WHAT HAPPENS WHEN NO ONE SELLS BUT HODL?

Actually, if there are no sellers, there can't be buyers. And Bitcoin value itself depends or is working over the Elasticity of Both supply and demand. Hence both buying and selling makes transaction complete and generate new coins as well. But I feel, it is much better for demand to be higher than supply hitherto leading to Bullish...

I have been monitoring so many post about HODL! HODL!! HODL!!! I am a victim of that but I have sat down and analyzed something. We should all know what will happen when we all decide to HODL. This will be one of the deadliest that will ever happen in cryptocurrencies. When we all decide to HODL I think the markets will go down and the green markets we want will never com. Also BTC will die when we all decide to HODL. I think we can at the same time SELL and BUY to keep our greatest cryptocurrency alive. I stand to be corrected and also we can add some to it as to what will happen.  

This is certainly true, only this can happen with absolutely any currency, of course, the chances for this with the dollar or the euro are zero, but even in bitcoins, the chances of this are only slightly above zero

If everybody decides to hodl and not sell, it will automatically place a huge demand on the particular token.

When a person sells their bitcoin, they will no longer have the bitcoin to invest in later projects. It may be in the next few years, the price of bitcoin will increase to the highest possible level ever. They will regret selling bitcoin at present.

the situation in the cryiptocurrency market will be better. in the sense that the price will soar. but I'm sure every day there will be people selling and there are also people who keep holding and buying ..

If every HODLER HODLS, then the only thing that will change the value is demand. If what you are HODLING has an appeal to create demand, people will gradually ask to buy at a higher price, until one of the HODLERS decides to sell.

Yes that's right, actually it will be bad if everyone choose to hold, no one want to sell, or buy because if that's the case, then it means the market circulation will stop, there's nothing going on, and it may lead to the market even drop more and died because of the inefficiency.
If we really want the market to go on, then of course we need to do transaction in this market, either buying bitcoin, or selling it, well just let the flow keep going. That way it will steadily be better. But it's kinda hard to do since not many people want to sell when the price is low, but maybe some want to buy more when the price is low because they expect more profits in the future.

The market will have no value if nobody sell and nobody buy. But if nobody sell then many people want to buy, tje price will increase rapidly. The price of that asset will be maybe more than 10x or maybe more. As we know, when the price increase the holder can not be strong holder anymore because they want to sell theirs.

When it will be possible to use it in daily life it will be used as for it was designed, money.

Until that moment arrives people use it just as an investment and hold like a store of value. Some expecting high returns and others as they lost faith in financial system.

I think of everyone holds their coins, there will be no circulating supply of that coin. It's either the coin might became dormant or reach its highest vue. No one knows, it still depends on the project.

When it will happen, it's something that might happen and it won't last long because everyone has different needs.

Very true. If you visit the currency exchange section here in bitcointalk , you will find people selling their crypto for PayPal even in current conditions.

Similarly, some are selling btc for other coins. Some people might be having the need and requirement for a particular coin like eth. This may be because the seller they are dealing with is asking for payment in that particular coin.

I can't imagine this because this will never happen, there are people who like holding strategy while others who prefer changing their life and not being afraid of taking risks . i m like this and prefer the trade when the price is high

I think hold will be better for the market. and will push up the market price again. hold will avoid the situation of dumping, dumping the coins, making them less expensive. Everyday needs of different people, there will be sellers and there will be buyers. There will be no case where everyone hold

Everyone has different plan and needs. When you hear the HODL, it does not mean for 1 week or 1 month, but for at least 1 year, why does this become our problem the price starts to fall, because we are provoked by the media and the existing fud. Stop making confusion, because an investor should have confidence if he takes HODL action so he is not affected by the current or tomorrow's situation.

I agree with idea that this case never take place. Because people are different, someone trading bitcoin to make them profit, and using profit to pay for their life, that means they can not hold forever. If they hold means they hold in a time to ensure that they have profit.

When no one sells but hodl one thing is sure to happen, the Bots will run the show since they're programs and not person.
And that will be dangerous as they can bring down the price of bitcoin to less than $1000 if people keep hodling.
