Crypto has gained a significant value in recent time. And I have seen some people who have been able to wash out their miserable by trading in crypto.  In this point I believe crypto has the value than can remove poverty from a country. What is your thought?? Have you seen anyone who have been rich by Crypto??

crypto is not a get rich scheme. At least it's not what it is supposed to be. It could surely help to solve poverty issue by providing people with access to money without a need to rely on central banks.

I myself saw some successful people from this crypto, this makes a lot of people become interested in the crypto and wrestle it ...

Having the right knowledge and profit of crypto currencies,we can lessen but we cant totally remove the poverty.Otherwise,we can teach other people and the government gives an initial amount of cryptos to invest in.We can used different medium as tools for teaching.On my opinion,we can lessen or eradicate poverty but we cant remove it.

I think that deal is not in crypto but in person who begin to do something in crypto. Sure crypto is a good instrument for making money but you should have head on your shoulders.

I don't think Crypto can be a good way to eliminate poverty. It's not just a technology to know that Crypto does not bring wealth to everyone. What to do to eliminate poverty is to improve education and build more infrastructure.

Poverty can only removed if people learn how to work on their own feet and stop on depending with the government. Its not the fault of the government if people is so poor a lot of opportunities out there and you must really start working on it. I have no idea that crypto can eliminate poverty. Indeed many people who become rich because of crypto, but actually that makes it rich is effort and hard work, crypto is only one way to achieve success. So, that can change the poverty in a person that is the desire to try and work hard.

since you posted this in an altcoin board the answer is definitely NO. you got it backwards. altcoins will add to poverty specially these days that a lot of hyped up newbies are coming in and dumping all their life savings into shitcoins and then they get  dumped on and lose as much as 90% of their investment and go bankrupt...

I don't really agree with that. Although crypto can be traded for profit, that is not the point of cryptocurrencies and the reason why they were created. If those people were good traders, then they would probably be able to trade anything else, and not just crypto.

Crypto was not even created to remove poverty, or anything like that. Some coins have different purposes, and talking about bitcoin here, BTC was created to work as a decentralized currency, solving a lot of the issues fiat money has.

Of course that those that started gathering bitcoin early are getting rich now if they sell it, but that's the same with any other valuable thing that someone finds before everyone else. I'm sure a lot of people got rich back in the gold rush days because they were able to get it for free, but making them rich was not the purpose of gold. They got rich because they found something valuable.

It is always depend. To free from poverty is an individual choice because we have only an opportunity to get rid from it and opportunity has no ability change the personal choice of a person.

I think if eliminating poverty I think it can not, if reducing poverty, I think it can be done. because for us bitcoin is also easy to use to get a good profit.

Removing Poverty is a whole different game. But I think its possible to reduce poverty not eliminate it, its like a disease that can't be cured but managed. Have I seen anyone who have been rich through crypto? I can't really say he's rich but he surely did earn quite a buck doing bounties and stuff. Although crypto removing the poverty of a country is still impossible. First off, How do you gain money with crypto, specifically doing bounties? You trade your token into fiat, and these tokens are from bounty rewards. And bounty rewards is just a small portion of the project's fund. Project's fund divided by the large amount of people (a country's worth) is equal to less than 1(relatively small number, for your reward). And less reward = less money.

I believe that cryptocurrency is not actually the key, it's the person who involved himself/herself truly and work on it. Cryptocurrency is just another vehicle to be use to get out of poverty. I I'm thankful that this is one of the opportunity that don't requires any educational background or whatever life status. It's open to anyone who is willing to put the work and get the job done.

We see Crypto currency in different way, some see it as a means of getting rich quick, which is totally out of it.
Anyway we have more than a 1000 different altcoins out there, each  with it own promise just to get people to invest in their project. Luckily, some persons get rich from these coins why some get hit really hard.
In either way, the chances of making it through crypto is 50/50.
Above all, one thing I understand is that, Crypto is not a medium/means of getting rich quick And I don't see as a means of eliminating poverty from a country. people makes it through Crypto, but it takes time.

When some are getting richer,more are dropping poorer because of this same perception that crypto is the way to become rich just like that,even without learning how this cryptocurrency works.what they do is just invest expecting to gain much but end up sudden because they choose the wrong moves and decisions.

You must understand that all can not earn. If someone earned, means then someone lost their money. If you trade without knowledge and experience you will not earn much, you will probably lose everything.

I don't understand how crypto and poverty are even linked. People who are really under poverty, don't have access to basic amenities let alone computer, laptop or smartphone. How such people then take benefit of cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies are indeed helping countries like Zimbabwe and Nigeria from fighting against the inflation and giving online business opportunity to such people. But those people aren't under poverty. I would say cryptocurrency helps lower middle class people but not poverty stricken people.

Crypto can easily put people into poverty as well:

1) Not holding your funds securely.

2) Chasing bull runs then watching your funds vanish in a day and a half and selling on the low.

3) Investing more than they can afford to lose and becoming emotionally invested.

