Title: Where and how best to invest?
Post by: doroshok1 on September 17, 2018, 03:35:20 PM
Hey. I wanted to ask your advice. Am I right to make 60% of my savings invested in bitcoin and Ethereum, 40% in EOS and NEO. Bought recently on a price reduction and I'm sure in the long run it will bring me a good profit but maybe cost another distribution of my funds?

Invest only the amount that you can afford to lose. I think that bitcoin and eth is a good investment. But if you're planning to hodl, bitcoin is the one that is the right choice in my opinion, and try to day trade in altcoin. Research first if you want to do day trading so that you have enough knowledge and trade only what you can afford to lose, you will gain experience and that will help you to know more about day trading, and also read some books about it.

a good choice. but what about 50% for bitcoin and ethereum. 30% for EOS and NEO. the rest you can use to buy some other altcoins that you think are good. this is only a suggestion but worth a try.

it's a good idea but you need to think about it again because maybe bitcoin and ethereum will take a long time to recover even the price can go down so think again and make sure that you only use money that you won't use anytime soon

With my investment I diversify much more, I`m trying to have long list of coins in my portfolio. Top coins are must have in my opinion, but
paying attention on cheap coins now can worth a lot. Many projects will rise in next period, they need time for rise.
I have all of the coins you two listed, and many more. It`s good for the start, but when ever you have money you can buy a little more
coins. I decided that it`s better to save in crypto-currencies than in traditional currencies that lose value cause of the inflation. With
crypto-currencies we have a chance to make ourselves financially individual in future if we invest now.

I see you see big profit opportunities without looking at risk and accurate analysis, the coins that are mentioned are coins that are included in the top 10 exchanges are good choices but I just suggest that you reconsider investing with 60% of your savings because sometimes you will wait long so that profits can be made and last set your financial management as well as possible and strengthen mentally

Diversification is the key of every investment.
4 coins is a good start, but i'd go for at least 10 this way:

1 BTC (always hold some btc long term and try to accumulate btc thanks to alts) | 30%
3 Coins TOP 10 Market CAP | 30%
3 Coins TOP 100 Market CAP | 20%
3 Coins TOP 500 Market CAP | 10%
USD/Tether Reserve | 10% ( useful when there are alts on discount)

This way you diversify your investment, you feed your long term btc holding with the huge growth that (good) smaller coins bring.
But is important that when BTC starts correcting, you short all ALTS just to buy more after the dip(because if BTC dips, ALTs dip harder)

Good Luck  ;D

maybe a good idea but you need to understand because bitcoin and ethereum will take a long time to return to high prices, maybe you need to buy cheap coins and fast movements and you will exceed the profit from investing in bitcoin or also in etherium. for example, if you buy 1 BTC, how much do you get ETH with 1btc, and so on, try to compare it like that, surely you will buy cheap coins and get luxurious results.

in my opinion, your choice is good. because you choose a coin that will definitely increase for the short and long term, so my advice that you do is just wait until the coin price you save is increasing and I believe you will definitely get a good profit.

the best way to invest is buy the TOP 50 crypto in cmc list

NEO seemed like a no brainer for me for a moment. Although staring to get very bullish on NEM it may be PoI n not PoS but you get better "dividends". It doesn't sound good to straight hodlers, but whenever you must make a transaction; it increases your PoI. Therefore it keeps increasing your "dividends".

I think you've made a good plan for your money. However, I think you should give second look at coins that are less than $1, they are money spinners if you get to hodl the right one. You also need to decide how long you're willing to hodl for and not to be swayed by price fluctuations which bound to happen during the period.

Making decisions for yourself is the best investment plan and it encourages you to learn from loses and benefit from good decisions

Investing in the world of electronic money is the choice of many people. This field has helped many people become rich. Investing in bitcoin and ETH brings great profit. Mostly you have the courage to buy them now when prices are falling and waiting for prices to rise.

In my opinion, Bitcoin, Ether, Neo and EOS is a great solution. But Neo and EOS are certainly more risky than bitcoin and ether, although the price of both assets is now very attractive! I would advise to invest in NEO and EOS not 40, but 20 . and by stellar (!), ada, ontology, xrp, dash, bnb(!).

DYOR before doing such thing like investing your life savings.

I have read many questions like this before that they are buying coins before asking. No question to the part of bitcoin if you are bullish and long term to it but with the alts, I can't give a statement with it. Can you update us on how's your portfolio now while the market is bleeding?

Every asset that you analyze coldly, understand its limits, risks and possibilities, take responsibility, invest what you can lose and understand that there is value and not just looking at the price, can be called a good investment! Many people stay behind the prices and forget the values that each thing can bring, is often something huge or simply nothing!

