The market is keep on dumping, and some people are now doubting about cryptocurrency do you still believe that altcoins can survive?

For me its a YES but as a newbie its normal to feel doubt, need some encouragement for us to remain positive even the market is red.

Yes it is and why not? if you were including on apart of the old adopters in the cryptocurrency and you will know about in fact it was started from nothing. This time everywhere talking about crypto.

The market looks like still getting bearish trend again. I think that this will be stopped next month.

For me as well yes because we have so many coins with latest technology and many devs doing hard work for bringing more new ways for this which could not be in vain this bearish trend can take some time but this can go away in future and we will watch too many new developers with new ideas and new ways for bringing positive moves in life

For me as a new comers in crypto world I am believing that altcoin currencies will survive because it is the another earning tokens rather than bitcoin crypto currency. Some of the situation in crypto world it is mostly used by the investors as of now.

The cryptocurrency market consists of altcoins. Bitcoin is certainly a key figure in this game, but the altcoins are the future!

No offense, but it does not even make any sense at all! For how much time have you been in here? Bitcoin was the first one, the game changer.. altcoins are just copies, and each one of them have different purposes.

Of course altcoins including their father bitcoin are definitely goes uprise again the price value in the market price.. Don't worry mate hold and be calm to avoid panic to our crypto enthusiasm.
I believe for you strongly believing in cryptocurrency even now the price fall down the other people outside there are panicking about the situation of bitcoin price and altcoins price fall.

Not copies.  Inspired by Bitcoin maybe but not copies.  Altcoins aren't going anywhere.  Many will fie out but most aren't going anywhere.

If btc survives this crash, then alts will too -- at least the good ones. BTC doesn't have the technology that most alts have.

That means that alts still have a use. They're the untested experiments for BTC.

Even if BTC incorporates all alt technologies, there will always be a new alt with advanced tech. So they'll always have a place in crypto.

That said, some alts will always be faster than BTC when it comes to TX, with less fees. These, I believe, will be what people use for daily transactions when crypto becomes a mainstream payment processor.

Cryptocurrencies are still at the beginning of their expansion. There are many altcoins with great projects that you can choose to invest.
We can't expect that all of them will be successful, but the opportunity is big.

I don't hesitate to say YES!, altcoin certainly can survive and will return at its peak.

its a typical bearish question :) alts will survive and we will make huge profit in alts by HODL. alts are suffering because btc crash but this will end somehow and bull will take place than alts will rise again as always. no one knows when it ends but %90 of us know that will end. maybe tomorrow or after one month or later but in end alts will rise again and again. The point is the trust (trust) of the market (us). If the future market still considers the virtual currency as something of value and has good future prospects, its value will likely increase along with the increase of market confidence level.

But if there is an issue strong enough to dilute market confidence in the virtual currency, then its value will potentially drop gradually and can lead to systemic risk. That is why investing cryptocurrency has a high risk, because its value / price is determined by market demand and supply.

Crypto with blockchain will survive.Weak market will shrug off those weak hands and scammy projects. That;'s a much needed correction as well. Overall, major blockchain projects with some really solid token/ICO with real use cases could make it and trigger more general acceptance. I am strong believer of blockchain technology. Crypto tokenization will bring the sharing economy to another level.Bitcoin had been proven its popularity and gaining trust among us.

Cryptocurrency will survive for good, this is just a temporary correction and the market may bounce higher this year. Just relax yourself and everything will be fine at the right time. Eth and btc dump so hard but this two great coin has the ability to pump again anytime.

For sure the altcoins will survive. We have thousands of altcoins now and for sure most of them will increase or recover again from the dumping price. More altcoin that you have more money to come woth you. almost all of altcoin price is in bad condition. and that's fair because when viewed in the market, very little amount of demand exists and that causes prices to fall, plus many traders who start panic and sell its assets

Yes, they'll survive depending on the project like Ethereum can survive easily as it already has a working product and a huge number of companies depend on it. For new projects it no more easy to survive unless they have a great product or service.

If you are an experienced crypto user you should have known this is a temporary situation. I can't understand how come people expect everything go well all the time. This is not how crypto works. I know it's taking a little longer than expected but we should have seen this coming after an unhealty rise we saw in the 4th quarter of 2017. It was unbelievably fast and surprising so everyone was wining and they were happy.

Why wouldn't they survive? It's survival of the fittest. The duplicate, unable to adopt, etc. will be eliminated over time. Maybe all of those funds will be put into alt coins with actual products/uses.

Yes I think they will survive but not all of them. Maybe 50-60% will disappear which I think will be good because we already have too many and its going to be even worse.

In the future, these cheap coins will be even more and this has a positive effect on the market as a whole. Why should they disappear? After all, this is an integral part of the crypto-currency market.

Some altcoins may survive, others are already dead or are going to be dead. Not every companies are going to survive. It is the hard reality. Some coins are just for fun, but they may survive if thoses teams don't care about the money. As they may have another job. And another team may also replace the original team of a project.

