Since the wallets will be connecting to a new blockchain please follow these steps exactly:
1️⃣ Backup your existing wallet.dat file
2️⃣ Make sure everything else relating to the old wallet is deleted
3️⃣ Install the new version 3 wallet for your operating system
4️⃣ Sync from block 0 to 100%
5️⃣ Only replace the wallet.dat file with your backup after you have synced 100% from block 0

If you had a masternode enabled on the previous wallet versions, you must setup those masternodes from scratch in the new wallets. The Port to be used is now 3134.

When using the "getinfo" command in the Debug Console, please make sure the version of the wallet is 3 and the protocol is 70914.

Use the following checkpoint in the Debug Console to ensure that your wallet is on the correct chain:

I have never seen a coin with so many intriguing ways to keep people interested in holding their coins.  Very innovative.  This has potential to draw in a lot of people, love its approach to solve inflation in multiple ways.  I am going back to read the APR Coin whitepaper again, so cool.  Will be keeping my eye on you APR Coin!

At 3000 coins for MN and 10$ presale price thats almost 3btc for a masternode which seems steep for me compared to the other Masternode coins out there. Also i would like to know the purpose for making this coin or is this just another Masternode cryptocurrency. Whats the end game here for making this coin.

Read your whitepaper, this is a very ambitious project you're embarking on.  My only concern is the high price at ICO, but I can foresee a point in the future where this coin is very competitive.  You guys need a very strong marketing team and the community will have to rally so that this coin can be used and transacted as a medium of exchange if not it'll be a bust.  I'm rooting for y'all to succeed.

I really like the idea of this coin. I think it has potential. I also think that many will wait to purchase enough for a MN once it hits exchanges.

I posted this in the Discord, and am curious what you all think as well.

If we look at coins with comparable MC's . .. we can take 1,500,000 x 10 = 15,000,000 MC initially.  If my numbers are correct. That would put it about 150 on CMC.  IMO, I think the pre-sale is much too high and investors would be better off waiting to buy when it hits exchanges. Not trying to FUD here, but this gives a valuation of a 15 million dollar MC. Higher then LUX Coin, Neutron, GoByte, PIRL, and ALQO.

What would stop people from just waiting to buy once it hits an exchange like CryptoBridge?  Just give it some thought guys. 30k is not cheap.

You can buy multiple MN's of established coins for that price and not have to worry that the project is going to tank. I'm not saying it will, but I hope you get my idea.

Well I have give KUDOS for trying to sound legit.

It is true that POS Monkey seems honest and transparent to me, I have had monks from the beginning, and he has always answered quickly and well.

That's why I follow this project closely

Don't care about the pre-sale. That is legit. What is not is the initial distribution method. Furthermore you admitted you will setting up master nodes with the pre sale coins instead of burning them.

I would be very surprised if this coin lasts for more than a two weeks after pre sale.

EDIT: I see now you have changed your mind. *sigh.

To be legit you need to have a fair method distribution, be it airdrops or POW initially or faucets. Buying coins from you is not a distribution method.

Only three more days until the pre-sale.  I've received confirmation their wallets will be available in all three os's this weekend.  Ready for launch.

Some information from APR Dev today:
The apr team is expecting to be have the funds to apply to the exchanges listed in #exchanges.
The pre sale is not ending "as soon as funds are collected for an exchange" it will be running for the set presale duration of time, or until the 1.5 million apr which are available for the presale, are sold.
And, should there be any apr coin remaining (from that 1.5 million) , after the pre sale, and after the crowd sale, those coins will be burned.

The Number One reason for this is the initial cash grab.
To pretend otherwise, no matter the justification, is not truthful.

Additionally, if they are in the US (prob not) and do not have a Business license and a few other things setup properly, they could get Lit Up...legally/taxes, etc.

Fork from PIVX and valaued muc higher than PIVX? LOL i don't believe so

Right. Makes no sense to charge 5 dollars. The team is slick, I give them that. And they have the right twitter promoters that will pump the coin with tweets once it hits exchanges . . . I've talked with them in Discord. For one, having an invite contest just ends up people spamming other Discords . .

And the idea that a project will pull in roughly 350,000 dollars when there is no wallet, no github, no block explorer boggles my mind.   People are being taken advantage of.

