut wait for its value to rise again and sell your bitcoin in ordr for you to be able to earn big and get rich.

Same question every year. The best time to invest in BTC is always NOW.

Just apply dollar cost averaging.
Buy small portions at a fixed moment each week.
When the price dips, buy a little more.

Technically speaking, you cant predict the "right" time to invest in bitcoin, because you don't know how high or how low its going to go, its totally unpredictable. But, if you see the current behavior you will notice that the price is fluctuating within a limit. It will mostly fluctuate within a domain. Just find the right moment in that domain and throw your cash. Hope you all make fortunes with bitcoin. Cheers!

If you are investing for a long term, then of course the current price of the BTC does not matter, as it grows year by year and will grow further.
If you soon want to heal a profit, then do not buy at an increased price, you need to wait for a correction for the subsequent purchase.

Well i the bets time was couple days ago at 13k, but if you believe like me that slowly but surely bitcoin will go up and pass the 20k mark then its still a good time to invest by all means. Should I spend my $100 all at once to buy coins (since I know $100 of coins isn't that much in the context of investment) or, like knien stated, apply dollar cost averaging and buy portions on a weekly basis?

The best time is whenever you feel like doing it, unless you have an specific goal in mind. And it's pointless to wait for a dip since no one knows when it's going to happen, and by the time you check the price it might be already out of reach.

But I recommend you to buy now since we're having a slow uptrend in the price this week (almost 10% increase in the last 7 days) and it's very possible that it's going to continue, especially if people begin to dump altcoins after the big pump in the price they've had in the last few days.

I agree wit you,  the best way to get a good profit is buy bitcoin at a lower price, expectedly arround holiday seasons due to many exchange or trading to fiats, and selling bitcoin at a higher price, usually after the fall comes the rise. I think that you are late and miss the time in which btc price are in dip. Now btc price are started to climb up, if you buy this it's a little bit expensive but still you have a huge chances to earned. I think it would now to invest in bitcoin because it has very low value. Then soon it will increase by the last quarter or maybe December. In my observation in bitcoin, by the first quarter and second quarter of the year it will decrease then after that it will start to increase.
