I have been monitoring so many post about HODL! HODL!! HODL!!! I am a victim of that but I have sat down and analyzed something. We should all know what will happen when we all decide to HODL. This will be one of the deadliest that will ever happen in cryptocurrencies. When we all decide to HODL I think the markets will go down and the green markets we want will never com. Also BTC will die when we all decide to HODL. I think we can at the same time SELL and BUY to keep our greatest cryptocurrency alive. I stand to be corrected and also we can add some to it as to what will happen.  

This is very true and I think we have to sell and also buy at the same time to keep btc alive. Always we want to HODL but dont want to sell until it moons.

Buyers stop at a price. Will you buy 1 kilo tomatoes for $25 or 1 dozen eggs for $10 ??

Best example is Amby Valley of Indian billionaire Subroto Roy where he said market value is $6 billion. But buyers are not paying more than $2 billion.

I think in a way, yes, that may be correct.
Though if a huge part of users will hold, it will reduce the supply overall - bitcoin depends on the demand/supply concept so we can say that it will increase the value.
But of course, buying and demand is as important as well as it keeps the balance. I cannot imagine other people apart from those who hodl their coins not buying coins, they will as the interest for cryptocurrency with newer users will always be there.

This will make the market very low to me. So the best thing should be sell and buy at the same time so that there will be a nice balance on the market.

It's the opposite of what you say. If everyone really did hold their BTC rather than sell and the demand stayed the same, then naturally the price would go up as supply would be lower. Simple economics.

first of all that will never happen because market is not just 3 person that you want to convince not to sell or hold. it is millions of people each doing a different thing so there will always be some people who are selling, some who are buying and some who are holding to sell a long time in the future.

also HODL doesn't apply to everything! you hold something that is worth holding meaning bitcoin. it is obvious that when you hold any shit....coin that you can get your hands on you will become a victim!

If no one will sell their holdings or crypto? THen all of the crypto in the market will always be green and will have always a good market price increase but as we all know that it could never be happen because there are day traders out there who are always dumping their btc and aside from that there are hug whales that could manipulate market price due to their financial capability that could the way bitcoin market price.

Please think whether it is possible to drive millions of people in the same direction.  It is nearly impossible dear.  In a family if there are 6-7 members even their views are not common and we are talking everybody hodling.  Many investors may have emergency needs and forced to sell.  Some others fearing further downfall may sell.  So complete holding not possible

Thats right, its not just depends on some people, it depends on us all crypto users. We human have different point of views, we dont have the same thinking. So your conclusion is not going to happen, because its impossible. We are not just holding anything, we need to hold the more profitable coins like bitcoin, because we know that bitcoin will increase again, no matter what happens, its just that we dont know when.

If every HODLER HODLS, then the only thing that will change the value is demand. If what you are HODLING has an appeal to create demand, people will gradually ask to buy at a higher price, until one of the HODLERS decides to sell.

One of the strongest markets in crypto is privacy. If you know that the highest ATH achieved by a privacy coin, you can tell that the privacy market has serious demand. Soon, when regulations are enforced and the public is fed up with it, they'll switch to privacy cryptos and decentralized exchanges to have their freedom... let's see if you can put a price to buy that.

You are slightly wrong, HOLD Can make the market stable and if the market stable then the price will go up. Almost millions of people in crypto, All will not HOLD everything right? You can't convince them to hold for a long time. Everyone has come to this platform to earn money. So, Most of the people would sell their coin to make cash money. And What does HODL Means? Hodl doesn't mean to keep all of your coins. You live your life normally when you need money sell your crypto coin and when you don't need then Keep them HODL or do the trade. You also can hold 40% of your coin for a long time to make good profits or as a savings money. The best thing is Trade. Buy And Sell coins can increase the market value.

If we all HODL, it can actually go either way. But most likely the price will increase since there will be no people selling for others who wants to buy. So basically, as long as the demand is there, buyers will increase their offer so that HODLers will most likely sell their coins. If there is no demand, then there is no point in selling since no one is buying.

It is a question but not all sell when many sell too many are waiting to buy so I say that nuncqa will happen that phenomenon and if they sell all is because there are many people willing to buy and there is more market still expanding by new hands would go in and also great aprobecharian whales, you do not have to be like the oars, you have to be sharks, and those who want to sell their bitcoin cheaply

   Buy and sell is the trend in the market. That's why market because there is an exchange process from one to another to make it balance. Market will become imbalance if there is only seller but has no buyer.