There are many countries in the world supporting electronic money development. Especially those countries with economies in the world such as Japan, China, USA ... These countries facilitate electronic money development. You should invest here. Coins of great value and difficult challenges will bring you much success. Bitcoin, ethereum and NEO are valuable coins. The market for these coins is booming. That is the best choice for you.

For me you have the right to get 60% of the savings you invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum, 40% in EOS. Long-term investment, very vulnerable to losses. If you get a profit, it can happen 3 times. I hope you are lucky.

60% in bitcoin and ethereum is the right step most of your assets must be at the safest point, while 40% you can use to be in neo and eos. it remains one of the good and suitable things to use your money to make investments.

Your idea is very interesting to take action to buy a few coins for investment and your choice is right. Try to focus on buying 50% ETH, 10% BTC, the current low ETH price might be good if you want a long-term investment and at a price that is currently under $ 200 you can get for when the price goes up. Most likely the ETH will rise even though it takes a long time.

yes, it's time to invest in ETH, even though now ETH is below standard, this is because of the negative effects of the global market, hopefully this ETH will be like in 2017 where ETH triumphed and became the second best coin after BTC

I suggest to buy Altcoin and hold it until the end of the year, because at this time the advantages of Altcoin are cheap in the exchange market. And the best way to invest is to take advantage of the moment if the market experiences a deep price decline and that's where the right time to buy and hold until the price rises again.

if indeed your money is very much, why don't you allocate 50% for masternode, while the other 50% for BTC, ETH and EOS. I think with the staking in the masternode, you will get coins regularly and of course that can be used as a safeguard for your economic needs
while the benefits of Bitcoin, ETH and EOS can you make additional income

Yeah the altcoins that he invest are good but I think he needs to invest more in different altcoins, like for example 50% for Bitcoin 40% for ethereum, neo , eos and 10% for other coins that having good potential.

It means you use all of your saving in cryptocurrency. I think it's not good for you although we know that in the future, cryptocurrency will rise, I hope you still have money for your daily life because you need to continue your life. I think you can use 60% of your saving to invest in bitcoin for 40%, and then the rest of the money, you can split for the various coin which you think it will increase later. But if you already use 100% of your savings, then you can only wait for the price.

if you want to invest I think the way to earn you can invest in altcoin buy altcoin with potential and longterm like xrp btc and eth those coin that know longterm even if the price is high those coin that I think can still be canceled if many buy and if many hold their coin hold that there is no coin that will drop the coin price in coinmarket so buy a coin with a potential because they are still cheap coin today.

All of the coins that you have mentioned represent good value at present with the altcoins having taken a particular hard hit during the summer of 2018. I have said several times that picking potential good investment coins right now does not need a huge amount of skill, simply pick any of the top 25 coins from coinmarketcap and sit back and wait for the next bull phase to begin.

That strategy is good too you can earn in those altcoins, those altcoins has a cheaper price nowadays and it is rising now.
Just hold and wait for the right time to sell it when you know you gain a huge profit from it.

60% of Bitcoin and 40% of NEO and EOS is pretty good one. I guess you are not a risk taker since you only invest on the project that already developed and has good market value. This will be good in the long run, even though you will not get great profit in a short time but you will not lose all of your too. If you ask me about some advice, looking at your style in investing which is "play-safe" I will suggest you to bought some Ethereum, first of all Ethereum project has great development, and market value/cap. But recently the price of ETH is falling down pretty hard, so if you lucky enough you will get buy ETH at the Bottom, and gain some good profit. And at the same time you will still invest in low-risk.

yes, I agree because what I see now is that the crypto market is fluctuating and so now the price of altcoin has also declined and has not yet stabilized, so now it is better for us to hold the altcoins we have and invest in bitcoin over the long term because of the long holding an altcoin can also benefit well

I agree with your opinion, preferable 20% can be allocated to the best altcoin, can you check in marketcap and if you like saving 80% of it in some of the exchanges worth a try take some token/coin with an active developer and the project is good, but it should be in check also supply the token/coin

Invest only the amount of money you can lose. Otherwise, the situation may turn into panic and you will have to sell with losses. But if you can wait, then of course buy. But don't sell all bitcoins. It will rise in price by the end of the year.

I cannot find much fault in your strategy and if you have purchased the coins recently then you have been able to take advantage of some extremely favourable prices in all four of the coins. It is a sensible choice to spread your funds over a minimum of four or five coins to offer greater flexibility and reduce exposure to a single point of failure.

