Seems the market is more manipulated that ever before with Options trading. Everyone is "holding" out and waiting to see but do you think it will really come?  I lean to it being more steady increase over time that some mass crazy rise like last year.

People are holding primarily because selling will only cut down their profit completely as well as the chance to earn profit afterwards when recovery take over the negative market situation. It is indeed hard to believe that bullrun is still possible to take place despite of the continuous downtrend in the market, but it is the only hope for investors and we should respect that. There is no assurance indeed and that is the reason why people choose to wait in order to witness if such thing would happen that will give them ghe benefit of the doubt.

Every year cannot be the same and this is a lesson to everyone, most especially in the cryptosphere that you should only invest that which you can afford to loose, because you do not know what the market would tell in the next minute, hour, day...
Whether if or not there will be bull run, do not put the whole of your mind on it.

I believe that day would again come on the cryptomarket whereas the market prices will again go skyrocket which would give profit to the investors. What I doubt is that such thing would occur this year given that dominance of downtrend is more observable and obvious. This simply means that holding would be an advantage when that day come in the lives of investors and in the market itself.

I don't think there will be such a crazy bull race as we saw a year ago . The correction lasts so much time...many investors gave up, fixed their losses and left the market forever. Well, that's good, institutional investors will not invest their funds in the crypto market, as long as it is so speculative and volatile.

Right, a lot of people must have changed their minds consider from the fact that the bullish trend will never come until all of the bad rumours will be ended. I thought that it seems like people that was talking about when the bullish trend anytime caused by they can afford to lose their money.

The manipulation may be one for the strategy for some people in cryptocurrency. I think that they may have it. Trading and holding will depend on each coin. Many people in crypto also do trading for some promising coins to get the profits. However, correlated tot he bull run, i still have no idea. It may be coming, but the fact is that the market is still not stable.

Yes it's really coming, Don't lose hope buddy anything is possible especially Cryptocurrency is holding a billion marketcap. Once we have global recession people in the crypto space would be happy.

Of course, I still believe that this market will rise again and many hodlers are waiting for that moment. We should not panic, let’s wait for the right time because the next bull run will become more stronger and higher compare last year.

Whatever it takes, just have your faith with cryptocurrency, we may not see bull this year but in the coming years for sure they will come. Bull market is inevitable, we just need more time for that.  

Many were truly cajoled by the pump of the last bullish market and thought it will be a cycle that comes every year. This year alone witnessed the most bear, which is more than what has ever been had. Although, there is still hope.
I believe that by the time the bull run would emerge, so many people will be caught unawares and some would have even forgot about its eventual happening.

I don't think that bull run will be abrupt, it will increase over time and before you knew it, the value of crypto is already high. People like me are holding crypto hoping for a bull run but even if there is one i think i will hold for more time.

We look positive on the incoming as crypto market isn't stable and having unpredictable trend. Of course,  it would come soon and everyone are expecting it but we never knew exactly when it show up.  We just relax and never loss our hope and patient, it really surprise us.

Recently there are many questions about bull run. And I think the bull run will happen in the near future because the exchange rate is at a stable level to leapfrog the exchange rate in November or December. The ETH exchange rate is predicted to rise to $ 800 and BTC rise to $ 15,000.

I still believe bull run will come, and It is not the imagination only. We have seen some past bull run, it was really happened, even if we cannot compare it with the next bull run. I think some positive issues about the future cryptocurrency can trigger the bull run, including the issue of ETF. 

As per observation in the crypto market, bear market seems to dominate longer and we haven't see any bullish market for a longer time where I definitely believe is that the big pump will be expected to come sooner or later. Just keep on holding your btc's as this is the only safe strategy to keep safe with your investment not to spill over and do not attempt to do panic selling since it will only result to lose your investment with no profit gain.

As long as this year has not ended yet there’s a slight chance of hitting a bullrun again but reaching an all time again is doubtful, but its just my opinion who knows. This is the year of cleansing and regulation, I hope that this year will reward hodlers again if not maybe its time to slightly change strategy.