This scenario wouldn't be good to investors, the market works by buying and selling so if everyone HODL it will defect the aim of crypto/Bitcoin.  Although HODL increases the value of the coin but if it turns out to be a continuous act that no one sell then is a bad one.

This rotation will only make a stable price can be called saturated then there will be no increase when doing like that with most people, of course people are not wrong if reminded to keep holding it until the next few years the price will automatically increase with less supply, the purpose is controlled so that prices rise soaring, and turn out people generate profits with their own style, just like you too.

This phenomena has to work and its very true looking at the nature of the market. When both sell and HODL that will really help build the market up and thats what I think

if that happens I'm sure there will be a very surprising change from bitcoin market price. exchange rate will increase sharply and bitcoin will be more difficult to owned. like that my opinion if its having bitcoin not sell but all hodl

this is absolutely not about hodling. Crypto is meant to be spent, at least bitcoin is. It's useless if it's not transacted. When it comes to hodling, it's better than selling it, it wouldn't kill the coin for sure

It is hard for that to happen anyway. We say we should hodl because doing so will increase the demand and hence a rise in value.

Which you read is not up to 1% bitcoin users. and maybe half of it talks about hodl, but also many who continue to sell to buy in the lower. that's normal in a market. do your own analysis. and realistic to the market may help you keep getting more coins. but if you prefer to wait at a certain price or hold for long term is also not a wrong thing. just good luck with your health and your finances.

How can Bitcoin go down and die if we hodl? I don't understand. Market activity is not the cause, it's rather the effect. I think I know where you got it wrong. One indicator of dead coin you often see in altcoins is the coin has a low volume market. That is the effect, not the cause. The life of a coin doesn't depend on trading, it depends on its fundamental development.

I think this is what is called reality check, we need people to buy and sell coins for the market to grow and if everybody decide to hold there will be no activity and it might be detrimental to the market.

short term price will increase and then every hodler will sell and price crashes. kinda what we had here until december drop that started a mass selling event. now we are a bit in the doldrums.

HODL mostly applies to bitcoins or the TOP coins but not to whole cryptocurrencies thats why this is impossible to happen,and besides millions of people are involved here not just a small team that cam be one stand

And besides even if we hold bitcoins for sure we will sell shitcoins so the market wil still circulate and this enough until the crypto finally adapted by the world

I haven't thought about this but I think that the price of btc depends on the demand, if nobody sells and buys, then the price won't be that high. I think that btc will increase soon but it will never be very high without the demand like today

If everybody holds their Bitcoin, the price absolutely goes up. If no one sells, the demand for it increases and as the demand increases, the price goes up because of the small bid. But of course there is no point in holding it if there is no demand.

When many people , the price of the coins is bound to increase because they will be demand and no supply.  So people that really need the tokens will be force to set high price ...

The crypto community operates under the principle of supply and demand. When people are selling their cryptos, they increase supply. This will create some kind of imbalance between the supply rate and demand rate vice versa. Such imbalance can affect the value of crypto positively or negatively.   

Holding cryptocurrency was one of the risky decision and those people who patiently holding and waiting the value will increase and that's was risky and no assurance that they earning. Yes i am one of those who hold the bitcoin and i lose but i think that is ok because bitcoin trading was to risky and i understand because as i said crytoworld was risky so now again im holding bitcoin and patiently waiting and holding bitcoin for the future rising.

This will really be quite an interesting scenario as the price will just continue to be on the rise as a result of severe scarcity, but it is not necessarily the good thing we want as there will be an imbalance in the market. For a market to be balance, there has to be both buying and selling. So, HODL, HODL, HODL alone is not a good idea.

For me hodl is very good in the market cause it will make the demand increase and so the price but there should also be selling of bitcoin so there will still be balance in the market.

The best way for crypto to stay alive and grow is when there are a lot of transaction volume, its true that we need constant demand and supply to make the price grow bigger, but in bear market we can't expect people will buy, so rather than there will be a panic sell, we suggest to hodl, hodl in bear market wil prevent more dropping, that's the purposed of people asking to hodl

If the users and the whales do these, that will be a bad thing. The price of Bitcoin will continue to rise, not because there are a lot of people buying but also because there is no other way to get it other than buying and earning. The supply will continue to fall down, not because it is disappearing but because the users are not using it and the supply is not circulating in the market. the law supply states that if the supply is lower, the price is higher, if HODL continues the price goes higher as the demand for Bitcoin became higher and higher trough time. But that will not happen forever since there is a certain supply of Bitcoin, also, there will be an imbalance.