This is my theory of investing in the crypto market. I never invest an amount i do not wish to loss. So i would only invest an amount i wish to loss and never than that not 40% as you mentioned.i think actually this is the right time to invest as now the market is in the bottom and it is in a resistance zone.and the other thing is coins you mentioned were good and i think the you better to invest in ADA rather than ethereum

Hey are you going to invest all of your savings into the crypto currencies then it might not sounds like a good idea because it is volatile market where we can't have any guaranteed returns from investing on the cryptos so you need to invest only half of your savings into cryptos and the remaining might be into the guaranteed investments and also invest on some shitcoins also which can give more profits.

Bitcoin and ETH are very strong choices, and I like NEO as well. It's up to you if you want to diversify further, but it probably depends how much money you have put in - there is no point diversifying if you're only putting a few dollars into a coin, but good reason if it's thousands.

Your idea of investment is good and most especially the BTC and ETH because two is good for long term investment. If you want to invest in Altcoins make sure you have proper investigation and make sure looking through the market cap for the top existing Altcoins. Always remember investing your money could be dangerous not in all aspect but for the purpose is gambling rules which means invest what you can afford to loose.

Hey. I wanted to ask your advice. Am I right to make 60% of my savings invested in bitcoin and Ethereum, 40% in EOS and NEO. Bought recently on a price reduction and I'm sure in the long run it will bring me a good profit but maybe cost another distribution of my funds?

You've created some beauty invesment basket, I think. You can may be pick one or two alts also and buy with your BTC. But you have to look on market, it will give you info which you need.

I think your choice is right, especially if you invest in the long term, yes the current situation is the choice to buy and hold. no other. except if you have other knowledge such as daily trading

I see that you are investing or that you might have invested all that you have been able to save all this while. To me, i feel it is a wrong decision. Even though you are investing on good coins, it is still not advisable to invest all your life savings into crypto.
There are even times you might need fiat. Let's say for instance, the market is down and you cannot use the coin you have at hand, because it has plunged. In this case, you might use fiat to buy another coin.

First of all, are you going to enter ico or listed?

you can invest in rank 1-20 in CMC is good, but if you like a high profit and high risk maybe can invest in ICO/new token.
if you invest in long term better in ETH,Bitcoin,XRP,waves,EOS,dash,BTG that's my favorite.

Paragon
Stellar
Ripple
These are the three I am currently using and not even kidding but these have excellent projects which end up being successful. Invest in these altcoins for sure.

I think binance still leads the "best place to invest" in a manner of trading however if you are going to go long term on a coin I would definitely suggest you to download the wallet of that crypto currency to keep it on your pc, that is definitely miles better than holding on any exchange and definitely safer option.

Unless of course you are investing really small amounts like couple hundred bucks which means you could use anything you want. Best way to invest is to find a coin that you trust blind-foldedly and definitely go after it and collect as much of that coin as you can but divide your money into smaller amounts so you can invest every month instead of investing all at once.

If you do this you can ride the bear market and bull market all the same without worrying about swings since you already got in at highs and lows as well.

Do not bring that much of your savings into the market. Twenty percent of your savings would be a good idea because the thing about cryptos is that they are very volatile and unpredictable and coins can end up getting delisted which would leave you with useless coins in the long run. just be careful about how you invest and only invest money that you are willing to lose

bitcoin is the best choice. How to ? easy, just hold it for a few years and you can get a big profit. or do you want to try a more risky one, like investing in an ICO but my advice is not to do it.

if you are still looking for something right now, top 100 cryptocurrency is a good choice for you right now.
everything is undervalued and oversold right now and most of them are starting to make a breakout right now, just like Wanchain if you ever heard this project before.
currently it is trying to break 0.00017 level, even after the dump that happened with Bitcoin yesterday it keeps moving up and keep trying to break that level and make a new support around that.

no risk no gain, i believe it is worth to take the risk.

Should have split your savings 50-50, for cypto and for the other half, traditional stocks. Most coins are closely correlated in crypto so even if you say that it is bound to increase long term, the risk is still there--when bitcoin severely drops it doesn't matter how good you diversified your assets into crypto as they'll all drop as well.

I can assure you that picking potential coins in terms of investment is not hard if you know how find one and when to invest in it either. However, you said the market will never rise which you're wrong because this is not the first time the crypto market will experience correction and I believe the reason why most of you guys think the market will never return to the glory day is because you're still expecting some bull run in this year whereas there's nothing much left in this year market than to seize the buying in dip chance.

Day trading is definitely the best way to invest in coins and it also the best way for an inexperienced traders or investors to loose his/her funds. However, day trading require a lot of time and it not advisable right now either because even experienced traders still encounter loses this days due to the market drastic movement in price.