I don't think there will be a crazy run-up like last year, but I think there will definitely be an increase of Bitcoin to over $10,000 within the next 6 months. Just my personal feeling and based on some positive developments in the crypto space.

no i believe that we are far from any kind of bull run for a lot of different altcoins despite the fact that some of them are already having their bull runs, there are still many that won't have any for many months to come. mainly because they were pumped more than they should have and that killed their markets and any chance they could have in a bull run this year.

I very often believe that the bullish will come, it's just that it might not be as fast as a lot of people. as we know, this is a global crisis. not only crypto, even the stock market is now in a storm

no i dont think so, but lets hope there will be some movement arround december. the possibilities of bullrun is very little as i cant see resaons for it. crypto is no longer a get rich quick scheme

It will surely come but I don't think it will happen this last quarter of 2018, perhaps it would take time. I have read some few updates that there will never have a bull run until after a year or two. But anything is possible. I wouldn't want to have a weak hands with my holdings coz that will surely lead to great loss. Let's just hope the market will recover soonest.

I believe there will come a time when the market will soar, that is for sure, if the coin continues below everyone leaving Crypto, of course the coin and market majors don't want to be like that, this is just a game, and will continue to spin, just wait and keep hold

I beg to disagree. If there's more manipulation that ever before we would have to see massive price fluctuations, on the contrary what we're witnessing is the price somewhat very stable in the last 5 months or so, so clearly manipulation is out of the picture.

Of course holding at this point is viable options because only few knows how to handle short or day trading because of the risk involved.

Regarding the madness of last year, I don't see it happening though, as what you have said, investors are more on the wait and see attitude so they're very reluctant to pour their cash at this point.

Buill run is really coming all we need is to buy more bitcoin and advertise it to other people so the price will increase again or the market will recover  i hope no more panic selling bitcoin will happen because it is not good for us who are the investor.

After this long time bear market and long time falldown of prices in the market, I am positively thinking of a bull run will be coming and will resolve the much a waited falldown and be back to its market and we can already have profits in our investnents , so we hope that this bull run will realized.

I disagree. I believe that the bull run will not happen again this year. A lot of people has given up on cryoto and we need a lot of new investors is needed in order for the market recover again. Also, the investors need to feel secured everytime they invest, without the feeling of security, crypto will only have few invesors. This will result to low demand and low price. I think that is the reasin why the bear market is so wrong.

i dont have any proof but i can say 100% its coming soon. because the total marketcap is too much small. it must be minimum 1 trillion now . because of that the increase of marketcap is very possible. even 10X is possible. because lot of positive things are happening for crypto now

Every year cannot be the same and this is a lesson to everyone. I believe that day would again come on the cryptomarket whereas the market prices will again go skyrocket which would give profit to the investors. When many are preparing to hold within this I think is quite good. at least this will add to the existing volumes in the market and likely will be a good beginning to get a spike in prices. even though it is not certain whether there will be a bull run but at least if the Add volume it will provide opportunities for the market to rise although not as big as the bull run is expected.

Bull run will eventually come but the time is what anybody cannot be sure now,personally I really want it to happen this year but with the level of deep we have in the market now,it not impossible but it might be difficult to have it this year.Am encouraging investors to hodl a little bit more.

I believe bull run will coming, but we can't predict when it will coming. There a lot peoples say bull run will happen in the end of december or maybe in early 2019, but it can't happen if bad news appear again.

Almost many people expect the same thing because they see many crazy investors coming in at the end of 2017 so much is speculating at the end of this year, but what I see is the best possibility at the end of this year prices will rise but not as big as last year because of Crypto but there seems to be big news happening to Crypto.
Then what we have to do to respond to things like this is to continue to make purchases when prices go down and maintain your assets because if prices rise again then we have assets to sell.

We have to do a lot of crypto market analysis before we have strong results, not just according to trends.

According to me and other market analysts, that time is coming soon, which is a very quick bounce in cryptocurrency. This will benefit a lot to almost everyone who has kept the coin.

A bull run is bound to come after this bear market. The question is not wether it will come or not, the question is when. But, when that bulll market will come, is the most imporatnt question. Hopefully the bull market will arrive sooner rather than later.

