All of the coins are trashed now ,worth pennies on the levels we saw even a year ago thus if ONE believes that market will have a second bull run than almost any coin is a good investment.

I believe that the most possible Altcoin is Ethereum and I hope that investors will finally see the real value of Ethereum and will trust in this coin, in the same way, they are doing this with Bitcoin. If such thing happens, Ethereum will overcome Bitcoin.

Ethereum seems most promising altcoin for the investment. And one of the best factors about ETH is its price is very low, due to the current market situation. So it's a golden opportunity for everyone to buy eth right now at the lower rate and then after certain time later when the market will start to recover then that time we can sell it at higher price and instead of that you can generate a good amount of profit.

Most promising altcoins that will flourish in the year 2019 is ripple. Ripple has been performing well even at the time when the market is in pain with most coins declining dramatically in prices. Even king coins bitcoin and ethereum are lagging behind if we look at the performance of ripple. I think ripple will even beat bitcoin in the days to come.

There's no way you can predict to have an altcoin to invest in. I've already done that kind of mistake I've invested more than $500 to some altcoins and afterwards it becomes a shit coin. There's a lot of promising altcoin out there but afterwards it becomes shitcoins, well there's nothing wrong in relying on different persons/bloggers/etc's prediction but remember that you should be responsible in your investments.

EOS for the win! But all of them are good aside from ripple and tron. Ripple you obviously know for enthusiasts. I think you should also cover the projects that can really have a higher swings than these blue chips of crypto. I think in few recent days, there is no better altcoin than XRP :). While both BTC and ETH were falling to hell, XRP kept increasing and still staying at the 2nd place which used to belong to ETH. I think it'll be very hard for ETH to take 2nd back from XRP while XRP is going to be better day by day while ETH is opposite

The recent market is continuously moving backward so many peoples are loose the hope in Ethereum. So I suggest EOS and Tether because these two are really good performing coin in this year. I aggree with your NBAI pick, blockchain combined with AI could very well lead the way towards the 4th industrial revolution, enabling a new type of society to emerge. I also like Hinounou, they have a complete healthcare ecosystem ready to go and an AI companion for every user! Nothing is certain in this market so I just choose projects whose vision. in my opinion, will at least impact the world and make it a bit better to live in. Would also like to add Mfchain, whose currency agnostic mainnet will enable vendors to accept every cryptocurrency out there, or even no crypto at all and just fiat (of course the incentives are great).

Appcoins show a bright future ahead. The team behind this altcoin is doing everything they can to make this coin more valuable and can be use anywhere.

Investing into projects with large traditional support is good but the community support should not be excluded either and a project been success during it ICO does not guarantee the future bullish of the project because the crypto market is fluctuated and anything can happen.

I think it is still too early to determine a good coin to invest in 2019. The market conditions are very uncertain and it can change what we believe with great potential for the future to change. So I feel it will be better if we wait.

For me the most promising altcoins for next year will be ethereum as this will surely bounce back after this massive dumping. It's just a matter of time and this will return to their previous price and give us a good profits.

Alts have lost a lot already this year. Small Alts might dissappear (or at least will become so insignificant that they might be delisted from CMC and exchanges. In the longer term for most Alts however the bottom (against BTC) might be close. BTC might drop to $2k, but I don't think Alts will be weaker than BTC from now on.

Yes, it is too early and it also not early because the crypto blood bath and corrections that occurred have proofed/showed to us the most outstanding coin, the coin that have the utility to survive and the coins have geniune community support because things are best know when it not it glorious days.

Some coins are today on the real deep. We can buy for part of our investments funds. If it will be cheaper we can buy again for averaging. But in this case we must choose coins in that growth we believe. For example ADA is very cheap today. Or DACC - new project and his future can be bright.

Yes its hard to look for some potential coins and that is why I’m stick to invest only with the top coins that don’t need much of the study just like ETH and BTC. The market can move in a different way at any time from now, don’t just put your money into coins that will hurt much if the market dumps again, try to play safe for now and invest in other coins later when the market recover.

There aren’t many if any projects that have more potential for this year than XSN in my opinion.

I have always maintained that supply chain is one of the first industries which will being blockchain adoption .So have a look at Ambrosus and VeChain .Also have a look at origin trail, it's a bit different to the previously mentioned coins.

There is still no certainty that ethereum will go to POS. but if it is true it is most likely also the price will increase later. and now the price is also a cheap category

People's opinions about altcoin will definitely not be the same, because they have different predictions or views, if I will choose xrp coins because xrp has a bright future and has begun to be adopted in several states.

I have been keeping my eye on the coins that are well known by anyone hanging around in the crypto sphere. I'm especially fond of in some Top 35 coins/tokens. Some of my favourites are ZIL, ADA, DOGE, NEM, IOTA,... etc. Like you can see, the coins I mentioned are all really cheap to buy. What it means for you is that they could multiply their price many times.

It seems that RXP is capable of catching ETH, this is seen in CMC and has sometimes unexpected movements. For EOS it looks good too but this development is still a little slow so it needs better innovation and looks creative.

We're not going to talk about just beta working product but also the potential for the adoption. there are more projects that are heading this way right now. If you are going to invest to an unknown project you check if the team is ready to push no matter how slow their progress because there are more worth investing than wasting time.

I don't think anyone will be able to give a sure guarantee of what altcoin is suitable for investment in 2019, because there will be no cryptocurrency price movement that can ever predict it, but to be safer you might be able to buy coins in the order of 1-5 in from the coinmarketcap rank list.

For my part, Mimblewimble, and therefore Grin and Beam are the two best projects in crypto anonymous for 2/3 years. And I give a brilliant future to anonymous crypto, it will be one of the biggest markets! New features on anonymity protocols are quite rare things. The last was Zcash / Zcoin and Zclassic, even if it's just a fork without creativity, he was very generous speculatively speaking  ;D. Top 10 coins are solid coins, liquidity is not a problem and therefore they could rise.
But actually I'm not only basing because they are top 10, as this coin in top 10 are not the most undervalued coins in the market.
Taking higher risk with greater reward is a good principle to follow, therefore I'll not only focus in top 10 to diversify my investment.

Choose bitcoin and ethereum. They are both for long term investment. Pro traders always get bitcoin and put on their portfolio. As a matter of fact, some of them are storing 50% than any other altcoins. I do believe in bitcoin and eth because they are the first cryptocurrency that moving up when bull run comes in.

Old coins have really shown that they can grow and not fall too low, as new coins often do. Recently, I also look at old coins more often if I plan to invest. Moreover, during the whole of 2018 all the coins fell and now have a very attractive price.

Yes, Zcash and Ethereum are also the dominant coins among the altcoins in my wallet, I think they will grow in the long run, and now they are too cheap so we can get them. Dash is also a good project, but I haven’t bought these coins yet, although the plans certainly have an idea about buying Dash, because it has proven itself well and has shown that it can grow to high levels.

Minexcoin was my first choice if you ever asked this question  6 months ago. I never see any meaning to invest in the top cryptocurrencies, it is the unquestionably less risky choice of investment.
