No!!! what are you talking about, it can’t go RED. I have so much hope in it. Waiting for the crypto Boom. It is the only hope for me.

It is pure manipulations from the financial institutions which controlling bitcoin's market maybe because they want to get more bitcoins by dumping the market,they will buyback from the bottom giving them more bitcoins this is the never ending cycle of the market and you should get a long with these people or else you will lose a lot.

behind all that I feel there are lucky parties there is also a loser, the red market does seem as if there is in front of us, it is because the price stability has not reached and not in accordance with that many people expect, so feels like a loss, but if you want observed the disadvantage is on one side and the advantage is on the other side, it means when smart to take advantage of the situation will be gained two advantages, if not able to use it then it could be got two losses. Simply buy at a time when selling expensive time.

wether we like it or not, the reality is the market is on RED right now!
and it did happen in previous years so those veterans in crypto are not worying ( i hope so). but it will likely to recover in 3rd quarter in this year ( im hoping).
so lets just have faith on it and think positively on whats going on!

This is what they want,the community to think the market will collapse so that weak people will cut losses or will sell in panic! so that these market manipilators will have more chances of getting more bitcoins in cheaper prices,that is how dirty these people making a lot of money from these FUDs and bloody markets that they have started to! hold your coins so you can prevent bigger loss.

No, it's just a little correction after crypto has broken another barrier on above $7400 for bitcoin and $410 for ethereum last week. It may not profit-taking by the majority of whales consider that looks like we are still at the bottom. As you said, they are trading for short-term to gain quick profit as fast as possible.

At present the market is very volatile, yesterday rates increased in just a few hours and then dropped rapidly. So you need to set multiple prices for the crypto to be able to take profit shortly after the market signs of recovery. This time almost everyone traded short-term instead of long-term hold as before.

Its ok to incur lose for now but of course don't sold your holdings at lose. The market will turn RED no matter what so you better to be prepare on that, green days will come and maybe within this year, no one can tell the exact date for that my I know many people hope for that also.

I don't think so. It is still prt of the correction joined with fud and people panic selling. Its gonna be green for long anytime soon. Im ready to collect profits. I bought enough during this dump and since we've already reached the bottom, i believe the bullrun is gonna start anytime soon. No need for negativity now.

some group of masses are offering low prices, thereby scaring potential hodlers, forcing hodlers to sell cheap while the defaulters buy the dips.

The market been in red since 2018 starts , nothing to panic about since it gets too much attentions and critisism now by media that makes the panic sellers alive. When they are done in crypto we might see the green we were all hoping.

It is not RED, it is always red since we started this year. But I still hope for green days in the next following months. Since we are down there's no way but to go UP  :)

The market seems to have reached a low limit and will stay here for quite a period. There are both good news and bad news coming and the market is nearly constant but it's mainly the FUDs and fake news that has been decreasing the price at current time.

We don't need a new thread everyday saying that cryptocurrencies are red or green today.  We all know how to check the prices and look at coinmarketcap multiple times everyday.

There are many questions like this and this may be the last time I read ;D, In 1 Hour Bitcoin or altcoin can drastically fall in price, many factors affect the price. starting from the policy of a country, continuous selling action and the continuous FUD.

I think being red the market are nothing to be worry about because it's a part of it's system circulation that there comes the time that it will be in red and some other time it's being green. Maybe this is a way of having it's equally performance for being a much productive market.However, there is a fact that some big investors are taking this opportunity to buy many coins in a much lower price therefore it could be making much higher profit to them in the near future when the market are performing better again.

Do not worry you so much. This is specially done so that as many people as possible get out of the cryptocurrency and thereby lowering its rate. Better buy at the bottom, be sure that no one can prohibit the crypto!

Exactly not everyday is green day. So in this time like this, is the best time to take advantage and get some profit in the future.  And everything should be balance, their are red days time and for sure a green day time will come. Just don'y panic in this kind of days. The key to success is HODL!

no it is more like stop loss where people are dumping at a smaller loss because they are anticipating a much bigger dump hence a bigger loss on the way. and of course there is always the fear of a massive dump that will bring the panic sellers to their knees and when THEY start dumping things get ugly pretty fast. so the experienced traders are cashing out now before the scary stuff begins.

What is happening, only yesterday I watched and answered on the topics of "Market GREEN". I think that now the market is stabilizing. However I don't understand why people throw a panic due to jumps of less than 100%. That's okay, someone puts in coins and make such a jump. It is better now to monitor the market through bitcoin. It is not subject to jumps from investments.

It's normal for the market to turn red. It's a feature of encryption. Red is lucky for traders because they can buy bitcoins and sell them when the market turns green.