I think bitcoin will be pump and pump the price will continue to go high as the supply will get low and it could possible that bitcoin could reach $1,000,000. I choose to hodl bitcoin also i see the future of it that could bring you to rich in the future.

To have a price or value for a commodity, that commodity must be on sale for an interested customer or consumer to agree to or disagree to a set price or value by the owner. Through this the two parties (buyer and seller) then decide a favorable price for the commodity. In your case if we alll decide to hold without selling then bitcoin will become valueless since no one will have the opportunity to exchange cash for it.

This isn't true, there's no way to go both ways if EVERYONE (and yes, we're talking about everyone here) is HODLing. If no one is selling, or just for the reasons of this theory -- if only the NEW coins are being sold, then you're going to see a large spike in prices. As people are going to have to pay higher and higher amounts for these coins as the demand is going to be high for the small amount of coins that are being sold.

I'm also assuming a given that demand is still high for buying as it is right now.

Well in that case bitcoin price will increase if no one sell their bitcoin but hold because their will be a lack of supply so the price will rise.Bitcoin price varies on the demand and supply in the market.

Though it is so impossible that "no one will sell", but just in the case that the scenario is that, the market will probably boost and will pump high because of that. The investors will now then be eager to sell their btc and other coins as well.

I think it still impossible to hold bitcoin for long term, we have daily needs and there are only few merchants that accept bitcoin or cryptocurrency, people will always sell their bitcoin for fiat, if there are many merchants that accept bitcoin then we don't need to trade it for fiat but for goods then we can keep hold it as our bitcoin for long term. And fact that people still afraid about it's volatility, when bitcoin price fall then panic selling will be happen, it's not a bad thing because there will be panic buying as well.

Yes. That may never come if we all JUST hold since it will cause an extremely low (or zero) volume market. That is "deadly"
The best thing we could do is hold 50% of our portfolio and trade (buy/sell) with the other 50%. That will both help us and balance the market.

Now the market of crypto currency is based on supply and demand. A fluctuation in supply or the demand will lead a rise or fall in the prices. Therefore if all the investors holds their coin at the same time, eventually the prices will fall. To keep the demand and supply at a balance everyone should buy and sell coins.

When no one sells and there are more buys than sells the price starts go up, because buyers try to put a higher price because no one wants to sell for the previous one. That is the way that it works, and it has always been like this.

Its really not possible for everyone to HODL at the same time, ther are so many people that into FX and most people are new and the currency they mostly use is bitcoin, now there are people who would want to sell to those set of people.Now another question we should ask ourselves is, if everybody is holding and the price falls down wont that be a bad business transaction?

I agree with those who don't believe it's possible to HODL for everybody at the same time. It's against human nature. Besides, there have been lots of newbies after the last year's shocking growth, so don't panic, keep on hodling!  8)

I agree that everyone electing to HODL is impossible in practice but I don't share the point of view that it would culminate in a flat line in theory, because two scenarios are possible:
 
1. if Hodlers are unwilling to sell, the coin would become scarce and buyers will naturally bid up the price;

2. if Hodlers are willing to sell, but no buyer is willing to buy, that's where there's a problem, if not a threat.

Why are there still people asking this?
It is obvious that the price will go up, i do not understand why there are so many people that are giving bad answers to this, because it is the simple rule of offert/demand.

Currency is for the exchange of goods and services. Why then should you hold yours without giving it out? You can't "eat" your money and get satisfied. If everyone holds it, then there wouldn't be any benefits in crypto and hence no need to invest.

I Think it should be balance between hold and sell. Because if no one sell their crypto's I think the market is very affected. The supply can not be rotated it's all staggered in one places. And if no one will buy also the crypto's will die because there is no use. So again it should be balanced so that the cycle of cryptos in the market will be moved as normal it's vice-versa. Thats the rule of supply and demand.

The market needs to have a flow or a constant flow of transactions in order to keep the coins alive. If everyone holds, it will indeed make the market non active. This will jeopardize the future of the market as well as the coins. But the dilemma comes when the market is in a dip, it's either hold or sell. For that, this is where the strategic thinking comes to place.

