I am very afraid for my crypto balance.At present I have some coin.I brought this coin previous december month.But at this time my balance to become very small.So I feel fear for see empty balance in future.Any one can advice me now what i am doing.Will I sell or hold my coins?

If this is bitcoin your talking about then hold it because there is a bigger change that the price will recover but if your talking about Altcoin it will depend on what coin you have invested in, when it is Ethereum there are a chance but not that big like bitcoin that it will return its price back when bitcoin value recovers, otherwise if you will sell your coins right now you had still lose an amount so make a gamble and hold your coins until it gain an amount at least you have fight a good fight.

Well it completely depends on which coins you have in your balance currently. If they are among the good, top 10-15 coins, you can just hold them. If they are comparatively newer coins and they're going down, you might just want to sell them. You should hold the good coins as they should be going up again soon. After such drops, the market would need some time to recover.

Are you in urgent need of money right now?? The coins you are holding are they going to be delisted from major exchanges due to low volume?? or the developer's team of that coin have stopped their work to deliver & enhance the project according to their roadmap?? Think!! if any of mentioned criteria is true in your mind then sell you coins in exchange of good potential coins that are likely to rise & are top 20 in coinmarketcap. If all criteria are false, then hold your coins & have patience till the market gets a green signal, it will take time to recover. Once the market is in green then sell your coins with profits if you don't want to hold it anymore.

Keep holding, if possible forget that you have got some coins and move on with your normal activities. It will be more painful to see the markets appreciating right after you sell your coins.

Hello! Rosa, first one - don't panic, I hope you didn't invest your last money in crypto assets. It would be really sad, because nobody could guarantee you the growth. This was fully your decision, to buy. What you can do now? If you need cash right now, so the answer is obvious - sell and get the lesson. Second option - hold until the situation in market changes. When it happens? only God knows!

Shouldn't be investing anything you can't afford to lose to be honest, take the profits when you can and don't be greedy. I started out with a $1500 investment back last August and since then withdrew 2x $400 when the price was good. Yes it eat into my 'profits' at the time but as the price now tells, profits aint a profit until you cash out. I'd recommend this to anyone in future looking for a safer investment without the greed of "Oh I won't have as much profit if this goes x10, x20 etc".

There's no need to fear to have an empty balance in the future. As long as you are determine, hard-working and persevere to achieve your goals, empty balance can't stop you. Never lose hope and keep on aiming your goals. Don't fear but being optimistic in times of struggling makes you survive.

I'm sorry to hear that you brought coins at the top price last December because there are really FOMO around that time and I think you are one of them. Sadly though there was a sudden U-turn of sentiments resulting in a massive bearish trend that drop the price up to today.

So there is nothing you can do for now. Just continue to hodl and hope for the best. Because if you just today, I think you will lost around 60%-70% of your portfolio so its not really good for you as a investor. On the contrary this is a goo opportunity to buy more coins specially the top 10 and continue to hold for at least the end of the year. And maybe by that time we have bounce back and recover and most of the coins are hitting all-time-high and you will be happy that you continue to hold.

Okay first what are your coin/s currently holding? sell it if you want to recover your remaining money if that is shitcoin and if not then hold it top currencues in coinmarketcap have to potential to gain huge profits in future and if you looking currently bitcoin price is rising if bitcoin is rising and the alts are rising too but don't celebrate yet it may fall again.

Unfortunately, you purchased during the highs of cryptocurrency.  You should consider buying more so you can average down the price of your crypto and HODL what you currently have.  Do some bounties and cash them out to buy your coin if you're out of money. 

I have known some who buys at hihj then lose interest in crypto thinking they got scammed, just don't do it to yourself, do collect more and have patience. You'll not regret it soon.

I have the feeling that all of our hodling in the future will have a value right now it's zero might as well wait for a good develop of software and their special catalyst to be valuable.

Just continue believing for it will soon come back to rise and don't sell your coins this time at a low cost. if you think selling now , your probably going to end up buying high later on most coins gone down 80% from ath ( December - January ) yes it might go down but only a little bit now , best option is to hold it out till the dust settles

Like some have said already, you shouldn't be investing what you're not willing to lose. And remember this space is still new and there's still big companies waiting to come in with their money. Don't expect to get rich overnight or in a few months and be patient. If you believe in the tech, this major correction/crash shouldn't worry you. Once you make profits again, take out what you invested and ride the rest out and check your portfolio balance in a few years.

Think positive mate do not lose your hope for your profits soon just hold your coins forget about for a while your coins for a month and relax yourself and after a month look back and check the price in the coinmarketcap surely the price rebound. for me, i fear my empty balance not in the future but now since is working status is convern,I work in company every 15 days salary i have always empty balances.Maybe i know yet what is feel in that situation.so i engaged this business to solve my balances not now but also in the future.

