What do you think about the popularity of Cryptocurrencies around the world, do you think many people now are aware of this Technology currencies?, how much percentage would you think and how can we expose and spread this? :) :)

Yes crypto is getting global. Specially during its peak at 2017, Google searches along, show that bitcoin/crypto is taking the world by strong.

However, its really hard to speculate the percentage of the growth though. Remember that wallets doesn't have a name, and individual can own multiple wallets as well. If I can give my estimates, probably around 1%-5% would be a good start, but I might be wrong though.

Bitcoin is being said in sitcoms and tv series, so I think most people have heard it once. We can say that cryptocurrency is getting recognized globally. But we still need more effort to convert those who are just aware of its existence into users of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency is getting famous around since last year. You can already see that Bitcoin is being use as a way of payment for larges things such as cars and even houses and smalls things such as bills and game credits. Adoptions are taking place. Although the percentage of aware of people are still low, it is still increasing each day.

I think we can see that countries are facing the crypto money every day. Many countries, particularly Venezuela, Russia, Iran, Argentina, Switzerland, Canada, Slovenia, have made progress in this area. I think the whole world will soon be accepted. Crypto money age may soon begin.

Don't forget the card era. The time is still shifting and it is not yet for crypto currencies, we still have the card era where in the payment is usually being used by card, swiping etc. It is also efficient in that way since as the same as the perk of the crypto currencies, you don't need to bring all your money into your wallet or your pocket, you just need to bring your card.

I think that we are in the shifting era. Were people are starting to know the cryptocurrency and starting off to be interested to it. As day by day cryptocurrency become more popular, many people are starting to be interested and now investing to it. The social media is a great help in endorsing the cryptocurrency.

I agree with you. I did not know anything about crypto currency 1 year ago, but now I have invested a little money in ICO, I trade at crypto-exchange, and I tell my friends about the development of the crypto industry.

Cryptocurrency around the world have not really grown to that extent we want it to. Though,  investors around world have been trying to expose cryptos but the governments of many countries are not making matter easy. The restrictions on cryptocurrency has caused so many negative impression on cryptocurrency thus, causing double intentions especially bitcoin.

The peak of popularity of the cryptocurrency is in December 2017гoдa during the crazy growth of bitcoin to $ 20,000. Then the most popular query in search engines were the words cryptocurrency and bitcoin.
Research institutes in those days conducted surveys and even then in Europe the percentage of people who heard or used cryptocurrency was about 65%. But as you all know, Europe is the most developed part of our globe and its population is not the largest.
Take for example China, Japan and Korea - these countries are also at the forefront in the world in terms of the number of people who know about cryptocurrencies as they are high-tech countries with a huge population.
But if you still imagine the overall picture of the percentage of people on earth who know about the cryptocurrency is not so great only about 15%. This is due to the ratio of the poor to the rich because in today's world there are still a lot of people below the poverty line and you can not even imagine how many of them. And what kind of cryptocurrency can we talk about for them..
The world does not stand still and every year blockchain technology will continue to conquer the world and I think in a year this number should increase to 20%

Crypto is slowly moving into markets around the world. Bitcoin growth has made many be aware of crypto currencies. Crypto currencies are slowly getting spread much wider. Adaption is really increasing. Though the governments are yet to accept bitcoin, the citizens of the respected countries do welcome bitcoin and invest money into it like trading and etc.

The spread of Bitcoin has globalized to all corners of the world, although there are some countries that expressly reject Bitcoin users as a transaction tool. With the existence of Bitcoin, the electronic payment system and investment promises are approaching in the future.

I believe the governments are behind the crypto movement so in time we will slowly be moved over no matter what we do.  For me the play is to gain as much possible income from the boom as possible so I can evade the bullshit that will come with the governments involved in every transaction on earth.

You can get the gist from this. You can't say that this represents the exact figures but you can get the idea that the growth is continue increasing.
Adoption is growing day by day and with the word of mouth from people who are actually utilizing it, it will exponentially increase as years go by.

i think it slowly grow in around the world because no have many real use case.