I have no doubt for that,  but unfortunately some others will goes into dead. Of having a huge numbers of altcoins existed today some of them might not get attention of the investors and also it is not develop by the owners. And it seems to be they are left behind among the group making not to recover anymore.

It will survive, this is not the first fall and such stagnation on many coins, so we are used to it already. Another question is that the crypto-currencies need to be developed, they need to be introduced into various spheres of life, and this is a problem because volatility and decentralization do not give rest when it comes to the issue of acceptance at the state level.

When you say doubting about "CRYPTOCURRENCY", you know full well that you are referring to altcoins too right? Only a few altcoins will survive in the long term so you need to do lots of research before putting your money in altcoins. If you are holding altcoins you are probably losing more money than just holding bitcoin

First of all I will say I'm keeping my eyes on bitcoin and reason being that success of other coins is predicated on bitcoin so my answer to that question is a yes if it's asked over and over again

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

today almost everyone has the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin at the best prices. And it's good that you have the conviction that Bitcoin's future prospects are good enough. But the whole situation on the market scares me and I doubt my correct decisions.

Altcoin will survive but not every altcoin will survive because not altcoin have already loose the right capacity to influence the investors or crypto currency trader. Besides, some altcoin developer are not working round the clock and this crypto business is made for mature and experience people. Study the historic data of coin before invest and always have plan B to avoid loosing your money.

i think there are many projects going on ! so definitely alts can survive , and do have bright future ahead. read some info before invest in any ICO, that will help to secured your investment !

Yeah, these few months crypto world have a big correction, but I still believe if cryptocurrency will have a big role later. I have been read a post by somebody that crypto just introduced their self in 2017. In 2017 the price is unbelievable, I'm also joining because of that condition.

I see many times the market of Crypto fluctuates, Altcoin prices increase and decrease frequently. So last time atlcoin price fluctuation I do not worry. Today, I saw the market rebound. They are not as easy to break as many predicted. I believe Crypto will explode in late 2018.

Of course Altcoin will survive this world. With advanced technology developed Blockchain. The world needs a technology like this, the altcoin will never break. You will see that only a dozen coins still exist. So when searching for which altcoins will survive, you already have "inside" information: what made these few ones survive and the rest gone to either oblivion or much lower parts of the table? That's true, once bitcoin will explode the price this year the altcoins will follow. Since the dumping stage happen these months I think for sure altcoins can survive. Those with potential coin at dump stage it can survive but definitely shit coins will not.

Not all altcoins will survive as you can see in coinmarket cap the top altcoins has the highest market cap and trading volume which the others dont and they will eventualy be delisted.

Strong altcoins will survive over the time of course but 95%+ will die over the long run. Most of them even doesn't have MVP or useful product, some of them can't do what they suppose to do, some of them will scam it's own participants and disappear.

That's why we will be needing to do proper research on where we should risk our investment, we will never know when will the project succeed or just get lose, so at least some verifier that the project have something to say in the future will at least keep at as ease on having them.

I like you. For a project to survive in this market it must show the good of the project. Otherwise it will gradually be forgotten and will disappear from the market.

Yes! because this is normal that most of of the people who are in Crypto investments will got confused because of this very unstable price performance of the whole market in which mostly will be in fear to lose their investments specially after the ultimate price dip which occur last December to February but when the Bitcoin and Altcoins will rise up again reaching the former ATH last year in which it will make the market to become stable and healthy again, then maybe that will be the time that the confident level and trust to the market by the people will return making the price to become more stable and strong.

I think the first quarter is usually bad. But the other three quarters are quite good. So please be patient. I still hold most of the altcoins like the ETH, ETC, Bitcoin Cash and XMR

The market trend has been changes, most altcoin price was affected as Bitcoin fluctuation. Back a year ago, when Bitcoin price was down for few times, most altcoin price are going raising. That's good time when Bitcoin got correction, market traders convert Btc to other coins such as Eth, Xrp, LTC, etc. At now, everything conditions was related, when Btc price starting fall down, many people who keeping altcoin getting worried and starting to do panic sell, they feel being safe to convert it to Fiat for a while.

I have more than a year in cryptocurrency and I would not say that such a situation is easy to carry. My portfolio decreased 10 times, compared to what it was in January, it's not normal.

I do not think Bitcoin will promote the other altcoin. I think all the coins have a common influence on the whole world. They operate independently of each other, but are subject to the general influence of the market. I still believe that altcoin will continue to exist and be sustainable in the future. Men, of course altcoins will survive
Not all of them (maybe most of them would be cicked out from the cryptomarket and the cryptoworld) but they will survive
In my opinion such coins as Ethereum, NEO, RIPPLE, MONERO, TOR - they will survive and bring a great profit

At some point the whales will turn the market around. They are controlling the market and will undoubtably decide once they have sold enough to fill up again. the market will come back and most altcoins with it.

We have too many altcoins and pretty sure that they will recover when the bitcoin can recover the market soon. You can make deep research on potential projects, then decide which one can be chosen to buy or join the bounty campaign.