You can choose NEO and EOS as your investment cause both of them are a good coin. But I suggest you buy them in some stage. Example you have 10k$ worth of BTC then you can invest on each of them 1k$ first and you can invest again when their price is down or depends on market situation & condition you can invest more. So you maximize your profit & Minimize your lose. I think both of them has a great technology inside in NEO & EOS. But if you put all your 10k$ directly into them and their price is going down day by day of course you will got stress. So its my suggestion for you.

In the crypto market it's good to invest only the amounts you can afford to lose. This is not because you will lose that amount, but the investment will bring profit in the long run, so you will not use that amount for a while until it brings you good profit. I think the coins you want to invest, are very good, very secure, they are TOP coins that do not have big fluctuations and will bring you long-term profits. I can recommend you the Onthology coin, if you follow its chart, you will understand that it's a good prospect to invest in onthology

Where and how best to invest is actually dependent on you as an individual. The thing is that there are so many projects to be investing, it is just for you to choose the ones that you feel align with your interest, have the great potential for the future, have solid products that you believe will really give it some great boost in the long run, and then you are able to stick into that future, then you can be investing.

Asking questions of where to invest and how to invest on a public forum is something you will practically get more confused as people will even tell you things they are not even sure of. It is your investment and it should be your own decision to make based on your due diligence.

The risk of investment in the encrypted market is very large. Especially in bear markets. I think you can invest the money you can afford to invest. Don't put all the money into it. You can take this part of your capital to diversify your investments. Diversify investment and reduce investment risk.

So many times, I have seen people asking questions like where to invest and how to invest, and I tend to wonder if they actually know that we are talking about their own investment in this vein, and I also tend to wonder if they actually get or manage to find some knowledge to assist them in making the right decisions in this space in the first place. This is about an investment, and if you want to make an investment, you should be liable to the decisions you make, which you should only do with proper research.

We can call names here now, but even with that, you should be ready to still do some due diligence to be sure of what you are getting into. When you lose, it is your loss, and when you profit, it is all yours, so learn to make your own decisions like someone rightly said.

You did a good business you bought the coins when the price was cheap, now there is nothing else to do, I know it may seem odd but right now you already did everything you could, the only thing left for you is to wait and while that may seem easy it is precisely at that step where most investors fail because they lack the patience to hold their coins for long.

Where to invest, how to invest and the time to be investing is based on the knowledge you actually have as a person, which most of the time will guide you into all those things eventually. People look for the easy way out by expecting people to tell them what to do, but the gospel truth is that there is no easy way out.

When you want to invest in something, it is your duty to understand what makes that investment tick for long term growth, how do you perceive it and are some factors such as product and team rightly in place? All these things will give you all you need for an informed decision making, so no one should ever make investment decisions without having to gather some information themselves.

Yes, Bitcoin and Ethereum are good for long-term investments. But to get profit you have to be patient because the current market conditions are still low. But now is the right time to buy the top coins, it's better to hold a few coins. Currently, the coins that experience good growth, in my opinion, are BNBs, maybe you can buy them too.

It is difficult to find potential projects at this time because most people are more inclined to switch to IEO investment and ICO is making investors feel discouraged, so assessing a project Good ICO project is absolutely no evidence. I think Faireum will also be just a normal project and nothing too special at this time

I think the best bet is Bitcoin and ETH but we need more time to see the price boom, and possibility is that will not happen soon, and maybe we need to wait for next bitcoin halving.

The good and potential choice in the crypto market is always Bitcoin and ETH. Therefore you should continue to invest in them for long-term goals. On the other hand, you should buy Altcoins in the top ten short-term investments that will be more effective.

You choose the right coins. But if i were you, just 50% in bitcoin and 50% altcoins. Ethereum is also a good choice. Xrp is now bypassing ethereum on the top list and it is also a good coin to invest. Choose also some good altcoins that provides a good projects, it may help you to gain profits if it was an active project.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are in deep correction that's why it's ok to hold them now, also I can advice you to trade in pair alt/eth because ETH has potential for double growth this year instead of bitcoin.

All these things will give you all you need for an informed decision making, so no one should ever make investment decisions without having to gather some information themselves.

buy tezos under 0.7
it will come to 10 dollar easily in short term. atleast 20% buy tezos.
and buy waves 10%. i believe it will make at least 2x in q2 2019

The good investor always ready to take any type of risk involved in it without taking any opportunities with a risk will not give the success so any type of field will had these type of difficulties but crossing all these problems will give you the proper success I think crypto field will be the most easiest way of money making.