Being red the market is consider as a normal thing. Wherever you were go in any kind of market it is usually happened. The ups and down are maybe the reason why crypto market are staying strong and have it's long existence. In the market it's not normal flow if it's only making higher and higher because it means that there is a high possibility that the market can die or end in much nearest time because there is no equality happened.  Like in trading, a lot of investor are really eager to buy more coins when it's in a low value therefore when the value of it will rising up again this is the time that they going to sell their holding coins so they make much higher profit in the end. This would be a normal marketing flow.

I do not see how you can now profit when the percentage in green is up to 5, and in red to 15. And the long-term outlook is still vague and it's not a fact that we will return to the previous level.

If a market like this continues it would be nice if we do not make long-term investments because the price change is very fast and if it goes down too bad in, if long-term trading it will only be a waste of time.

Two traders, one holding at a loss and they do not want anymore, two is already in profit but do not want to lose further profit usually newbies do that or those who are have invested with their life savings and they have so many of these type of people in our midst.

We have been in the bearish season for quote sometime. The market is sure in the red. The issue is that, this bearish trend was caused by the whales and by the media to get the prices down and maybe buy cheap coins for themselves and the newbies sold off. We need to hold onto our coins for the long term to be able to see some significant gains

Most likely the red market is the result of manipulation by large players, it remains only to wait when they begin to inflate the bubble and make money on it.

Yes they are the day traders, there's no exemption for being a day trader, whales, small traders and at the same I believe that they are also a long term holder.
They have wallet for long term and they have their capital for day trading.

yes, that's what I do for now, wait and be patient then buy and resell. this is a way to reduce losses when past long-term investments.
there are various ways I can do when the situation is downhill. we know everyone is losing out, and this is why we should survive and try to reduce the losses before the market becomes growing and stable

Yes, some people have now resulted into plan B. Some have resolved that if what they hold cannot give them profit at this time, they will prefer to go into trading. That is why most times, we see the prices dwindling. There might still be more red even in this month and next, but i believe the red, most especially the dumping of major coins is gradually facing out. We might start seeing escalating prices soon. So you can either result into holding or keep trading.

Each person certainly has their own plans and different efforts to deal with situations like this, but it doesn't mean the long-term is easily foiled and switches to quick profits like trading. Those as holders will not giving up easily and remain more optimistic in their long-term plans.

Yeah. We are for sure not out of the woods yet. Every time bitcoin jumps up a few 100 we go back down right away. We kinda get settled at a new level and again, we drop a few 100. We just have to wait it out.

I don't know who in such a market, as today, can make a profit. For those who bought at the peak, it is extremely unprofitable. For those who purchased much earlier, when the BTC cost $ 1200-2500, now, too, it is not reasonable to sell. the red market is almost three months less, just a few days turn green again red. I think it's difficult to determine the current situation. most people just hang on and wait until things get back to normal. but actually there's a lot we can do. as you say short term trading is a great way for now.

The market has gone red indeed and I think it is not out of place though it’s discouraging and seem hopeless for those that want to make exchange right away.  One thing I know is that, It happened last year and people sold out their coins and token out of panic in order not to lose them but eventually the market got stabilized and led to regrets. Some coins has dropped drastically, even the one that looked promising, are falling how much more those that are not too strong,  I advise, no panic, just stay calm and we will see the market return to the desired state that we want.

Don't get scared by the market because right now it is red but soon (few weeks) the market will be green again

I think the market will continue like this in a red, with the issue of banning ads Bitcoin in social media like Facebook, Google, Twitter and the new ones about the Bitcoin baned in India.

If the market is red and you are a long term investor then you wouldn't affect by the crash. Most of the time, people who scared the dump of crypto are those who are day traders.
There are reasons behind dump and one of it is the act of banning by social media sites such as google and fb.

It's actually alarming and disheartening seeing the market bleeding so much. Thou, before it became so worse like this, it has been predicted and expected but its reverberation is getting too much to bear. Everyone has eyes and can see that market is red unless you are trying to forget about the loses you are making at the moment and for that matter, not watching the crypto markets. The market will recover surely this year but only time will tell. Pump and dump groups and also doing a great harm to the general market but all these will stop soon when hodlers come to the market. I don't think market Red because profit taking out. Crypto market still the best place to get highest profit, so market Red means whales still keep the market in low value and prepare for new push up trend.

That's for sure, people who trade want quick profits, and investing takes a long time to make a profit. But with this situation with a red market, both will take advantage of falling market prices, if they remain confident the market will rise again later.

Probably it is all depends on what price you avail the coins and what is the current price in doing trading. Big profit is more good but sometimes we should learn to play with the movement of the market that we should not end up in great loses. Maybe minimal is okey.

The market is all red, but I think in June it's likely the market will recover, and all the altcoin will be green again. The moment is best to buy and hold the altcoin. You will probably regret not buying and holding them now.

Ok so as we have seen the BTC price last week was about 7000-7500$ ,now it have decreased much more at about 6500$ , so with it have dropped ,also prices to Altcoins.It's something normal.Yes, the market now in an imbalance but that doesn't mean that is dying or spmething like that.Anyway, it will not last forever, over a few weeks I still think it will grow again.And now you can buy altcoins or BTC so take a little advantage from this.