I believe in crypto's ability to eradicate people long term stay in poverty. I can even see it as a tool for the less-developed countries to close the gap between them and the advanced ones. More surprises to come actually with crypto.

Removing poverty and someone getting reach is not the same, as much as I know. Cryptocurrency is not the thing which can remove proverty but yeah it can open the door of opportunity. Cause many cryptos comes with some great project and that projects need some people so so many people get jobs.And now think some of them project go to the real word tech company list (Top 10) how much people getting job there. So it cannot remove poverty property but it will help people. And yeah I saw people getting reach with crypto a 22 year boy can afford a BMW in India. That much rich.

It still depends on the people how they will make it happen, the people in a government needs to see how it can effectively help the country to a more better financial system as well as in terms of having a clear and honest governance in a way that they will use blockchain. The poverty of whole countries is a problem, I believe, an inequality in our global economy. And I believe that this is a consistent and deliberate policy of the more developed countries in relation to poorer countries. Because less developed poor countries allow the creation of the necessary cheap human labor and a necessary market for more developed countries.

If we analyze the status of crypyocurrency, it is likely or more likely a superior weapon to remove poverty in the world, however in needs a balancing system in order to avoid any personal interest by manipulation to a single person only. We can see the situations sometimes that the status of cryptocurrency business are not for the purpose of whole community people but for the single person that has the power to control on which the returns are only for the person who have the power to manipulate. Nope. I don't believe that crypto alone will be able to eradicate poverty completely. It may help people to have extra income but the income would not be constant because crypto itself is susceptible to changes. Also, being rich through crypto is a case to case basis. Some people aren't fortunate enough on what coins they choose to invest and it is extremely difficult to select a good coin. It takes a good strategy and skill.

Well you might be right however this still depends on the user itself, you have to work hard and use crypto as a tool to reach your goal. I agreed. Crypto can decrease the percentage of poverty because it provides opportunities. Such as Earning money from home, students can earn, you don't need to have a diploma to get a job in crypto, people who have disabilities can earn as well and no descrimination.

I have some friends who support their family just by trading crypto, most of them get a big fortune from crypto. Even crypto gives me such great benefits, to be honest I am a person who has nothing. If you ask me, look towards those who are living in poverty and developing countries, where they do not have access to financial institutions. Its true that crypocurrency has make a lot of independent and remove their poverty. It helps a lot of people financially who was in need of money.Thats why it has a positive impact to lot of people. Well I believe in your statement because I have myself helped my family with the help of crypto currency. I have earned more than what my job has to offer to me and I always like it that way. There was time when I had no opportunity to save my money and even whatever I earned from the real job was just enough to sustain my family. I had no savings back then but now I am earning everything in such way that I get 50% of crypto portion saved up straight into my bank account. I never though that I will get such big help from the virtual world of crypto.

I don't know how exactly should I interpret your post, but there are 2 ways crypto get people rich:

- By trading and investing in a technology that is taking its first steps and belongs to the new century.
- By resisting the control of banks and institutions over people and their belongings. We all know what they have done, holding the "anti-terrorist" creed in their hands!

I don’t know anyone directly, but I have seen some who can influence people to invest on cryptocurrency. In order to eliminate the poverty from the countries, at first the technology should be available to them. Then they can invest to earn money.

I think that it is possible. Through real direction about crypto and resources for work it, I genuinely do assume that desperation would diminish. I honestly disagree with your statement regarding cryptocurrency being the ultimate “savior” against poverty. I know that we are here to help change people’s lives, but cryptocurrency is not the best way because it cannot give us a stable income due to its unpredictability.

Entrepreneurship is still the king. If I were you, at least put some of your profits in cryptocurrency to fund your business until it can make you generate a passive and residual income that would possibly help those in need.

Aa long as there are people who are not educated enough to fight for their rights along with people who abuse and take advantagel to the said people the poverty will still be an issue. It is true that crypto has huge potential to give jobs to masses however this only applies to people who has the means and knowledge to understand and learn crypto. 

I say not rich but they gain a huge amount of money from doing crypto. Crypto is a great opportunity to all people to earn money. Anyone with the capability of joining and understanding crypto can earn atleast a decent amount of money from it enough to buy you things that you need. I think cryptocurrency can help the world to remove poverty, but the question of the time keeps alive. There always were a lot of people. Our governments are just trying to solve the cancer problem, rather helping poor people.

I think cryptocurrency can definitely provide people with an opportunity to potentially get out of poverty or at least improve their lives. Although I worry that if it ever becomes mainstream like FIAT money, wouldn't we then have the same problems we have now? As everything will have a value and a price. Venezuela is a great example though of how crypto has helped people survive in a society that is collapsing economically.