I don't think so. when we all hodl, that does not mean we should not sell when the markets are good. To hodl is the right thing to do when there is a crash or crisis or something negative happening to the price of the bitcoin, that way we prevent freefall and hyper inflation of the coin reducing its value on the market.

 That is really true, the best thing to do to give bitcoin the value it deserves is to add value to bitcoin. We can all add value to bitcoin by  using it as a means of exchange for goods and services in our everyday lives. When this is done, there will be no need to worry about who hodl and dump or  price dropping, the price  will just be fairly constant like the usual fiat currency we use.

That's not how it works buddy. Bitcoin especially is scarce and it functions based on the demand and supply. We know that the supply of BTC is limited and this makes it a scarce thing. The demand of BTC keeps rising and falling which directly relates to its price and hence the price goes up and down.
If the demand increases the price will increase whether or not you HODL.  If the demand decreases then the price will fall no matter you HODL or not.

The situation when absolutely all of HOLD - this is unrealistic. Because of this, the exchange rate is unstable. There are always those who sell. In addition, there are large investors who have already invested in crypto. And sooner or later, they will want to profit from it.

If no selling and everyone will hold,i think its not  possible.Because no transaction involve.Selling and holding in crypto is everything.We need to sell when the market is good and to hold if we experiencing a bear market  but still  it  depend to your decision if you want to hold or buy.

That's unlikely, because many of the world's people have bitcoins, and it's very unlikely they'll hold forever. Selling and buying will always be in the market.

This is so true. If we just hold the coins the market will be dead soon. We should sell the coins then we should again buy it in a relative price. Transactions is must needed to keep the market alive.

I think if everyone keeps it, theoretically, the bitcoin price will go up. But it's very hard to implement, all we can do is popularize bitcoin among our friends and social networks.

if everyone held their bitcoin there would be no liquidity for price to move any higher into 'Asks', with that being said there is no reason for the 'Bids' not to creep up on there own.

If everyone hold means you will see the upright movement in the crypto currency's price chart.If they are holding forever means the orice won't decrease ever but it would never happen because people need to see theor coin if someone want to buy it.

I don`t think that if everybody hold the market prices will go down because if no one sells than why the price would go down when no one sells in contrary the price will be stable or high.

If no one sells and investors stay in hold the price will stay stable and the bad ones will be if they sell together once the holders are sure to happen quickly.

Honestly, if this scenario actually happened, and somehow nobody knew that it was an attempt at artificially increasing the value of BTC, then exactly that would probably happen.... It's value would increase. Assuming that trade volume and demand stay the same, that means each BTC unit will increase at a rate equivalent to the reduction in circulating supply. Of course, this is theoretical as such a thing simply could not be coordinated.

You might be looking many post about HODL, but i don't think everyone who investing in BTC would do that, everyone has their own way, i don't think this scenario will apply even in future and if everyone hold their bitcoin market will not go down instead bitcoin will be at a stable price.

I agree with your statement, if in the stock cryptocurrency is not ad movement of the market then the market will go down and could be the price will go down free because there is no buying and selling activities, but if there is any buying and selling activity it will keep the graph on the stock or market cryptocurrency

When their is no one sells but hold it will go up the prices in the market because it will result in lock of supply and increase in demand in the market,  some people do why they hold is due to low of prices and they need the high prices for their coins.

Never will be such that all those who own crypto currency will Hodl their means. As soon as people are given the opportunity to pay everywhere with a crypto currency, they will gladly use it.

When all decide to hold, the market will be green since more people will demanding at a higher price to get few coins available for sale. But miners will continue to do their work and release new mined coins to the market to help circulations.

Yeah, and that is what we call it the scarcity and that what would happen to Bitcoin when people and investors keep on hodling on. If the demand is high and the supply is running out there could be a huge possibility that the price will skyrocket. But how could we do that if we are not whales? I think only those big players can make impacts with the prices but also massive pump and dump is another factor that makes price go up and down.

