Yes, same with last year. The market bullish around November till early December and it slowly bearish during the holiday season. Then pump up again by January. I am holding my coins now till the market recover.

I don't think that would be the case as December is the start of the bearish trend. To pacify that, the bullish market should start from as early as August. The current sideways growth of market too suggest there's going to be a sharp change soon.

I also have an altcoin that I invested last time, its price is now lower than I buy it, so it would be better to hold it in times like this when the market is full of red.

I give little chances prices will be higher in November then now. I do believe June will be bullish month, but we are still in bigger Bear market trend that started in December 2017 and will end way in 2019.  But inside this big bearish trend there will be small periods of bullish trends.

I read statistics today. Bitcoin didn't overcome any maximum in value since December 19, 2017. Based on this, we have a rather long regression period. I don't think that we will have to wait another six months.
But the higher the maximum bitcoin, the greater the correlation wave.

To be serious, the best I can offer is stop waiting for a bull run. Just enjoy this moment, there are so many ICOs giving x5-x10, you can find at least one of them almost every week. And you are still a hodlman, right? Give up on hodling, your money should work for you, so invest in good projects instead of waiting for whales to make you rich (that's the last thing they're going to do, tbh), take your time.

I won't say that we are in the bear market again, because we have been in this situation since the start of the year. The gains we got is from manipulators who artificially pumps it and then dumps to take home the profits.

But.I would agree that we really need to be to be patience because our portfolio suddenly decreases again. 1º Consider that cryptomarket will follow the same exact trend as last year, is........being a little ignorant.

2º Last year there was growth BECAUSE THERE WAS DEMAND. Nowadays, there is no demand, and quite the contrary, many countrys are looking after exchanges because there are a HUGE amount of false orders that would try to manipulate the market. This is being investigated at the moment.

3º Today ETH is losing 6%. considering the price 7 days ago , it has lost almost 4%. it's 61% down from max value in January 2018. Considering the value of ETH 30 days ago, it's down by 23%.

4º As time passes by, the barriers for bulls are lower and lower. First there was a barrier of 800$ (6th May 2018) which ETH could not hold for long (just about 4 days i remember). Now it can only hold 600$ but it will not go higher than that and today, cannot keep it.

5º a huge amount of countrys are trying to regulate cryptos, and one thing among them is clear: Those regulations are NOT FRIENDLY WITH CRYPTO. End of Anonimity, Taxes, regulations, controls and legislations are NOT A GOOD THING FOR CRYPTO. In fact, crypto is a way of money loundering, drugs and fireguns market, tax evasion. The moment regulations appeared, almost 60% of the total market cap disappeared. This is A FACT. People don't want to accept it, but it is as it is.

6º Technical analysis shows that we have entered a bear trend right now, and that there is no clue of where it will stop losing value. For those of you who read this, and you are holding ETH, i´ll give you a technical analysis right now. It is possible that ETH goes to 540$ today. A friend of mine, trader, has told me a few minutes ago that at that level automated stop-losses will jump. If this occurs, we can slide to an unknown value.

7º Please, stop lying and telling people to hold. The argument to hold is to BELIEVE that it will recover. What if that doesn't occur?? it's very funny for me to see a vast amount of comments saying: well, i said this, i f.up my guess, but hey, just wait 3,4 or 5 months till the bull run. WTF are you talking about?? If you cannot predict what will happen tomorrow, how are you going to predict a bull run in 5 months??

8º another thing to consider is network hashrate. At weekends many entreprises and companys leave their computers working. It just doesn't make sense that at weekends we see almost all around an increase in hashrate. ETH from yesterday to today has seen an increase of more than 8.000GH/s. That's a brutal increase from nowhere. This situation is harder for miners, since they have to care about electricity bill, and the combination of more hashrate and less value is a explosive combination.

9º a lot of important investors, and people related to trading, are continuosly reducing the price expected for BTC. Some of them, have reduced from 40.000$ to no more than 12.000$ and with negative expectations for the future.