Cryptocurrency are being talked around the world, and its good thing for us. But honestly, there are some institution who are preventing people from using it, just like my friend who are working in the bank, they are not allowed to own any cryptocurrency because banks said its a scam. Well, many people are already aware but they don’t own something.

There's no exact percentage on how many people are aware now about crypto's but I can say that its not yet too far. But base on coinbase' CEO its growing and it only means that people are becoming more aware of it. We can spread this growth through different social media platforms.

Crypto currency has been rapidly growing and it is now become well recognized in global even though it is not becoming a global currency. It is being discussed by most people around the world, the legality is most debatable about the existence of it. Regardless the legality of it, crypto currency will be a bright light for global economic.   

Somehow it can affect the cryptos most especially if they regulate or ban the usage of any cryptos in their country but this countries is just a small percentage around the world and countries that legalize nor permitted the usage is much higher. Cryptos had already drawn attention to many, though it's hard to speculate but we can assume that this is the future and can claim it.

a dilemmatic technological development, on one hand government is not ready to accept it, but on the other hand the government must be prepared to face changing times, so as not to be left behind by other developed countries. i hope there will be a legality policy for cryptocurrency

so far crypto almost all corners of the world already know what crypto is. we have found a lot from social media advertisements and news on television talking about crypto. like me following the bounty is a form of disseminating information about crypto to my social media.

Almost global but not all accept cryptocurrencies in their country because of FEAR. So the cryptocurrency is not fully global yet but it is known to all crypto enthusiast around the world.

Yeah, this is one thing I expect would happen over time. Sure, no government will want to give up control and that is certainly normal, but at the same time, no government want to be left out from the advancement of technology, most especially this being a general global thing or development, and once you get left out, ended up becoming a laggard, you will always be at the lower end of the chain (as simple as that), so this would really make a lot of countries to brace up and see how they can do things differently and probably, regulate it and make things work out for everyone's benefit.

In my local community, many people told me that they want to invest in cryptocurrency. It means that cryptocurrency is prevailing in the world and soon it will hold the market. I know that it will take long time but eventually crypto will be the global currency. I want a cashless society and for that, the use of cryptocurrency is mandatory throughout the world.

It is enough that in the whole world there is a crisis. Where in this country citizens of weak countries will bear money? In precious metals, stocks, foreign currency, as well as in the crypto currency. Turkey, Argentina is an example.

Popularity doesn't mean anything when it doesn't come around with the adoption. Lack of curiosity or the problem with cryptocurrencies UX problem, In general, could be the problem why the adoption hasn't got any significant increase. Cryptocurrencies space needs to make the UX easier for regular people and fixed the capability issues. I believe when the issue resolved it won't be hard to gain a momentum for cryptocurrencies user.

Crypto already go global and really popular,but not everyone is adore of crypto,because some people used it for bad things,and that is also the reason the government want to banned and regulate crypto, so the popularity can't be rely for the adoption

Maybe people already heard about cryptocurrency but they never try to use it or invest some money here because of that fear. Cryptocurrency is indeed making a global impact in terms of developing good technologies, but some government are still not convinced by the usage and security of cryptocurrency and maybe that's also why people are still afraid.

Of course, and it is increasing by the day, every now and then. Most places I go to today, there will always be some discussions about crypto and I get amazed at the rate at which people really get to swim in the idea of how cryptocurrency is really more like a savior to the ridden fiat over the years.

I believe cryptocurrency will keep growing, governments will find a way to simply adopt it and then make it an alternative by regulating it, and then we will get to see everyone happy.

That's a valid point. That's why before getting yourself involved on crypto, you really need to learn and ins and out specially how to protect your wallet and your private keys.

I wouldn't say that wallets are not safe. Its up to the person who are going to use it. If they didn't know how to secure then you can be a victim here.

Cryptocurrency is getting known globally. But there are other countries hard to accept that bitcoin is getting used specially in trading world wide. Like in my country, they see it as part of illegal transactions, which affecting so much the crytocurrency reputation.

in developed countries, awareness of finance technology is very large because they already feel the impact and benefits of daily life, so that cryptocurrency technology began to be made a life choice as a means of investment. but in developing countries, this awareness is still lacking because in daily life using traditional finance.

