Is there a particularly reason why all Coins are dropping simultaneously this week? If you look at the charts (https://www.coinranker.net) you will see a pattern

Because Bitcoin is dropping. All altcoins are following the Bitcoin. The crypto market does not look good.

One reason is the crisis of the whole market and a decrease in capitalization. Of course, everyone believed that it was already over, but as we see everything is getting worse than it was.

I think because the investors have withdrawn capital. They seemed to lack confidence in many altcoins because they did not bring much practical value.
I feel pretty nervous about this, perhaps as the Crypto market is no longer able to recover. It is going to the verge of extinction. I do not know what to do with the pennies I hold, should I sell it or not?

almost all alt has decreased and the current market conditions are very bad. many new people and users are experiencing panic and want to quickly sell their assets.

in my opinion, there are two major reasons, one is FUDs from different group of people and two, is the planned regulation from government. Capitalization is decreasing because market is stagnant for a while.

I think it's because of Bitcoin price also decreased, a lot of alt coins depends on Bitcoin price, if Bitcoin price increase alt coins down, Bitcoin price stable altcoins will increase, Bitcoin price down altcoins will down too. Second reason is probably problem with decreasing capitalizations, unfortunly we still have this problem but i hope it will be temporary and soon will end

I think this is due to the fall in price of bitcoin as it controls the price of most coin in crypto, when the price of bitcoin rises, he price of most altcoin does same and vice versa. It might also be due to the fact that some investors are selling their coin as they cannot stand the loss anymore and then this affect the price of market.

The cryptomarket is impossible to predict at this stage of its development. Even a statement from a famous investor is enought to shake the whole market so you should be very careful with your investments because right now the whole market is a part of a lot bigger picture and we all are just observers hoping to make a decent profit out of it. You should invest only in stable projects with strong fundamentals which can survive the following years.

All the coins are down not only altcoins because Bitcoin is dump in the market so similarly some potential altcoins are down but some cheap altcoins are going rapidly in the market. I think most of the Bitcoins are sell in simultaneously so many altcoins are down in the market. I hope again everything will be normal in next month.

Nearly all the price of crypto coins depends on the condition of the Bitcoin market, although I see in some markets like Binance, Bittrex, there are some coins that are not affected by the situation and having increasing price recently, but generally when the Bitcoin market falls, major altcoins like Eth, Xrp, Ltc, etc, experience the fall too.

I think Altcoin is crying more than Bitcoin, I think crazy is an understatement IMO, no real explanation Ethereum has dropped 8% in 24hours, what I would like to ask is if there is any study on the movement of tokens from most of these developers, do not forget they hold significant number of these tokens that could move the price when sold on the market, because for me someone with huge influence must be crashing the price

All answers are expected to blame bitcoin so the alts are also dropping like there's no end of it.

I think altcoins are dropping like crazy because of bitcoin price. I think BTC's price is heavily manipulated by the whales since they want us to lose hope and sell our tokens for cheap then they will pump later since bitcoin market cap is only 130 billion USD and by manipulating Bitcoin price they can crash the whole crypto market including a lot of altcoins. I think the best way to earn money in this kind of market is to HODL and believe in the tech. ;D

When Bitcoin is falling automatically most of alt coins will follow. Why? Simply most of alt coins are traded against BTC that valued with USD. You should keep watching the chart to see where price will go. If Bitcoin is traded under $7000 probably it would be the beginning to hit the edge. The good news is, that zone is good signal to buyback. Things will be fruitful in December.

I hate to say this but Altcoins are dropping almost 20% last week because of the Bitcoin. I think the biggest reason why Altcoins price drop is because of Bitcoin.
If we want Altcoins to be stable and slowly rising again, then we need to wait until Bitcoin stabilized.
But with the current market situation, thing will be so hard for Bitcoin to recover.

Bitcoin and Ethereum seems to recover today. The bottom price for bitcoin is $7100 but it looks like it going at $7500 today, while Ethereum is trying to get to $600 range. I think that because most of the altcoins are tied to the top 5 coins, and if you pay attention to the charts, most often they repeat the bitcoin chart with a little delay. I think the only reason is that the Crypto market is being manipulated vigorously. The sharks have come up with a strategy that makes the traders nervous and depressed. Some traders have left the Crypto market because Bitcoin prices have fallen too far.