Will there be a bull run?? i don't know. What i know for a fact is that there will be bear trend for long and that investors are leaving crypto because there is no stability, huge volatility, agressive trading, and intra-day selling. The best thing i can tell you, is to invest only the money YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE.

You may be right. I was hoping that we would see a recovery this year, but it may not even begin until the end of the year or next year. The price of Bitcoin may not get back to its previous all time highs for 2 years from the crash. That would be more consistent with the crash we saw back in late 2013 and early 2014. We just need to be patient.

So many speculations were being bade in the starting of summer that bitcoin and other altcoins are going to be great again .

Yes that is for sure! We have seen last year that the values of coins goes down and low but we also saw that the value of these coins goes up and get higher again when BER-months is approaching so just trust and believe that It will also goes up and get its highest value for this year.

a "small bull market" doesn't even mean anything because there was never a bull market to be small or big. the only thing that existed was a tiny recovery after a long and big dump. think of it as a small breath that the market has to take before continuing down its path.
this "small bull market" that OP sees is also referred to commonly as a "dead cat bounce" and that is what happened here. dead cats being altcoins, bounced a little before continuing their deaths and decay.

Now the market is shaking so well. Any negative news affects the redness of the market, and positive, something is missing, and those that appear - do not significantly affect the market. I hope that soon all the good news will supersede the negative news and everything will be fine....

This bearish market is very real and I think that November and December should be our hope. The only people that are going to makes money from this market are those that are ready to hold and not selling out of panic.  There is a lot of campaign going on and we are to be courageous in other to be able to make good profits from this market.

most of the time these bitcoiners hold their coins, the problem is the price is down, so if we sell the coin we have then we will lose. if we do have more money certainly will be many friends who bought coins to be saved back.

I am 97% down since January, I don't have much of a bag left to hodl and if this bag completely dies then I will probably die as a crypto enthusiast with it. Without other means of survival, if I lose everything here I will have to leave the country with my Husband and look for some crappy cleaning job or something. I give myself another six months of hodling and trying to survive but if the bear market outlasts my living reserves then I can't do anything anymore in this sector. If the sharks and whales are so ruthless as to kick all the small fish out that have tried to spread the word about crypto to everyone and who advocate it to the world, then that's bad on them, that's all I have to say.

don't expect great, it's just a guide only and is not really going to happen. just hoping the market will recover quickly without having to wait for November. At the current market situation, except HOLD nothing can be good option. Market seems to move down some more time. So no activity would be highly recommended. Market will turn back, may be not today but some other day. If you want to earn through working hard, ICOs or bounty program would be a great option for investment.

Currently, there was a huge bearish market drop in most of the crytocurrencies including bitcoin and it has been a long time that the market is on dip. btc plus LN will end 99% of alts reason to exist sadly that includes most in the top 20 too.... there are a few specialised alts that solve none of btc issues if it were to be used without LN but they have specialised in certain use cases so even if these were to be worked on by teams that would use btc it will take a while

As a exmaple in the November month I was holding about 5lakh digibyte coin and I did trade with my digibyte coin , so after that I made a simple descion that I will sell these 8lakh dgb coin ( after trade ) at small increase in price but unfortunately after 2 days gap the price get down by 40% , and I get into frustration and sold my whole digibyte coins but after 4 months the price of the dgb coins rises to 200% + that was really a weeping moment for me .
So right now we should hold our assets instead to take tension in the future and also here we not take any coin in consideration that its price will get down much , because every coin have potential to grow at very high price .

It's very long, I think that growth will begin by the end of summer or early autumn. Bitcoin should rise in price by 2-3 times.

it seems that currently the price of bitcoin has not gone back down again and better if you want to buy bitcoin again then this is the most appropriate moment to buy as much bitcoin as you can after that you wait until the price recovered again.

I think Bitcoin now is the safest because you can still quickly trade it for altcoins if you see the beginning of a new bull market and alt season but i can't go much much lower and it can pump really quick. You can't say for sure that november will be the month that the bear market ends. Fact remains that the bear market could even end before then or even continue long after november. There is no way that you can predict what will happen in a couple of months. Mostly the only thing that we can all do is to wait for the market to recover in its own tim.
