This is called PoW. Background mode is not supported as your phone requires to put focus on blockchain computing. It is an intensive labor. However, reading the articles written in this thread, I'm still not convinced that there is a profit in mine on the smartphone. I will keep track of your project and it is possible to do a test. Update. I’ve been mining for a day and haven’t Mined a single block yet. Balance = 0. Samsung S9 on medium. Update. I've found a couple blocks and have received mib coins. Everything working great.
