The cryptocurrency market has fallen by half a year since the highest point at the end of last year. Buy the 4th Quarter is close to come. We all know most of the pumps will happen at that quarter and we have still plenty of time to invest grab the opportunity the gold is near.

Buying is most sensible option than selling. I have chosen to buy altcoin which is trusted. I stay in HODL side and wait to right time to selling right price.

The price of BTC at the end of 2017 in my opinion was unjustified. It was due to the increased attention to cryptocurrencies from around the world.

If I can choose I think I'd buy more or hold what I have till the end of this year :). I think everything is rising back and it's a good time to buy more if you still have money to invest, I don't have any money left so I've to join bounty campaign to earn free. LOL. I believe if you really have interest to buy some very good coin or invest in a project even with the current condition of the market, I think it is very good to buy now or you can wait for it to dip more before you invest in them and then hold for long term so that when the market recover, and the price of the coin rise, you will make reasonable profit because you will sell at higher price.

I'm hoping that the second half of the year will be a better as this will be our time to recover the price for the year end. We are all waiting for a good news to make a bullish market but it's not clear sign of a bull run but a bull trap. Making a price move closer to $10k is difficult as more resistance to break that wall. Let's just be optimistic that we can still be good for this year.

Better to keep all coins till this year if you sell now then you loss your money because now market is red hence keep hold all coins till this year end then you will receive good profits from your investments  

I think wait until August is better than push hard to buy or sell, sometimes news are rumors and numbers become calculation, just leave and go far away from reality. This is sideways position in down trend, whatever you do your asset will stuck in long term period. I'll wait until August and prepare my back up fund to recovery asset, I hope my strategy is right.

I do not see any bad things happening right now. Bitcoin is still up 600% since last year which is more than you could get from a stock market. But I think it would be wise to buy more and stock more into your portfolio this early year because a bull run is about to happen now.

The market is manifesting recovery from a bearish one to bullish. As what experts predicted, by the end of the year, crypto market will have a very good performance and by next year the price of bitcoin won't go down to $10k. Basically, I buy and sell bitcoin and sometimes ethereum. Bitcoin has been the best coin to trade for years, there is always liquidity and volume and this make it very easy for trader and invest to trade regardless of market condition.

I would agree that the market presents a good opportunity to enter into alts, but only on the open market (trading). They've never been at such low periods for so long thanks to Bitcoin, and I still believe crypto will hit ATHs many more times, so if you take into account so many good alts at 20% or so of their prices, ATH is 5x.

But ICOs I'm not sure. Your BTC and ETH are so cheap now you'll be buying poor token values for them. I would even wait for ICOs to list and buy them after dumps.

If I were to observe the conditions of the market. Then we recommend in mid-2018 is you buy. Because to sell, the price is also mostly very low. So I think it will be a loss if you sell. then if it's possible, you have the capital, should buy for investment. And sell them later when the price is already high in the market.

Great post op. It is true that the market seems to be recovering after the prolonged bear market from the beginning of this year. Good news is coming from all directions(South Korea relaxing the restrictions on cryptocurrencies, more and more companies accepting cryptocurrencies etc) which is why I am expecting a bull run sometime in August since the demand for crypto continues to rise on a global scale.

I think many people have been surprised at the length and depth of the current bear market phase. The initial predictions were for a recovery from March onwards but this has clearly failed to materialise. We are already in to Quarter 3 2018 and the only movement appears to be sideways albeit in quite a wide range. I think it is fairly safe to assuem that the market lows are at these levels so realistically any purchases you make from here will not lose more than a little value and actually stand a far better chance to make profits.

Yeah in 2018 it has been running halfway. But the situation in the crypto currency market are still not stable and still very bad.