Poverty is everywhere. There are always poor people in every country that we live in and we can't do anything about it since some of these guys chose to be in that position. I may be born poor because my parents are poor but it would be my fault if I'd die poor so right now I'm working my ass off and trying to invest in crypto as much as I can to have more profit in the future and save those for my family and my retirement.

no, not like what you say. poverty is the problem of a nation and a state that is responsible for it. some people get rich on the investments they make in the crypto industry and that's perfectly natural. there are many and varied benefits that you can get. but the problem is, knowledge, experience, education and capital become unity in engagement in the crypto industry.

I feel it is even important that anyone who is investing in cryptocurrency should at least be able to learn some pretty good ways they can at least trade so as to be able to get the best from the market.

It does not really have to be day trading, or short term, it may still be a very long term trading with just the purpose of following trend to at least take advantage of the fluctuations to own more position. We should not think this crypto thing is always a story with a happy ending. Many people have been wrecked by this same cryptocurrency as finances have gone done the drains. That is slightly an overstatement at the moment because a major portion of the population (in my country) are illiterate. They lack the basic ability to read/write which is an essential criteria to be a part of the Crypto community. But it does have the potential to change many lives. Many people who do not have a job will consider this to be a great opportunity for them. The Crypto world just needs to be recognized on a larger scale.

A pretty risky investment and it takes being careful and investing wisely to be able to enjoy the benefit in the long run. First and foremost, a lot of people and most especially newbies need to understand that cryptocurrency is not a get rich quick scheme and those who are getting the wrong idea are the ones making huge mistake at the end and panicking easily once the market drops badly.

It should be more of a long term investment and due to its volatility, people should learn to invest wisely as it is one thing to want to remove poverty and it is another thing to add to it.

Crypto Currency is a big help to remove poverty if the people itself work for it. Cryptocurrency is not a free money you must work for it, I read a certain qoute, "if you born poor it's not your fault but if you die poor then it's your fault". Truely crypto currency has the ability to remove poverty but you must work for it.

No. It doesn't work that way.
Money makes more money, If you're poor you'll stay poor because you don't have the money to invest. Every cent matters when you have a few $ in your pocket. If you invest them it'll be a too great of a risk but if you don't invest you can't make a profit.
Rich dudes, and those of us that aren't rich but we're not poor also, can invest their money without jeopardizing their basic needs.
Crypto is very volatile and risky and it's not poor-friendly.
BTC had/have a great idea about decentralization but in the end big money and whales control the money flow.

Crypt is the technology of the future, so I think that if you just decide to trade or not, then I'm sure that you should. Because this is something that can bring you money

cryptocurrency give a new way for people to make money with doing many ways related with cryptocurrency. we can be the investor, trader, holder, or even for just take a look what is happening in the market. maybe cryptocurrency have the ability to remove poverty but it depends on that person and if he can work in many ways, then I am sure that he has a chance to make money from cryptocurrency.

At some point it does make sense, but just imagine how many are there who are so poor and how can it be solved just by cryptocurrency. It can help, but not solve.

Crypto definitely could help people make money from it. Not just in trading world, but like this forum that offer many bounties to join. People that have difficulties to join any job in the real world could try to join in this crypto world. Definitely help for much people that jobless.

Bitcoin and crypto currency in general has the power to reduce poverty in the society only if the people are ready to invest their money and time in Bitcoin and altcoins in general because that is only then they can be liberated from poverty.

I think crypto and poverty can't be linked . Poverty is a problem of nation and a state.that is responsible for it .There are many benefits that you can get from crypto . but the
problem is Knowledge , experience, education and capital are required in crypto industry .People who are under poverty does not have access to basic eminities like computers , laptop,or smartphone . I would say crypto currency helps lower middle class people and not the ones who are under poverty .

How can a poor person invest in anything when that person's only thought is how to make enough money to feed it's family?

I strongly agree with you that cryptocurrency has the ability to remove poverty. This is already happening in some countries that have embraced cryptocurrency and encouraged their citizens to participate. I believe cryptocurrency is a safe digital currency business that  can make someone who is nothing to become something. I know of a friend who couldn't afford three square meals before, but today through his participation in cryptocurrency , he has gotten landed property  and even sponsoring his siblings to school through his profits from crypto . Cryptocurrency changed the poverty story of his life.

I agree with you op. It is completely possible for cryptocurrencies to eliminate poverty, but the biggest barrier to this happening is the governments themselves since majority of the world governments oppose Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market due to different reasons. Majority of the world governments need to somehow soften their stance on crypto and focus on the advantages of cryptocurrencies rather than focusing on its disadvantages.

maybe i think yes that cryptocurrency has a theability to remove poverty because there are a lot of people who doesn't have a permanent job and unstable in life and i think with the help of crypto they might be change and turn into good life and be stable because i know some people who become successful in life with the help of crypto. thats why i think crypto can change life and reduce poverty.

There are some who got rich through cryptocurrencies. Though they were educated in the first place and were just unable to get a decent job so learning the technicalities and how to earn from it are much easier compared to the majority of people in the poverty line which lacks education. Without a doubt it would be hard for them, that being said, I haven't seen anyone here achieve such feat.
