In order for Rippl to win Ethereum, too much effort is needed from the Rippl development team and the emerging market conditions. And yet - Rippl and ethereum are in different segments of the crypto market. They can successfully go in different ways.

According to CoinMarketCap XRP is flying high and increasing for the first time since the Jan 2018 surge when it nearly hit $3.50
Just 10 days ago it was trading at $0.26 but as of today (21st September 2018) it is trading at $0.90 (+91% in last 24 hrs) which is 0.00010311 BTC (+79% increase in last 24 hrs)
Bitcoin is market capital is now $115,996,227,671
Ethereum market capital is now $23,379,960,058
XRP market capital is now $26,678,022,173
XRP 24 hour volume is $3,192,760,355
Ethereum 24 hour volume is $2,362,880,802
Do you think this is the period when XRP cements it place in the long run as second only to Bitcoin by displacing Ethereum?
I think not. because even though Ripple gaining more volume in the last 24 hours than ETH but the value of both coins is having a big margin, therefore XRP needs to power up its value to come closer to ETH because comparing them. |

Rippl today shows itself as a strong, reliable coin. But this altcoin cannot move against the market. If bitcoin continues to fall, the price of ripple will also move down.
Maybe so but it is second by market capital and has left Ethereum behind. |

With a Bang!!!!! and I'm not even surprised. Not for once have I ever doubted that coin, and I think that this is the beginning of the many things that the coin is meant to do and be. A time will come when those who totally rejected the coin, would question why they did that, and have faith in it. I really love this coin, and have faith in it, and can'y wait to see the amazing things it is set to do in the industry.
XRP is competing in the market and get popularity to investors as it beat the volume of ethereum. I did invest on this coin because it is good even for trading than long term. It is good to earn little by little and sometimes has big change on the market which is a big opportunity to gain better. I do not doubt this coin. |

Right now goes without say XRP is winning and Ethereum is doing very bad. Yes today the whole market is falling but Ethereum falling so much has shocked everybody. |

I don't have any bad blood with ripple but I believe it only placed to the second spot because of Ethereum's very big drop in terms of price. For me, Ethereum just outperformed ripple making it look like ripple surpassed Ethereum. |

It will increase the value but the value of ethereum I don't think so. But better if we have more ripple now because for sure it will grow our money if we invested to this coin. Ripple will back again to thw highest price like what they reach before.

Xrp is a very good coin itself. Many people don't like ripple cause it's centralised and backed by banks. But I am one of them. But if you think about it's technology it is very good and useful. So it's very easy to accept by general people. I don't know what gonna happen in future but for now as a project xrp has very strong prospective. Maybe in future ethereum also do some recovery in price and long as in project but now xrp is going very strong and good.

It would seem so, when I was looking at it and discovered that ripple had taken the second spot from ethereum my first thought was, who would have thought? But here we are. It is the one thing that gets me about the crypto market and the coins everytime, there is no way that anyone can tell what is going to happen and this just proves it

I can say that there will be big competition between ripple and ethereum, but on bitcoin? It would be impossible for now. As you can look on the current value in the coinmarketcap, there has already a big variance.

XRP is a shitcoin that does not deserve to be here. Why are people investing in a centralised bank solutions instead of supporting the idea of decentralisation and buying real crypto currencies. Seems really strange for me.
Most investors want to make money whether a coin is centralised or decentralised. Yes , investors wants to use ripple as payments for their shipping business as they use blockchain technology for it , and this is good if there is already rules and regulation in a particular country so I think more centralize coin will come soon . |