Exactly ! Many short term investors are facing losses in their trades just because they are selling in a loss. They don't understand that if they don't sell at such cheap prices then , they won't have to face any losses or rather it's because they don't have faith in BTC . It is known that the people who actually don't believe in the asset they trust, often lead to losses. The market is in a down trend and it obviously should be in a decline. Last year there was a huge growth in crypto and a downward trend is necessary for crypto to grow steadily. Just be patient for a while and wait until the market gets stable.

I can make more money in the red market by trade in waves. I would eat wave from the potential coin about 5-6% / 1 day.

Crypto markets are getting worse and prices are falling, all coins including Bitcoin are in the red zone. The issue of negative that has not receded yet is largely what causes the market price to fall. But do not panic I am sure in the next few months the market will soon recover with time and negative issues about Bitcoin start to fade.

Nobody is taking a profit right now, as there is no profit. The market has been red like this for the last month, showing only brief signs of recovery. Remember, no news is good news in the world of crypto, whereas bad news is often interpreted as the end of crypto. Don't expect to see much green for the next few weeks until there's some good news.

today, I see on bittrex, there are many coins that are trying to getting high. rads are break more than 20% the increase although it could be for the just temporary increase, it will attract another coin to do the same things. I guess right now, people will take a profit if the situations are continued like this. we only hope that the market still green in this month so we can take much of profit from every coin we have. besides that, bitcoin will increase again.

Whats wrong with it? no market goes only in upward direction, every market takes correction after an enormous upward journey. Same is happening with the crypto market right now. Get use to it, that is why it is call market. It can't move upward everyday it is not a fixed market the buyer and seller determines it. I am not moved by the downtrend it will definitely come up again.

What is happening right now is pure manipulation by big whales. Since cryptocurrency has no regulation, they can freely do what ever they want unlike in stock market. Those whales in stock market are now shifting to cryptocurrency and trying to take advantage of the situation.

What exactly I think is happening is that some whales are trying to manipulate the prices in the market by selling huge which is resulting in panic selling of a lot of people. Also, there are other factors like news which might be affecting the price negatively.

Yes, he's red. But it does not say anything, because the news constantly give positive signals about the legalization of the crypt and its integration into the financial system of the world. The prices of coins do not reflect the real state of things.                        

As of today most of cryptos are gong red and for me it is advantage to us to buy some of it because once the value of cryptos turn to green it time ti harvest our profit form price dump. I agree with you that we should make short-term investments because it will make us comfortable making decisions. Uncertain market conditions like today are very worrying and make us not confident. Short-term investment is the best option, the risk is small. So the mindset we must have is to take action when we have gained a profit margin between the selling price and the purchase price.

Relax dude its too early to conclude and it's just only the first quarter of the year. You know that the market is so volatile especially the cryptocurrency market, you must know the pros and cons investing in it. For long-term investment, you must hold the coins as long as you can and wait until it reaches its highest value. some "clever" people have been saying that the market is going Green. If you see the last 4 months, we've only had declining market.

Nowadays, bears are just joking , trolling and misleading people to buy , showing green from time to time, inviting people to join the hype of a big green train to Max prices.....and as soon as they get their 4 or 5% they insta sell, because they consider that a realistic price of all coins are with ETH around 400$ and BTC at whatever price it's now. Noone believes it can go up right now. If they buy at 450$ ETH there is a possibility that you'll lose money. But buying in the lower part and massive selling at 400$ dollar range, you can be winning that 4-5% everytime forever.

Im a complete layperson to all this I have a small grasp of how the markets work, the whole "FUD" and "FOMO" trend stuff, and bear and bull signs. But I have one question, isnt the simplest fact of the market that a price of an altcoin is whatever someone is willing to pay for it? I see altcoins spike in value randomly and that was just some guy on some exchange somewhere who's highest sell order was way above the market price but he just HAD to have some now so he was willing to pay more satoshis for it.

People look on coinmarketcap or coingecko or any of the sites for the $USD value of the coin but the entire value of it is not absolute. The price on that site is an "average" of all the exchanges reporting their satoshi value on the BTC market then its all math to exchange it into FIAT currency values. So the entire market is dictated by the major sites like coinmarketcap via having everything on their site converted through bitcoin. I blame a lack of USDT pairs and also easy and safe exchanges for FIAT.

If there were no red color then there will not be any green. Totally agree with you. It's that simple, yet somehow people fail to understand the correction we're seeing right now and still believe in miraculous 'to the moon' in the early 2019, where we haven't even finished with the correction.

For the last year, there's plenty of bad situation that brings the price to go down more.
So, if we are monitoring closely, the red price now is not as significant as before, it's just a small price reduction but price will recover afterwards.