For the percentage of people who knows and have cryptocurrencies varies from one country to another, but it is higher in the more developed countries specially in China where their are hundreds of mining farms. And right now it is getting much attention even in a bear market and we just need to remember that the blockchain technology has not been utilized fully and many of these projects are not yet in full operation.

I’m tired of seeing this topic like every time. You don’t need to spread awareness or whatever, Bitcoin is already popular and the world knows about it, but it’s just a matter of choice. It’s only people that are interested in it that will join and those who are not interested will choose to stay away from it.

This is mainly for investors and Bitcoin doesn’t even pay much and there are also a lot of risks involved. Someone who is living in the U.S and earning a decent amount every month won’t be interested in Bitcoin, trust me, they will prefer to put more focus on their job, unless maybe they have plans to increase their money through Bitcoin by investing when the price bubbles.

Yeah you are right and the reason for it is that people now understand the importance of bitcoin and future of it. they realize that in the future the whole world will use cryptocurrency and it will take over the currency market in the coming years, not sure how much time it will take but it is guaranteed that cryptocurrency will be the only usable currency in the future.

By some data there is 40% of world population who do not have internet access in 2018, so they are for now excluded to participate in cryptocurrency in any way. Most of people in developed countries have heard for BTC, mostly because what is happening last year, it was all over the media. But average person do not know too much about BTC or cryptocurrency is general, mainly they talk about how some people buy BTC for 1$ or less and sell it for 20k$ and make fortune.

So my conclusion is that it is less then 5% of world population involved with cryptocurrency at this moment, and maybe 1% understands the potential of this technology. I think internet is one of the most powerful ways for sharing information, so if you want to help to more people become aware of this technology maybe you should start with your country, make a blog/website and give people information.

Well, you cannot just expect to wake up one fateful day and then see everyone across the globe accept cryptocurrency immediately. Changes do not come once, they take gradual process and while we will have those that will be quick to accept it, we will always have the laggards in the equation who might just be there benefiting from just the usage in the long run, but early adopters will always have a better chance for themselves, more than just the usage but the value over time.

The most popular and well known cryptocurrency of all time is BITCOIN, since no other cryptocurrency can replace it. People around the globe become more aware of the cryptocurrency due to many ads imposing in social media and also stories about a success of a person because of BITCOIN. Maybe in a few years later most of the people will start to used it as they used the fiats. We can spread this by not leaving the cryptocurrency just because of panic selling.

Yes it is no doubt that a lot of people are now engaging in cryptocyrrencies. In different country it has been known and used by many people. Though we know that there still country who doent adapt crypto in their country, and some ban this in their country. But one thing is for sure the number of people knowing bitcoin is increasing.

People at least must have heard the word cryptocurrency or Bitcoin once. I would say around 60% of the world population are aware of crypto existence. But the number of people who really understand crypto is so much less. I would say about 1-5% (around 70-350 million people) at least know the basic of crypto.

I don't think we should put our time to promote crypto. The whole ecosystem is growing at a good pace now, it will promote itself without any effort solely for promotion needed. The major obstacle now is legal issue and that's not something we, ordinary people, can do about.

Investment should not be exposed publicly, there must be a strict selection and supervised by a responsible institution, especially if it have high risks such as crypto. Education can be done along with that exposure, but for poor and developing countries, this is very risky and the demand is not much, it’s feasible and must be applied, but if you calculate the budget that must be used they will think twice, they would prefer to build infrastructure or provide loans to businesses.

Speaking of popularity will, bitcoin i think its not that popular because there are many peolpe can't relate this digital money and there are some others who poor in internet connection and this problem have been already. It's hard to believed in bitcoin but for sure you have a better profit in day trading.

The popularity of cryptocurrencies is increasing with Bitcoin's increasing popularity. But in my opinion the percentage of people who know the whereabouts of cryptocurrencies is still small. Only limited to hearing, most of them do not understand cryptocurrencies.
I began to spread it through social media. But I agree if legal issues are issued by the government in various countries, which most influence the popularity of cryptocurrencies. If the government accepts, naturally cryptocurrencies will be known and accepted by many people.

well people around the world start to think blockchain would be important in future. With the hype of blockchain technology more people will be intrested to invest in cryptocurrency, especially the one who are providing blockchain technology such as ethereum, nem, xlm and etc.

