Title: To all BFL Customers
Post by: BFL - CEO on August 27, 2013, 03:01:44 PM
Hi,

I am CEO - BFL.  My friends call me "Sunny".  I am so sick and tired of you whiners crying about the product we are shipping out that I have come back to these forums to set the record straight.

First, BFL is not a charity, we are a business.
If you don't like the way we do business you do not have to buy from us.  There are several other companies that make ASIC mining devices and frankly we do not need your business so feel free to wait for our competitors to ship their vaporware products if you don't like our shipping schedule.

Second, BFL is announcing a new device.
Some of you may have heard about the new widget we are building.  When it's complete it will most definitely operate at over 500 Gigahash +"some incredible speed" per second.  If it is not fast enough for you we will sell you a second.  And as soon as we complete our water cooling system we'll be packing these fuckers in tight in a 3U form factor rackmount system.  Man is that thing gonna fly.  IT should have wings.  Be sure to order yours right away so you can get it as soon as it's ready to ship. (look around for our pre-order link, there is an advertisement in this forum somewhere I'm sure.  I'm not so good with things like fine details).

Third I want to talk about my criminal background.
Many of you want to believe that a tiger cannot change it's stripes.  I assure you a tiger can; I have.  I changed my stripes and now I understand the importance of regulation.  This is why I am personally seeing to it that all of our devices are now shipped WITHOUT POWER SUPPLIES.  That way we can avoid the onerous process of getting through FCC regulations for each device.  You see, if we don't supply a power supply we don't need to certify that our devices do not emit harmful radiation.  (Being a criminal taught me how to get around the law).  But don't worry, our devices won't start on fire or anything like that (I don't think).

Lastly, you guys need to stop picking on Josh.
I have read through the hateful things you've said about Josh and I just want to say it's got to stop.  Josh is a good kid and he means well.  You assholes are relentless and I cannot believe he still puts up with your shit.  (Josh, go back to your office, I got this).  You guys are gonna hurt his feelings if you keep this up.

So here I am to answer your questions.  Go ahead, dudes, fire away....

Ok, here's the first question. Do you grow your own garden in the summer? If you do, is it a flower garden or a vegetable garden?

I'm not sure what class of plant it is...  I *think* it's a vegetable but it definitely has "flowers".

Very nice. I grow a flower garden every year because I like to decorate my house with fresh flowers.

This was my present to you. I allowed you to answer a question honestly and peacefully and garnered new information in the process. Anything that could be asked about BFL is already known, there is no new information.

Announcing a second vaporware product when you have not delivered the first to everyone waiting is just BS.

This company/guy should have the scammer tag already.

FYI: Not a miner, just my normal sane opinion ANY customer would have.

Thank you for that present, QA, I appreciate your reaching out to me.  On a personal note I think we all need to question authority.  Not doing so might lul us into a sense of complacency.  Don't become complacent, question authority!

What is this vaporware you speak of, I've never sold vaporware!  Our FPGA designs are second to none.  Our newest widget will fly.  Fly I tell you....

Hello Sunny. What is your sexual orientation?

Unknown is the choice I try to pick when making up new gmail accounts.  (I've been with animals).

Hey at least we're not thieves like these guys:

Ok here as promised:

Photos from chinese stuff importer in Poland.

According to what he says somebody ordered 500 chips by him, and did not show up to pick up his order.

Here is most funny part, he writes:
"mamy 500szt, ale nic nie stoi na przeszkodzie, aby w około miesiąc czasu ściągnąć większą ilość z Azji, gdyby tylko miał Pan zbyt na to."  Which stands for "we got 500 pieces, but it's not a problem to import whole lot more from Asia, only if you could find a place where to sell it"

He is just a middle man, clueless what to do with the chips

editted:
http://s24.postimg.org/uyxyp7hxh/avalonchips.png
/editted

He is asking 31$ per chip.

VOILA that's where yifu shipped bitcointalk community chips, to a local resellers in Asia

Alibaba offers are real and toabao offers are real.

Still not in the mood for a proper lawsuit?

Title: Re: To all BFL Customers

Mr BFL - CEO

First and foremost I am as a BFL customer very glad(and surprised) to see an authority taking time to publicly answer questions which some of us folks in a community would really want to ask. I have a few questions regarding information you have shared in the first posting.

First, BFL is not a charity, we are a business.
If you don't like the way we do business you do not have to buy from us.  There are several other companies that make ASIC mining devices and frankly we do not need your business so feel free to wait for our competitors to ship their vaporware products if you don't like our shipping schedule.
The thing is, most of us(if not all) did NOT know how you would do business, therefore bought the products. People are waiting for the devices to be shipped. Please do a favor - ship the rest of the stuff quicker by expanding the manufacturing facility, hiring more personal or whatever makes the job done. Seriously.

New device? Monarch? If so, just say so. If I preorder today, when will I receive this new device?

Well, power supplies should not be a problem as long as the company can clearly state the specs as which power supply will be needed for device to work. Prices would have to be adjusted accordingly. No power supply = less cost, fair enough? Is this something a company would agree with?

Patiently waiting for straight answers.