I really think the bulls are near and waiting to fool the market, I think there will be a false bear move trap and then we will take off! As the year is coming to the end, bears need to fix their profits and there we will see a rise in the market up to 9000 dollars per BTC.

I certainly hope it does do something this year, I can't believe how stable it has been this year.  Many are looking for it to have a similar spike to last year but we will have to wait and see what the next couple of months bring.

There is no pattern or rule of bull run happening each year. It may happen before 2019 but you also have to consider the possibility of not happening this year. Till then you have to be patient and wait for opportunity.

I do not think there will be any bull run simply because everyone is talking about it and waiting for it earnestly! The bull market is not on schedule or plan. The growrh and development however will happen and this will increase the value of quality coin in the market!

You got it good there dude. With many people having high expectations this december, a lot would probably end up the year with disappointment, myself included. Though i'm not losing hope as well since it won't take a long take off if we are to make a run. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

I do think so, there are some stability in the market now.
I think this is a good sign of engaging the future bull run.
There wiull be time to run and November is the best month to start this one.
December is the month of gaining. this will last for the next year half season,.

With the way the market is going now, I don't think bull run is coming, because much people are not showing interest to join the crypto space. For me I think bull run will come when ETF gets approved.

I think a bull run is coming but I don't know when it will come. Crypto Currency is a great market for both investors and traders which could be mass adopted in the future and it is possible. This means people are now taking the risk to invest so that they can reap the rewards as early investors.

It is what everyone is waiting for, but the bear market reappears, so it can grow madly or go down? We should still be expecting it to happen, but maybe this is the final adjustment to start the big move.

We're all in wait for a bull run because of the fact if we were to let go of our investments now it would be at a loss as well as lose the chance to make a profit when the market does recover. Despite the downtrend we still believe in the notion of an inevitable bull to happen around the end of the year which would get the market to a good position for all investors. Even last year I don’t think anyone knew that there would be a Bull run, it’s only those that were lucky to have stored their coins that benefitted from it. I nearly missed out, but luckily I didn’t. So as of this year, I believe you might have seen a lot of people make predictions including on January, April, May and August but there was nothing. So I don’t think anyone knows. The best thing is to continue to hold till you see the bull run.

Now there are many trading bots on the market that create demand in the market and the perception that it lives. But in fact, many have already left it, and the rest still hope for something.

I am not expecting a bull run but random pumps on different coins. I believe that it is still a possibility but it can take some time before it happens. For now, the best course of action is short term trades because of the aggressive market (going down). We should increase the number of coins in hand to help the market. Selling will just make the situation worst and we are not helping ourselves as we are to lose more because of the low price.

A market bull run may come or not. It depends on the big whales who are creating this event to happen. I am looking forward to this time to happen the soonest after the correction of the market was made. I hope the new investors will realize that this is the best time to buy tokens while it is at its lowest price. When the Bullrun comes, they are 101% rich.

I would not say a bull run at this point in time because this might not be the bottom of bitcoin. It could sink further down the lane but i believe new year we are definitely going to have some sort of stabilization in the crypto market but not necessarily a bull run.

There is always manipulation. But not every movement of the market is due to manipulation. I believe there are so many factors affecting the crypto market, making it more unpredictable than predictable. The volatility of the crypto market is not being directly managed by a few individuals. It is like it has a life of its own, moving up and down, just like other markets. So whatever direction it takes, there will be an opposite one sooner. So if there is a bear, there is also a bull.

I don't see any sign for bull market maybe until end the year it will keep down or sideways. I use technical method to predict market price action & trend ( MACD & MA ) and I found something that make me scare, it will like this until middle of 2019. Don't trust me just look your strategy and hope you have a lot of patient to wait bull market.

I believe the bull run really coming by the end of this year, i think this is like the previous year all over the months of that year the bitcoin price was ups and down a little but many of us are surprisingly of the bitcoin price it could hit $19k in a short period of time.

Everything seems to be going slowly and the market, mostly still in red condition, I hope it will happen next year.