This coin better hope for a btc bull again, because a MN coin that costs 1.3 for a MN (again, ridiculous because of reasons listed above) will payout pennies and dump tremendously when it hits exchanges. Compare it to other MN type coins and you will get the idea.

But check this:

1.  Create a MN coin (Which is the hot thing to do in low cap crypto right now)

2.  Pay shills on Twitter to promote (And don't comeback with these guys don't accept payments, I've dealt with two of your promoters personally on other coins)

3.  Create an invite program and spam people (mostly noobs into your Discord)

4.  Initially start at 10 dollars a coin, but then based on "community feedback", lower it to 5 . . which is still high than the coin you are forking from (PIVX) that has a huge community, marketing, attends conventions, and is on the forefront of POS tech.

5.  Take in hundreds of thousands of dollars and presumably use some of that to pay the shills on Twitter and hire or pay a developer to create the wallet (they may have already had a dev, but that's beside the point

6.  Again, no wallet, no block explorer, nothing . . "proprietary code" 

7.  Make mounds of profit . . .

If you are thinking of buying, just be careful and make sure you do your due diligence. The market is bear right now and paying a premium price for a coin that has absolutely nothing at this moment is a horrible decision imo.

Update for @everyone , Our Devs are apologetic for taking so long with wallets release. As we made a couple more implementations with masternodes and gui functions into our wallets a couple bugs sprung up and are currently squashing them. Windows wallet is almost finished and with Mac OS X we are working with bugs. Once our checklist of functions is complete we will start in house testing!  As most of you know we are forking PIVX which is one of the hardest platforms to fork due to many implementations.

Also releasing 3 wallets simultaneously does take extra time. We could release one of the completed wallet OS versions but it would be unfair to the other users.
We do not want to prematurely release our wallet when it's suppose to last 100+ years. The last thing we need are wallets constantly breaking down like other coins out there.

We are trying to rush the process as fast as we can (we hired a second dev last week) so we can use our connections to start developing and implementing our Loyalty Rewards Points Exchange Use case and advertising APR Mainstream!  We have fantastic news regarding our marketing front which will be released at a further date.

Coins sold so far is 145,000 coins or 47 Masternodes and 75+ Masternodes to be sold once wallet's are released.  Again thank you for your patience, and as we get information from our DEVs we will pass it on to you. We are making fantastic progress and very excited to launch APR! Quick Update!

Development testing is going well, Send/Receive works instantly, with all of its functionalities. 90% of all functions are installed and tested. We are currently installing the staking/masternodes and completing those while fixing bugs along the way. We are doing a crush test on the blockchain and network this weekend to make sure we can't break it. After that we have to install our block explorer and update github with our source code for exchange compliance.
 
If all goes well, assuming no major bugs, after this weekend we will know when we will be releasing our wallets to the public!

We have major marketing news for APR coming up and the information will be released after we are listed on an exchange. Through the teams connections we will be taking APR mainstream quicker than previously thought!  We are excited to see APR and APR Loyalty (the official use case) discussed via TV, Radio, and digital media soon. We have also confirmed promotion via a HUGE media platform that we will be announcing sooner than anticipated!

These guys took money from the presale and hired the devs to make the wallets and create the coin. Basically, had NO product and through pre-sales, a nifty looking website, an honestly decent whitepaper (considering the garbage WP's other coins are coming up with) were able to hire devs to create wallets that are now having difficulty.  I'll give the team credit: their WP is not a copy/pasta job.

I hope for the investors sake that you guys didn't hire some goof troop on upwork or something . . .

I know I'm being harsh in this ANN, this coin could succeed, but conducting a presale to raise funds to hire devs, to give twitter shills btc gotten from the presale to promote, to do giveaways for coins that aren't even out yet . . . it's all very strange. And unethical imo.

What is the current price of this coin ? I see someone shared on the very first page 1 APR for $10 which doesn't make sense and sounds unrealistic when original coins which was forked to make this one is being traded at $4.26. I don't think it is available on any exchange yet then from the price was taken without free market ?

Just restart wallet

They changed the terms for the bounty program close to when payouts for bounty started. They put a cap of max. 40 APR "per category". They were more than happy before to take all the free promotion and now refuse to payout full bounty.

When I complaint they offered 100 APR instead of 40 which is only 1/13th of what I should have gotten. My hint that they should edit at least all pages where the bounty listed was noticed and they changed the submit form page (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSftmbUgnql9xxW7IR7hFgR7abfEkA9ePEZtG2ytZWTalbikow/viewform) and this ANN thread  after our discussion.