Usually the quarter 1 is bearish followed by a bullish quarter 2. This time where quarter 1 was extremely bearish. Quarter 2 was the mixture of bearish and bullish trend. But bull wasn't able to take over the market yet successfully. There is no new money entering the BTC market as happened in December last year. This explains the bloodshed of BTC and alts alike as alts tend to follow BTC in price movement. I don't see market recovering any time sooner.

So many things and factors that can affect bitcoin prices but we don't which exactly is making the drop now. As far as I know, the market prices of altcoins might be be affected by the drop in bitcoin price. There are bad news circulating about bitcoin investments becoming scam and this could be the main reason. Going by some good traders I follow, this correction should be ending in next month or two at most. Last year also the big strong started in July only so it could repeat in 2018.

This condition occurs due to more number of sellers than the number of buyers, but other than that there are strict regulations from some countries that certainly narrow the 'Space Motion' crypto country, such as China and Korea. Personally i think we are just at the start of the bottom. I don't think we should compare this correction with the ones over the last few months, as a major trendline has just been broken at 6.8k, this trendline went all the way back to 2.5-2.8k. and now the next one starts at 700-1000$ and goes to 5.5-5.8k, which is going to be extremely dangerous levels if they break.

Honestly, people sell at the time when they have the best reason to hodl on their coins.  :) I am really curious about those panic sellers, we know that they sell even at very low prices and I wonder if they regret about it or was there any "regret" when they sell. Trading is very complicated compare to hodling and sometimes the most profitable coins are sold for petty amounts when its price should be very high. Panic selling are profitable to investors but how are we going to make a coin grows like bitcoin and ethereum if we let its price go down very low.

Whenever there is a major price drop, the fall in value of altcoins will be very big. This is possible to be retained only when the price of bitcoin as well the head of altcoins increase. One of my holdings have gone as low as $0.006 from the value around $0.1 months back. I don't know what is gonna happen further, such drop gets recovered or not. Just with the hope having patience to experience a good pumping.

Bitcoin is the ruler and if bitcoin is dropping huge then how altcoin can survive , with every dip of bitcoin altcoin dip at more speed than bitcoin . today if bitcoin crashed and come back to 2000 dollar then most of altcoins will die and only few will survive . altcoins also need the bull run or stability of bitcoin to rise in value .

well in my site seeing after all the value comes out right now like too depth and hard for holders to see this value too small but to think that the value would be based the demand on the market and many investors would like to have it. so if alt would go down like bitcoin then it we could say that developer of that project getting too hard to develop as of now that most currently known is btc and ethereum and its low tide.

Regulations, still regulations are the biggest problem in crypto market. We can not do anything, instead of worrying, we should exploit it. Altcoins are cheap now so it is good moment to buy more to increase profit from them when they start growing.

There are no special reasons. They are generally caused by panic sales, hacking, trading platforms being punished by government sanctions, etc. Many investors have started to worry about the market and chose to sell cryptocurrencies. Of course, this is not to rule out the possibility of whale manipulation!

Not only altcoin :). Whole crypto market is falling the same although Bitcoin is the king of crypto world is also falling and BTC price at the moment is under $6k :). Yes early buyer or investor in the year 2017 won't loose their investment and crypto currency is not going to end, it just there are some certain things that need to be put in place so that the bad coins and token can give way for the good one.

been a rough few months not going to lie nice to see a bit of a bounce the past week hopefully we can keep the uptrend.

Now market is on recovery mode and if seen in last couple of days some of the coins have moved by by 10 - 20% easily. As those coins value are very low so even a small movement leads to big change in percentage terms. So if you require some profits now you can invest in various coins and in few months can double your investment hopefully.

i guess this is because of the Bitcoin and ethereum dominance which is now very low, when this two recover i believe the whole market will be moving up too. It's just now the market is so bearish which i see one or two coins only in green in the first page of Coin Market Cap. I think before august this will be another pump for Bitcoin. Let's just wait and hope that those previous regulations will be a very good help in order for the whole market to recover.
