Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Most of the altcoins will disappear and lose all of it's value. Altcoins do not have a long lifecycle imho.

It is best to always buy some new and unpumped ones and sell them during pumps.

Only good altcoins will remain for sure but many new altcoins will come. Its good to enter the market early but if you really believe on that project better to stay for long, since the opportunity to make higher profit is possible.

Don't just enter to pump the coin, focus on the techlnology and support it all the way.

We all know that they are struggling as of now, but I believe that altcoins will survive. They are already a trend around the world, so as long as people support altcoins, there’s no way that it will die. As for experienced ones, we don’t feel panic because we all know that the market will soon stabilize and make the coins rise again. Just have to trust your altcoins and you’ll see the results in the future.

I am still sure. a lot of people are getting to know the old crypto and that will make them want to have. This would make the market getting crowded and the price is becoming increasingly high.

I second the motion. The entire market is struggling. So there is no question about survival. What is happening right now is a common occurrence that has happened time and time again in the past. And in the end, the result will always be a positive growth for altcoins, except of course those that are not really worth surviving. Panic has no place in crypto. It is bad to both the altcoin owner and the altcoin market itself.

The market is keep on dumping, and some people are now doubting about cryptocurrency do you still believe that altcoins can survive?

For me its a YES but as a newbie its normal to feel doubt, need some encouragement for us to remain positive even the market is red.

Don't compare the current trend with last week or last month, if you compre with last year same period you will come to know that the price the crypto market trending is far better. For example Bitcoin was trending around $1000 last year April but now it is trending around $7000. This proves that we're still in green.

This is sure Altcoin will develop sustainably in the future. They are not easy to lose. Although prices are falling, the Crypto market is promising. Some countries gradually accept altcoin. It is likely that the altcoin price will end this year.

In my opinion altcoins will survive for sure. until the next bullrun most of the altcoins will survive and follow the way up. look at some coins like reddcoin. people thought they are dead after june 2017 but they came back without reason in december 2017, like many others. but in the long long term (few years) only a few coins will survive.

The emergence of crypto-money other than Bitcoin was intended to solve the high fee and transfer fee of the slow transfer in BitCoin. Now they are bringing even more innovation and technology. I do not think this development and change will come to an end. Altcoins will be in our lives in the future.

Sounds too good to be true? The Artis Turba ICO is already over and with $5 million in funds the team has already started with the development of the Artis Turba Exchange - and it is expected to be live in June 2018 from where these earnings will be implemented Cool

Forward Together!

Strong altcoins will survive over the time of course but 95%+ will die over the long run. Most of them even doesn't have MVP or useful product, some of them can't do what they suppose to do, some of them will scam it's own participants and disappear.
I like you. For a project to survive in this market it must show the good of the project. Otherwise it will gradually be forgotten and will disappear from the market.

I personally know a few failed projects that have issued their coins, which are not backed up by anything. But the price for coins still holds. How do you explain this?

We have too many altcoins and pretty sure that they will recover when the bitcoin can recover the market soon. You can make deep research on potential projects, then decide which one can be chosen to buy or join the bounty campaign.

if I think in the future altcoin will be more and more due to rapid technological advances, and not rule out a lot of coins by bringing new and unique algorithms from existing ones.
So most likely altcoin will survive with technological advances.

You are right, but when the altcoins die, the new ones take their places. So it only confirms that the altcoins will not die now, and in the nearest future.

We can be calm about it now

this trend will not be completely erased even if it is not very good, it will only be a little bit depreciated but it will recover in the long run.

Altcoin will survive if the developer is responsible for their roadmap and the whole marketcap is not crash. There are many old altcoin still survive untill now or even going bigger like : dash, monero, ethereum, litecoin and many. Those coin have a good community and believer support it. The developer also still develop and maintain the coin or upgraded the software ( wallet )

Altcoins will survive, but not all. And it's good, it will be much easier for others to attract investments.

Imho we will see altcoins "spring" soon. In that time all will be clear. Who will live and who must die. But today patience and some trading are the best choice