I'm not calling out the whole project as scam but its fishy what happens here. DYOR and maybe invest in more honest projects. Screenshots available if anyone is looking for more details.

What do we know about this new POS coin? Who are the team? Where will this new POS coin go? And can people make money from it?

What we do know is that APR Coin is created by the same people as HOLD Coin (Interstellar Holdings) and MONK Coin (Monkey Project); HOLD Coin has crashed massively over time, HOLD Coin has had continued issues with dodgy wallets, missing coins in wallets to an exchange that ran away with peoples coins.

MONK Coin again has done badly in price, now we see the fake team of APR create yet another staking coin. Many will know about HOLD Coins fake team which had fake photos of them on their site, one of which was a known Somalian journalist and another a TV Character, no joke by the way!

Now the APR Coin website has new photos of a new team, but their discord channel still used the same fake team as on the HOLD and MONK discord channels.

Even the MONK Coin website has change its team photos to even more new people since it was first made, yes things are just not right with this whole POS boiler room type scam.

So again, both the HOLD and MONK websites have changed their team photos two times since the sites were first made.

What happened to HOLD Coins roadmap where they were creating an exchange, this was just a roadmap to try and gain a price rise when HOLD Coin was suffering, one can search on this site to see comments on this topic some time ago.

Whoever these guys are, they are simply creating one staking coin after another and of course making huge profit, and if their past projects are anything to go by then APR Coin will fall like the others they created. Maybe some short term profit but I would treat this whole dodgy plan as a Ponzi.

I cant believe they have not learnt from their past with bounty programs.

They did a similar scammy thing with Interstellar Holding (HOLD), they offered a bounty but there was no way to claim and did not respond to peoples claims on facebook or their discord channel.

HOLD Coin also has MOCHO17 as marketing and APR Coin has MOCHO17 as special promoter.

If fact all these POS coins have more admin/special role people on each others discord channels that I do not mention.

As you can see they all of the same group. Why you choose to try and make out that APR Coin is not associated with MONK, HOLD and DV7 only adds to the suspicious activities of these POS Coins.

I do not believe that a small boiler room team can possibly run at least 4 cryptos at the same time with success, and as many platforms online will say, there have been numerous problems with HOLD and MONK coins with wallet issues and missing coins amongst other problems.

I believe this team is simply creating new POS coins and making massive financial gains for themselves, whilst the coins then drop in value plagued with issues that cannot be solved. Further more these POS coins market themselves as high gains, how on earth can APR coin keep its value when its other coins have not.

Interestingly APR coin makes this bold statement on their discord channel:

The Bittrex claim is indeed a great sweetener for any potential investor. And of course only time will tell if it is indeed listed on it.

These POS coins only sit on low volume exchanges and do not progress any further, their prices cannot possibly grow on these exchanges.

Unfortunately things are very sketchy with the POS coins in question: listed on low volume exchanges, team member photos and names not real, team photos changing and being deleted, bounties not honoured, wallet issues, missing coins, road-maps not honoured.

And now of course someone saying APR coin not associated with HOLD, MONK and DV7 coins. The discord channels do not lie, they have the same team!

I am really sorry to tell you that all your information are false.

So first things first with the Discord:
Lionz is a project advisor as am I to some more then one project. Both of us have some experience and we were approached by the APR Core Team to help them with some stuff, answer questions and generally get some people that the discord community knows into the channel. We talked a lot to the team and are both confident that the team can reach their goals.

Lionz has a moderation role in like 20+ Coins. He is a bot dev and gives his bots to everyone who wants them. He has no own coin project. I also know who the HOLD Dev is and can assure you hes not the same for APR ;). Despite beeing a bot dev he knows a lot about the buisness and is a great source of information if you ask him kindly for it.

Look around in the coins. You can find a lot of the official promoters are often the same. They are vehicles to spread awareness of projects. They have no active development roles. They help in promotion and some of them also engage with advise if needed. They are all experienced in crypto and well connected to the crowd.

This coin is not a Scam. This coin will have utility and it will be finished soon and not in 10 years (aka never). Its not a generic scam coin. It has a huge team behind the scenes (which I can confirm is not fake) and there will be and is already done a lot to spread word of this. Its confirmed to get listed on a good exchange in the next two weeks (I think its even this week but can't confirm that).

