Would you buy Bitcoin in the present market conditions?

There is a lot of negative news about Bitcoin and I suppose one could write a book about all the negative things: Many law makers are anti Bitcoin and ALTS

My buy is set at $8,200 per Bitcoin. I am going to buy into it and take out a position there, and then my next target is $7,800, then $7,400 if it ever gets there. I definitely am buying altcoins as well and loading up on those. I can get Cardano for 30 cents right now which is ridiculous as its all time high was $1.26.  :)

I think Bitcoin will continue downward until about $8k. There is a lot of negative news hitting right now. However, I wouldn't short Bitcoin because at any moment segwit2x can be announced, along with lightning network and atomic swaps.

If you believe in its future, the dips are just buying opportunities.

It's funny isn't it? How a bit of negative news shakes off so many investors. I mean this is technology that is DESIGNED to disrupt the financial industry and government control, so OF COURSE there will be a lot of negative news as this mission takes place. It really makes you wonder whether these weak hands have even researched and understood what blockchain is trying to achieve?

As per current value of BTC at almost 8K USD, I think this maybe a great opportunity for everyone to invest as this is just temporary plunge. In the coming months, the price value of BTC will regain back to normalize as it was before then it could spike back progressively attaining much greater return of investment.

A) I don't see a bottom, even this "8k support" could fail
B) I don't think it will be a quick recovery therefore not worth the investment a lot of people are going to be selling off on the way back up to the ATH, could take years.

It depends on the virtual currency you hold, and I'd suggest putting them in bitcoin for risk-aversion, with bitcoin as a guide, followed by a rise in buying the other virtual at the right time currency

Always buy at the dip. In this case, I advise you to divide your capital into 4 parts. Let say you have 1000$ to lose, first buy 250$ worth of bitcoin at current price (8773$). Then when price dips further, buy another 250$ worth at 8000$ then 7500$ and last @ 7000$. In this way, you don't lose that much if price goes rock bottom. The 'Wolf of Wallstreet" even predicted it can go as high as 50,000$ so I guess he is seeing the present dip as a result of the correction. Many if not all wants a piece of the bitcoin cake.

Even a year ago I would not have decided to buy it, but now even more so. Looking at slow transactions and a stable drop, bitcoin seems to have outlived itself and now it is necessary to look for an alternative. Moreover, they are now at the level on which bitcoin started.

If I had some spare money I would by some Ether instead. BTC future is very unstable and unpredictable, but ETH will most likely take the lead very soon, maybe even during this year. I think than investing in Ethereum is less risky now.

Who would have imagined that the ever popular, well loved cryptocurrency is going to dip that hard. But i think it will not stay that way because slowly it is recovering. Anything under the 8.3k level is a pretty good investment, I wish I had the fiat to buy it at that level but unfortunately I'm at a loss at the moment and I can't afford to sell anything to convert it into btc

What i saw is, that those all coins arent stable so much, and week by week u can make some money with selling at saturday/sunday and buy in at monday-friday.

Yes, because it would definitely climb back up, it reached the height of $19,000 just a few weeks ago, so I wouldn't be too worried. What you have to make a decision on is your strategy. For example, will you wait for it to further fall down again, so it will be cheaper for you to buy, or you just buy now and wait for it to reach back into double digits. There is a lot of backlash now due to scam accusations, and big institutions talking about the negatives, so there's panic in the investment. Bitcoin price was at $1000 last year same month and it bounced back to $20000. Do you think with the current price it cannot bounce to at least double? Personally what I tend to do in the big dips is take a close look at the coins that have fallen the hardest, as these are often the ones that bounce back highest.

No matter how market dips for bitcoin but that project you do suggest wont really be a remedy to the situation and theres still lot much better coins to be considered as next generation coin not on this one. Yesterday bitcoin value was $7,330 if im not mistaken, since second week of january 2018 was started falling the value from $19,000 to the lowest value right now and that is why we assure the negative feedback to those specially who didnt belive in bitcoin but we also assure the next step of the investor to rise again the value.