The bull is nowhere to be found and the price of bitcoin is likely to go down more until next early next year. There is no significant events in this month that may help boost the prices in the market so the bullrun will definitely out in this year. Next year, some events like the ethereum fork and bitcoin ETF approval might cause some prices to go up but I doubt if a bullrun will follow.

i hope it will come but not the same way as it was in end 2017. No one sure about the exact time , it can take 3 months or 3 years . So be in the game and wait for the bull time.

Don't be too optimistic about the cryptocurrency market. This year, the cryptocurrency market will be as shocking as investors last year, so I think the future of cryptocurrencies will still decline in the short term. I look forward to the arrival of the Bulls but still need to wait.

Bitcoin follows cycles. If we look what happened in past, Bitcoin many times fell and grew. So soon crypto market should go again up.

It is going to take a long time for crypto to recover. Probably years before bitcoin hits new highs again.

Yes I think a bull market is coming, the one thing that I am not sure about is how much bear market we have left before we get there. I would say that we are close enough to the bottom that if you have a decent size investment horizon (2 years or more) then it is a safe bet to start accumulating positions now. Just do it gradually.

The drop of btc below the $6000 support lowered this expectation, if anything as bull run happens that soon should be seen as miracle and no more market technicals. From all indications the market is yet to establish a comfortable bottom, so it is likely we may experience a further drop, the bear continues and we are expecting a rest around $2000 for this year

I would agree with 2k will most likely be the bottom, could be next month or in a year. But another crazy bull run is very likely.

I am sure that bull run will come, everyone is sure of it, simply because this is how money is made in the crypto market.

17 days before the year end I think that is too short to make a good bull run this year so people should not expect that kind of run this year it is better to expect at least rather than expecting too much in the market. There are lots of huge people and organization who holds lots of bitcoin in the market and they are kept on controlling the market so we will just go with the flow.

Same thing when Bitcoin is on a bull, they all forget about past performance. Not that it's an indication of future but every market has its ups and downs, every significant asset class becomes a cycle of bubble bursts and growths.

I personally think we haven't seen the worst of it. Because everyone is still hopeful of a bull run. It's when everyone's given up that we can begin to quietly hope. So prepare for 2019 to be a bad year as well.

It is wrong to look at the market as the same things to happen in every other month or year. Remember that we should extend our understanding that the market is volatile and not always going as what it's normal motion. The last year massive pump could be the best year of crypto people that earn as much as they can from their investment and from their holdings. I also think that even the bounty hunters were earned enough from that pump. The year 2018 is the year of crypto dump that made the investors wondering of when the bull  run happen.

I agree with you that this is manipulation. How can you not understand that the market is very much manipulated by big players and just nothing happens. Growth will be when they decide that it is already possible to go up .

There is no indication of a bull run just yet unless it occurs completely by surprise as the market hasn't even balanced out yet from all the recent excessive dumping and is still quite volatile but once it does there should be a gradual uptrend

I strongly believe bull run is coming in a very short time. We are already all time high of as apex of pennant for shorting in trading crypto financial assets in crypto exchange or on the global force market. A big reversal is on the way, almost of organization that initially ban crypto have lifted the ban after much discovering the importance block chain technology.

This should be on our mind and we're expecting that a bull run is really coming soon. It's very inapproriate if after all of these corrections, no uplifting and reversal will come. We may not see it closely but there will be time for recovery.

I think we will see another Bull Run, however, it will not be during 2018 which is going to end the year as flat as it has been for the past few months. We will need to wait until late Quarter 1 or Quarter 2 of 2019 for the much-awaited bull.

No, I heard it many time in this year, the first time someone say the Bitcoin will reach over 20000 USD, and second is ETH will reach 3000 USD, and the Bull will come after the big dump, finally, the market still in red today.

Everyone is holding and not selling even after huge down trend and hoping that bull run will come shortly but that is not coming and market making new lows everyday and there are no signs of a bull run soon as per market conditions.

I try to believe it. I am not ready to experience another similar period of dips and losses. Most people are waiting for bulls.

Anytime soon bull run will come as we can that we are on the first month of the year we sont need to expect to.much. Bull run will come in a right time so we dont need rush everything. Continue to buy as the opportunity still there to take more coins that we can afford.