Also: We are not stupid. If we wanted to scam you I can make 5 cheap VPS get 5 Discord Accounts on it make 5 coins and sell that shit like so many others did lately. Its your decision to invest or not ultimately. If you think its a scam then well... Don't. But I think when a team can make contact to a well known Actor who tweets about the coin... Well then you at least have done your networking great ;)

The actor Shin Koyamada did not tweet about your coin, he merely retweeted one of your tweets from your twitter account. And you guys have tried to make a big thing of it. Thousands of people retweet all day long without really thinking about it or really analysing the content.

Also for "Monk had 20$ high" - Monk had a 100k Sat high true. BTC had a nearly 20k$ high and dropped to 60% of that...

CE market is extremely thin and buying the tops will get you burned. You are buying other people's MN rewards or freebies that people got for promoting this project.

I played the spreads and made some money, but if you are inexperienced, be careful in these types of markets.

Wait for APR to get on more exchanges, or wait until price finds a stable range.

The more MN's that get on the network, the lower the rewards will be, so do not fall into the trap of yearly ROI.

I wish this project well but I always want to remind people to be cautious . . . especially newbies who are inexperienced and are losing their BTC to more experienced players.

Update on the TopBTC Situation:

TopBTC Support  responded to a member of the APR Community with this set of messages today over Skype.

They have clearly stated that the 12,000 APR they demanded was not in fact lost at all. They just believe that they should have staked that much by now and that is this "lack of profit" is the fault of the APR Core Team.

It has now become public knowledge that the TopBTC team did not correctly setup their APR Wallets and have staking active, and are blaming the core APR team for this. They have never reached out to the APR Core Team or the APR Community regarding any support or help. Their claim of an APR Wallet update was false and there is no bug or planned update. Their story is unravelling as fast as their reputation and credibility.

As many in the community know, providing timely, helpful and professional support is something the team takes great pride in.

They claim that they should have staked that much by now. Based off of a calculation of the date on which their listing fee (including 24,000 APR) was sent, there is no possible way that they would have even staked 12,000 APR.

Now they wish to barter their way to 6,000 APR instead of the original 12,000 APR they demanded.

As of creating this post, they have yet to send an email to us regarding their "fair deal" extortion attempt of 6,000 APR, which the APR Core Team does not support whatsoever.

I have actually yet to hear of anyone the last couple months being unable to sync... So, is it possible you have something on your computer preventing the connection?  Antivirus, VPN, Firewall?

No, however I am checking the debug.log and get this:
There are no IPv4 addresses on the log, and the time is wrong. What could it be? (other wallets work without problems)

Be patient.  The average right now is about 500 coins for a stake in 24 hours, but this might mean you wait two days and then get a couple stakes.

This is agreeable in every sense. People usually sell their coins when they hear "halving" especially in MN coins. Price dump is very much expected to go on for quite some time and this create panic to other investors. Very excited to see more stores accepting APR as payment.  Especially after mobile wallets are released.

Looks like the people who wanted just a high ROI coin are out, and time for the people who understand the true value of APR are sticking around.

Look at the chart, from day1  till now, the coin is always on down trend. It will def hits under 5k sat. Now they started focusing on DEX which wasn't even planned. They couldn't complete platform they promised, now some community member offered DEX platform, so they are shilling about it. I know many bought at $4 and lost lot.  Another Master Node coin failure written all over. I see many complains they started banning people from discord when they question about their plans. Itself shows where this one is heading.

In almost a weekly fashion, APR has been releasing numerous updates, partnership and development for its coin. The above update is very huge in its own merits and if people only knows the value that it produces, they should stop selling this coin cheaply and begin in stacking it up. The price of this coin has been plummeting from the get go but the team didn't falter at all. Just waiting for APR to turnaround and make a huge comeback.

More exchange, more trading volume, more opportunities for investors to buy APR coin.  ;D

Unfortunately, this is the question of almost all investors of this coin. We all know that its price decreased significantly in the past months and we can't do anything about it. This is just how the market works especially when it is correcting big time from the bull run that we experienced December. Well, as you can see, the Dev team is still active and still provides reports about the progress that they make for this project. Sit tight and just scoop up those cheap APR coins.