Cryptocurrency  is now getting more popular in different part of the world. People adopt it because they knew how can it help them.  There are people are still doubt about  crypto because of some reasons,  a reason that may give them negative feedback about crypto. To think that only 5 years ago when I told people I was interested in bitcoin and they warned me that it might be dangerous and now all of them are attacking bitcoin to get some more is really makes me sleep much better at nights. Yes, i do believe that it is increasing because now a days people are using technology. Multimedia has greatly influenced people in today's generation. That's why crytocurrency is now an apple of the eye of those aspiring investors.

there are already numerous write-ups, ads, videos, infographics that are circulating in most social medias, and im pretty much sure more and more people are aware of crypto, but as the percentage is concern, i am not, the ever growing population that are into crypto are tremendously increasing almost day by day, we can see that in the current market situation and the price, law of economics, when the demand is high, the price is also high, even there are millions of crypto  that are being mined, and a lot of altcoins are being introduced, it clearly shows that the demand is not decreasing, this signifies that crypto is penetrating the wide range of new users and traditional traders. 

just a wild guess i think just about 20% only and that is just my rough estimate base on my city, we can help expose about this by supporting and using it in purchasing products and or during paying services.

20% of the world's human population knows bitcoin. bitcoin is growing bigger, but the price drops drastically this year, making investor interest in bitcoin also come down.

Where did you get that number though? I'm just curious, when you say that 20% knows bitcoin does it mean that they're using crypto already? Because if they did then that's a huge number for me. Its probably < 10% of the world population is actually using bitcoin. But it doesn't mean that its a bad number though, because we all know that crypto is slowly and carefully moving into mainstream. You just have to wait for another all-time-high and notice the increase of number of accounts in a exchange. Probably in the next 2-5 years crypto will break the barriers and will go global.

But there is no exact number about how many people are aware of the bitcoin, and it is hard to find out. We know about how many wallets have created, but we don't know how many people have the wallet. But I think at the end of 2017 when bitcoin was raising too high, and many people search about bitcoin so at least, we have more people who came to bitcoin but still, we don't know the number.

I am not sure where you guys are getting all these from? As there is actually no data at all to even back that up and even with all the theories that I have been seeing on the net, it is far less than that. Nonetheless, I believe a lot of things are changing; we are beginning to see institutions and banks wanting to step in.

The likes of Goldman Sachs trying to see how they can at least benefit from the space, Bakkt and all the rest shows that the community is actually set up for some mainstream adoption. It would take those who are smart to know that and be able to take advantage of now, and I believe there are so many smart people around the globe.

Cryptocurrencies are slowly getting popular although when someone who knows nothing about it, they will have a negative connotation about it because of what they always hear in the news for those people who invested using bitcoin and since they don't know that bitcoin is a separate entity, they would immediately think that investing in bitcoin is scam.

If you want to make people be aware of cryptocurrencies then you may start with your family and friends. They would not immediately dismiss you because they know your personality and if you can properly explain it to them then there is a chance that they may consider investing in it too.

Yes, even despite the fact that the cryptocurrency space has really been dealt with a huge bloodbath this year, I must say that the space is still growing with adoption gradually. Yes all over the world crypto currency is getting high value, people are liking bitcoin more than any other coin or any other investment because they knows the only crypto currency which has the guts to change their life is bitcoin, people are investing in bitcoin, in the beginning bitcoin was not having high value but now it has biggest value and price than all other markets. For now approximately 30% of pepople around the globe kows about cryptocurrency and its good  percent, for example 3 years ago around 5% of people knowed about crypto. I epтл after 5-7 years min 80% will know about crypto...

The increase in numbers of crypto users and investors will help bring crypto into a better future. And it can be quickly spread and its fully acceptance if the government will give support into these. Yet, some countries are still holding on and still have doubts against cryptocurrency. 