We all live in a bubble that tells us that in a moment the price of Bitcoin will cost more than $20k. This is normal because nobody wants to think about negative effects. However, we should be aware that this market is unpredictable and tomorrow we can earn a lot or lose a lot. Everything can happen.

I think it was expected already since a fork will happen soon that's why it did gave a great return to the investors before but sad to say the market is more likely taking some vengeance from 2017-2018. So, what more we could expect to this year the bull were not going to run.

I think that as long as the big players do not play enough with the market, there will be no growth, the market needs to cool down and the crypt on the crypt should calm down then you can wait for growth.

Not only me, but all people in the cryptocurrency community, of course, still strongly believe that the market will rise again. although indeed it requires time and also not as easy as what we have felt in 2017.

2017 is the year everyone wants to repeat this year. but I think like you, the market will not be able to easily and quickly grow like in 2017. I hope everyone who is crypto can be patient and not panic to sell assets owned.

The Bulls have been resting for a year, so it won't come quickly, and the crazy Bulls need to recover a lot of physical strength to run wild. We can probably encounter a bull market in the cryptocurrency market by 2020.

That's the problem. 2017 has passed and i doubt we'll ever get another run like that soon. People should learn to get over it already and stop dreaming of bull runs to get their expectations properly set up.

I think that it is impossible to compare past years with what is now. The fact is that the results of 2017 in the cryptocurrency market were only due to the active promotion of cryptocurrency and the large investments of people who wanted to get rich quick.

you can compare charts yeah, or formations like flags and so on.. but the market economy is total different in my opinion...

Bullrun can happen if there are news or trends that trigger new users or new investors who buy large quantities of cryto / btc in the same period of time. Until now trend or good news can not  do those thing..

It seems actually likely but the problem here is when is it coming and how do you prefer for it recently we had some market favours that everyone thought is bull run until it wipe back to correct itself so bull run might not come now Expectation and speculation is just what we will do

To be honest, i think the bull run signal already started at December 2018, now we all going to start at Q1 2019. I don't know the exact time but I believe Q1 2019 will start for the Bullish market. all money already waiting to get back into the market

We have to be positive towards the market otherwise, we will sell the coin with a lot of panic. The price of Bitcoin will increase but it will not move very fastly like in 2017, so it is always good to move according to the market situation.

There is nothing wrong to believe and for sure I have nothing to lose if I continue to believe for the bull run this year. In time the market will move forward as we continue to invest. Not everyone is waiting for the bull run to make profits,some of them can still use the market movements and make profits it so people who are waiting for the bull run waiting too constant so the chance of bull run happening only when there are new people enters into the market and increases the cap values.

Now 2018 has passed, and many speculation were not happening, so i think there would be no more bullrun that would happen by this year.

A little bullrun can happen but the big one may come in annual period. I was expecting that will come next year or probably after bitcoin halving and it will be the same as bitcoin after bitcoin halving has already happened in the last year .

As far as TA goes, those so called experts are now telling us that we are indeed in a bull-run.

But the question is how massive it can be? It is comparable to the 2016-2017 bull run?

Market cap is really going up in the last 48 hours or so, we have gotten past the $200 billion mark. During the last great run we did touch $800 billion, so we are just about x4 of the current marketcap to be able to gauge how much could the price of any coins.

So at this rate, bitcoin could be $28k ($7k x 4) or Ethereum could be around $800 ($200 x 4), just my speculation. ;D

The shifting of the market into a slow paced market turns into a quick rising market. I don't think that a real bull market is coming in this year that is like in 2017. Everybody has to keep the patience for the next year of the end ward. So far, we will gradually move to the mark of 20k dollars. This growth will not be rapid, it can be judged from how the price is behaving now - there are no sharp jerks up and down. Actually, this growth trend suits us completely.

Now everybody is waiting for the altcoin market recovery, previously many people keep on talking negative about the Bitcoin when it was around 3200$, similarly, altcoin are facing the same situation with the complete downtrend. We might see a bull run, but we don't have a specific date for it to experience the taste.