What would be funnier would be if it was the real Sonny and he is sitting with Josh at his computer right now laughing. I can hear him talking, "Hey Josh, look at the thread I made on that stupid forum. I can't get them to send me any more money so I'm just gonna fuck with em now." LOL

Sonny .. I know i have had my differences with Josh but I really would love to come work @ BFL

ALso I really know how to tell pplz to get fucked and call them cock suckers way better than Josh ever could

I have spent aprox 3 years in Federal prison on Racketeering charges so u know i am qualified for the position

Technically I know how to turn something "on" & "off" so from a technology  perspective I am a bit over qualified for BFL but I look forward to mentoring some of the talent that you have on secondment from McDonalds as your assembly crew

Please Give me a call & we can work out a Scam/Plan to get more moneys in to our respective offshore accounts

Yips +1800-PONZIS

P.S I have access to a fueled jet ready to fly us to any non-extraditable country @ a moments notice

First and foremost I am as a BFL customer very glad(and surprised) to see an authority taking time to publicly answer questions which some of us folks in a community would really want to ask. I have a few questions regarding information you have shared in the first posting.

I looked through our orders and I do not see any from HighCommander, but I'll assume you just ordered under another name.

The thing is, most of us(if not all) did NOT know how you would do business, therefore bought the products. People are waiting for the devices to be shipped. Please do a favor - ship the rest of the stuff quicker by expanding the manufacturing facility, hiring more personal or whatever makes the job done. Seriously.

I'd be happy to hire more people but see, the thing is, we are really really low on funds right now.  As I stated above we are waiting for the pre-order money on our new widget to keep us afloat at the moment.  If we somehow manage to land a big whale investor between now and then you can be sure we'll hire more people.

New device? Monarch? If so, just say so. If I preorder today, when will I receive this new device?

That is such a hard question to answer because, I just don't know.  We hoped we could get it done before the end of the year but that just doesn't seem possible now.  I'd say you can get it "in 2014".

Well, power supplies should not be a problem as long as the company can clearly state the specs as which power supply will be needed for device to work. Prices would have to be adjusted accordingly. No power supply = less cost, fair enough? Is this something a company would agree with?

Oh, absolutely.  You should get a discount if you ordered a power supply and we didn't ship it.

Patiently waiting for straight answers.

I will try to make sure all my answers are straight and factual.

One must be a total idiot to think someone will wait till then. In 2014, this will not be a new device anymore.

Let me cut the end for you...

Yifu took in millions in seed (pre-order) money and built a bunch of "Avalon 1's" which he sold for extraordinary amounts of money.

He kept a few of these machines and mined with them and sent a few out.  Then he ordered more chips.

At this time he also sold 1/2 million chips to DIY'ers in this forum, pre-paid of course.
People like BKKcoins (and others) believed in him and they took time to DEISGN & BUILD PCB boards to mount on these chips.  BKKcoins personally spent hundreds of hours working out the kinks in his AWESOME design.

YiFu then sent out the machines he'd mined with as "Avalon batch 2".  Some had dust in them demonstrating they'd been used for mining.

Then YiFu disappeared.  Went AWOL.  Nobody could reach him.

Then a rumor appeared in the Wall Street Journal that said "Yifu raised $200,000,000 in VC money".

The next day a retraction appeared "Yifu did not raise $200,000,000 in VC money" read all the papers.

Then, after another month went by, he reappeared and promised news as he'd just gotten off the plane.

Then, yesterday after another full 19 days of silence, he reappeared in the forums talking about his CHI and he started issuing refunds to all the people who had ordered the chips and machines who had not recieved them.

In short, he used your money... made money on that money... and then returned a portion of what he earned to the loudest customers he'd stolen from.

YiFu is now + $20 million USD
Community is now - $15,000,000 USD plus a broken dream.

What a con man.  My hat's off to you YiFu you really taught us a lesson!

I am so sorry i took you money, and used it for drugs en strippers.
i am broke and need money 1DsiSQqwXiD6F8pvSE5ro45d2iJkbswFvi

I dunno what is funnier:

1. The fact that the OP is obviously a troll.

OR

2. Some of you actually/genuinely believe this is the real Sunny from BFL.  ;D

#2 for sure

This shit is high-larious

We will leave Josh alone but I think a fair trade would be to organize a real 'charity' event and sell tickets for the privilege of boxing Josh for three rounds. (hey if we are going to be pretending might as well think big right?)

Maybe you can respond to why you feel it is acceptable to not refund when you are currently stating it will be at least 2 months before I will receive my equipment?  It's been well over 30 days since I signed the waiver.  I have repeatedly asked for a refund.  The FTC clearly states that if product is not shipped with in 30 days I can request and receive a full refund.  Josh and Jody state that because they are shipping in general they do not have to refund the money.  This is in direct contradiction to the Federal Law.

If you want to refund the money great, we can resolve this.  If you do not want to, please bring Josh with you and I hope you will come too when we have our day in court.  I want to see your faces when I get the judgement.

BTW, you asked the users here to stop picking on Josh, rather than trying controlling the masses, why don't you control what is in your power to control, namely Josh.  Have you read some of his postings.  He lost his professionalism a long time ago.

PS : Given that you are breaking the law again I guess a tiger cannot change their stripes. :-|

I wasn't aware Avalon ended up being a disaster too. Mining? Only if you have a big edge ... otherwise better to invest in the coins directly!

Thanks for sharing.

I will sue you if you don't

Request refund while not too late, and stop giving free loans (preorder) and taking the risk with loaned money with 0 interest for BFL bankruptcy