Recent research indicates that 9% of Europe own crypto currency but 25% thinks they will own some in the near future. This already shows u we are not even close at adoption but the chance people are going to adopt it rises with each bull run.

I have seen bitcoin rise and fall very closely and it's importance around the globe for most of the growing economies have open their arms for accepting bitcoin and now it is mostly using by Asian countries among all the developers countries just develop coins and the rest of the world are following that. So i prefer to buy crypto for resale at high prices.

People are becoming aware of crypyocurrency globally. One factor is the presence of many ICO’s already happening in our midst. People will be nore aware of it yearly. With regard to percentage, we can’t predict that. As to exposure and spreading out of cryptocurrency it is being done. The presence of many cryptocurrencies today and ICO’s alone are exposures already but of course we continually share it peer to peer.

I admit that Crypto's popularity has increased throughout the world, but I feel that popularity is not the same as crypto users because not everyone who knows about crypto is engaged in crypto, they only know and not many people are interested for various reasons. To increase crypto users, I think there must be a very good step from the government to take a concrete stance on crypto, so that crypto growth will definitely be much better.

They are perceived with hostility and with distrust because the way the news are being spread. We only hear the cynical news on the media and most people know about things through the media. It is actually they way the information/knowledge about bitcoin being spread should be changed. People should be made acquainted with the benefits through a better source and made aware of the FUDs that should not be trusted.

I think that the number of people, guessing what Bitcoin is, has grown last year significantly. But still, 90% of people I talk, have no idea what a cryptocurrency is, and many of them also haven't heard of Bitcoin neither. Especially the elder generation.

We are not even close to 10% as far as I am concerned, let alone, looking at 50% which to me sounds more like if we are in that level already, then we are pretty much in the level of mainstream adoption with real life usage.

There are just some hindrances why many people doesn't engage here because their country banned crypto.

Yes, there many many people who already left and lost interest in crypto market, especially the new comers who just joined in around December 2017 (when the hype was ongoing). Crypto currencies nowadays, I could say it is already popular in majority of the country. Though, it is still there's some country didn't know yet

about it, but most people all around the world didn't also know about crypto. Also I think we can expose this crypto through different social

media's in my own perception.

In my opinion, this is not an effective way anymore. I think most of people who live in countries that familiar with internet and modern technology are already aware with bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrency. But there is still no mass adoption because i think crypto isnt simple enough for common people and the market isnt really ready yet.
As far as i see, most of crypto projects are gambling with the market that they dont even know if there are people waiting for their product and ready to use it.

The cryptocurrency itself is rapidly growing and spreading very quickly around the world, because many people understand that cryptocurrency and its technologies can now change our future and give us new hopes and technologies. I think when the cryptocurrency will already be legalized and then we can see how the world will change very quickly and the cryptocurrency will be fully implemented in all spheres.

This is not a volatile problem or a bad image that some people are against Bitcoin, but this is only a matter of time. One time bitcoin and altcoin will be used by everyone in the world when the use of the internet is evenly distributed throughout the world and surely the most important thing is the government. Well, I think the popularity of cryptocurrency was 80% percent around the world its just my estimate percent because everyday it is spreading the use of cryptocurrency  and digital currency. Everyday people are persuding other people and they are curious how it works. People are aware in virtual currency because it is spreading in the whole world and people would like to enter in crypto because they want to earn a profit.

The government will only act if there is a complaint but if there is no complaint they don't really care at all. That's why there is a regulation because those naives doesn't know a single thing unless someone explains it to them and they keep talking negative because most people who knows almost everything will use its power to manipulate someone while they could still juice something from someone.

I think the popularity of the cryptocurrency is not yet widespread, they are mostly popular in wealthy countries where people are not restricted to use it. The technology is still new and majority of the people around the world are not yet fully aware of the cryptocurrency because some governments are not keen on accepting the new technology. If more respected members of the society were vouching for Bitcoin, more people would adopt/use it.

Cryptocurrency around the globe's popularity for me is around 70% which I devided it in to 2 types of people who are not aware and aware of using it.
