We already have three partnerships with large and famous universities: two in Italy (one in Lombardy and one in Lazio), and one overseas (in the area of Rhode Island). We have others in the pipeline and as soon as possible we will officially share with you the names of these institutions.    

✅  Development and SKI Community Contest:
We are excited to tell you that after arduous work on the development of the Skillchain application…we will soon release version 0.1 for those who have already participated in the project! 🙌🙌🙌    
In the following days, we will launch a CONTEST on this first version, which will allow all those who took part in the previous phases to start a real certification process of their skills. You will share with the Skillchain Team documents 📃  (diplomas, certificates, etc.) and we will begin requesting authorization from everyone you report to us. Once the process ends, you will have timely communications on the progress of your certifications.  We have also thought about those who have not yet had the opportunity to participate actively in our project 🎁 : a trial version of Skillchain will be offered, with temporary and limited availability.    

✅  Development:
In the meantime, we are working on the second part of Skillchain, the service platform that will support the skills validation process.  We want to offer you a 💯% complete and functional tool, Skillchain will be enhanced with a section where you can print, export, and convert your certificates into various formats. There will also be one where you can match candidates/headhunters/companies that are looking for professionals.

We are proceeding to customize what has been developed so far to meet the needs of the various institutions which we have already partnered with, always making Skillchain increasingly attractive to the HR world.

Right now anyone can write anything they want on Linkedin and lie about their experiences, but on Skillchain every detail will be certified so the employers can trust that they find the right match that really has the skills and expertise they claim to have.  :)

I have seen some tokens multiply their initial value several times over despite only being listed on EtherDelta. I am not so enthusiastic about the big centralized exchanges anyway. Where will you list your tokens?

etherdelta is good enough, but yes, other exchanges, especially some pure chinese exchanges could let this token to moon. chinese people are wild to buy cryptos.

The advantage of starting in ETD and similar better exchanges is that with the potential that has SkillChain and the high degree of interest of many, there will be a good initial volume in sales, this makes a better scenario for the arrival of higher volume Exchanges and reputation, and SkillChain will surely reach them.

Yeah interesting we know US has stricted laws so not sure a platform like this would be given much leeway over there. Or if it would be welcome at all.
Plus, you know, US doesn't like icos in general.

There is always going to be legal issues around content based on region. How are you planning to deal with it?

What the base for more transparent methods of doing business?
Is it the modern world market? And how will a social network using large amounts of data be created at the same time. Confidentiality? I mean the technical aspect.

Please guys read the thread more careful. This question was already answered at least couple of times.
Tokens will be used for:
1. Enrolling small formal / non-formal eduction in Skillchain platform.
2. Upgrade the membership and access Premium
3. Fees from transactions, non-basic operations, exchange to other cryptocurrencies.
4. Publishing any small / non-formal course in Skillchain platform.

Skillchain is a useful project for people seeking high-paying jobs depending on their professional skills and also for companies that want to hire highly skilled professionals. Skillchain facilitates the hiring of employees and also checks people for professional suitability.

actually dear, it is hard to track if the community is growing so fast that the pages fly by in days. not everyone has the power and will to read all the info until the last one.

I totally agree with you if you follow a few projects it's impossible to read everything. People who don't do crypto fulltime don't have that much time.

The main advantage for me is the fact that skillchain is decentralized, it’s compliant with the spirit of the crypto world and it’s solve the main weakness of actual big social network, centralization.

The only problem project faces at the moment is, that it needs a lot of user to build up a good social network. I hope Skillchain is doing a lot of good marketing for this.

It's funny to see someone "hoping" it will be decentralized... while this thread clearly stated "Decentralized" =)
Anyhow. The key element in cryptoworld is "decentralized", along with "security" & anonymity.
Although for this specific token the word "anonymous" is not really an element... because it's aiming at job market.
And they just don't allow to be "a nickname»...

Yes, I cant see any reason why people would stick with using mainstream social platforms like linkedin, as the general awareness of the public grows.

The token represents a share of the project. It’s not a mandatory for skillchain to have a use case for the token. I think the value will come from the value and the utility of the platform.

How they will list tokens? What liquidity of tokens?

Apparently their tokens will not have use directly connection to the network, although that would be genius, their valorization will be given independently to the activities if I am not mistaken. The concept of the project is good, and although there are others already active, Skillchain already has a certain reputation and many sympathizers, which will do well to ICO.

in my opinion the best solution is to combine the two aspects in a project the social part and the marketing part, the token i believe it has any active role in the project but must be purchased for the increasing value over time, and to support the team in the development of the idea.

I still wait for an official statement from devs on the channels, but that's just my impression, because I do not think anything documented that cites such a relationship with the tokens. Some projects only work with the dividend incentives and this would be good.

Recruiting companies buy services on the platform to optimize the recruiting processes and to have access to all the research dynamics of candidates that put Skillchain into service. Access for companies is based on different levels, while candidate screening is based on a mechanism where the candidate gains SKI tokens if his LIFE SKILL PASSPORT is of interest to the company looking for certified profiles.
Users can get tokens by using the platform and they can spend them to buy special features in the platform that increase their engagement.

35% will be reserved for the liquidity fund.
10% will be reserved for the team.
These tokens will be at the disposal of the same persons?
If not all tokens are sold, what will you do with unsold tokens? Will these tokens be burned, or will you distribute them between the holders of the tokens? Or will you collect the tokens for yourself?

I can answer the second part of the question: the unsold tokens won’t be destroyed, according to the whitepaper.
As for the first part, I don't really know, but I don't think they will belong to the same people.