Well me too, I still want to buy a lot bitcoin even if it was in dip. Because I believe that weeks from now bitcoin will recover again and rise its price. Just like many investor they are going to find another in order to make bitcoin price move up again. I think the main reason why bitcoin is continue to fall down is because there a lot of bitcoin holder to panic to sell their coin before it really crash. And its hurt a lot the value of it.

I think this is probably the best time of the year to be buying as we have already seen some huge drops in nearly all of the coins, I have been replacing tokens I sold at about 1/3 the price in some cases even with some more downside I will add further. The market will turn again quickly as this seems to be an orchestrated FUD campaign so reminicent of Wall St.

Governments will not Ban a Coin that is Legally Compliant in their Jurisdiction.

Governments can't ban any altcoin like bitcoin, so even if the bitcoin has a negative effect in now a days, I believe soon bitcoin overcome all positive effect as soon as possible.
 

As the bitcoin is going down and as far as I read about the news It is possible for the bitcoin to go down until 8k$ and from there I think it is good to buy bitcoin because of its low price, but I think the best move to be is to buy altcoins and invest from the best altcoins of 2018, you can see the list of the best altcoins in the market just go to the coinmarketcap.com site for further data.

You know what pal, the project you are advertising is pretty cool and solves some real problems and all but, I really do not think I or a lot of people will be needing this kind of project that much, I'll probably throw a couple of bucks when I get to see a little spark or should I say, get a little more push. But probably not that much since in my honest opinion, this correction is really something that anyone should be worrying about. "yet." In fact, I see this as a great opportunity for greater profits in the next few months and years. Which is why on every dip, I buy bits of bitcoins and all the other alternative coins out there that I really believe in since I am confident that this year will be better than the last. And besides, the percentage of the correction for this year isn't anywhere near the percentage of the drop on the year 2011 yet which was a staggering 97%.

I would definitely buy. Bitcoin at low price is a great opportunity to buy coz once it recovers there's sure profit there. I think It will go under 8k$. I'll buy within that price. Just enough to buy atls. Red days are great days to go shopping alts.

I think it is still a good idea to buy Bitcoin now . Just believe in the future that Bitcoin price and value will become higher and stable . Now that the demand in investing and using Bitcoin still rises so there is a big chance and oppurtunity that the price and value wi become bigger and higher than the price now . Just believe and trust the price and value will become more better.

Bitcoin market hasn't been stable for long. We never know when will it rise or fall again. There were news that bitcoin has got new investor so I would be willing to buy. 

If you believe in future of Bitcoin, I think this is a good price to buy and hold.. if you have a short view for example at trading maybe is too early and risky.....after a deep correction as this one if the market will became bullish bitcoin will rise fast again...

For me this is an opportunity for us to buy more. Due to low market conditions, if you want to produce better, you can do now, due to low market conditions, this is for me very good if you want to do it, and you can sell higher prices. compared to current prices, so you will get more bitcoin.

Here's a tip. Whenever bitcoin drops or any coin drops, that is the best time to buy it. There's nothing to worry about because it will still rise sooner or later. And speaking of government agencies who are against bitcoin, it depends on the location. Because not all countries but or regulate bitcoin.

Yes.Just today that I was able to buy at $7K. Unfortunately, I was not able to buy yesterday at it's lowest nevertheless, I am still confident and happy though because sure profit is along the way.

To be honest, i am not sure in which direction bitcoin will go... Everyone saying to hold and it will go up, but if as example China will really ban bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the largest market is isolated. everything depends on asia IMHO

I missed the opportunity to buy bitcoin for 6k now its price rose and will have to buy a little more expensive but still not as expensive as a month ago

Bitcoin price is too low now compared to last month and buying BTC now is good idea because we can't tell when is the exact time for the BTC to rise up again. Maybe tomorrow, next week or next month so being patient is the best attitude if you want to buy bitcoin but for me i'd rather invest in ICO because we can never tell the future of a new tokens.

Yes, I will also support you. However, I have already Bitcoins that I bought beforehand, that is why I am not an active buyer now. Those ones, who want to join the market or have no BTC coins, can do it.