Also, I'm receiving rewards more frequently now. I think the network weight has been decreasing (maybe because of people selling their coins) and this is very good for the holders of APR. Just stake/MN and store up those rewards. All of us will be grateful again when this coin flies.

Why are they asking the investors for donations to be listed on another exchange?
The wording also places guilt on these investors
Why have the devs/owners not got 4 Bitcoins between them to pay for the exchange?

You've read enough? ibrahimklc is a supporter and is not one of the APR team so I don't know why you keep quoting what he is saying. APR isn't a company, it's a currency. APR is already on more exchanges than a lot of coins far older than it that are privately funded and has 14 active applications under review, some of which will not cost anything due to the mass adoption occurring. All future exchange listing fees will be 100% crowdfunded, if that makes you mad then so be it, find another project.

ibrahimklc is a promoter, so he is more than just a supporter, he is part of the team and is able to make announcements on behalf of the team.

He have done alot of great work for this community in Turkey, I thank him for that, but he is not one of the core team members. There are exchanges that list for free, i.e Bittrex.

That is correct about Bittrex, but they dont list any old coin. Bittrex is known to need to identified all the devs and mods before they list a coin, the devs are not known with APR, there are no names or photos on the APR website.

It is not likely Bittrex would list APR due to its shady nature and no real purpose, Bittrex has a review to complete which filters about bad coins.

Team ID's does not have to be shared publicly if that was the case all open source currencies would have no chance of being on exchanges. I'm ending this discussion here, your posts are not very well thought of and not well researched, have a nice day.

It seems somebody is going around Istanbul placing APR stickers outside small shops to make it look like they take APR as a payment.

The plan as a whole is not bad, but I cannot see the information about the developers lately, although they all have a business.

Don't know what's happening right now but it appears that someone bought significant amount of APR from CoinExchange making a huge price increase percentage in my portfolio. Maybe this is a fake move to gain some attention from the traders but with the things going right now, any volume for APR is welcome anytime of the day. I've bought this coin during its ATH so I'm a huge loss but rest assured that I'm not selling any of this at these prices.

In accordance to standard practices with exchanges updating wallets, the APR Coin wallet will be put into maintenance mode on all platforms and deposits/withdrawals will be paused until the update is complete. This update was announced on page 1 of the ANN, as well as on all APR social medias including Discord and Telegram. There is a new MANDATORY wallet update called Version 2.1:

It was created to solve syncing issues and works much smoother than the previous update. In addition to minor optimizations and security measures to ensure that extractions are further normalized, all communication between Version 1 and Version 2.1 has now been stopped.

This update also removes ~dirty from wallet version and displays V2.1 correctly.

Please note that V2.1 the ONLY VERSION that will be used moving forward and will be the one exchanges will be utilizing for security and safety purposes.

If you do not update to V2.1 you will not be able to send/receive to exchanges and will not be synced correctly.

When you have synced 100%, make sure that you are at the same block as the Main Explorer:

A new script for Masternodes will be made by Xezz to assist with single and multi cold node setup.

As it is a quick update, once the exchanges, the majority of the community, and staking services have updated to 2.1, exchanges will re-open deposits and withdrawals promptly.

Steps for updating to the MANDATORY V2.1 Wallet Version:

✅ Before doing anything, backup your wallet.dat file somewhere safe. Do not send it to anyone.

✅ You will need to remove all of your files in the %appdata% "AprCoin" folder EXCEPT your apr.config, masternode.config and wallet.dat files.

On Mac OS, these files are located in "~/Library/Application Support/AprCoin". It may be a hidden folder, so hit "CMD+SHIFT+." to unhide it in your Home folder. On Mac, you will also have to delete your APR Coin wallet from your Applications folder before installing the new V2.1 wallet.

✅ Run the V2.1 wallet application.

✅ You will be synced to the correct chain.

StakeUnited Delisting Announcement


StakeUnited has decided to abruptly delist APR Coin from their service due to what they call "low demand". This was done with no notification or communication to the APR community and team. APR Coin is a top 13 coin by value on their pool and there is over 145,000 coins on StakeUnited with 570 members staking APR on StakeUnited; however, they have made clear that their decision is final. Their own advisors also fought for APR to stay on, but to no luck.

When using the "getinfo" command in the Debug Console, please make sure the version of the wallet is 3 and the protocol is 70914.

Use the following checkpoint in the Debug Console to ensure that your wallet is on the correct chain:
