It's true there will be a ban but it has not been announced yet, and I do not think it will happen and just as news to lower the bitcoin price for them to buy at a cheap price.

Not all social media banning Bitcoin, currently prohibited is only an advertisement about Bitcoin.  why they banned Bitcoin ads, I think they get a huge profit from advertising.

There has been news about facebook banning crypto ads, as well as google and twitter according to some sources. Nevertheless, it being seen on facebook advertisements as of the moment does not mean that it is not banned, it is just that maybe the banning of crypto ads is still not due today. Other's might be right though since there are no official statements yet from facebook but in twitter's case, the sources that says it will also ban ads related to crypto is credible.

Firstly stop panicking! The news is not entirely true! Facebook, Google and Twitter decided to ban cryptocurrency advertising that is being served through their advertising platform. They have not decided to ban crypto related accounts. So you are owner of a crypto related accounts, you don't have to worry and you can still participate in bounty campaigns.

the real part is that you can no longer advertise cryptocurrencies on Google or Facebook anymore. for example people can no longer scam others through ICOs using these platforms.

you can no longer receive free crappy tokens that are scamming others.

Yes, there are some social media bans on bitcoin, but not all social media is banned, and only a few have banned bitcoin. I in some social media can still see some ads about encryption currency, I only saw the Google and facebook prohibits bitcoin and ico information, but I still can see about encryption currency advertising on facebook

Bitcoin being banned on social media (whether it is true or false) will not affect your bounty hunt that much as you will still be able to participate in most bounties. The only one that is bit a problem now is with facebook where some ICO pagelinks are removed.Every other thing is going on smoothly

Not all social media blocks advertising and ICO crypto currency. Facebook and twitter are planning and it can still change. If you participate in social media campaigns, we just wait, there must be a solution to that. Because crypto growth is very fast. They can only limit crypto currency space. But can not stop it. So don't be afraid.

This is false news. Google and some social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter just banned the paid advertising of Bitcoin and crypto currencies. But people and ICO projects still have their accounts and could advertising about their cryptos in this platforms without any issue right now. There is no planned banning of crypto in social media as you mentionned.

Trading Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies with one another happens through a blockchain platform, which has not been confirmed as a legal digital money transaction method until now. Other than just discussing cryptocurrencies on social media, many people started to create ads representing Bitcoin sale, and it was actually found to be violating the ad campaign rules of Facebook, which is one among the giants in the world of social media. As these digital money transactions and businesses are not legalized and authorized in many parts of the world, Facebook decided not to endorse or let their users make use of their platform to create ads related to cryptocurrencies.

The company initiated by Mark Zuckerberg argues that the content of those advertisements is related to deceptive and misleading promotional practices.

You are not yet in prison and never will be because you didn't violate a rule at all since you only post crypto-related infos on your wall which is not included on the conditions of the ban. In my perspective, what's not allowed anymore is that ICOs' advertisements are directly promoted by FB (e.g. Ads tgat are popping on the side of our wall).

Also me, I see crypto-related posts in some  groups who uses btc 'til now and I'm pretty sure that FB will also prohibit it because that will means suppression of freedom of speech.

This is wrong my understanding is the crypto currency advertisements that are trying to push ICOs are the specifically banned ones, at least for Twitter.

Twitter, like the other social media platforms doesn't differentiate between content that's being advertised, meaning that everything related to crypto isn't allowed to advertise (eg, tokens, wallet services, exchanges, cloud mining, etc). It would be a great thing if they just prohibited certain aspects from buying ad space, but that's too much of a hassle for them. I am sure that if the demand for ad space from legitimate crypto sources was high enough, these social media platforms would make various exceptions for exchanges or wallet services and exchanges, but that's not the case. On the other hand, that's a good thing, because that basically means that legitimate services weren't actively advertising on social media, and thus won't be that much affected.

Yes we continue to see the social media platforms banning the advertising of cryptocurrencies and ICOs. I believe the businesses just do not understand how to access these and are just simplying trying to reduce all exposure to any possible negative press, due to scams.

Then you should stick around much at bitcointalk. There are enough updates here on bounties and memebers of this forum don't lose much going by that action. By the way, the ban is a good thing that should checkmate ICOs so as to curb the numerous scams that icos have become.

Bitcoin isn't banned on social media platforms but rather it's Ads that are banned for cryptocurrency as it came to light that a lot of these Ads were being used to carry out scams and a lot of people were falling victim to them so the ban was a move made by the social media companies to protect its users from further scams and to prevent scammers from using their platform to carry out their scams.

bitcoin is not banned in social media even in google. but the ban is aimed at crypto sales ads like ico. yes, what I read from one of the news on the ban.
I think you can follow the signature campaign and make a pretty good post. I checked your profile, I think you like spam just doing reporting social media tasks but not doing the task of making a post, even though you use a signature. you know you have violated the rules

Any links that BITCOIN itself will be banned on social media? I do not know why people are spreading this kind of fake news. Bitcoin is not really banned by any social media sites nor by Google. The only banned crypto currencies on Google and Facebook are ICOs and other "related" to crypto currencies, if you do not know the real news just stop posting or read the whole news about it.

Don't worry! Our right of freedom is still intact and we can talk about cryptocurrency not only on social media but everywhere. Yes, the giant sites have restricted their ad platform for ICO related ads because scammers were using to execute their scam. However, I believe that soon things will get clear and these sites will allow genuine companies to advertise their products.

even if guys like FB etc. are trying to ban things like bitcoin, look at it this way: the banks are scared. too many people now know about bitcoin, blockchain etc. for the concept to ever truly go away, and they're trying to mitigate that as much as they can, and  imho that'll inevitably fail because people want it to succeed way too badly. just keep it alive and keep talkin about it and keep promoting it and someone'll figure out how to usurp the big boys someday

Yes that's true, facebook and twitter was banned cryptocurrency related advertising a few week before. Now I joined with twitter campaign a week before, and on this morning I cannot acces my twitter, I don't know what matters. Now I'm trying to acces my twitter, maybe in this night I can acces my twitter again. If this is because twitter ban cryptocurrency, maybe there's no bounty campaign for social media anymore.

Social media rely heavily on advertisements and most of them are up in arms against crypto currencies and assets . Somehow they are afraid that cryptos might eventually level the playing fields .

Some of the websites are going to stop crypto related advertisements but there is nothing called banning crypto on social media websites. People can still make posts, pages or groups related to crypto and share such information with other people.

I think that many new social channels like Telegram are supported because of so many crypto loving people using it. Crypto is here to stay whether these companies allow crypto advertisements or not as many people have adopted this technology.

Social media banned cryptocurrencies for this reason I know. There are too many scammers that have participated in the rise of digital coins. And the owners of the site were alarmed with the idea that there sites or pages are used for such a criminal act. Too many have been scammed. I think we need to solve scams first.

well, although there has been news that social media has banned advertising crypto, but honestly crypto is still very easy to find. I even saw some crypto ads on facebook a few days ago. but I do not know, it's probably just a trading ad. at least it's related.

Not yet fully implemented, I still see some Facebook groups having advertised with their own respective coins without even receiving any likes or comment making it look like just a spam or a bot to Facebook. Maybe this is also the reason why Facebook planned it in the first place. If such coins could receive an appropriate attention then I don't think Facebook would really plan to ban it. It could either be just a waste of space in the network or it could be because of bots making accounts then posting those garbage offers in investments.

Well, we can't fully confirmed about banning of crypto in the social media. Some would say that only ICO ads that are being banned but I still see some of my friends sharing about crypto ads. So, I think this is just another form of FUDs that could somehow destroying the crypto world. Also, we can't really guarantee about some ICOs are not legit because some of them are just scamming people.

Banning cryptos in social media was heard months ago. Some members are complaining that their work are being blocked by it. Some are fidgeting about it. I don't really know how and when it was started but I think that social media especially facebook are trying to banned crypto ads because they look at them as their competitors and in the near future they are planning to put up their own crypto so they are taking down slowly their competitors. Just an out of the blue wild guess.

Its true but it was made for ads that promoting through twitter and fb which means they wont be accepting new paying ads about crypto. Sharing and retweeting something didn't get banned because its user's right and although they ban cryptocurrencies ads, the main idea was to decrease scam ICOs and also filtering spamming new coin ads everyday while bitcoin didn't even need advertising from the beginning because these kind of news is already a free publication.  ;D ;D

Bitcoin and other cryptos ads haven't been really "banned" from social media such as Facebook , twitter and google ads . What have been banned is ads to push ICOs since such companies policies don't agree with promoting for investment since all of that can turn up bad for their customers and can therefore engender problems for the platform that promoted for such fake/loosing projects .
But you still can use such social media for campaigns through your posts and shares on the groups/pages and these platforms won't mind that .
So they are just banning the payed ads that appears on the sides of the pages or randomly in the news feed , but whatever is shared by real people / page owners won't be affected by such decisions .

Well, some social media does not want an advertising stuffs or some things that would be endorse freely or without having their consent. Since bitcoin is decentralized means there are no people controlling it or managing it to keep it running then it would simply means that advertising bitcoin is free and social media platforms does not want it may be they don't get even have a benefit it endorsing it.

As far as a know bitcoin is still exist in social media which you will see any advertising ad that will pop up on your screen taking about the different ICO projects or any related all about crypto currency. Well, as a matter in fact to be banned in different sites is not easy at all which on my own perception because many ICO paid the different ad on the social media as well as the different bounty campaigns like facebook and Twitter which is the most visited sites throughout the cyberworld since as of this moment crypto related is still exists.

the news about banning crypto ads on social media is true, but I know it's for paid advertisements as other people explain, because I know facebook has banned crypto ads from January but until now there are still crypto ads. and I think banning ads on social media to filter out crypto cheating.
so while advertising without paying I do not think it will be banned by social media.

Bitcoin is not banned in social media. The things that got banned are ICO Ads and they were banned because most of these Ads were being used to scam unsuspecting users who were willing to get in the market but didn't know how to go about it, if we are being honest with ourselves, the Ads ban did more good than harm to the market because those scams were not good for the market anyway.

on facebook, the news is true. facebook has blocked crypto ads. now facebook is no new policy, and not just crypto, some youtube promotion on facebook is also now more difficult. they want to avoid unwanted events as it is very easy to access the site and also today almost all levels of society use it. specifically for bitcoin, they think bitcoin is a scam because of the drastic price decline from last December to early 2018.

If you till can participate in the bounty programs who are managed by fairly sensible managers then I am pretty sure the news is not yet fake. Why? Because obviously the ICO's still can promote their content over the social platforms and your manager still can run the bounties that include the social media posting and promoting.

Also, if you must have noticed then you will come to know that you still can visualise the advertisement related to the crypto currencies all over the Facebook, twitter, and off course google ads can be seen on every crypto related websites. So I dont think there is anything official that has been done about it yet.

Facebook is far from being a pioneer in its noble desire to protect unintelligent users from "incorrect" advertising, because it's almost a year since Russian Yandex has been stubbornly fighting the penetration of advertising crypto-currency transactions into the contextual network of Direct. Only Yandex, went further, banning, according to the author's observations, advertising farms, ASIC-miners (specialized devices for the production of crypto-currency) and data centers necessary for their placement.

I think this has long happened already. Haven't you heard about the news that Facebook and Twitter already banned ICO ads? Nevertheless, the last time I know, Twitter has not banned it completely but only those that the site perceives as scams involving faulty advertisements. Anyhow, make no mistake about this. It being banned on social media does not automatically translate to no means of learning on how to earn through it. You can be aggressive and creative at the same time by browsing the net. I, myself, did not resort to social medias to learn about bounty campaigns YET I am here. Do not make the ban an excuse to not earn in Bitcoin. It sure is not an impediment in this day and age.