Its obvious , without supply and high demand . The price will surely skyrocket . Tho this is very unlikely to happen . Unless those big ass whale decide to hodl their bitcoins . This goes with every other coins out there . Law of supply and deman , very simple . Whatever their decision is , we could only sit back and watch the whale manipulate the market . I think with hodl bitcoin will not die, I'm sure with hodl bitcoin will feel rare circulating in the market and allow bitcoin prices will rise

if that happens, that all user was only hold their coins will be difficult for us. but I think it would be a good idea. if we only hold our coins I am sure that the price is rising because the supply will be low and we know if the supply is low the price will be rise. it is in the law of demand and supply. so if the price would rise up it is time to make sell.

Not all of us has capacity to hold for long term, if the demand are low then the price will grow, don't think too much everything will be alright.

Then what's the purpose of having a bitcoin if you're not gonna use it? Bitcoin was made to be used so by just holding it then it will be useless. Hoarding will happen if that concept is going to be embrace. Bitcoin must circulate to be full functional or else it would just be a collection. You must sell it not just hold.

It could create a majot problem and imbalance in the market. You can't succeed in bitcoin by just holding it because you will just turned out to be a collector. You must sell it so that your bitcoin will have its function. Selling it makes you earn a profit so you should go for it. Don't just hold learn to sell.

Yeah. It will stall the movement of btc and in general won't really be good for the market. Though we can't force people not to hodl since many investors really are looking towards the future, it's essential that the supply of btc moves as well.

well i think The crypto network works beneath the rule of free market activity. while people are advancing their cryptos, they increment supply. this could make a couple of type of awkwardness between the supply expense and call for charge the other way around. Such unevenness can affect the estimation of crypto without a doubt or contrarily. but at that point what's the reason for having a bitcoin in case you're not going to utilize it? I got that question in mind too. But in my opinion, Bitcoin's value would probably drop because the market is unbalanced. 

the price would drop because there is no coin circulating in the market because all coins are on the persons personal wallet, it is important that the coin is ciculating in the market for the value of a particular coin.

And when will everyone do the same thing? Never, so why to worry about this question? There are so many different people, and each of us have different plans and wishes, there is no a chance for everyone to hold. When some people hold they are doing a favor to everyone cause there is less coins in circulation.
Some people will hold, some people will use bitcoins for further investing, some will have fun with bitcoins, same like with any other currency, people save in every currency, people spend every currency, bitcoin isn`t different. Don`t worry about this questions and do what your heart tells you to do.

When no one sells token but they are holding ,then the coin market will be scarce of token and coins and will really affect the coin market price value ,because low supply of tokens and coins in the market then the price will soaring high because of low supply of tokens and coins in the market.

You are right, if more demand will have then the price will go up and that is the right time to sell. But if totally no one is selling and all are holding, what will happen in the market?

I don't think that is what going to happen. First of all, probably a majority might decide to HODL but there will be always some people who will look for some sales. If that happens, prices are likely to go high rather than low. Take capitalist for example, when they hold the supply of something, the price is more likely to go high. Same goes for crypto currencies as well.

If everyone start holding and not sell their coins then this market will go to moon as those who want to buy any altcoin,they have to pay whatever price there to buy and there is demand /supply mismatch. Whenever there are more buyers then sellers then market goes to sky.

I think your right on your opinion. The market will stop if all the investors will hodl. But I think this not gonna happen because some of the people don't like hodl things. And many people love trading they always buy and sell crypto and that the main reason that this won't happen.

Everything would depend on demand. It is high demand that push prices higher. Yep that is correct. And if you consider other things being constant including demand, then as per the laws of economics the price of the bitcoin will rise instead of bitcoin dying as the OP says. While in practical situations, nothing of this sort is gonna happen and while you consider HODL as an option there are others who at the same price will continue to raise the demand for the crypto coins and buy more of it. To counter that supply you will also have to take into consideration that there will always be some newbee somewhere in the world who would want to buy into bitcoin , thereby increasing the demand...




You can buy and sell to gain profit for yourself, but lets understand that bitcoin will not rise in value because of your buying or selling.. Bitcoin is a network ! And when do networks become more valuable? When more and more people join the network.. Think for example about a mobile phone. If only one person has a mobile phone in this world, will that phone be valuable ? No... Why? because he cannot call anyone from his phone ! Suddenly if one more person buys phone, now that the value of your phone suddenly increases because now you can make a call to the person who just bought a mobile phone... Increase this number to the number of people on the network (having mobile phone), and you realize that value of the network lies in the number of using deciding to stay on the network (HODLING) !