Its hold if you sell then you lose your money be patience and stay what you are. Ine of my friend he hold his btc for 2yrs with ave of 700-900 before then it went down to 200-300 look the patience he posses, now he is happy to sold his coin at high prive, but now is different lots of altcoins then it was definitely a hold. Maybe try to travel or do anything not crypto related its hard to decide now when market is so bearish, always think if there’s a short then bullish is there also. Think you are not alone so be calm. If before some days, I will certainly not hesitate to recommend you hodl, but now I am also a little hesitant.

better calculate your loss first, then calculate whether it is too big or not, if not better sell it. because I believe the future of coin will continue to fall. when the coin price drops to the lowest point then you buy it again for d hodl until the price goes up. indeed it is a bit risky but in my opinion it is the right step to cover your losses at the beginning of purchase.

I think my balance is a bit worrying recently. Last year is still up to the amount that i satisfy.  But now the price keep on dropping. I will not put any fresh money into crypto to prevent not much big losses in the future.

the only time when you will record lost in business is when you have miss sold goods with a less worth value.. since the coin is still in your wallet you don't have to panic just keep calm and wait till the coin market has regained it a normal value then go back and check the price again and you will see that your wallet will make you smile once again instead of selling it off now and regret later.

This year having red tide in cryptocurrencies is very alarming. Many of us hoping that it will rise soon so that we can recover on what we lose. For now, I do still hold my coins as i do have some extra money left for allowance and not yet need what i invest in crypto.

My advice is if you are a good trader, you can daytrade. if you are not a good trader, just buy the best coins gradually during the dip, dont check your balance for years, only invest the amount that you are willing to lose.

Selling your coins in bearish price will put yourself in a big lose  since as you said you bought your coin during the bullish price. The best way you can do right now is to hodl and wait until the price rise again then you can earn profit. Though, I think it will takes time to recover but at least when that time comes you will not repent that you sold your coin. Forget about your coin for a while and do not look for the price every minute so that you will not panic. Divert your attention for the meantime through airdrops and bounty to collect more .

Yeap we all lost out big time for not selling in late DEC 2017 and early JAN 2018 but there you go, we all live and learn. I wouldn't dump any coins for cheap right now, unless it is life and death and you need to live off the income. I am just taking out my basic living expenses and have cut down on everything I could possibly cut down on, like a coffee once a week in the local cafe I used to go to with my Mother. Now we don't go out at all and economize in order to try to get more coins together and grow the bags again. DON'T SELL CHEAP!

Hold it, selling would means losses. I strongly feels that market will bounce up again in the coming months. We are still on midyear, let see at the third quarter of the year. History tells that this months almost all coin will rise to the top.

I can feel you too man because it's more than 75% of my crypto assets have been cut off since the continuous fall of bitcoin's market price. But amidst all of that, i remain calm and i still manage to buy a portion of bitcoin and add it to my bag. Instead of fearing to have an empty balance, i took it as a chance to buy some.

I was also afraid of this and some of my coin are in loss for -90%. Now i make cash flows and invest these money in top 100 CMC, as well as in blockchain 4.0 projects.

Actually in your situation it is really hard and it’s very difficult to decide weather you hold or sell since you are also thinking that “how about bitcoin will never come back to same price again? How about if this coin will be moredump soon?” Those are really hard to solve since you are also doubting since you invest on it. But you can’t do anything but to hold and wait.

In the first place, you should only invest on bitcoins if you believe that the coin has the potential to grow and never invest into cryptocurrency if you cannot take the risk.

I still believe that the best thing to do is to hold. selling is not an option as it is like you are only throwing away your tokens. Sometimes  I am also disapppointed to see my folio all are in red but I believe it will recover soon.

There's no point in selling at the moment as alts are beaten up heavily. If you can manage to average down so you can get out of them earlier is better. Yeah that is bad some of the exchange are getting some of your coins in due time as they will get a fee for holding and securing your crypto on their wallet. Too bad they had an exchange like that. Anyway here in the Philippines we do have a local exchange and unfortunately they had a high transaction fee every time you do transaction with them so holding crypto is the best thing to do with that kind of exchange.

I guess it's not just you, there are many people who experience similar things especially in this decline. I personally have a fair amount of altcoin results from bounty and some investment. almost all its value is lost by more than half. and sometimes makes me quite sick. but if it refers to the future progress I think there is a lot of chance the market will be re-pumped

You need to check the coins you are holding, I am also down 99.6% in my portfolio since January, in other words, I am at the lowest point in value of holdings for the last two years, so I am also in the same boat, but it can't get much worse now, even if we retrace 505 before the next bull run, the next bull run might recover at least 505 of our losses if we are holding decent coins and tokens.
