Just 10 days ago it was trading at $0.26 but as of today (21st September 2018) it is trading at $0.90 (+91% in last 24 hrs) which is 0.00010311 BTC (+79% increase in last 24 hrs)

It is nonsense to compare Ripple with Bitcoin and Ethereum. I am really getting sick of it. This is the next pump and dump for Ripple. They will put it on 2 USD again only to dump it again after and in the process using that bubble money to buy Bitcoin, where the real value is. Really sad. I was wondering when I saw the latest news but I will not touch Ripple for a principle.

With a Bang!!!!! and I'm not even surprised. Not for once have I ever doubted that coin, and I think that this is the beginning of the many things that the coin is meant to do and be. A time will come when those who totally rejected the coin, would question why they did that, and have faith in it. As for me, I am also holding MOST of my coins but not Ripple. I took the decision to sell this coin when I understood that I do not want to deal with the currency which is not a real crypto, which cannot be mined and which is centralized.

XRP crashes over 10% in just 24 hours today. I think XRP is not stable and it is not safe to buy and hold XRP now, XRP price can be lower.

It crashes because the rice is based on bitcoin, and bitcoin dump 11 percent today.
That means per satoshi it has not dropped but only in dollar value, it's the trend, you should understand that it's alright.

I do have a good feeling about Ripple. There's a good chance that it will land on a good price by end of the year. With all of the buzz that's been goin around (mostly good), XRP may be building up a momentum towards December or January. Speculative? Yes. But there's a great chance it will push through.

We know ripple has a great innovation and partnership. but I am not confident enough to say this is the day. Just for sharing, I concern into Stellar. The chart looks great this year. Just my opinion.

XRP is back and it is bad for the whole crypto community. It is very sad that a centralised coin takes the second place on the market, because it shows that the majority of people are here for profits and not because of the idea.

There is nothing to be happy about, you don't know XRP. It is a coin that is good at camouflage. Although it has blockchain technology, it is actually a concentrated shit. This is a traitor to cryptocurrency. XLM is the real cryptocurrency.

The thing to focus on with Ripple is that they use blockchain technology, I am not overly concerned whether it's a centralised or decentralised coin. If Ripple adoption becomes a gateway for acceptance of blockchain in wider industry then it is a huge benefit to all the other coins down the road. There are decent profits to be made trading with XRP as it regularly pumps and resets itself again later on.

XRP can never replace Bitcoin. There is not even any comparability between them. Although XRP has a certain number of users, it is not enough to compare!

Ripple market cap starts to move away from Ethereum, and I think Ripple's position will continue to be second in the coinmarketcap for a long time.

I think we won't even see XRP in the Top 10 in the next couple of years. It will take a while though, but we will eventually get there.

xrp has been pump upto 4$ before last january 2018. I do not think it is a big comeback by the way. Though, It is pretty nice to see a good market fluctuations rather than full dip market.

I can say that XRP is a hot topic for a while. We saw it climbed to 0.80 usd few months ago from sleeping at around 0.45 usd. Now everytime it dumped or pumped, a quick correction happens. I urge you to do hours of research into the problem that XRP is currently solving (The internet of Value) and what this means to the world.  This is worth many, many trillions of dollars in untapped and unrealized value.  They have been building the necessary liquidity for their customers to save massively in cross border payments.  As they are able to settle more and more cross border payments quickly and cheaply it will be used in more and more corridors throughout the world building ever deeper pools of liquidity.  Once you see the big picture and the end-game you'll laugh at $2.  We are still very early here.  Park your money in XRP and don't touch if for 4-5 years.  They have quietly just this year become the most decentralized digital asset in the top 5, much more decentralized than BTC and ETH.  It's not too late.  Full disclosure: I don't follow the 589 crowd and believe this is unlikely and certainly many years down the road. Whats not far fetched is that if Ripple continues to build RippleNet at its current pace something in the $30-75 range in the next 2-4 years and $100+ in 5-7 years is absolutely possible.  Certain factors such as Central Banks holding XRP as a reserve currency could move these figures above up several orders of magnitude.

No it will not be long time. ETH will be take back their place at #2 as the king of bitcoin as soon as bitcoin recovered or back to $6.5k. But still, can't believe with XRP, i still remember when i have bought it @200 sat/XRP and now it's worth 40 times higher than that time.

Price manipulation in the market has impacted very much on the top coins as BTC and ETH downfall was more, so it doesn't mean that eth is going down. I am sure it will recover very soon and come strong in the market.

Now that the Bitcoin Cash civil war has erupted and its market capital is falling as it heads towards a all time low, no fork will save it. That leaves Bitcoin, XRP and Ethereum to stay in the top 3 in that order for a couple of years at least.

XRP might not be decentralised but it is a worthy number 2 to Bitcoin because of how it can revolutionise the international banking and transaction system.

I believe that XRP can grow more and it become competitive between Bitcoin and ethereum. At this point I am investing all of this coin as I see the potential of each on the market. Sometimes I doubted but regret for not keeping. Ripple is also good at trading when you do not believe that it could live long. I gained for it at short time though.

Ripple is good coin for shorting, ripple is so centralized so much that price of ripple can quadriple in a matter of hours or days. We can therefore say ripple is back to it's position though this position is often taken by ethereum. I will say ripple will be good and it will bring good return to investors in the short term!

XRP has been a very good altcoin and it is one of the oldest altcoins. Likely the Ethereum. The volume and market analysis show that This coin is very promising. Last year Western Union did some transactions to test the Ripple Network. Lots of announcements regularly are made but XRP price does not spike. Still it is #2 in market capital behind only Bitcoin.

Yes, ripple is just another corporate company, it is not a coin.
Why people mistake xrp and ripple I have no idea. Normally they have no connection other than company making some cash for themselves whenever they want.