OP as you see everyone suggest to hold or hodl as you say but why? It's like be a billionare and don't even spend one cent and live like a very poor. Economic needs money to be used widely, invested, spent, sometimes holded, combination of all them. It seems people don't hodl and bitcoin is widely used, just see statistics of bitcoin mixers, for example on bitmixer.io as owner claimed, 1 million bitcoin was mixed yearly. There are 10x more people who don't mix bitcoins. But despite that fact, just save some of them, who knows what will happen in future, just save small amount like you save money for bad days.

Everybody are holding so far, but there were times that some holders need to let go some of their Bitcoin due to some basic needs, and some trades Bitcoins, so there are no 100% chance that all Bitcoin are being hold, some are still circulating.

I was reading to see something like this answer. Pure demand and supply. If demand is more than the supply what will happen to price, price will heighten. If you normally look at trade volume on market and price, when all those available at a certain price is purchased. the higher price trade is available and when buyers have little alternative they go for the high price until it reaches the pick. when all that is available is purchased. Hodlers cant afford to continue hodling because of the attractive price buyers offers. Hodling also has a limit though.

The value of the coin will shoot up like anything as people who are holding will never sell unless they require money as the price is rising and those who want to buy will buy at higher cost too for their purpose or for the reason that they see the future in it.

I think when everything HODL does not sell, bitcoin prices will be corrected according to the laws of the market. Bitcoin prices are created because of the demand and supply. Nothing can affect. Great thoughts up there but i suggest we hodl  cryptocurrencies more than we sell because that is one of the cheapest and easiest way to increase its price. Currently so many people are selling and look at how the market keeps going down. I have a token called ESS and the rate at which this token is falling is very alarming but if people really knew the concept of holding unto their tokens for a while it would not get this bad. :'(

Further, if cryptos follow the rule of this law mentioned above, the resulting price in the market, if people would hodl their investment, would increase than its previous price. Thus, there are many supplies available for sale and competition to get one would be difficult; however, a buyer would maximize to buy even at a higher price because they believe on the value of their investments.

On the other hand, if the quantity demanded is very low then the price itself would be decreasing. If people will hodl their investment, then most probably market price will increase.

I never thought about it, because what I know in bitcoin investing will always be there who sell and there are buy and always have a hold of bitcoin. Holding btc for too long may result eventually on the decrease on its supply. Just like fiat, if theres limited supply of btc, circulating btc in the market will become less. When these happen, trading, signature campaign and other jobs that are paid in btc will be affected. It can result to less transactions or even less job opportunities that gives payment in a form of btc.

When no one sell but hodl there could be a high probability of price inclined. Because low sellers or zero at all would results to a low supply which would be the reason of price hike especially when there is a high demand in the market.

Yes, it is impossible to happen since a small bad news happens a lot of people sell their bitcoin easily so we cannot really tell if all will hold. But if that will happen I think the price will rise high.

I think the answer is pretty simple, if everyone just HODL and nobody trades it, it's dead. The price will become stagnant as the price depends on the market capitalization. And market capitalization is the total sum of funds the cryptocurrency has.

The second thought is correct. Scarcity makes the price go higher but the first thought is not. The coin doesn't really become "scarce". The amount of coins in the world will still be the same. What's scarce is the number of coins in the market/the ones that are up for sale. The volume will be really low and thus the market will be a lot more volatile. Assuming that there will be constant demand for it, the price will go high. On the other hand, bitcoin is not something that's really that in demand when you look at the global scale. Thinking how little is the community of bitcoin users compared to how much people there actually is in the world, when the volume of bitcoin has become really low, people might not buy it and just start using a different coin. People might not care about it, is what I'm saying.

Did you mean to say that you hodl your crypto asset and ended up with far less value than what you were expecting of it?  If that is the case then i understand your frustration.But you have to accept the fact that the economy of crypto will always be volatile. There is no future proofing our assets.

To HODL is actually, in theory, good for the supply/demand economic principle but you are right too, there should be a sense of balance, otherwise things might go zit, zap and bonkers.

I am not sure how many people are positive about this post but I am 100% sure that this is what happens when we HODL. I know this process of investing money is very common in the crypto currencies these days but it is not the best one when 100 out of 100 people starts to claim it. Off course if there is no real use of something then it will die naturally over the specific period of time and thus will get devalued. I guess it happens in the nature also, a theory of selection says that, those part which we dont use much will get eliminated from the body, like a tail we lost!