There is absolutely no correlation between the two because when the company gets a deal or signs a contract with some big company the price of xrp goes up as well but there is no need. They are not going to buy their coin back from you just because they made money, or they are not going to give you dividends on the profits they made.

This is not stock or share of a company, it is just a way for them to sell and profit whenever they are short on cash. I do not know why ripple has been going on this long and I really hope it will soon finish because it is literally looking they it might be a scam for you and very dangerous.

People don't know anything about XRP. Also do not know how to cook it. There's a very powerful PR team. Support from movie stars, famous politicians and other people. Traders love ripple. Tits, ass, instagram, Lamborghini, sex, alcohol, beautiful life, all these things sit in people's heads, also competently put ripple there.

Ripple is pumping at the moment while ether is dipping. They are going two opposite ways and before we knew it, Ripple is already miles ahead of ether. We must be careful also because of the history ripple has given us. They are centralized and don't like it that way.

On the other hand for continuous dump of Ether market investors are thinking another tokens for investment. Market is always here for some time to see up or down so it all depend when the going was smooth for any coin that attract the trader at that particular time or any one that has a huge news coming to boost the usage of the token that will catch the attention of the market and in just some minutes it will gain high volume.

I am not surprised if one time XRP will be in permanent spot #2, because XRP is really performing well, without any issues or shall i say just a small issues, but this coin is really performing well, and gathers millions of supporters in the community.

It is better to see like these and as Ripple surpassing Ethereum will surely give a huge attention by its owner to create strategies to bring back clients trust and investment. In previous days, we saw how dip is Ripple and eventually have a good trend right and to take over Ethereum. I think that's a normal thing. Because XRP is a special altcoins and they just want to make money in this market with the transaction fees from the floor. It's not a crypto, it's a real business so invest in it you will not fear it's collapsing like BCH.

We can not say that XRP is really growing now because its price is still low compared to three weeks ago. Anyway, the above information shows that it is one of the great altcoins. It is not easy to be manipulated by whales and that is what I appreciate.

Nice summarizing of data and now its easy to understand , I think this is the third time that ETH was leave behind by XRP and the biggest gap , maybe this is now the time for ripple to take the second place to BTC , but hopefully ETH will recover because personally I don't like centralize coin .

If you check the volume 24Hr on cmc now was $1,105,142,476    per day. and the price $0.436902 per XRP. But it was still good for trading. because they pump on the market $0.436902 to $0.5+ with in month that was good trading.

It can't go anywhere, not without the bitcoin. And bitcoin is not going anywhere but bottom. And unless the Bitcoin don't show any signs of positive movement, no other crypto is going to move up.

This is probably the first time in 9 months it feels good to be all in on xrp. I’d rather see everything in the green with xrp in the lead, this scenario is not really benefiting anyone except xrp holders.

I recently read that the XRP project today still does not have a blockchain that would comply with all the rules of a normal blockchain because in most other cases it is only a table that collects data. They are easily edited.

The problem with ETH is that so many tokens/contracts are on their blockchain so if it goes down so does almost everything ETH related.

I don't know, it looks to be only temporary, something like a bull trap to get people thinking that the coin is back on track, hell of the coins are a bull trap right now. The coins are no doubt going to stay like this for a very long time before we start to see any kind of increase in the prices, but we have to be patient and hodl for  long time

The banking and business world can make use of XRP and the Ripple network so it makes sense to want to invest and develop. Apart from Bitcoin which is the base crypto currency and Ethereum which uses smart contracts nearly all other crypto (except some tokens) have no real world use so investing in most of them is nothing more than a gamble.

And again that show the flaw of the coinmarketcap calculation.  If XRP have lesser amount I am sure it won't be on that place right now. So it workd in both ways.  Create trillions of token, play the exchange to have 100k usd volume everyday then boom you are listed on top.  I am not saying XRP is doing that, I am just stating the flaw on that site.

Anyway, I still believe XRP is somehow a good token to invest in today if you can  follow the market fluctuation.

XRP is the low cost option to use on the Ripple network. xRapid uses XRP and it will make transactions faster and cheaper than not using it.

I think that many simply took the time and read what XRP is because this project is very difficult to attribute to cryptocurrency, because their blockchain is similar to a table in Excel that is very easy to edit.

Ripple shows its highest strength in the last few weeks when the whole market was in a dilemma and every coin was dropping but ripple was growing and it crosses the second largest coin ethereum in market cap and grab the 2nd position because of its buying spree.

Lots of people have dumped their crypto stock to buy XRP. it makes sense for them as they feel they have a better ROI with XRP. There is no guarantee about that of course but they feel comfortable holding XRP.

Recently XRP is doing really good. But for that comparing XRP with ETH or btc is not good. They all have their own project and they are very different from each other. It is nice to see that someone moved the ether and made a coup, maybe after that the increase in benefits and competition will begin. Although it is hard to believe in the appearance of forks, now you can reinvest in a ripple and gain even more from it.

Ripple is probably the only coin which was pretty stable this year, there wasnt a sale like on other altcoins. It shows that investors believe in this coin and will not sell for cheap.

I have seen that numbers  and it really impressed me. But at the same time I understand that this is not a result of free market regulation. The big part of coins is under control of its management group. So I can not exclude that this growth is directed by somebodies.

Not all people are after decentralised crypto, many people just want to make a profit regardless.

XRP will pump at the right time, price is still profitable unlike other coins that was dumped hard and was not able to trade at ICO price.
XRP at $0.294432 is still a good price, it's down more than 10x from its ATH, so I think this price is very cheap already and it will not go down anymore.

Even with those pumps and dumps XRP has remained very stable for many years. It hit c.$3.60 during the crypto peak prices but is doing very well as it went back to its pre-peak prices and then increased.
